I apologise for not posting much art recently!! Giving myself a mini break to get those Creative juices flowing! In the meantime, here is some screenshots from my ACNH Island!!! I love all my islanders so much!! (Me and Merengue are best friends forever! I Love her so!!)

And, of course, I must make everything correlate with Welcome Home, so I designed my character to look like Wally, as well as making the Island's flag, Home! I will show it one day..

My favourite underrated thing about Louis de Point du Lac is that he truly is the least curious vampire to ever be made and he does not give fuck about vampires despite being one.

Its Claudia who goes to libraries, reads the folklore, tries to learn as much as she can and pushes Lestat for answers about who made him and where the others are. Claudia says Vampire Pride and Louis says hmmm Vampire Tolerance.

And Louis...truly does not care about vampire history,law, culture. He's never even thought to ask. There are vampire laws?...ok...Lestat never cared about them and he's not going to either, lol. He's broken a few and he will continue to do so. Oh you have a coven? he's not gonna join it, he's gonna do his own thing. but good for you good for you.

the 500+ year old Coven Leader, he's gonna call Louis, Maitre, actually.

He has fire powers? thats kinda cool. he'll learn that but only cause it lets him vent his feelings about Lestat.

Lestat and Armand say the name of the vampire queen in front of him and Lestat straight up says, "Louis has no idea who that is" and do you think Louis cares, outside of the fact that for some reason it means he can't kill Lestat? No! Do you think in the 77 years he's been with Armand he ever took 5 minutes to ask a follow up question? No!

Do you think he will care about Akasha in season 3? Doubt it! Outside of her obsession with Lestat, who is the only person left on the planet he seems to be able to filter Caring About This Shit through

He blatantly breaks the 3rd law and publishes a book about being a vampire and when the other vampires get pissed not only does he not apologise he literally sends them his location and says 'you wanna fight? lmao don't miss'

I love him. Daniel Molloy is gonna need to bring his A game because Louis will not be solving a single mystery next season, nor would it even occur to him to try.

just the idea of an NPC, one thats copy-pasted so there are several of the same (or even just same body, different heads), a group that doesn't even attack you; the idea that ONE OF THEM breaks away somehow, either through their own determination or *outside help* and becomes a secret boss??? Its such a great concept to me. Its fascinating because suddenly I'm thinking of the Addisons as individuals with lives. How did they feel when suddenly one of their own that looks exactly like them, break away?

Its neat too to read that Toby had to design Spamton first before the Addisons so we could see that connection, "he was just like us". Its kind of haunting????? spooky???? Because Spamton ends up looking so damn different from them but the core designs of an Addison is still there.

I need to write a Post about rooms in tøp songs and how they're a constant symbol of confinement and self isolation (the contract ritn not today ode to sleep, etc) - a very private and anxious compulsive sense of self - a representation of how others percieve you but also a representation of how you may let those people down (redecorate, the contract again)

& how this continual thematic narrative of a sleepless anxious person spiraling out alone in their bedroom desperately waiting for the sun to rise is Also what becomes the narrative of dema, both with clancy literally being locked up for like 6 years during SAI, but also with ritn and redecorate and now the contract video we see/hear that this "space between two places" is a kind of waking half-dream, a hallucinatory hell, conjured when you're pacing your room at 2am after being awake for god knows how long, wondering if you should give in and fall off the grid and knowing you need to just fucking go to sleep because you'll feel normal when you wake up but you Can't. You Can't Sleep. (And in clancy's case there's also a scary old man choking you out at the same time and yk what good for her)

I Need to write this post Unfortunately it is past midnight and I don't want to enter the scary room pacing void myself so I'm going to bed for real and this is the most u get for now
