I fear I've come victim to the corruption and I'm not all that upset about it. Most of my life it would've been more reasonable to think I was with the Eye due to reasons not being mentioned at this time, but something changed recently. I realized quite a few things.

I was sick last week. It was just a bad cold but it got me thinking. Whenever I'm sick I always want to lay with the earth. I always feel like I need to be outside and I need to feel the dirt under my nails. Laying in the grass, sitting in the woods, and I always thought it was simply because I loved nature.

But the longer I thought, the more I realized I enjoy being sick. I always have. When I was a kid I thought I just enjoyed skipping school and, as a teenager I thought I just enjoyed being locked away in my room. But now the longer I think, the more I realize I actually like being sick. I don't enjoy not being able to breathe through my nose, but other than that it's wonderful.

Maybe it's the feeling of weakness? Succumbing to the disease of whatever plagued me at that time? I couldn't say. But I just feel so right. So natural. Like I was always meant to be sick.

And then there's bugs. My whole life I've loved bugs. Hell, I'm going through college to study and preserve them. As a kid I thought they were neat, but now I realize how many there are in my life. When I was younger, the house I lived in had a terrible bug problem. It was bad enough to be annoying but not enough to need an exterminator. And even as a teenager when we moved, we moved to a house with a mold problem and an ant infestation.

Every time I think of any moment in my life, there's always been rot or bugs or mold or illness in some form that I always loved but denied until recently. I recently looked at it from a different perspective and it's beautiful. The thought of it is genuinely wonderful, and I welcome this newfound realization with open arms.

It’s lovely to see fledglings fully realize and accept the call! The Corruption is one of the Entities whose chosen talk about it with the most genuine love. It’s sweet.

Regarding the official press release from Attorney General Pam Bondi on seeking the death penalty:

We need to kill the idea that you can’t both be a “real” alterhuman and have fun. You don’t have to take yourself super seriously 100% of the time to be who you say you are. Experiencing joy and laughter and whimsy is a good thing, and it’s actually far healthier to seek those over community validation through performing the “correct” amount of stoicism and misery.

Supernatural has had many bizarre episodes over its run, though few were as weird as Scoobynatural. In this episode, Sam, Dean, and Castiel cross over into the Scooby-Doo universe and have to live out the episode "Haunted House Hang-up." In addition to using actual Scooby-Doo writers and animators, the episode also included the show's voice actors such as Matthew Lillard (of the live action movie fame) and Kate Micucci. One Scooby-Doo writer, Jeremy Adams, even permanently joined the Supernatural writing team in season 14!

I’m becoming increasingly frustrated with my hallucinations. They tend to be shadowy figures in dark areas, and when they wish to be menacing, they will smile with too many teeth in a grin that often reaches past the cheekbones and it feels as though they wish me harm. However, when they are kind(er) they will appear as the weight of wings on my back, stretching and folding until they disappear. I don’t necessarily hate them, but the shadows do tend to evoke hostility. I know these are the work of the Spiral, but given the menacing nature of some of them, I can’t help but feel there is at least an aspect of the Stranger. Either way, I’m tired of it

The Stranger is about mimicry; it doesn’t sound like these things are even trying to pretend to be anything else than what they are. Manifestations of Madness can absolutely be menacing on their own, no need for something else’s influence.

The Princess of Wales has released a personal statement confirming she is in remission and that she is adjusting to a ‘new normal’ but looks forward to a fulfilling year ahead.

I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year.

My heartfelt thanks goes to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything.

We couldn’t have asked for more. The care and advice we have received throughout my time as a patient has been exceptional.

In my new role as Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden, my hope is, that by supporting groundbreaking research and clinical excellence, as well as promoting patient and family wellbeing, we might save many more lives, and transform the experience of all those impacted by cancer.

It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focussed on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.
