Stickmintober Day 28: Angst

Galeforce: Where did you get that T-shirt?

Reginald: I made it with my tears.

Galeforce: *wracked with guilt*

RHMG: *no thoughts, head empty*

Considering my goal was to make a funny little doodle for every day of Stickmintober, a prompt like "Angst" nearly threw a wrench in that. Luckily, I remembered that episode of Spongebob where he makes Squidward a sweater out of his tears, and then I had RHMG AU on the brain, so I slapped them together and boom!

I'm... not actually sure who made the RHMG AU originally, it seems to belong to a lot of people, particularly the version where Galeforce feels guilty for stealing a man's agency and using him against his husband/boss for emotional damage/manipulation. So uh... credits to everyone, I guess?

Day 13: I simply think RHM may have used his stand off screen to make sure he caught Reg without hurting him in a rush...

Day 14+15: I wrote "subjects" there but I do not think the CCC are experimenting on them, simply observing the damage caused by Henry and his teleporter, intentional or not..

Day 16: he's stealing the Golden Scoop from Kids Next Door because it's a valuable item!!!!!!

Day 18: I DREW THIS.. WHEN. i realized it wasn't completely clear if RHM actually died or not in MBH!!!!! and what if the gov higher ups immorally rewired this man to use him against Reginald who was arrested prior to MBH events!!!!! I then was told there is actually a whole ass au called RHMG made by a few people with their own interpretations and it made me rly giddy beacuse fucked up au... i just don't want the general to be evil in my interpretations ahwjkfs (wait for my next posts after this i have a bunch to share about this lol)

8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in

Ouh, got a few.

There's two little OC verse I had with some old friends I don't really talk to anymore called Silent City (a stickman/stick fight centric world) and Casino of Blood (objecthead centric world). I still think of OCs for them, just not really involved in it fully.

And well there's RHMG AU. I still draw and enjoy the AU - just can't really continue the ask blog for reasons. So ye :"

Sorry I'm late! Yesterday was super busy!

I'll try to get chapter 6 out today, too, but who knows how that will turn out! Anyway, let me know what you think!

(An au combination that was first thought of on the simphat server. RHMG belongs to @rhmg-au and Unstable Wall Henry belongs to me.)

After multiple times of trying and failing to completely erase Green’s memory, Galeforce gave up and sent him to The Wall. RHMG is confused and sad because he had no idea what was going on and in his mind, Galeforce and Dr. V just dumped him in prison. Did he do something wrong? He must have, right?

Henry recognised him and convinced Dmitri to let him work for The Wall. Dmitri reluctantly agreed but made him Henry’s responsibility (an awful decision really, as ‘Henry’ and ‘responsibility’ should never be used in the same sentence).

Now RHMG just sticks around Henry, too worried and insecure about what he possibly did wrong to make much conversation with anyone else. He’s also curious about why Henry keeps referring to him as ‘Right’ and why he seems to recognise the name...

Green Reporting for Duty, SIR!

I may have had a little bit too much fun with the effects for this one ^^

I know I had more commentary than this when I first made it, but that was er... back in March...ish? It took me a while to get back to finish this one, but I'm glad I did in the end. It's quite a nice strong piece.

Anywho this is some fan art for the Right-hand Man Green AU (@rhmg-au). Great story and fabulous telling. Highly, highly, highly recommended for anyone who A) Hasn't read it or B) Wanting to get into the fandom side of Henry Stickmin and start off with a good one.

A little mature and messed up at times (I'm looking at you Galeforce) and breaks your heart other times (Reginald needs a big hug), but that's what makes this one stand out from the others. It's a great story to make you really question ethics and where 'for the greater good' do you draw the line? Characters and their motivations are realistic/understandable and really strong in general.

Great on all bases.
