It’s so telling of his character that for most of Saeran’s AE they had to keep Saeyoung sedated so he wouldn’t plot to escape or go feral at the things Rika and V were doing

Even his boss wouldn’t let him near chopsticks and keep him handcuffed at all times.. he was a force to be reckoned with all the time and I love to see it

Yknow what I just realized? I dont think anyone officially told Saeyoung that you and Saeran are together in the AE- I mean he knows you're close with 'the hacker' before he gets kidnapped, but he doesn't know in what way and from the way a lot of minor characters react to you implying/saying you and Saeran are a couple it seems like you're mostly out of the public eye during the scandal.

Do you think he put one and two together or did he just overhear Zen and Yoosung complaining about how lovey dovey you two are and was like "hey hey REWIND THE CONVERSATION SINCE WHEN WAS THIS A THING" Honestly he's smart enough to figure it out himself, but the second option is kinda funny to imagine lol

You can't forget that Saeran's his other half; regardless the timeline. These two brothers know the other is in pain by a simple look at their fingertips!

I'm sure Saeyoung's quick to put the puzzle pieces together. The way Saeran looks at you is filled to the brim with softness and adoration, which speaks walls for his older twin without exchanging any words about it~

And then there's you; he'd met you back in the chatrooms and if you go with Ray's Route then you talked about the opponent hacker quite a lot, remember? You worried for him openly and talked about getting this war to stop peacefully for his sake.

Saeyoung isn't in need to have someone tell him you're both a couple; he can tell the first second he has you both face to face at the apartment. The way you're worrying deeply about Saeran's responses and how his younger twin listens to you..

Then again, it would be hilarious if someone tells him, you're right! Lolol I mean, imagine he's too busy to realize and one of the RFA members points out the obvious and he just– he's jumping around like a rubber ball because wow!! How did he miss this!? He should've seen it sooner!

I didn't finish Ray AE yet because I was pissed off with how many times I got the BEs lmao but my friend said there's a bad ending where Saeran became an idol????? Like WHAT THE HELL is that??? 😭🤚🏻 Skjshshshshd I'm sorry Saeran but-

So I'm replaying Ray's After ending rn, and it got me thinking that what I adore so much about Rika as an antagonist is just how damn scary she can be. I always found those who cause harm with good intentions (at least in their point of view) much scarier than those who hurt you with pure intention on hurting you. I think the best example of it is this CG in particular:

Look at that. Such a loving, gentle expression on her face. Probably kissing his forehead. Because she loves him. Heck, without any context, this CG looks even sweet, if you think about it. And yet, all that is while Saeyoung is forcefully sedated on a powerful concoction of drugs even a trained agent like him can't do anything about (and Saeyoung WAS definitely trained to deal with this sort of thing, hence it's mentioned that this is a 'special' kind of drugs). He looks miserable. Bags under his eyes, his expression pained and troubled, even his hair is paler than usual. All that as a direct result of her actions. But she's utterly blind to it. What's scarier, is that she knowingly shuts off her understanding of what's really happening. She's not oblivious to it at all. She just chooses not to see it that way. Simply because she doesn't want to.

Rika is the type of antagonist that will cup your cheek into her warm hand with the most loving of smiles on her face, all while you are getting elixir poured down your throat. Even whispering to you that you're doing great, that the pain will soon pass, and that she can't wait to see you reach the happiness she knows you deserve. I won't be surprised if she even cried genuine tears of compassion during some ceremonies for her believers. All while being the sole reason behind their suffering.

And that's... God, that's terrifying to me. I love that about her.

An update on my progress playing Ray's after ending (spoilers under the cut)

SCREAMING CRYING WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO HIM

I know Saeran is supposed to be a pacifist but I can't do this. Let me fight them PLEASE 😭 as if forcing him to be his father's puppet wasn't enough they had to go and drug him too.

His whole speech was so upsetting to read through and I have a feeling its only going to get worse from here. Bad time to be a saeyoung MC huh.

Also, I'd like to have a word with whoever drew the CGs for this because this broke my heart

mystic messenger 707 after ending secret endings are better than whatever happens with the twins in another story . saeran is allowed to be human and not a perfect little baby boy who is hyper-dependent on mc(the girl who he met a few days ago) . he gets rehabilitated by his twin brother who is the one person who has and will always understand him most(they are a lot more similar and mirror each other more than some ppl think). people say this saeran doesn't have enough agency but truth is he was not in the right state to make decisions and in ray's route and after ending it's just mc doing it instead of saeyoung anyway. again, saeyoung is the person who knows whats best for him, not mc. additionally, seven goes through exact same mental struggles as his brother(example: suicidal tendencies + inferiority and guilt complexes) and its BECAUSE of the fact that he overcame them that he can reassure his brother properly. furthermore, saeran mirrors his twin's way of thinking when he basically asks himself "do i deserve this good ending?"

this route also has the most correct characterization of seven that, unlike another story stuff(ray AE especially lol), does not paint saeyoung as the aggressive bad boy twin . that whole thing with him being feral when it comes to protecting his brother and standing up to the agency + his dad + v is something i do love but it is, again, used to make him "the angry troublemaker one" . he gets tortured for two weeks straight for god's sake and saeran not only isnt allowed to have a proper reaction to it but sae just quickly recovers like nothing AND is "not nice" for not forgiving the dude who just did all that to him, apparently😭to give cheritz the benefit of the doubt, this maybe could be chalked up to seven thinking lowly of himself again but that's debatable

Okay so like. I am very much married to Ravyn's canon look with the scarf and paladin armour + helm combo. but their current in-game dragonlord drip kinda slaps, and something about the wings invokes a valkyrie to me- which makes some crispy parallels to her pre-reset mecha model that I really enjoy.
