Messing with an Artemis redesign 🌙 I might tweak it a bit but I wanna have her hair change color according to the phase of the moon
Info 🌒 - Emphasis on her aspect of Goddess of the Hunt and PROTECTOR OF WOMEN 💪 - Around Persephone's age give or take (1500-2000? Idk like I said I need to make a timeline) - Athletic clothing when in Olympus - Spends most time in the mortal realm in forests or mountains - Meets Persephone while hunting - She has so many pets Side note about Apollo Idk if I'm gonna do much with Apollo but I plan on making him a gold color I think? I get why RS made Artemis and Apollo purple, to hint that they were children of Zeus and also twins but idk I feel like making Apollo purple makes no sense otherwise lol just because they're twins doesn't mean they have to look identical Also Apollo is not going to be an antagonist in my redesign, he likes being with mortals and being worshipped he doesn't really give af about the other gods for the most part lol

Borgward Isabella Coupé
Has any automaker gone from oblivion to success and back again as quickly as Borgward? Mention the name today, and you're likely to get blank stares, or questions along the lines of "Borgward? Who made those?" It's hard to imagine any European posing that sort of question in 1955, when Borgward had risen from the post-war rubble to outsell all other German automakers but Volkswagen, or 1958, when the Bremen firm very nearly nipped Porsche for the German sports-car championship. And yet, by 1962, the company was gone, the victim of a tragic and avoidable series of circumstances.
The Isabella was a bull's-eye in the mid-priced sedan market segment. Volkswagens were less expensive, but smaller and less powerful. Mercedes-Benz's 180 sedan had the sophistication of an overhead cam, but no greater top speed, and cost 30 percent more than the Isabella's list price of 7,265 Deutsche Marks. Opel's Olympia Rekord couldn't touch its top speed, or its all-coil-sprung suspension; and BMW had nothing between the fantastically expensive "Baroque Angel" 501 and the Isetta-based 600 microcar. On top of it all, the press loved the car. By the end of 1954, more than 10,000 Isabellas had rolled out the factory gates.
The Isabella had thoroughly up-to-date underpinnings, with a coil spring at each corner, swing axles in the rear and A-arms up front. The engine, a pushrod four designed by Karl Ludwig Brandt, wrung 75hp from its 1,493cc, with its relatively high 8.2:1 compression ratio and good breathing. The intake manifold was entirely enclosed atop the engine, making for a tidy design that could have been mistaken for an OHC. So sound was the engine that, developed for racing, it powered Cooper-Borgwards to many Formula 2 victories in the Fifties. The Borgward RS, or Rennsport, became Porsche's nemesis in the hands of drivers like Stirling Moss, Jo Bonnier and Hans Herrmann.
If the Isabella had a flaw, it was that its development had been limited, and early cars suffered from weak engine bearings and front-end components. Competitors started a whispering campaign about "die Traumfrau mit der schmutzigen Unterwäsche," or "the dream girl with the dirty underwear," but Borgward, unfazed, worked with its suppliers to iron out the bugs, and no real harm was done to the model's reputation.
Just as with the Hansa 1500, new models were quickly spun off the Isabella. In 1955, Borgward launched convertible and station wagon versions, as well as a hot TS ("Touring Sport") model with a two-barrel carburetor that could top 90 MPH, leaving Porsche 1300s behind. As the decade wore on, new designs from its competitors and a softening economic situation led to declining sales, prompting Carl F. W. to add the most glamorous model yet to the Isabella lineup: the Coupé.

I started my House re-watch, want a preview of the first three episodes of season 1???
Season One (or: I don’t remember Wilson looking like such a baby the first time I saw this how old is Robert Sean Leonard in season one? THIRTY-FIVE?? FUCK)
In “Pilot” (or “Everybody Lies” if you’re feeling frisky) there’s not much going on in Vicodin Land. Our acetaminophen dose ranges from 1500-2250 mg. Boring.
“Paternity,” again, acetaminophen 1000-1500 mg.
Oh, “Occam’s Razor.” Dosage of acetaminophen is 1500-2250 mg, but this is our first medication tangent. Colchicine toxicity! Did you know the FDA told drug companies to stop manufacturing unapproved injectable colchicine in 2008?(1) Because I didn’t! There is no antidote for colchicine toxicity, it’s all supportive treatment. When I was re-watching this episode, I actually thought they confused colchicine for digoxin which I thought was weird because I feel like digoxin is so well known. But it turns out there is experimental colchicine-specific antibodies, but they’re not commercially available.(2) How did you get them, House? How did you get them so quickly?? Literally there is one published case report where they used Fab fragments for colchicine toxicity and it was published in 1995.(3) One patient! Nine years before this episode aired!

spanish, 2 months in
so i've been learning spanish for 2 months or so now 🥳 i know that i'm still in that honeymoon phase where im acquiring a lot at once and every small victory feels like a huge thing, but overall i'm really enjoying it. anyway, i wanted to write up a little post because i think in a few more months or years i'll be interested in seeing how i started learning, as well as what did or didn't work out for me.
fwiw, here's what i'm personally doing. everything is free btw:
daily flashcards - i'm using this anki deck for general vocabulary, and i also have a custom deck that i add slang or rare words to. i also plan to start this one to drill verb conjugations. this is probably the biggest time sink, i do it every day for ~25-30 mins.
grammar textbook - i print out and do the pages by hand. the only thing that sort of sucks is that i'm doing the exercises in order, and they introduce conjugations at like the midpoint, which probably could have helped me earlier on? fabulous book so far though! it's all in spanish, but the examples are very clear, and you pick up more vocab/sentence structure this way imo
language transfer spanish - i'm about 4/5 through this and definitely recommend it for general grammar/listening practice. it's not a traditional language course where you learn how to say "hello/goodbye/my name is" in the first lesson... it really guides you into naturally constructing language instead of just memorizing it and spitting it back out. there are a lot of little tricks you learn too, like how english can be "converted" into spanish using their shared latin roots, the host has a ton of linguistics knowledge so it's really rather fun!
audiovisual/written input - this is the part where i get to WATCH STUFF yay!!!! but then i actually have to pay attention to it, boo. i do actively learn from 31 minutos since i have dual subtitles, but otherwise i kinda just vibe and try to learn from anything i'm into that happens to be in spanish... so other shows and song lyrics, etc. im also verrrryyy slowlyyyy reading this introductory bilingual reader, and i try to pick up things from posts on spanish-speaking subreddits like r/mexico, r/argentina, r/chile, etc... i find reading contemporary posts online is a great way to pick up slang and usually if i find a word i don't know i'll put it in my custom anki deck so i learn it 👍
so where am i at after all of this? UM well it's hard to say but i feel comfy saying i'm advanced beginner... i know most of the simple verb tenses (present, future, perfect and imperfect past, conditional, subjunctive) and maybe like 1000-1500 words? and i definitely have a sense now of what parts of speech should look like. i don't explode anymore when seeing se/me/te before a verb either. i think i could communicate with a (patient) native speaker without losing my mind -- my reading is way better than my listening or speaking, but i think this is somewhat common.
some areas that i could improve on:
i don't get nearly enough listening practice sighhhh like i do want to watch stuff but moving has made it very hard. hopefully i can work on it in the winter
same as above, i need more speaking practice... i am actually doing all this for a reason (going on a trip to a spanish-speaking country next year) so i don't really want to be put on the spot. i might try to find some local clubs or cultural exchange groups for this?
i know it's a meme but i can not roll my Rs very well. it's bad out here
one last resource: if you would like to learn a language but are totally overwhelmed by what to do or how to do it, i heartily recommend this guide. it's entirely about how to learn a language, but it doesn't have tips for specific languages, it can be applied to anything. it's also free, open-source, and pragmatic in its approach, which i like. that's all i got for now but thanks for reading 🙇‍♂️ hopefully i return to this post in a few months with more progress!

Delhi-NCR and Mumbai regions recorded occupancies of 23.75% and 18.25%, respectively.
Global Box Office Collection
Salaar achieved a global milestone, crossing the Rs 500 crore mark on the seventh day. This places it among the elite films of the year, alongside releases like Pathaan, Jawan, Jailer, Leo, Gadar 2, and Animal. Notably, Salaar's global journey began with a robust Rs 175 crore on the first day, culminating in a total of Rs 325 crore for the week.
Prabhas's Resurgence
The film signifies a major comeback for Prabhas, who faced setbacks with Saaho, Radhe Shyam, and Adipurush. Salaar's success paves the way for his upcoming venture, Kalki 2898 AD, featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.
Behind the Scenes
Directorial Excellence Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar boasts a stellar cast, including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sriya Reddy, Shruti Haasan, and Tinnu Anand. Anticipation surrounds the second part, Salaar Part 2 Shouryanga Parvam, for which a release date is awaited. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C0W4pEhPAWV/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MjM0N2Q2NDBjYg== KGF Director's Legacy Prashanth Neel, renowned for directing the Yash-starrer KGF films, adds another feather to his cap with Salaar. The KGF franchise collectively earned nearly Rs 1500 crore in India.

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, a parallel success, is estimated to surpass Rs 300 crore in India. The seventh-day collection alone is projected to exceed Rs 5.32 crore across languages. The film's global team proudly declared its triumph, surpassing the Rs 500 crore mark worldwide. SalaarCeaseFireHits500Crs resonated across social media, solidifying its global dominance.
Unraveling Salaar's Tale
Adapted from Prashanth's 2014 Kannada film Ugramm, Salaar delves into the story of childhood friends, exploring the transformation into foes. Starring Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Sriya Reddy, and others, the film weaves an intricate narrative.
The Second Weekend Saga
Amidst drops in the Telugu version, Salaar finds support in the Hindi-dubbed release. As it enters the second weekend, hopes are high for a resurgence, potentially overtaking Dunki’s second-weekend numbers. Salaar's box office saga is a testament to Prabhas's enduring star power and Prashanth Neel's directorial prowess. While facing challenges, Salaar's triumphs and setbacks make it a compelling chapter in Indian cinema. Is Salaar Prabhas's biggest hit? Salaar marks Prabhas's significant comeback but is not his highest-grossing film to date. When will Salaar Part 2 release? The release date for Salaar Part 2 Shouryanga Parvam is yet to be announced. How did Salaar perform internationally? Salaar achieved global success, crossing Rs 500 crore worldwide within a week. What is Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire's standout feature?
