Basic protocol and etiquette for women in different social settings can help create a polished and confident impression.

General Public Etiquette:

-  Posture & Poise – Stand and sit with good posture; avoid slouching. -  Politeness – Use "please," "thank you," and "excuse me" appropriately. -  Voice Tone – Speak clearly, without being too loud or aggressive. -  Personal Space – Respect others’ space; avoid excessive physical contact unless appropriate. -  Kindness & Grace – Smile often, be courteous, and avoid gossip.

Dining & Lunch Etiquette:

-  Seating – Wait for the host or an elder to be seated first (if formal). -  Napkin Use – Place your napkin on your lap once seated; use it discreetly. -  Eating Pace – Eat at a moderate pace, not too fast or too slow. -  Utensil Use – Work from the outside in (if formal setting). -  No Elbows on the Table – Keep your hands resting gently when not using utensils. -  Chew Quietly – Avoid talking with your mouth full or making noises while eating. -  Excusing Yourself – Say, “Excuse me” if you need to leave the table. -  Phone Etiquette – Keep your phone on silent and avoid checking it constantly.

Social Gatherings & Events:

-  Dress Accordingly – Follow the dress code (casual, business, formal). -  Greetings – Offer a handshake or a light cheek kiss, depending on the culture. -  Introducing Yourself – Say your name with a warm smile and eye contact. -  Engaging in Conversation – Listen actively and show interest in others. -  Avoid Controversial Topics – Steer clear of politics, religion, and personal finances in casual settings.

Workplace & Business Etiquette:

-  Professional Attire – Dress appropriately for the industry. -  Confidence & Courtesy – Speak with clarity and respect colleagues' opinions. -  Emails & Communication – Use polite and professional language in emails and messages. -  Meetings – Be punctual, take notes, and contribute appropriately. -  Respect Boundaries – Maintain professional relationships and avoid oversharing personal details.

“Protocol” Chapter 1

Was talking to a friend about Protogens and I just randomly created a new OC. Since posting him everywhere else yesterday I came up with ideas!

His name is Protocol

He is a security protocol bot with a typically dormant kill code (explains my brain randomly using KC and MXES design bits, it wasn’t planned)

Think of him like The Iron Giant meets Eve & Wall-E. He’s more gentle and sweet.

Doesn’t usually talk. Speaks in whirs and blips and emotes with his screen face. Can talk, he sounds glitchy

Limbs and body ‘floats’ but pieces still need to be near enough to his body to do so (within his electromagnetic field). Some parts of his body can extend/telescope.

He wheels around like on roller skates, but also can walk around like those robotic dogs.
