I wanna write an essay on the ways Benrey and Coomer could parallel each other, and I wanna write an essay on how Benrey seems kinda nonchalant about the fact that everything's a game while Coomer is. Y'know. But I feel I could sum it up with two moments from the roleplay I'm doing.

First of all, there's a moment where Coomer grabs Benrey's shoulder and asks kinda desperately if he knows about the strange blankness he's seen (he's unaware of what it truly is for now). And Coomer is desperate and confused, and needs to know that it was real, because it has to have been real. And Benrey's looking at him, and just thinks ...why are you scared?

Second of all, a moment from when Benrey DOES clip outside the map, and there's these few paragraphs I wrote that I just really like that I feel illustrate my personal headcanons for Benrey's reaction to the world being a game.

...Why did Coomer care so much? So he definitely had been conscious when he went offline. So he knew about the void. But like... how did that really change anything? He still had his friends. He still had his life. It'd change a lot since, y'know, Rescas and all that, but it wasn't like the world being a game changed much. Like, sure the world's a game, but there's still good friends and good food and laughing together. There's still video games, eating takeout and watching bad movies, warm blankets on cold days. Good people being good, helping others, being able to help others... How did the world being a game change any of that? It all still existed. It was all still there. It was just... also a video game.
