Happy pi day! I have a fun challenge for you all: make these options be the digits of pi. So like the first option should get 3% of the votes, the second option should get 1%, and so on. What do you think of Jai and Irey in the spurrier run?

omg.. short answer is i love them. so deeply. i think actual good characterization for the twins has been few and far between.. it's really easy to fall into the trap of giving them 'generic excitable slash annoying immature child personality' and leaving it at that, which is kind of a problem for a lot of child characters. but irey and jai have soo much depth in the spurrier run and i really appreciate it.

i loooove how irey is just like both her parents and is bold and fearless and wants to be a superhero more than anything. she's loud and boisterous and reckless and jumps the gun and fucks up and she's perfect<3333 i love insane tweenage girls. homegirl was experimenting with unstable speed force drugs without telling anyone and i love her deeply for it.

and i love how different jai is in comparison. he's quieter, more subdued, more reserved. this might be my own preferences talking but he's really not like wally OR linda and you can see how that messes with him. he's got a lot of big emotions and isn't sure how to deal with them. i love how he's not so sure he wants to be a superhero; he loves the science and math behind the speed force, he's close to hartley, he wants to do the more behind the scenes lab research parts of being a speedster instead of the combat parts. its sooo. augh.

you can just tell how much care & thoughtfulness went into the way spurrier portrayed them. they are so very dear to me.

horrific experience visiting Britain as a kid who enjoyed Australian meat pies and being given a british pork pie. not a pleasant experience.
