Underground Drainage System By TDP Government

The state government has decided to resume Underground Drainage (UGD) work in the city which has been on hold for the past year. The government directed contractors of the Rs 1,000 crore UGD project, Shapoorji and Pallonji group, to submit a blueprint for the revival of the project by the state government of Andhra Pradesh and should be starting the work by the end of the middle of the year by the TDP Government.

The high-level probe committee appointed by the government found that the previous government had finalized the bids at 10%-15% higher than the actual cost of the project. It has to be seen whether the state government would cut down additional costs from final bills to be paid to the contractor or allow it to continue the work with the agreed terms and conditions. Sources said it took work to cut the tender cost based on the findings of an official committee as the previous government had signed an agreement with the contractor firm. Instead, the government could have canceled the tenders and gone for the bidding afresh if it did not want to pay surplus costs.

The project was launched in 2016 and is planned to be completed by 2019. However, before the general elections, the opposition parties of the state government strove under maximum pressure of completing the project by the end of the year 2018. However, it could not do so due to technical issues. After the defeat in the 2019 elections, TDP lost power and the work has been stopped. Villages that have more than 5, 000 population in the district have been provided with underground drainage systems soon in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Labor welfare minister Pithani Satyanarayana announced the development of an underground drainage system while taking part in 'Intintiki Telugu Desam' at Achanta in West Godavari district and this used to be one of the quickest TDP Achievements and some of the TDP Contributions.

Mr. Satyanarayana suggested that everyone participate in the 'Swach Bharat' program to clean their villages. He also said that every family should grow trees and plants for greenery and protect the environment. The minister also inaugurated the 'Anna Sanjeevani Generic Medical Shop' at Marteru village of Penumantra Mandal in the district. On one occasion, Nara Chandrababu Naidu requested doctors to prescribe generic medicines for public benefit.

Έχουν ειδοποιηθεί οι αρμόδιες υπηρεσίες και διεξάγεται έρευνα Έρευνα διενεργούν οι αρμόδιες υπηρεσίες της Κύπρου σε συνεργασία με το Κυπριακό Πρακτορείο Ειδήσεων (ΚΥΠΕ) για να διαπιστωθεί εάν το πρακτορείο έχει δεχτεί κυβερνοεπίθεση, καθώς το εθνικό πρακτορείο της Κύπρου, λίγες ώρες πριν ξεκινήσουν οι «εκλογές» στα Κατεχόμενα αντιμετώπισε προβλήματα στη ροή μετάδοσης των ειδήσεων. Ωστόσο το πρακτορείο ενημερώνει ότι συνεχίζει να μεταδίδει, στο μέτρο του δυνατού, ειδήσεις μέσα από τη σελίδα του στο Facebook και το Twitter. Σε ανάρτηση τού Κυπριακού Πρακτορείου Ειδήσεων στο Facebook αναφέρεται μεταξύ άλλων ότι: «Έρευνα που διεξάγουν οι αρμόδιες υπηρεσίες της Δημοκρατίας σε συνεργασία με το Κυπριακό Πρακτορείο Ειδήσεων (ΚΥΠΕ) θα καταδείξει αν το πρόβλημα στη λειτουργία του ηλεκτρονικού συστήματος του πρακτορείου, που παρουσιάστηκε την Παρασκευή το μεσημέρι, οφείλεται σε κυβερνοεπίθεση». Ο διευθυντής του ΚΥΠΕ, Γιώργος Πενηνταέξ, δήλωσε σήμερα πως «ακόμη δεν υπάρχει βεβαιότητα ότι πρόκειται για κυβερνοεπίθεση». Σημείωσε πως το μεσημέρι της Παρασκευής «υπήρξε μια πολύ έντονη δραστηριότητα επισκέψεων προς την ιστοσελίδα του ΚΥΠΕ με αποτέλεσμα τα συστήματα ασφαλείας να πέσουν» και πως «υπήρξε μια αρχική υποψία για κυβερνοεπίθεση». «Τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας που γίνεται θα αποδείξουν τι πραγματικά συνέβη στο ΚΥΠΕ για να ξέρουμε τι ακριβώς αντιμετωπίζουμε», πρόσθεσε. Ο κ. Πενηνταέξ είπε πως «ενημερώθηκαν όλες οι αρμόδιες υπηρεσίες. Έγινε καταγγελία αρχικά στο Τμήμα Ηλεκτρονικού Εγκλήματος της Αστυνομίας ενημερώθηκε η Αρχή Ψηφιακής Ασφάλειας καθώς και ο Υφυπουργός Έρευνας Καινοτομίας και Ψηφιακής Πολιτικής Κυριάκος Κόκκινος». Πρόσθεσε πως στα γραφεία του πρακτορείου μετέβησαν άτομα της Αρχής Ψηφιακής Ασφάλειας και κάνουν τις απαραίτητες εξετάσεις στα συστήματά του. Απαντώντας σε ερώτηση, ο κ. Πενηνταέξ είπε πως «αμέσως μετά τις έρευνες θα γίνουν οι απαραίτητες τεχνικές διορθώσεις για να επανέλθει το σύστημα το συντομότερο δυνατόν». «Πρέπει όμως να τελειώσει η έρευνα που γίνεται από την ΑΨΑ. Από εκεί και πέρα το ΚΥΠΕ μεταδίδει όσο μπορεί να μεταδώσει μέσω του Facebook και σίγουρα η προσπάθεια που καταβάλλουμε είναι να επανέλθουμε στο κανονικό σύστημα ηλεκτρονικής μετάδοσης ειδήσεων», είπε ο κ. Πενηνταέξ. Ερωτηθείς αν το ΚΥΠΕ έλαβε μέτρα προστασίας από κυβερνοεπιθέσεις, ο κ. Πενηνταέξ είπε πως υπάρχουν αρκετά συστήματα ασφάλειας στο ΚΥΠΕ. «Όμως δυστυχώς υπάρχουν και αυτά τα προβλήματα και όταν γίνονται τέτοιου είδους επιθέσεις ίσως αυτοί που τις κάνουν να είναι ένα βήμα πιο μπροστά από όλες τις τεχνολογίες», επεσήμανε. Πρόσθεσε πως «σίγουρα με αυτό που έχει γίνει θα αναθεωρηθούν τα πάντα εδώ στο ΚΥΠΕ για να δούμε με ποιο τρόπο θα μπορέσουμε να προσφέρουμε περισσότερη ασφάλεια στα συστήματά μας». Κληθείς να πει αν θεωρείται ύποπτη η χρονική συγκυρία αν αποδειχτεί ότι πρόκειται για κυβερνοεπίθεση, ο κ. Πενηνταέξ είπε πως δεν μπορεί να κάνει υποθέσεις αυτή τη στιγμή. Πρόσθεσε πως μιλούμε για αρχική υποψία κυβερνοεπίθεσης. «Σίγουρα πρέπει να λαμβάνουμε υπόψη ότι το ΚΥΠΕ είναι το εθνικό πρακτορείο ειδήσεων της Κύπρου, είναι ένας βραχίονας του κράτους πολύ σημαντικός της πληροφόρησης όχι μόνο εντός της Κύπρου αλλά και στο εξωτερικό. Με τις τέσσερις διαφορετικές ιστοσελίδες στα ελληνικά, αγγλικά, τουρκικά και αραβικά που μεταδίδει προς τα έξω θα λέγαμε ότι είναι κατά κάποιον τρόπο η κρατική φωνή της Κύπρου στο εξωτερικό», σημείωσε.
