One of the advantages to having a really perspicacious literary agent is that when you hand them a book (preparatory to turning it in to your editor), if something's seriously wrong with it, they'll do all they can to stop you turning it in until you've fixed whatever's wrong.

That's never a place I've been, thank Thoth. (Not that I don't trust my agent to catch me, should I wind up in such a spot. He and I have been together longer than I've been married to @petermorwood... and that's saying something.)

Have I ever had a book that I wished I'd written better?

Every. Damn. Day. But that's the writer's burden.

Have I ever had a screenplay I wanted to take my name off (if that's how we're classifying "repudiation" at the moment)? Yeah, sure. It then got submitted for Emmy nomination. What can you do. (helpless shrug) :)

So from rewatching Lux over and over again and thinking stuff, I still have a few questions and new ones

Like was Lux just light from the moon? Did he use to have a physical body or was he always literal light?

Had he not felt sunlight before? Did he know he was gonna become one with the universe if that happened?

How old is he? Cause if he’s the god of light, and lights has excited like forever is he really that old? Or did he manifest one day?

And the definition of his last name Imperator means commander, that probably means exactly what he does, he commands light, he’s the god of light, but what if he actually ruled over something? Like beings of light? Did he rule over the universe in some way or tried to

And since he became one with the universe at the end and just accepted it, was that his true purpose? To become one with the universe to possibly rule over it by watching over it? He is pure light so he could see everything where there is light

And the line that Belinda said about him: “so he’s really a god now?”, what does that mean? Like he reaches his full potential of what he was truly meant to do? To truly become the god of light he had to become one with all of it? Or maybe before the gods of the Pantheon were banished he was a lesser god because he didn’t want to reach his potential? Or something else?

Maybe it was because the gods of chaos want to cause harm to the world by destroying it, cause he wants a physical body to be able to unleash the power of an atom bomb on the whole world, so yes we already know he’s evil, but perhaps that’s not what he was meant to be, maybe he was influenced or chose to not follow his responsibility of using his power of light for good and instead wanted to use his power of light for malicious purposes

If he was just pure light and no physical body for like ever why did he chose a cartoon as his physical form? I know it’s probably cause of what he said about the chance of moonlight and reflection and electricity and he saw that chance and took it, but there could of been other chances for him in the past right? Maybe he can only posses things that are projected or made from light and thats why, then he could have posses any other being from a screen then Mr Ring a Ding

And how is able to know about the other gods of the pantheons demise? He posses Mr Ring a Ding in 1952 and the gods fall in other points in time and it’s not like there’s anyone catching him up on all that, maybe the gods are able to know when one of them is defeated? Or is it some time paradox since he’s light and it’s everywhere he witness it somehow? And when The Doctor and Belinda are in the projector the other people in the projector know about past experiences of The Doctor

Like they know about The Doctors previous adventures like Blink, and know about the interaction he had at the diner just probably hours before they went into the theater, maybe Lux is able to know memories if someone is trapped in film stock somehow? Or cause the power he has over the film stock it becomes advanced thus it can read memories on its own? But those beings in the film stock were MADE by him to trap The Doctor and Belinda so he’s just able to read memories then idk
