Today's Word With Joel and Victoria Osteen - What You Can't Control
Today’s Word With Joel and Victoria Osteen – What You Can’t Control
Today’s Scripture Psalm 138:8, NLT The LORD will work out his plans for my life-for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Today’s Word Sometimes we’re frustrated because we’re trying to control things that only God can control. We’re trying to figure something out that there is no answer to right now. That’s when we get frustrated and can’t sleep at night. The good news is, God doesn’t…

“Lord, I know you will do what you have promised. Lord, your faithful love will last forever. You are the one who made us, so don’t leave us!” —Psalms 138:8 (ERV)
“You keep every promise you’ve ever made to me! Since your love for me is constant and endless, I ask you, Lord, to finish every good thing that you’ve begun in me!” —Psalms 138:8 (TPT)
“Discover Your Purpose” (Day 2) Devotional By Tony Evans:
“Being prepared for your calling is like going to a pizzeria. I’m talking about a real pizza place where they make the pies on the spot. It all starts with a ball of dough. They roll the dough, pressing and mashing it. Then they start pounding on it. After banging it around for a while, they start throwing it up in the air and twirling it. That dough goes through a whole lot so that you and I can have the pleasure of eating it.
But when you go to a pizzeria, you don’t ask for dough. You want the good stuff. You want the sauce, the cheese, and maybe some meat or veggies on top. Everyone wants the good stuff, but you can’t get the good stuff until the dough has been prepared. In the same way, one has to be prepared for their calling. Sometimes, our preparation starts with some pressing and some mashing. Sometimes it means being tossed around or banged up for a little while. But this is only in preparation for the good stuff.
Throughout life’s bumps and bruises, God is preparing you for the perfect destiny He has created you to live out. Yet how well you respond to those bumps and bruises may have an impact on how quickly you reach your destiny. It’s easy to give up, throw in the towel and walk away when life’s challenges seem pointless or too painful. But if you will keep your eyes focused on the purpose, not the pain, God will use it for your good and His glory. He works all things together for good when you love Him and live according to your calling. There is no such thing as wasted pain or experiences when you are a child of the King.
Keep your eyes focused on the destination – the end result – and you will find the strength for the journey that takes you there. You have a glorious destiny to discover and live out.
PRAYER: Father in heaven, remind me in those moments, hours, days, weeks, months or even years of preparation that You have a good plan and purpose for my life. Give me the grace to trust You in it all so that I do not waste time in learning and re-learning the same lessons I need to know in order to fully carry out my destiny.”

Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to you seeking protection and guidance for my nursing license. Just as You instructed Moses to protect the lives of Your people, I ask You to safeguard my career and reputation.
May Your angels watch over me, keeping me from harm and error (Psalm 91:11). Grant me wisdom and knowledge to make sound decisions, and may my hands be steady and sure as I care for Your precious children (Psalm 138:8).
As I wear my uniform, may it be like armor, protecting me from false accusations and malicious intent (Ephesians 6:11-12). May my integrity and compassion shine like a beacon, reflecting Your love and grace.
Lord, I commit my license and career to You. May it be used for Your glory, and may I always remember that I am serving You and Your people (Colossians 3:23-24).
In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Galatians 6:4 “Let everyone be sure that he is doing his very best, for then he will have the personal satisfaction of work well done, and won't need to compare himself with someone else.”
You are unique! And God is shaping you for a purpose like no one else's. His plans for your life is unique. No one else can do what you can do. Therefore, you need to stop comparing yourself with others and do your very best at what God has called you to do. You may feel worthless by the way others treat you. But God is saying to you, “You are precious in my eyes, and I love you” (Isaiah 43:4) The Lord will fulfill His purpose for you!" (Psalm 138:8)

Trust in the Name of the Lord Our God
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.
1 The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; 2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; 3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. 4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfill all thy counsel. 5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners; the LORD fulfill all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that the LORD saveth His anointed; He will hear him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. 7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. 8 They are brought down and fallen; but we are risen, and stand upright. 9 Save, LORD; let the King hear us when we call. — Psalm 20 | King James Bible: Purple Letter Edition (KJBP) The King James Bible: Purple Letter Edition © 2009 by Jim Musser. If you stay in yesterday's frustration, you will have lost the blessing God wants to give you today.
I only have one thing, which is to forget what is behind, work hard on what is in front of me, and run straight towards the goal. To receive the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13-14).
06/06 Bible verses
The LORD will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, O LORD, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. (Psalm 138:8)
The LORD will do what is mine; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever; do not forsake the work of your hands (Psalm 138:8).

The LORD will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, O LORD, is everlasting; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.     (Psalm 138:8)
耶和華必成全關乎我的事;耶和華阿,你的慈愛永遠長存;求你不要離棄你手所造的 (詩篇138: 8)。

Psalms chapter 138
1 (A Psalm of David.) I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.
4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.
5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.
6 Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
