Hi there, i'm not sure if it's been answered already but from what i read I didn't see this yet. I actually saw the whole relationships of the different characters and ended up with a question.

When playing the game, I was under the impression that Moth was actually another "character" that was actually Ren (so in my mind, Ren, [Redacted] and Moth were the same) isn't that actually the case ?

I thought so because of the facts that :

Moth is the person that we're telling everything to, our love for Haruko, the fact that we were about to get pronote, etc

Moth only had his camera towards the ceiling, only showing a but of himself

When we got Ren's number without inviting him over, Moth immediately hangs up for is to text/call Ren

And when Ren said discreetly that we suffered the fact that Leon moved out, it sounded as if Ren had been the one taking care of us ever since.. Something that someone like Moth could say regarding the closeness between Angel and him as best friends

Sorry if it's confusing, I hope it makes sense ^^'

✦゜ANSWERED: Hiya!! You're totally fine, it made perfect sense to me ^^ A few people have actually made similar theories to yours (Tumblr's search feature sucks so I can't provide any links right now), and I'm happy to say that you're half correct!

Originally, Moth and Ren were the same person in the 2017 version of the game. He was basically the original Teo, and would catfish you (and Elanor) both in real life and online, and use the things you tell "Moth" to his advantage. But I ultimately scrapped that Idea because I didn't think anyone would like 2017!Ren (I was wrong.... Almost Everyone is a Teo enjoyer and I hate it here /j). I've since rewritten everything for the 2022 version, but I guess the subtle writing/undertones still stuck ^^;

But!! Just to clarify, Ren and Moth are two separate characters in the current demo! You'll get to officially meet Moth in Day 3 as well, and any similarities found within the game are just happy coincidences!!

J'ai eu mes accès Pronote (l'appli du diable quand on est prof qui nous permet de faire nos appels, de communiquer etc) et j'avais plein de messages donc je me suis dit "flemme de lire je vais tout marquer en lu sans faire exprès" sauf que la conscience pro m'a rattrapé et j'ai fini par découvrir que j'avais une élève dyslexique et que je devais amener une classe demain pour la photo de classe mdr

At least 30 schools in the Paris region have this week received threatening messages accompanied by "shocking" footage of beheadings, the education ministry said on Thursday.

The establishments – mainly secondary schools – have received "serious threats" containing "justification of and incitement to terrorism," a representative of the education ministry told AFP.

The messages came through the ENT digital platform that serves as a link between teachers, pupils and parents; internal emails ; or the Pronote software used by the education ministry. 

Investigators were working to "identify the perpetrators", said the ministry, adding that psychological support had been offered to children or adults who had watched the "shocking videos". 

According to a police source, at least five high schools in the department of Yvelines, in the west of the Greater Paris region, received bomb threats between Wednesday and Thursday. 

Perpetrators "hacked a student's email address" in order to distribute the message and a beheading video, the source said.

In the department of Seine-et-Marne, to the east of the French capital, a secondary school received a message saying that explosives had been hidden throughout the establishment "in the name of Allah", a police source said. 

The latest threats follow a flurry of false bomb alerts targeted schools, airport and tourist sites in autumn 2023.

In October, a radicalised Islamist stabbed a former teacher to death in the northern town of Arras.

Prime Minister Gabriel Attal was set to chair a meeting on school security on Thursday.

So, just a little progress update post because I'm happy with this project.

My Hercules beetle is coming along very nicely!

His horns fell off and that makes me sad. Luckily I was able to reattach his pronotal horn, his Clypeal horn is a different story though :((

Anyway! I'm hoping to have it done (sculting-wise, I still need a bit of time to paint it-) by the afternoon so I can show my friend Knox when I see him!

Just when you think you’ve seen it all, there’s another wasp that out-weirds the others. This Eurytomid is definitely a contender for one of the weirdest looking wasps I’ve ever seen! There’s a wasp in every shape, colour, size, you name it!
