after you’d fixed his gauntlets, he realized just how much you’d improved them as he was training in class one day, noticing how they’re able to withstand his blasts as if nothing had happened, and noticing that you etched the word dynamight onto the rim of the silver at the bottom of the grenade shaped gauntlet.

he found himself in the support course work room once again, looking aroundbto see if he could find you to, well, somewhat thank you and ask if you had any other recommendations to add to his costume.

his shoes hit the floor as he was able to fully see the room during the day, watching as the students shuffled around and didn’t just casually cater to someone standing in their doorway, they were too engrossed in their own projects.

he grabbed one’s shoulder as they tried to speed by him, almost dropping the poor boy as his items fell on the floor.

“where’s extra #1?” he asked, his eyes squinting at the boy who just wanted to grab his things and go.

“who?” the boy squeaked.

“extra #1!” he whisper shouted as the confusion on the boy’s face never faltered.

“…”

“l/n.” he finally gave up, realizing the boy wasn’t gonna understand what he meant.

“oh! she’s currently over at mirko’s agency! she designs support gear for her y’know! she’s so talented.” the boy gushed as bakugou swore he saw a slight blush on his cheeks before pushing him forward and letting him go, walking out the door.

he normally wouldn’t do this. but oh man did he really need that support gear today! the boy was walking around town looking for the number 5 hero’s agency, even stopping some people on patrol to ask!

he was outside the doors, watching with anticipation as he looked inside, watching power loader scold you, a sheepish smile on your face.

bakugou opened the doors, a soft music playing in the background as he caught the end of your conversation with the teacher.

“and get your grades up or i’m taking your keys to the lab!”

you put a hand behind your neck as you looked towards who had just walked in the door, a look of confusion on your face as you spotted the blonde hero in training.

you had grease on your face and dirt covering your arms up to your elbows, and yet he didn’t find himself completely repulsed, just fascinated.

“bakugou? what’re you doing here?” you spoke, a large screw in your hand as you waved him over.

“i, uh, i need your help with something.”

you nodded.

“d’ya have anymore recommendations for me? like to add onto my hero outfit? i liked the way you messed with my gauntlets.

“you came all the way over here to ask me that?” your tone was questioning, and your face wasn’t having any of it.

“listen! i’ve got a mission soon and if you do have anything to add i want it on by then! got it, extra?!” he got defensive quick.

“are you forgetful or do you just like to piss me off?”

he was stubborn, you were stubborn.

the perfect match for one another!

“tch. y’know what i don’t even know why i bothered coming out here! clearly you’re just an egotistical asshole.” he turned around.

“fine! then go! i’m not exactly asking to design your support gear anyway! bitch.” you said with pride, although you whispered the last part.

as the door jingled, signaling his exit, you could hear footsteps approaching from behind you.

“well well well, seems like we’ve found someone with enough spunk to finally match yours!” mirko clapped, announcing that out loud to everyone who was sitting in the lobby.

“tch. he wishes.”

“i dunno, the way you were talking to each other, i’d say there’s some romantic tension there, aren’t i right akari?” she turned to her assistant who nodded.

the next day bakugou showed up to the lab, just sitting there waiting to be acknowledged, although you blatantly ignored him the whole time he was there, going on with your day while people from his class walked in and were instantly assisted, even deku.

he would sit there and wait. and that’s all he’d do. day after day for a whole week before you finally begun to notice him sitting there.

“alright i can’t focus with you huffing and puffing in the corner over there!” you dropped your tools, clanking against one another as they hit your workspace.

“i don’t want to help you. but you’ve got persistence. i’ll give you that.” you said as you grabbed some things from a drawer, shoving them into his chest.

“what’s this?”

“a mix of different things. smaller compact grenades that pack a bigger punch than your other ones, these are ear plugs that’ll allow you to hear without damaging your hearing further, this is a roll of tape. for you to shut up.” you gave a chesire grin at the last one.

surprisingly, he chuckled. he didn’t think he’d ever find someone who… “matched his freak,” as mina would describe it.

he also found himself liking the feeling of sitting there and watching you in your element, so much that he begun to come in after classes just to chat with you while you worked.

you weren’t as bad as he thought, he wasn’t as bad as you thought.

you could get used to this.

Aizawa, Dabi and Amajiki x Nezuko Demon Reader

Reader has a demon quirk that makes them just like Nezuko from Demon Slayer. Their quirk comes at the cost of being asleep for abnormally long periods of time as well as an inability to speak and a slight decrease in mental clarity as well

Amajiki:

He and Mirio had known you since Preschool before you got your quirk

When your quirk manifested, you began to sleep for long periods of time, often times you would sleep for a week or more whenever you used your quirk or just to maintain an even amount of energy

Tamaki was worried about you and your likeliness to fall behind, so he began to tutor you and help you stay caught up with your classes

Your parents had a box designed for you to sleep in since you’ll fall asleep wherever and be unable to be woken up

Since then, Tamaki has carried you everywhere and been your designated caretaker and supporter

Reader is fiercely protective of him and obeys his commands

Reader loves when he, Hado or Mirio plays with their hair

Is completely docile and loves to nuzzle Tamaki as a means to show their affection

Reader’s ability is like Tamayo’s. They can create visual floral patterns and it affects the people’s mood making them docile or sleepy

Tamaki is deeply appreciative of the reader’s ability

Reader will sit on his lap or Mirio’s if their awake during class

Dabi:

He found you one day all alone, you were in your small form so he thought you were a homeless kid and he decided to help you out

No one had ever shown you kindness before so you quickly grew attached to him

Reader is fiercely loyal and protective of dabi

Whenever a hero or villain tries to attack him, you’ll pop up and attack them, defending him

Reader is constantly hostile and is always growling and glaring at others

Toga thinks it’s adorable and as Dabi grows closer to the league, so do you. But Dabi remains your number one priority

Reader is only affectionate to Dabi

You’ll nuzzle him, hug him, cuddle up and lay your head against him as you take a nap

Dabi loves that the reader is as murderous as he is and that he doesn’t have to worry about them getting hurt because they can heal

Tomura tried to decay your arm only for it to regrow in mere seconds, needless to say, Tomura was impressed

You’ll only listen to Dabi’s commands

You nearly killed Endeavor and would have gutted him if it wasn’t for Dabi ordering you to leave Endeavor to him

Reader’s demon art is similar to Nezuko’s where they can burn people and things with their blood

You can also somewhat heal things like poisoning and infections by burning away only the poison or bad bacteria

Aizawa:

Similar to Dabi, Aizawa found the reader in an alley, abandoned, he decided to take them in after he brought them to the hospital and learned about their quirk

He had Power Loader create a box that was lightweight and comfortable both for you on the inside and for him to carry

His students are always surprised whenever they see you come out of the box for the first time

Aizawa leaves the box either in his classroom or in the faculty lounge

Hizashi and Midnight absolutely adore you

Midnight tries to dress you up, you’ll then go running to Aizawa in hopes that he’ll drive Midnight off

Reader occasionally makes themselves small and hides in his scarf

Is extremely affectionate to certain people

You love cuddles and playing with people’s hair,

Hizashi is more than happy to let you play with and braid his hair

Reader loves rubbing their face against his stubble and playing with his hair

Loves to sleep on his chest or snuggle up to him

If he’s in his sleeping bag, you’ll either unzip it and crawl inside with him or you’ll just lay on top of him

Reader goes on patrols with him and listens to his commands on what to do

Reader’s demon blood ability allows them to create chains that latch onto their opponents. The chains can be used however the reader wants

(Reader’s chains are similar to Kurapika’s from Hunter x Hunter, only there are many more)

Could we have some hcs of reader referring to some of the older MHA men (coughAizawacough) as "beekeeping age" and then they make her explain it? LMAO.

For those who don’t spend all their time on TikTok like I do, ‘beekeeping age’ refers to an attractive older man, usually in 40s/50s. Some of these guys technically don’t apply but we’re putting them in anyway!

Aizawa Shouta/Eraserhead

Age: 31

Yes, he’s only in his thirties, but Aizawa has the vibe of a retiree. He looks like someone who should be muttering “I’m too old for this shit” at any minor inconvenience. In fact, he often does. He’s said it several times today. 

Most especially when you looked over at him and told him that he looks like he’s ‘beekeeping age’. Now, as a teacher, Aizawa isn’t as out of step with popular culture as he might like you to think he is. Even if he doesn’t really bother with social media himself, he has twenty students who are all hooked to their phones like it’s a dialysis machine. He picks stuff up just by proximity, and it’s not the first time he’s heard the phrase ‘beekeeping age’. And while he might have a vague idea of what it means, he’s not just going to let you get away with calling him that. 

He looks straight at you, lifts an eyebrow and asks, “What does that mean?”

Which leaves you floundering a little, because you have to explain to Aizawa that it means you think of him as an attractive ‘older’ man. 

While he’s the furthest thing from vain, he finds himself a little bit offended.

“What the hell do you mean ‘older’? I’m thirty-one.”

“You have to admit, Shouta, you do give off the vibe of a grizzled older man.”

“I’m too old for this shit.”

Yagi Toshinori/All Might

Age: 55+

Toshinori’s the only one who really qualifies for this trope, and naturally, he has absolutely no idea what you’re referring to when you tell him that he’s beekeeping age. He grins uncertainly at you.

“I’m…not sure if that’s a compliment or not, but I’ve always thought that beekeeping looks like a relaxing hobby! As long as you’re not allergic!”

Of course, you take a little pity on him and explain that it means he’s a hot older guy. 

“Oh, are you referring to a DILF?”

Once you’re done spraying your coffee or whatever you were drinking everywhere, you demand to know where Toshinori heard that word and if he knows what it means. Let’s be real, Toshinori doesn’t run his own social media and doesn’t know squat about memes.

“Oh, a charming young lady walked up to me at a signing once and informed me I am what the young people call a DILF. Still can’t get anyone to tell me what it means! Slang these days! Ha!”

I dare you to try and get Toshinori to refer to himself as a DILF in front of Aizawa. Just for the hell of it. 

Maijima Higari/Power Loader

Age: 41

Higari can’t catch a break. Not only is he very short and look a couple decades younger than he actually is, leading to a lot of unfortunate misunderstandings, now he has some whippersnapper calling telling him to go start a beehive. 

He’s probably the only one on this list that actually knows what it means. I feel like because he’s so in line with cutting edge technology that he’s pretty on top of social media as well? He doesn’t seem like the type to lose step with the rest of the world when it comes to these things. So you don’t even have to explain what you mean when you tell him he’s beekeeping age. 

“Buzz off.” 

Sasaki Mirai/Sir Nighteye

Age: 38 

At first Sir Nighteye thinks you’re making some kind of joke. He stares you down, looking rather menacing even while his mind is turning over the phrase ‘beekeeping age’, looking for the pun or the play on words. When he can’t find it, he finally has to admit defeat and ask you gravely: 

“What does that mean?”

Sir Nighteye’s a little put out when you tell him it’s about good looking older men, because he doesn’t consider himself particularly old. Pacify him by telling him that he just gives off the dignified air of a mature man. He might scoff, but he’ll be somewhat more mollified. 

“I suppose I can accept that as a compliment. Although I think you ought to come up with better jokes. That one didn’t even contain a pun.”

Prove It - Bakugo x Reader

Bakugo x Support Course Shoto's Twin Sister Reader (Pt.1)

Summary: Bakugo is a absolute perfectionist so he needs the best support items he can get. It just so happens that one of his bigger opponents in class has a even smarter support course sister

After Bakugo's failed assignation attempt on Midoriya, Bakugo found himself with now two useless gauntlets. Although the design was almost flawless and the gauntlets did what it intended, Bakugo felt they weren't perfect. So off to the support course he went.

"HAah?! What do you mean a 1st year extra has to do it!? The hell are you here for then!" The blonde yells in aggravation that support gear were not in fact handled by the teacher rather the newbies that need experience.

"I'm paid to teach students. Not to single handedly fix the hero course stuff every time they abuse thier gear", the support course teacher Power Loader says sternly. Bakugo tenses up in anger but remains silent, knowing the teacher wasn't entirely wrong.

"However if you're desperate for some talent I suppose I can point you towards some of my students that show more potential and you won't scare off too easily" the teacher says with a sigh.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY!?" Bakugo yells but is completely ignored as the teach walks to open the support classroom doors.

"Hastume! Are you-" the teacher unable to finish his sentence as a gear disk comes flying toward the door. Bakugo glares at the teacher and glaringly says no.

A quick "Sorry Sensei !" is heard from what Bakugo can only assume is Hastume as the teacher sighs.

"Seems like Hastume has her hands full how about hmm... Y/n!" The teacher calls out for the girl.

Bakugo scans the room to see any response to who Y/n might be. Instantly his eyes connect with a girl with black hair and piercing blue eyes.

(It'll make sense later trust.)

A soft but dull "Yes, Sensei?" comes out of the support course student's mouth as bakugo wonders why you look familiar.

"Looks like you've got your first customer. I trust you can consult him and give him the support gear he needs. This is you're next week assignment grade, so I trust you take this seriously. However, lunch is about to start, so start packing your things and dicuss it over the lunch period." The teacher says.

Y/n gives a firm nod with no further curiosity or protest. "Yes sir," she says. She then start grabbing her things and so do the rest of the students. Once she grabs her things she's able to look at the tall blonde beside her.

"Hello, I'm Y/n Todoroki, but Y/n is fine." Y/n says with a straight face as she pulls out her hand to shake while realization hits Bakugo but he regains composure.

"Tch, whatever just because you're some child nepo prodigy like you're brother, doesn't mean I'm impressed." He says as he grips his backpack straps avoiding the hand Y/n displayed.

Y/n drops her hand finding a new offense to his comment. "I'm not my brother, and by no means my father. A powerful quirk is one thing but I have been making gadgets since I was 6. Support course student's only have one entrance exam not by recommendation. I got here on my own talent. Not by my name."

"You don't want my help then fine, but you won't find someone to listen to your hot headed remarks and can actually do your support gear justice." Y/n says sternly as she begins walking away from the boy.

The boy grits his teeth before shouting.

"Dammit wait! You're teacher won't fix my shit and I don't know how soon I need my gear. If you're any good I need this done and perfected ASAP. If you're so talented then prove it." He grumbles in defeat but he's desperate to get them fix, having the company UA hire would take too long.

Y/n turns around and smirks at the boy victoriously. A completely one eighty personality comparison to your twin brother.

"Well then is a pleasure starting business with you..?" Y/n says as she sticks out her hand again to test the boy's resilience.

"Katsuki Bakugo. Don't wear it out extra." He says as he reluctantly shakes the girl's hand.

Principal Nezu

Principal Nezu has everybody's names, faces, and quirks memorized before the first day of school. This is never acknowledged.

(Recovery Girl also learns everybody pretty much right away, but she interacts with them a bit more directly than Nezu, so it doesn't seem quite as weird)

Somehow Nezu manages to both be so chill and yet have no chill.

Nezu once texted Mic to ask if he was available for a call about some program at school and when Mic didn't answer within 15 minutes because he was DRIVING Nezu just called him anyway and was like "is this a bad time? I can call you back :)" Like, no,no, We're both here now, let's have this conversation now. Go ahead

One time Nezu pulled the Big Three out of their classes and brought them into his office to sit them down like he was about to have a Big Serious Conversation, and then he just says "Do you think...it would be possible for you to visit the first year hero classes...and tell them about your experiences? :)" Mirio and Nejire are both going "yeah, sure", while thinking why did we have to get pulled out of class like this was something really important? Amajiki is hyperventilating.

Power loader

Power Loader is like some kind of cryptid.

He just shows up when things need to be fixed, fixes them, and then disappears again. He never says a word. Don't question it, just be grateful and let him stay in his hiding place

Random knowledge. Whenever the rest of the staff has some random question that no one else can answer. Ask Power Loader. He knows. He always know. Don't question that either, he's just one of those kind of people

Power loader and All Might are the only two teachers who were asked to come to UA instead of having to apply

Actually 13 falls somewhere inbetween applying and being asked to join the staff, because she kind of created her own job.

She just had a meeting with Nezu one day to be like "Your students need an Unforeseen Simulation Joint! Here's what that means and why you need it" And Nezu went "... :) You're hired!"

All Might

Toughest person anybody knows. Can not handle spicy food.

Everybody loves him. Anybody who doesn't isn't cut out for hero school. This is not bragging, it just happens to be true.

All Might once listed one of his credentials as BAMF. (Izuku absolutely lost it that day)

While discussing I Island with Izuku, All Might very casually stated "My ex husband lives there" as if that isn't an Absolute Bombshell to drop You can't just Say That and NOT ELABORATE WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU HAVE AN EXHUSBAND!?!!???? (Izuku lost it even more that day)

Present Mic

Mic has a bad habit of talking a little too fast. Nobody's ever 100% sure what he said.

Also he swears. Like. A lot. Like, he would get in trouble as a student for swearing.

There is a drawer on Mic's desk that's labeled 'Present Mic's Top Secret Hiding Place' and anybody who notices it is just like ??? because it's clearly labeled and Not a Secret. But Mic is very scatter brained and will lose anything as soon as it leaves his eyesight. Having a specific place to put things help with that.

EraserMic

Married. But they don't really talk about it, and they don't act married in front of the students, so a lot of them don't realize it

It's actually surprising because they have pictures of them and their kids on their desks. All you have to do is go to the teacher's office. It's not a secret. It's right there.

There's a class for the second years on like, heroism and personal lives or something. Eraser and Mic get to teach part of that unit because they have experience being married heroes.

One year when Aizawa says that he's married to Mic one of the students asks him why

That same year, when Aizawa reveals that there is one teacher he will never be friends with (like, even more than all the other teachers), just because they have nothing in common other than working at UA, and the same student asks him if it's Mic

People assume Mic gets special treatment as Aizawa's husband. This is not true. If anything, he's more likely to get the short end of the stick and be asked to cover for Aizawa.

Eraser Head

Aizawa forgot that there was supposed to be a chaperone for the remedial licensing training and said he would probably be the one doing it. He was not. He sent Mic. Thus proving the previous statement true.

Bad at interpersonal relationships

Has a bad habit of mumbling. Students are never 100% sure what he said

The following is a snippet from Always.

Summary: Bakugo wants to kiss the gloss off her lips.

Bakugo woke up extra early that morning since he had to get his gauntlets repaired and wanted them back by evening. He held one of his gauntlets under his arm, making his way to the support department to ask Power Loader to fix his gauntlets. Another reason why he came to school early was to study in peace. Tutoring his friends made him want to rip out his hair with how stupid they could be sometimes.

Unknown to him, a certain silver-eyed girl had the same plans. Sort of. Yoshiko sat on her usual seat in the empty classroom, math textbook and notebook opened in front of her. She arrived at class early to avoid running into Shinsou. She wasn't sure she wanted to bother looking at him just yet. And then there was Bakugo.

She couldn't get the way he gently held her out of her mind. Just thinking about it made her insides a mush again. She rarely cried in front of anyone. She refused to let her tears out. But when Bakugo suddenly pulled her into him, she couldn't hold back her tears anymore. He was so comforting.

She started daydreaming about his handsome face again, his maroon eyes, fluffy and spiky hair, and his delicate touch that wiped her eyes. Yoshiko grumbled to herself when she realised she'd begun daydreaming instead of focusing on the books in front of her, willing her heart to calm down.

He's so stupid. She aggressively jotted down formulas. Who does he think he is, making my heart race like that. Not that I'll let it happen again. He can't keep making me feel like that.

Yoshiko had moved on from thoughts of Bakugo and finally focused on her work, going along with the flow of the study session. That's until the boy she was daydreaming about a few seconds ago decided to show up. She felt the desk behind her shift and glanced back to see Bakugo. She gave him a blank look, expressions neutral.

"We havin' a staring challenge now?" Bakugo grimaced, annoyed when she simply stared and said nothing.

"Why are you here so early?"

"Had to get my gauntlet repaired." Bakugo huffed, taking out his math textbook from the bag.

"You're going to study math? I'm doing that too. Maybe we can study together." She said, getting up and turning her chair so it faced his desk.

"Nice try, I 'aint tutoring ya."

"I don't need tutoring." She scoffed, putting her notebook on his desk. Bakugo looked up from the pages he was flipping, taking a quick glance at her face. She looks pretty. She had her hair in two dutch braids, lazily sitting on her chest. He couldn't help but admire how the braid shifted from black to white. Then his eyes lingered on her clear-gloss-coated lips. Oh, God, that shine made him want to devour her lips.

"So, what chapter are you doing?" Yoshiko asked.

"Huh?"

"What chapter are you going to do? Or should I say it in English?" Bakugo rolled his eyes at her sassy attitude.

"Watch your mouth. I'm gonna do the third chapter." Bakugo skipped over to the topic exercise when an idea popped up in his head. "Oi. Let's do this exercise and see who gets the most answers right."

"And what does the winner get." She asked, clicking her pen.

"Free lunch from the loser, which, by the way, is you."

"Uno reverse, bitch. Bring it on."

"Heh."

They two fell into silence, solving the math exercise, doubling-checking every answer twice to make sure they got it right. Yoshiko liked the idea of studying with a challenge. It riled ber up. She also knew Bakugo was the only one with whom she could study like this. Because he, too, like her, had a love for challenges.

Bakugo looked up from his notebook when he heard Yoshiko crack her knuckles, biting her lip, eyes focused on her notebook. He held his pen in his fist, almost crushing it. Why did she have to wear gloss? It was distracting him.

"Why the fuck do you wear that?"

"Wear what?" Yoshiko frowned.

"Gloss." He stated.

"Because I don't want crusty lips like you?" She mocked with a mischievous grin.

"My lips aren't crusty, fuck you."

"Dudeski, the gloss is on my lips, not yours. Why does it bother you?"

"That's exactly why it fucking bothers me. Because it's on your lips." Bakugo said, locking his eyes with hers.

"Uhuh? If you want lipgloss like mine, just say so. I'll buy you one." Yoshiko said, unsure where the conversation was going. Bakugo smirked, leaning forward. Yoshiko was taken aback by this sudden movement.

"Oh, no." He said his voice husky, his nose inches apart from hers. "That's not how I want your lipgloss on my lips."

Yoshiko stared into his eyes in confusion. If he did not want her to buy him the same gloss as she wore, how else was he expecting to get the gloss she used on his lips? Realisation dawned on Yoshiko, and her lips parted in surprise. Did he mean he wanted her gloss on his lips by kissing her?! Was she looking too deep into things, and he actually meant that Yoshiko did not have to buy him a new one and just lend him the one she had in her bag right now?!

Yoshiko's cheeks flushed seven colours of red, her heart soaring up in the skies, but she did not break eye contact. Just when she said she wouldn't let herself feel this way again, he had to go and pull something flirty. Since when did he get so flirtatious? He wasn't like that when we first met, it's so unfair! He wants to tease me? Fine.

Bakugo was going to ask her if the cat got her tongue when, to his surprise, she tilted her head and leaned towards him, their noses now touching. "If you want my gloss by kissing it off me, be my guest, Bakugo Katsuki."

WHAT?! Bakugo internally screamed.

With how close they were now, Yoshiko almost wanted him to kiss her. She felt like her senses were clouded just from being this close to Bakugo as if he were some sort of drug she hadn't tried yet. Flinging her desire to kiss him aside, she continued to fluster him.

"Awh, what's wrong, Katsuki. Scared?" She leaned further into him, their lips dangerously close now. One wrong move, and they'd practically be kissing.

Bakugo didn't bother responding. Not when she was this close. His eyes were half-lidded, ready to push his lips onto hers when he heard the door sliding open.

Yoshiko and Bakugo pulled back at the speed of light and grabbed a book, each covering their faces with it, pretending to study while both flared bright red.

"Oh, hey! Didn't think you two would arrive to class on time." Sero chirped, walking up to the two.

"Mm, yeah." Yoshiko gave out a small response.

"Yes." Bakugo responded.

So I’m basically in love with the 9/10s AU

I’ve read it now approximately three times in the past month. My fanfiction addiction is insane.

The new chapter is great, of course. I love everything about it. Power Loader has no idea what he’s actually doing. Hizashi and Nemuri have an idea of what’s to come, and they are powerless to stop it. Nedzu is pulling the strings, Izuku will probably be sharing an apartment with his future husband within the week.

Curious about how much Tsukauchi knows as to Izuku’s backstory. Considering he and All Might are friends, and All Might is not a good person in this au… he might be in for a few nasty surprises. He’s trying to help Izuku, but there’s only so much influence he has. Luckily now Izuku has Nedzu on his side. The world is in danger.

Izuku is probably going to find himself in the new relationship rather quickly. Aizawa now has an excuse to get Izuku moved in with him. And when they start sharing an apartment, I’m not sure how well Aizawa is going to be able to hold back his… feral instincts. Considering he already broke into Izuku’s apartment and went through his stuff, Aizawa is going to be struggling to hold himself back through every conversation, and I can’t wait for it.

Then again, Izuku is also somewhat insane, and if his favorite hero Eraserhead were to tell him everything he wants to do with him, I don’t know if Izuku would object…

I’m excited to see the next chapter whenever it’s posted. I just wanted to give you the good old “howdy your work is good” speech, and then dance away into the void. Have a nice day.

it's always funny to me when people blame jack's insanity and genocidal tendencies solely on lilith and moxxi's so-called "betrayal" and at this point i'm convinced that they played some different game because:

lilith and moxxi literally saw him kill innocent scientists only because he thought they may betray him, but there was no solid evidence for that. and even if there actually was a traitor among them, jack could've simply put them in some sort of jail or just deal with them quietly. but no. instead he decided to make a whole show out of killing them in one of the most cruel ways possible, while gathering all of his allies around. because his goal wasn't to just get rid of someone you can't trust - he wanted lilith, moxxi and roland to see what will happen to them if they dare to disobey him

after he killed the meriff he thought that it was - quote-unquote - "invigorating". killing scientists also "felt good". normal person behavior btw

he never cared about felicity. he doesn't feel any remorse or guilt after killing her, even though she was helping him this entire time. and correct if i'm wrong, but while he did need an army to take helios back, he, in the end, never actually used it. the loaders in bl:tps couldn't do much - we had to manually turn them into the loaders who can shoot or blow up stuff. and it was after we already got on helios. so basically, there was no rush to make a constructor out of felicity and consequently kill her in the process

by the time of the events of bl:tps he has already destroyed moxxi's underdome like she said in one of the side quests in bl2 (nevertheless, she still agreed to help him). and before you say anything about how he couldn't actually do that and it's a retcon because he was a low-level programmer may i remind you that he had the money to make a goddamn body double for himself. he had a fancy office. he had a chamber for angel's containment. and i think it's pretty believable that a person with that much money is capable of doing that

and yes, angel. while lilith and roland didn't know about that at the time, he has already enslaved his own daughter many years ago and used her to manipulate them into finding the vault for him in bl1. and he had the resources to keep her in her place, too

so, of course, when they saw the eye of the destroyer they knew what was going on. imagine somehow killing a monster that took down armies just to see its' eye being used by some big fucking corporation for god knows what years later

now, to the fun part - the betrayal. let's just say that moxxi’s good at reading people - she wasn’t wrong when she called jack a «power-hungry psychopath» and said that «a lot of decent people will live to regret it if you come down from helios alive» as we will see in the future events. she and others saw jack's true colors shine through during their little quest to save the moon and it was the only logical conclusion. she was fucking right

moxxi specifically asked jack to be at the eye of helios because she planned to kill him (and, well, people who agreed to work for him) and him (and his team) only. moreover, the station was already under attack by the lost legion by quite some time. so there was literally no possibility that it would've impacted any innocents (so idk from where some people got the idea that they killed "millions of innocent hyperions" - that's just called making shit up)

jack, on the other hand, didn't know how much of an impact that caused. however, he isn’t sad about the possible death of people that singularity might have caused (again, it could, but it didn’t - still, Jack doesn’t give a fuck). he isn’t even worried about his own team. all he cares about is that he lost a very valuable and deadly weapon because of «the things he could have done with it» - and it’s pretty obvious what exactly can you do with this sort of weapon. it wasn't just standing there to look pretty you know

also, while we’re at it, you can even argue how this whole “saving the moon and its’ people” thing might have been just a cover up for a real reason – that is, get this very dangerous weapon back under his control. but that's just a speculation based on some of the in-game things i've noticed, so let's not dwell on it

finally, i never really got why people are so mad at lilith for punching jack - she literally admits that she should’ve just killed him instead, as, in the end, it costed her a lot of people’s lives and, more specifically, roland’s life. she feels extremely guilty. she knows that she fucked up. her main mistake, however, wasn't that she "betrayed" jack - her main mistake was leaving him to die instead of finishing a job and thinking that he can actually be trustworthy

Workplace rambles:

So! The three of you who've been tracking this saga are dying for an update. The rest of you, here's what you missed.

I work a cargo loading job. The power structure is Loader (40+) -> Trainer (originally 6, now just 3) -> Manager (6) (technically "coordinator" but nobody cares) -> Sort Manager (one for morning shift, one for night shift) -> Admins (people with offices and stuff, idk and idc about them).

Awful Tristan used to be the Sort Manager. Awful Tristan promised me (and my friend) promotions to Trainer positions. Awful Tristan had no intentions of keeping this promise. Awful Tristan disappeared for three weeks in September, then put in two weeks' notice, then fucked off to Colorado. We all hope the door hit him in the ass on the way out.

HR takes months to do anything. HR interviewed 3 of our managers as potential Sort Managers. HR decided "nah" to all of them. HR promoted Ilena out of a Kansas hub right around Christmas time. Ilena then got to experience what a cold winter actually is. Within a month, she resigned and went back to Kansas. We miss her a little bit.

HR has not stopped taking months to do anything. The 6 managers continued being awesome and sharing the workload. HR interviewed at least 2 of our managers again. They said yes this time! Awesome Manager Landon has officially been promoted to Sort Manager.

This now leaves a power gap.

I know that every manager knows how badly Awful Tristan screwed me over, and they hate him for it. I'm also pretty confident that all 6 managers like me more than any of the 3 trainers. I chatted with Awesome Landon, and he said that whoever gets hired will shadow all the managers and then we'll see who fits best where. I chatted with Awesome Manager Jeff. He says that HR will take months to do anything, but "You Will Be The First To Know."

Best case scenario for me:

I'm promoted directly into the manager position. The trainers resent me for a bit, but we all live and get over ourselves.

Middle case scenario:

A trainer (somehow) gets promoted into the manager position. (All 3 of them have reputations for being lazy and being kinda average at their jobs. I don't begrudge them that at all. I just don't think they'll be going upward.) However, if that happens, there's a trainer position open, and I know I'm first in line for that.

Worst case scenario:

HR makes another external hire for the manager gap. There is no trainer gap. Stuff remains mostly as it is, and I get to keep my current job that I like.

Well, that's it. And HR takes months to do anything. So, we pray and we wait.

Anyway I have a bunch of tros for military style trucks (hemtt? Is that the abbreviation I always say hemmett so whatever) along with megamek sprites for a flatbed, an unloaded, carrying a container, infantry truck, medical truck, crane cargo truck, power generator and tanker. I have also made an armoured engineering vehicle based on the leopard 2 (or maybe I used the old vedette sprite or a manticore to make it look like a tank I don't remember) but it has a dozer blade and crane and can take an ac20 in the face and live to tell the tale. Generally these are for salvaging stuff in hot areas, expected to get shot at. If you're not getting shot I'm also making some wheel loaders and a bulldozer. Invaluable field equipment. The may based on caterpillars but its synonymous with these kinds of vehicles.

So you might be asking. "Hey you, aren't barely armoured vehicles with no weapons kindof.. you know pointless in megamek?" Well yes. Kindof. But if you want to what to get your periphery vibes on and bolt machine guns and an srm to a bulldozer I can do that while I'm at it. But more importantly, they are good for special narrative campaign mission objective. A thing I regularly do for my own groups and are currently working on to offer to tumblr here based for some big stomp tabletopping (though megamek mostly probably) fun times. It's gonna be a while though. Like a month or two minimum. Life is busy.

But anyway I do also have a few cobbles together sprites of civilian trucks and their tros. Again, good for objectives.

Would anyone be interested in a lil pack of these to drop into megamek? It will probably require the new development version because you can save sprites to stuff there (or supposed to be) so you don't have to fiddle with extra stuff under the bonnet of the entire thing.

If you were a reporter in MHA and could get an interview with any character, who would it be and why?

Ok... this might be unexpected, but number one might be Principal Nedzu.

I wanna know what the fuck he was thinking with some of his choices while running UA. He has an intelligence quirk and couldn't redesign the entrance exam to apply to noncombat quirks? The budget is insane. Why does the school only rely on a single old woman's quirk when constantly putting their students in dangerous situations in the name of training? Why did he let the R-rated hero teach a bunch of teenagers?

How many of the teachers are actually qualified to teach? Like, how many if them have teaching licenses? The teachers that do the core classes (Math, Language, etc)and Power Loader are the only ones I don't doubt(even if Power Loader needs to be stricter with safety standards). The actual Hero courses, basically, are the ones I have questions about.

Why not get some non-hero staff to teach the core subjects and expand the classes so you can take advantage of the massive amounts of applicants they get every year? Let the hero teachers focus on the hero-specific classes like training or law, abd put normal teachers on the other subjects. It gives them more time to do actual hero work too. Not to mention, top hero school in the country yet you only have up to 40 hero students per year. That's less than half of the total students! Gen Ed, Business, Support, all make up more than the hero course in a school that's supposed to be a hero school.

Also, just... what is he? Harmless curiosity, but the running joke of his mysterious species gets me.

1) CC!NextGen - how about, the fewer kids these couples/groups have, the less likely they’ll ALL want to be Heroes. Like, Say for Umi, Miku, Miyuki, & random kid 4 (Nitaru’s here somewhere, but we aren’t counting him, he’s an outlier). Like, LM wants to be a hero. Umi might, specifically in sea rescue, but otherwise, I don’t see her being THAT into it? I … Honestly can’t say I see Miku wanting to be a HERO-Hero - like, I can see her wanting to be a cop, or a detective, but I could equally see her wanting to be a historian, or a hairdresser. Then Adoption4/ LM’s baby brother (I’m arbitrarily deciding Deku randomly adopts a little toddler boy, they have three girls[?]) he DOESN’T want to be a hero, he’s, like … an analyst. One of the Iida kids becomes a movie producer, or set designer, he ends up with like, 5 or 6, not ALL of them want to be Heroes. Neither of Mina’s kids become heroes, but (if we do the Mimic Kid, and the Blood Drinker Power-Up) both Tooru/Himi(/Sato) kids do. Akiko does, but neither of the twins (if we give them twins) do. Someone wants to be a doctor, or a lawyer, or a scientist. One of the Kyoka kids starts a band.

2) CC - Mimi made the joke that Koda’s future husband is just Goliath from Disney’s Gargoyles, so that’s what I’m more or less imagining now. Big, impossibly beefy guy with wings. Has skin like stone, though he can be cut and bleed, though it is really hard to do. Doesn’t actually turn to Stone, but can hold himself stupidly still for HOURS. He prefers signing over talking most of the time, because he thinks his voice is scary (it’s DEEP, and when he’s mad, it can be TERRIFYING).

3) MHA-Monsters - think I sent the ask, but given Shoji is often associated with Octopi, you could make him a Cthulhu-esqe creature from the Deep. He doesn’t necessarily HAVE to be an Eldritch horror (I’m imagining something a bit closer to Octolings from Splatoon mixed with Monster High), but he could be. Or, if it’s funnier, he’s constantly annoyed by people assuming he’s some kind of Eldritch Horror, because whatever species he is, is NOT RELATED, the only reason people think that shit is because of Lovecraft, which is really just insulting-

4) MHA-Monsters - because they weren’t mentioned, I’m guessing; Hound Dog’s a werewolf, Ectoplasm is a poltergeist, Lunch Rush is actually a completely normal human who is just really good at making large quantities of food, Power Loader is a Gremlin, Cementoss is basically a Goron (Legend of Zelda).

5) MHA-Monsters - if Hagakure is a ghost, are we doing, like, recent ghost? Older? Is she straight up dead, or is it more of a Danny Phantom situation?

6) CC - How/when to Shoji and Tokoyami start dating? (I mean, how do ANY of these kids start their relationships, but that seems like a lot, this is already long enough, those two annd Tooru/Himi are who I’m currently most interested in, but Shoji/Toko, let’s start there. If you want to do any of the others, feel free, but yikes, this is getting long)

7) CC/Suggestion - I know you said you wanted to do more with Ojiro, so Mimi suggested submitting her version of his backstory? Anyway, Ojiro backstory, Mimi Version: Ojiro was mostly raised by his grandparents, with assistance from some aunts and uncles. His mom is pretty flighty, doing whatever takes her fancy. She likes to live fast, free, and fancy, something that is hard to do with a kid. So, she decided he could “visit” with his grandparents - she just dropped him off one day, and never came back. His grandparents are somewhat gruff, but kind people, who love Ojiro a lot, and try to teach him practicality and common sense. They are very “we have no idea where we went wrong” about Ojiro’s mom. His uncle owns a martial arts dojo, where Ojiro spent a lot of his childhood. His aunt travels a lot, which is why she Didn’t take Ojiro in, while his uncle is married and has eight kids, which is why he didn’t take Ojiro (to be clear, they both would have, but they all thought the grandparents would give him a more stable childhood). Ojiro has very few memories of his mom, and in fact hadn’t talked to her in years … until shortly after the Sports Festival, when all of a sudden, she was calling to reconnect “because [she] missed [him] so much!” (The whole family is giving her a bit of the side-eye here. Oh, you want to reconnect with your son? After you dumped him for a decade? Right after seeing him on live tv in a very prestigious hero school? Hmmmmmm…….) 

(Ok, Mimi now wants to know how Kendou/Ojiro would go - material artists with very simple Quirks)

Final note for Ojiro: the one thing most of the family hasn’t really forgiven Ojiro’s mom for, even beyond just dumping him off and leaving, is that she has never told anyone who Ojiro’s dad is. None of them know, and they’re pretty sure SHE doesn’t know either.

For Power Loader I already have Mei as a Gremlin, and I while there’s some allowance for repeat creatures I don’t think havig them repeat is what I want. On the other hand since I already hit my classic monster movie quota, let’s work on the high fantasy with some Dwarves because they’re craftsmen who dig underground(maybe make him more a Dwarf/Elf considering the lack of beard and burlyness. I know I likened the harpies to the Rito, but that wasn’t quite a ‘I have Zelda creatures thing. I’m swinging away from that for a moment.

5.) While I am yoinking from my DP Lore a bit, I am letting her be like. Dead. ( (which my DP lore lets them be dead too lmao) Don’t worry she’s fine it happened a while ago she got over it and is moving on with her lack of life. It’s a funky thing of Ghosts /can/ age but I’ll come back to that later

12. What's the funniest or craziest AU idea you've ever come up with?

I have in total, three AUs I have to finally write anything for fhasfsa (I do plan on posting Tales AU first chapter this week tho!!). 1) RHYS AI AU is something you saw me post snippets of - in general, it's an alternative version of Borderlands 2, where Jack kills Lilith and Roland very quickly and survives. Due to mourning for Nisha, Wilhelm and Angel, he one day writes code for a companion based on an imaginary friend he had but also, gives him some trait of each one of those he misses. While Rhys was going to slowly become the silly personality we know and love, this was my typical 'give the character therapy when they don't want it, and end up with them hurting someone else and trying to change'. 2) JUST WING IT AU is my Tales AU that starts with changes in ep 5, with how Rhys handles the news about Jack wanting to get that exoskeleton in him and focusing on exploring Jack's loneliness and adding him as the third character, making sort of second season for the game. The additional driving point would be that Loader Bot would be able to grab Gortys and run off with her, so the search for Vault would become longer Yet the AU I really hope to start exploring in the future, is this one: 3) Loss of what once happened but never before AU. It's a Borderlands 3 Rhack au that would focus on Rhys finding out he is a siren with huge time-travelling powers and the costs that come with it. He would turn back in time, when Jack was still known as John during the nights, and watch some of the consequences happen in the present during the day. He doesn't know though just how strong the butterfly effect will be...

22. Give us headcanons for Rhys

He actually likes fashion and likes casual official style in general.

He has a sweet tooth but pretends to like spicy food in college.

He actually had a heterochromia before the echo eye and decided to keep it.

He admired Jack a bit but he laughed at psycho fans, as he has some critical thinking.

Even a few years after getting Atlas running again, he still tries to make some guns himself, even if he doesn't have as much time.

He was the one dumped by his ex girlfriend even if he didn't like their dynamic because he was actually scared nobody else would be into him.

He spends a lot of time in the morning preparing his hair. It's quite wavy which gets visible in wetter climates but fortunately for him, he lives mostly in dry ones.

He met Katagawa and at first, couldn't believe he had a fan even if he had some boosted ego but felt something off about him. He turned off an invitation to Zanara because he still thinks about his talk with Vaughn about being good at faking cool. That's why he is even more awkward in future games, since while chasing the younger years, he wants to show he matured, hoping that maybe that will bring Sasha back. That's also why he got the moustache - to show he is becoming more serious. Which fails miserably.

He seemed the most confident in his new Atlas CEO stage because he had to look like it. There was nobody else to help him at the time, so he tried his best to do what he had done - acted the plan out.

He still imagines his plans the same way he did in Tales - with fantasies.

Hey Quirk Wizard!! I'm a huge fan! What are some of the best ways Mei Hatsume could use her quirk as a hero?

Just wondering, do you have any hero name ideas for Hatsume? All I've got is Mechanica and I only got that from Nintendo ARMS.

For her name, Motor Mouth or Screwloose would certainly fit her in more ways then one. Though I think the Mechanical Heroine, Gear Girl would be a cute name given the look of her technology.

"Zoom" is one of those powers you'd be hard-pressed to find any useful role in hero work for. Even if I tried to be as generous with the growth, it doesn't offer a lot. She can zoom in on stuff. Maybe Mei would get so good with it, she can zoom in and see the physical flaws in objects or people and point them out to other heroes she is working with. She could potentially learn to somehow increase her accuracy via her power, but that's about it. She'd mostly be using her Quirk in tandem with her immense intelligence to find and point out things like that. The most it could do is support another hero to gather information or point out weak spots in something. Specifically, someone like Snipe or Lady Nagant, working with them as a spotter. Not unless Mei goes the Power Loader route and goes heavily into equipment to use with her power. Which I think would be more of the crux of her hero work than her power. Like if she made some glasses that could see in different spectrums or expand the range of her ability to zoom in on things, like a helmet that could see around her so she could focus on multiple things at a time. Heck, maybe she could get her own gun that she made and use that in tandem with her power. I dread to think what would come of the insane contraption she would unleash against the villains of the world.

You're forgetting that Eraser is an enabler. Yes, Bakugo should be held fully accountable for his own actions, I completely agree with you there. But Eraser is his homeroom teacher. It's his job to discipline Bakugo when he does something wrong and not allow him to continue that behavior. Instead he does nothing as Bakugo repeatedly attacks a fellow classmate. He assumes that Midoriya is just as responsible for them not being able to get along. He has CONSISTENTLY treated Midoriya unfairly, especially as opposed to Bakugo.

Who's the one always defending Bakugo? Eraser. Who's the one who paired them together for the final despite Bakugo repeatedly being violent toward Midoriya? Eraser. Who's the one who did nothing to correct Bakugo's behavior despite promising to? Eraser.

Either Eraser is an idiot who genuinely doesn't believe that there's a power imbalance between Midoriya and Bakugo, or he's aware of it and sees no problem with it and doesn't deign to do anything about it. You can understand how neither of these options do him any favors

I'm not saying he isn't an enabler.

I'll acknowledge that my preferred version of Aizawa is mostly fanon because I like him better when he's a good man and a good father figure to the kids. But I know that he enabled Bakugou.

It's why in every five I write the backstory is that Aizawa doesn't read teacher comments and he assumes based on Bakugou’s attitude that he was treated like a villain. Because it gives us a reason why Aizawa does defend Bakugou. As for Izuku: I think Nezu never included the activation date or even Izuku kept it quiet out of fear. He never tells ANYONE when he got his Quirk for a long time. So I can actually understand why Aizawa would think Izuku is lazy in that situation. I think Aizawa is a fucking idiot for not looking into it further, but that's me.

However I can't remember Aizawa ever blaming Izuku for the fights with Bakugou. I literally can't. He blames them BOTH for the after curfew fight which is highly unfair but it's not solely Izuku. I've rewritten enough of the series that I can see how unfair Aizawa is BUT with his personality I can't understand why. It feels incredibly out of character to me that a guy who hates when people coast on their Quirks and acts like a bunch of entitled dicks would give Bakugou a pass. Hence my headcanon.

Aizawa does enable Bakugou: and it's WILDLY out of character even early on. This is why I think Horikoshi either: a) wants Bakuhou around the most and will make everyone OOC to do it or b) is being forced to keep the guy in due to popularity.

But to say he ONLY blames Izuku is wrong. He's just never punishing Bakugou which isn't good. I won't deny Aizawa is a dick the first while before becoming more open. However: he's not the one at fault for Bakugou’s actions. Bakugou would have figured a way out to bully Izuku no matter what. He'd have gotten sneaker and meaner over time. That's what abusers do. He'd have hit Izuku in places people can't see and he'd have done things to mess with him.

Aizawa did enable Bakugou. But to have him receive a horrible punishment when Bakugou gets off Scott free is my issue. If Aizawa is fired for not doing anything, Bakugou should be expelled. If Bakugou just needs anger management, Aizawa just needs therapy.

To me, Aizawa honestly thought Bakugou just needed guidance. He never threatens Izuku with expelling him after the first day. He pulls logical ruses, does train Shinsou over them and isn't a great teacher but NO teacher at UA is a good one. Vlad King certainly the hell isn't given he hasn't cracked down on Kendo or Monoma for their shit. Power Loader isn't for not stopping Mei from her antics. Present Mic and Midnight could have done something to. All Might isn't a great teacher either.

Aizawa is an idiot who got blinded by his own beliefs. Bakugou is a child who was hurt by society and needs guidence while Izuku is the old version of Kirishima: a well meaning guy who pushes to much. That's what Aizawa thinks I believe. That's what he is to me. Someone who honestly has the best intentions but fucks up.

But again: the issue will always be the unequal punishment for Bakugou when he is the sole person at fault. He didn't need an enabler the very first day: he attacked Izuku no matter what. His actions are his own.

It is now November 5th where I am.

I have counted everyone who has sent their gift and who needed a time extension

71 people have posted their gift

4 have asked for an extension

75 out of the 104 participants have actually done it or contacted me about it. That is 29 participants I haven’t heard word from.

I will be sending private dms soon to everyone who hasn’t posted a gift to figure this out.

I’m sure that there are reasons people have: forgot to @ this blog, sent it privately, still not done. I get it, we get busy, life is messy. But I still need you all to communicate with me.

If you forgot to @ the blog, that’s fine. I get it. Memory sucks. If your gift is posted and I dm you, just tell me you forgot to @ me. That way I know you did in fact send a gift

If you sent it privately, cool. There are reasons I understand to not want to post publicly. But I cannot know that you sent it if you do not inform me. I do not have the magic power to tell when someone has received their gift. If you sent your gift privately and I dm me, tell me you sent it privately. I need to know that the other person got their gift.

If you are not finish, that’s fair. Creating something is not easy. But I have posted about three posts asking to be inform if you need your time extended. I will not get mad at you for asking for more time. If I dm you and you need more time, tell me you need more time.

I am only one person running this event, the only help I have is one volunteer. I cannot do everything or know everything if I do not know what’s happening. I am heavily pushing for communication because that is only way to help make this event a good experience for everyone.

If I do not get a response from you by November 6th 12:00 AM mountain time, I will assumed you are not giving a gift.

For those who have posted but has yet to receive their gift: if I do not get a response, do not worry. I will give you a gift myself so you aren’t left out. I deeply apologize if this ends up happening to you. That is not fair to you after you spent your time making a gift and you receive nothing.

One last thing I want to note before I end this post.

If I ever find out that you only joined the event just to get free art or free story, you will be permanently banned from future events on this blog. I do not and will tolerate that behavior. A gift exchange is not a ticket to free art or free writing. Someone put their time, effort, and heart into the gift you received. You are expected to make something as well, not standing in your blog doing nothing while a gift is being made for you. If you try to convince me to let you participate in any future events, you will be shut down immediately. I will not allow free-loaders in these events.
