Why Yusuke's a little Silkworm of Love whose One True Love will always be his Divine Mulberry Kuwabara! 🥹💛🌿💙🐛❤️

As per Togashi's Storytelling DNA meta, SYMBOLISM and Names are vitally important in YYH, to the extent Togashi even told us via a manga blurb (albeit in a satirical tone in order to hide the truth from publishers) that he picked his characters' Names with as much thought, care & consideration as he would his own children's names, to reveal the Hidden Kuwameshi Soul Bond Romance that's forbidden by broadcasters!
Since Kuwabara's last name 桑原 means Mulberry Origin, let's have a little starter of Japanese Mulberry, coz Togashi leveraged Japanese cultural context to weave Hidden Meaning into the very fabric of YYH! 🗾🏯🎎
In a nutshell (or should we say cocoon 🤣), Mulberry feeds Silkworms in a symbiotic sacred relationship that's so steeped in real-world Japanese Divinity, there's even a creation myth for Mulberry Silkworms in Japan's oldest text the Kojiki (古事記, Records of Ancient Matters), a chronicle of "myths, legends, genealogies, and semi-historical accounts" about the Shinto Kami-samas (deities) that created Mulberry Silkworms, the Japanese islands and Japan's imperial line!
To this day, the Japanese Empress symbolically feed Mulberry leaves to mulberry Silkworms by hand, to carry on a tradition started in the 1800’s to mark the importance of Mulberry Silk farming in Japan's history, culture & modernization!
The Japanese imperial court even rears its own Mulberry Silkworms fed exclusively on Mulberry leaves to produce Mulberry Silk for their own usage!
Not to mention, as per the massive evidence in Kuwameshi: Audacious Soul Bond meta, Mulberry and thus Kuwabara are linked to Divine Providence and Protection, Good Luck, and the Sun God, which is why Kuwa's Reiki is Gold, like the Light of the Sun, to symbolize how Kuwa is Yusuke's personal Patron Deity & life-giving Sun that Yusuke sees & understands himself better by!
Why are all this significant to YYH you ask?
Well, if Togashi named Kuwabara after Mulberry, and repeatedly likens Yusuke to a Silkworm growing off Kuwabara's Reiki and Soul all throughout canon, even going so far as to show Yusuke trapped like a Silkworm in silk-like Yoki thread during the Rando fight, then cocooned and protected in Kuwa's Soul before Yusuke emerges powered-up from that embryonic cocoon to escape Rando's piranhas in a spectacular explosion of Blue Reiki, the color of Kuwameshi's Shared Reiki of Love...

Togashi's using Japanese cultural context to show us Yusuke and Kuwabara have a Divine, Symbiotic, Made-for-each-other Soul Bond Love that's as vital and life-giving to our lovebirds as oxygen!
Just like Mulberry and Silkworms are indispensable in Japan's history and modernization to the extent Japanese culture deified this relationship, Kuwa and Yusuke are indispensable in each other's Character Journeys, Emotional Growth, and ALL their Power-Ups! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🐦🔥🐦🔥🐦🔥
Just like Mulberry leaves feed Silkworms to produce silk of the highest quality that’s fit for Japanese royalty in real life, Kuwa and Yusuke nurture (feed) each other's heart-of-gold and solidify each other's mental & emotional strength to the highest caliber, until they're strong enough to fend off threats together (both physical threats, as well as threats of losing their True Selves), and that's when we find out Yusuke's literally Mazoku royalty!
Do you see how clever & deliciously subversive Togashi is? He straight out portrayed Kuwameshi as a sacred divine Soul Bond Romance at a time when heteronormative censors deemed the mere existence of same-gender love too much of a "moral threat" to society! 🤣🤣🤣
He really went: "Oh you find same-gender love a 'moral threat' to our society, and you're conflating your personal opinion with some 'universal objective moral truth', which is how you feel so justified in discriminating against others different from you? Here's my reply to that - Yusuke and Kuwa have a sacred relationship ordained by the Gods and written in the stars, their Undying Love and Devotion for each other is what's driving ALL their power-ups, and it's the beating heart of the story around which everything else revolves. Ya know, just like our country's sacred creation myths."
Like I said before, Togashi and his audacity is a National Treasure!!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
But as mind-blowing as that is, here's the Ultimate Kicker of a Subtext!!!
Mulberry Silkworms ONLY eat Mulberry leaves!!!
Which is why I read Yusuke as a One True Love kinda guy who'll only ever be in love with Kuwa, his one & only Mulberry! 🥹🥹🥹
Coz apart from this Mulberry-Silkworm Symbolism revealing this trait about Yusuke, we also have ALL of Japanese original canon showing us Yusuke's only romantically interested in Kuwa!
Not to mention, Yusuke's Mazoku 'father' Raizen is also a One True Love kinda guy who literally STARVED himself to death to honor his dead human lover, forsaking all other love interests like Enki's hot wife who was actively chasing Raizen before she married Enki!
As per DNA 1 in the meta (Togashi uses A LOT of mirror characters to reveal the Hidden Kuwameshi Soul Bond), it's not a coincidence that Raizen also had a human lover, it's an obvious MIRROR for Yusuke and Kuwa! It's also not a coincidence that Raizen's human One True Love is what most manga audiences would consider a bit 'plain' just like they would consider Kuwa 'plain', while Enki's hot wife is a mainstream 'beauty' just like Keiko!
Even so, we see Raizen is never romantically interested in anyone but his human lover! Because she moved Raizen with her strength of character and noble spirit to do good! All of which mirrors what Kuwa does for Yusuke and vice versus!
This tells us that while Yusuke might be pursued by 'hot' potential love interests like Keiko and perhaps even Jin, Yusuke will only be in love with his One True Love Kuwa! Coz Yusuke doesn't fall in love based on looks or fighting prowess!
Also, One True Love is a very Soul Bond type of trope, coz you literally only have one SOUL to bond to another person with! Yusuke's Soul is already taken! 🤣 Coz say it with me! When put together, Yusuke and Kazuma's Names mean Souls in True Harmony who Help each other!!!
Just like Silkworms will starve to death if they don't have Mulberry to eat, and Raizen literally starved to death to honor his human lover, Yusuke will figuratively starve to death if he doesn't have Kuwa! 😭😭😭
Kuwa, a LOT is riding on your shoulders, I'm cheering for you to overcome your inner demons post manga's end to GET TOGETHER AND STAY TOGETHER with Yusuke!!!! Don't you know your little Silkworm of Love is waiting for you?? 😭😭😭
Wanna see a Kuwa who has already overcome his Denial to be the world's best koibito for Yusuke? ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Wanna know what else this Mulberry-Silkworm Symbolism reveals about Yusuke? Check out The Good Fight for a VERY SPECIAL REVEAL! 😁❤️💙💚💛🌈

Elysium/havan source
This is the first part of the upg series where i introduce to you realms/astral planes/source wells or whatever you call them, that iv'e visited. I consider it to be a place but also an energy, not distinct from each other. I also consider entities like gods and angels to be a highly advanced and intelligent made of that energy. Also, there isnt really clear boundaries between energy, i dont think, so this is like a grouping of similar energies/realms. And in the future i'll probably change this to make it more accurate.
I currently am in a Union with The Mother of this realm
Energy feeling: white, light, bright and loving. Cold water. euphoria. peace, protection and healing. Reiki is part of it. Abarhamic, Hellenic, Tibetan
Appearance: bright white. Clouds and sky. Mountainous. Waterfalls. There's a place called the Heart where all the energy is concentrated and distributed; the most powerful energy point.
some places that iv'e been to here: a church like place or cove. It was bright white and was mysterious, calling to me. I felt an uneasy feeling and slight fear, coldness and isolated feeling after a moment. Maybe it was just me and not the place itself, maybe i just wasn’t ready.
symbols: The journey towards Englightnement is toward the center. We start life on the out side of the circle and the journey is toward inside.
entities that are part of this energy: angels. Elohim. The Mother, The Father, and any other benevolent light being you can think of. Fae. A God called Ouro(He may be the Hellenic God Ouranos)
Uses: this energy is great for protection, healing, and benevolent magick

Okay I've been procrastinating long enough and I've got like fifteen minutes of downtime so who wants to learn about Soul, and more specifically spirit particles and the Quincy arts?
Okay, now below the cut, hey there, glad you're interested. Weird shit upfront, Quincy Powers are funky, in that on paper anyone can use them with a focus, they're also hereditary, that is to say, using them extensively will cause gradual, subtle alterations in the makeup of your soul that will allow your children (and theirs and etc) to use the powers. I figure things like blood adoption or inheritance rituals should also transfer this ability retroactively but I've never tested it so good luck have fun there I guess.
Now, without Further Ado! Part 1: What's a Quincy and How Do They Work?
Well essentially, what differentiates a Quincy from a baseline human, is the natural capacity to interact with and to varying extents control spirit particles, which will henceforth be referred to as Reishi. This is accomplished by expenditure of Reiki, spirit energy. Reishi is produced and naturally shed by the souls of all living beings as they grow and mature. In animist worlds, they can probably also come from rocks and stuff that have spirits but, again, never tested, so not relevant to the discussion. Reiki, likewise, is produced by the soul, much like other forms of spiritual energy such as Ki, Hado, etc.
The original original Quincy Order draws its lineage from an incarnate deity, the Soul King, though the specific nature of said deity and their relation to it is variable from universe to universe. What doesn't vary, however, is that the most effective focus for Quincy powers, whether wielded by born Quincy or baseline humanity, is the Soul King's personal crest, a five-pointed cross, typically worn as a silver charm on the wrist. Through this symbol, even those without the natural propensity for such an ability can channel Reiki to manipulate Reishi.
The Quincy Order, in their native universe, were founded by a man with the dubious distinction of housing a large fragment of the soul of the Soul King, granting him great power and strange abilities relating to the forming and manipulation of Reishi. He founded the organization with the intent to protect humanity from the predation of spiritual beings that were commonplace in his world but nigh unheard of in the greater multiverse, so I shan't dwell on them for now. I will however note that, with the aid of the lovely @valorxdrive, I can confirm that Reishi-forged weaponry is effective against Heartless, should that be an issue relevant to your local slice of multiverse.
Anyway, back to the history lesson, given that, at the time, since the abilities were in their infancy, the average Quincy could hardly be expected to stand up to a race of spiritual being all but evolved to predate upon humanity, the order used their newfound powers to forge bows and arrows of spiritual energy, that they might engage their foes from a safer distance. Over time, techniques were invented that would level the playing field, such as abilities that harness Reishi to reinforce the body's strength and durability, and a variation of the flashstep, but despite this fact it remained the traditional Quincy doctrine to primarily favor bows and other forms of ranged weaponry.
But! Now that we've passed the basics of the history lesson (feel free to drop asks in my box if you want more details later) we can move on to the meat of "you keep talking about these powers but how do they actually *work*, Rose?"
Well! Simple, really, once you've got a feel for your spiritual senses (or a focus to do half the work for you). You lightly expand your Reiki into the air around you, saturating the ambient Reishi particles with it, and then you *pull* on that energy to drag the particles along with it into the desired form. Depending on the person, and with extensive practice, you might find that combining your Reiki and Reishi in the proper shapes or formulas will naturally create interesting effects. For example, in the proper ratios, my Reiki turns Reishi shadowy and causes it to take on a vaporous appearance.
Additionally, through practice, one will obtain a sensitivity to the spiritual aspects of the material plane, able to sense spiritual beings or significant expenditures of spiritual power nearby. The range of this is dependent on the person in question and the magnitude of what they're trying to sense.
That's about all I have to ramble without any prompting (again, ask box, right there :D), but as a bit of a tidbit because I know someone wants to ask: yes, you can harden things other than your skin with Reishi. No, I would not recommend trying to stand on air without extensive practice because it is very hard to get the amount of self-applied back force just right.
#feeling loopy (ic)#exposition dump#Quincy#religious iconography#((yes I'm aware this is a heavy bastardization of bleach canon#((no I don't care about that fact this is my horrific crossover sandbox and I am building the most beautiful shitty mound castle in it

What is Crystal Healing Therapy?
In an age where modern lifestyles have distanced many from nature and inner balance, ancient healing practices are making a strong resurgence. Among them, Crystal Healing Therapy has gained notable attention — not just for its beauty but for its potential to promote holistic well-being. But what exactly is crystal healing? Is it spiritual? Scientific? Symbolic? Let’s explore what this therapy truly entails, how it works, and how you can experience or even learn it yourself.
The Basics of Crystal Healing Therapy
At its core, Crystal Healing Therapy is an alternative healing method that uses natural crystals and gemstones to balance the body’s energy, remove energetic blockages, and promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. The therapy is based on the belief that crystals carry unique vibrations and properties that can align and influence the energy fields — also known as chakras — within and around the human body.
Practitioners place specific stones on or around a person’s body, typically targeting chakra points, to support energy flow and promote healing. Some crystals are believed to enhance calmness and clarity (like amethyst), while others encourage protection or emotional release (like black tourmaline or rose quartz).
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, fatigue, or emotional imbalance, crystal healing can serve as a gentle and supportive way to realign your energy.
How Does Crystal Healing Work?
Though the scientific community remains skeptical, many people who have experienced crystal healing describe tangible benefits. So how does it work?
The theory behind crystal healing is that everything in the universe, including our bodies, operates on vibrational energy. Crystals, formed over thousands of years under intense pressure, are believed to hold a stable and powerful vibrational frequency. When placed on the body or in the surrounding environment, these vibrations can interact with the energy fields (or aura) of the person, helping to restore harmony and balance.
It’s a bit like tuning a musical instrument — sometimes your body and mind need a little help getting “back in tune.” Crystal therapy can offer that gentle, energetic adjustment.
What to Expect During a Crystal Healing Session
If you’re new to crystal healing, your first session may feel like a deeply relaxing meditation or energy therapy experience. You’ll typically lie fully clothed on a therapy table, while the practitioner places different stones on your body — often along your chakras or energy centers.
The session may involve breathwork, light meditation, Reiki, or guided visualization. You may feel warmth, tingling, emotional release, or simply a sense of peace.
In Gurgaon and other urban centers, more practitioners are combining Reiki Healing with crystal therapy to enhance the results. If you’re looking for Reiki Healing in Gurgaon, you may find integrated sessions that use both touch-based energy healing and crystal layouts to optimize your experience.
Different Crystals and Their Purposes
Each crystal is believed to have its own unique energetic properties. Here are a few commonly used ones:
Clear Quartz: The “master healer.” Amplifies energy and thought.
Amethyst: Calming, spiritual growth, third-eye activation.
Rose Quartz: Love, emotional healing, compassion.
Citrine: Manifestation, creativity, and abundance.
Black Tourmaline: Protection, grounding, and removing negativity.
Lapis Lazuli: Intuition, communication, and inner truth.
Practitioners choose the stones based on the individual’s energy, concerns, or intentions. Over time, many people begin to build personal crystal collections and even learn to create their own healing grids at home.
Can You Learn Crystal Healing?
Absolutely. While some practitioners are naturally intuitive, Crystal Healing is a skill that can be learned through guided practice and study. Crystal Healing Courses are now widely available — both online and in-person — offering foundational and advanced-level training. These courses typically cover:
Crystal properties and how to choose them
Chakra systems and energy anatomy
How to perform crystal layouts and healing sessions
How to cleanse, charge, and store your crystals
Combining crystals with other modalities like Reiki and meditation
A well-structured course will also include hands-on practice, case studies, and even guidance on starting your own healing practice.
Crystal Healing and Other Holistic Practices
One of the most powerful aspects of crystal healing is how beautifully it integrates with other healing arts. For instance, many practitioners combine Reiki Healing and Crystal Therapy in one session. Reiki enhances the flow of universal life force energy, while crystals help direct and amplify that energy.
Interestingly, there is also a growing connection between Crystal Healing and Tarot Card Reading. Some Tarot readers use crystals to enhance their intuition, protect their energy, or support specific questions. If you’re pursuing a Tarot Card Course, you’ll likely find that understanding crystals can enrich your readings and deepen your intuitive abilities.
Why Crystal Healing Is Gaining Popularity
There are many reasons why crystal healing is becoming a go-to wellness practice:
Non-invasive and gentle: Suitable for people of all ages
Holistic: Addresses body, mind, and spirit
Empowering: Encourages self-awareness and mindfulness
Beautiful tools: Crystals themselves are visually and energetically uplifting
Complements modern therapies: Many people use it alongside counseling, yoga, meditation, or Reiki
In places like Gurgaon, where urban life can be fast-paced and high-stress, more people are turning to alternative healing to reconnect with themselves and find emotional balance. This is why more individuals are enrolling in Crystal Healing Courses or seeking out trusted practitioners for Reiki Healing in Gurgaon.
In Conclusion
Crystal Healing Therapy is more than just placing pretty stones on the body — it’s a deeply intuitive, energetic practice that can bring balance, healing, and insight. Whether you’re exploring it for personal wellness or considering becoming a practitioner, there’s no better time to start.
If you’re curious about how to use crystals, integrate them with Reiki or Tarot, or begin your own healing journey, I invite you to explore my holistic learning programs.
Whether you’re seeking Crystal Healing Courses, Reiki Healing in Gurgaon, or even a beginner-friendly Tarot Card Course, my offerings are designed to nurture your growth with care, clarity, and deep intention.
Join me — Garima Goyal — and unlock the healing wisdom of crystals, energy, and intuition.

That time Togashi sneaked in a same-sex Soul Bond romance in Shonen Jump, in 90's uber-conservative Japan 😆❤️❤️
Somebody give Togashi a friggin' award for the Sneakiest Genius to ever Sneak, coz I'm not even kidding, he straight out created Kuwameshi as a Soul Bond romance in the subtext of YYH, where he tells us the real story is hidden! 🤩🤣😍
Full meta's on AO3 with proof points & screenshots, but here's the teaser!
When put together, Yusuke 幽助 and Kazuma 和真 means Souls (幽) in True Harmony (和真) who Help (助) each other which our heroes continually do throughout canon!
Kuwabara's last name is drawn from the Japanese phrase "kuwabara kuwabara" くわばら くわばら to ward off Lightning aka Bad Things like death, danger and bad luck, but written with the characters for Mulberry Field 桑原 instead, and GUESS WHAT - Mulberry has Divine significance in Japanese culture, is associated with the Sun God (Kuwa’s Reiki is Gold, like the sun), and items made from Mulberry wood are traditionally gifted to Japanese royalty, which Yusuke turns out to be!
Yusuke literally gets struck by Suzaku's lightning, tortured and nearly killed the minute he's separated from Kuwa in 4 beasts arc - more signs that Kuwa really is Yusuke’s Divine Protector who's been warding off lightning (Bad Things) from Yusuke just by being there, and their separation has immediate catastrophic impact on Yusuke coz Yusuke's not yet strong enough to fend off these threats on his own!
I know Togashi claims he came up with the Mulberry Field 桑原 characters for Kuwa's last name by combining characters from baseball players' names, and he very well may have done so, but considering the depth of Mulberry references throughout canon that we'll see in the full meta, you be the judge whether Togashi was also thinking of Mulberry's connotations when he picked these characters! Especially since at the end of the manga, there's a lot of seemingly throwaway lines about how both the Sky and the Sea are the same blue color, and how Yusuke told a half-truth about his real reason for picking the blue button in the 3-buttons mission! (This deserves its own meta another time!) I read this as 4th wall hint that Togashi was drawing from both Mulberry's divine symbolism and baseball players' names when he picked the characters for Kuwa's name, but he told a half-truth that he was only thinking of the baseball players! 🤣
Given the double Divine Protector symbolism in Kuwa's last name (from lightning ward and Mulberry) and the True Harmony meaning of his first name, Kuwa's literally made by his creator to be Yusuke's Divine Patron Saint who protects Yusuke from Bad Things coz Kuwa's in True Harmony (True Love) with Yusuke!
I read Yusuke's Good Luck in his fights throughout Genkai's succession trials as Kuwa's High Reiki unconsciously or semi-consciously increasing Yusuke’s Good Luck to save Yusuke from death or serious injury, as per the mini meta in the End Notes of The Good Fight Chapter 7!
Even if you choose not to take this read, who can forget Kuwa's SOUL literally left his body to save Yusuke from the demon fish in Rando fight? 🤯
Seriously, I L❤️🔥ve Togashi's audacious True Harmony soul bond subtext! 🤣
There’re SO MANY times when Yusuke's opponents are outright surprised that Yusuke somehow has Reiki reserves when he shouldn't have any left, or they straight out say Yusuke's protected by stronger Reiki than expected (e.g. Rando fight, Suzaku fight, Toguro fight) - I read this as canon BOTH foreshadowing Yusuke's Mazoku heritage AND hinting that Kuwa's protecting Yusuke as his Divine Patron Saint by contributing his Reiki to Yusuke through their True Harmony Soul Bond connection!
Of course, this can be read as just Yusuke's Mazoku heritage giving him deep Reiki reserves & protection, but consider this! Yusuke's Mazoku Reiki is Red! In all these instances when Yusuke has unexpected Reiki reserves, his Reiki is BLUE!
Guess what else is the exact same blue? Kuwa's SOUL is literally blue when he saved Yusuke from the demon fish in Rando fight, and immediately afterwards, Yusuke escapes the demon fish in a spectacular explosion of Blue Reiki, the same color as Kuwa's SOUL! We only see Kuwa's Soul return to his body after Yusuke escapes!
In final Toguro fight in the Dark Tournament, after anime Yusuke fires his last Rei Gun and has no Reiki left, Hiei tells us Rei Gun's power is still going after leaving Yusuke's finger! There's a mysterious background music when this happens, and key characters look surprised! I read this as Kuwa (who was playing dead 🤣) contributing his Reiki to Rei Gun!
Their Reiki literally becomes ONE after Kuwa gives his lifeforce to save Yusuke post Suzaku fight as per the pics at start of this post! and it's Gold, Green, and Blue to represent Kuwa, Yusuke, and their Soul Bond respectively! Reiki is basically the energy of your heart, spirit and SOUL, so this is canon visually showing us they have a True Harmony Soul Bond! Just look at how epic our heroes are with their ONE Reiki!
Greek culture even has a star-crossed lovers story associated with Mulberry trees (which inspired Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet), where the lovers are thwarted by family circumstances, life-threatening danger, bad timing, and one party jumping prematurely to the wrong conclusion, which then leads the other party to follow suit -- all these elements appear in the Kuwameshi Love Story! Proof points in full meta!
The COUNTLESS times Yusuke and Kuwabara are in sync and mirror images of each other, and how they’re literally Two Souls in One Body when Yusuke possesses Kuwa’s body pre-revival, and then One Soul in Two Bodies for the rest of canon when Kuwa stands with Yusuke through thick-&-thin, and Yusuke follows Kuwa's moral code right back, eventually setting up the Makai Unification Tournament with Kuwa's 1-1 fight code, which prevents an all-out war, all its unnecessary bloodshed, and brings about Peace!
Preventing a war that's hundreds of years in the making is as good as Divine Intervention warding off catastrophe, just like saying "Kuwabara Kuwabara" wards off death and lightning strikes!
Even birds as symbol for Kuwameshi romance has Divine connotations in real-world Japan!
Sacred Mulberry wood symbolically expels evil in real-world Japanese rituals, same as how Kuwabara (literally Mulberry Field) expels the "evil" of Yusuke's inner demons from Yusuke's heart, the inner demons being Yusuke's distorted view of himself as a "bad, violent, good-for-nothing fuck-up unworthy of love", deep emotional pain, anger, and self-loathing.
There's even a manga pre-revival story (the 2 female best friends) that parallels this! Not to mention Kuwa literally manifests his Gold Rei Ken for first time using a broken piece of Musashi's wooden sword made from sacred wood!
And in the manga pre-revival story of the Old Man & the Raccoon, a wooden branch prevented the trap from closing fully around the raccon, thus preventing death or serious injury, foreshadowing how Kuwa likewise prevents the trap of the Dark Tournament from closing fully around Yusuke, preventing death of Yusuke's SOUL and True Self! Sacred wood, divine providence, and soul references abound throughout canon! Deets in full meta!
Given the massive weight of evidence that we see in the full meta, what else is Togashi showing us, other than two lovers forging a Soul Bond and becoming ONE?
What is True Harmony, other than another way to say Soul Bond?🤣
If you'd like to read how our heroes forged their Soul Bond in an Alternate Canon fic which has no constraints on what we can show in the main text, try The Good Fight on AO3! Most chapters have End Notes that gush about the canon subtext that inspired it!
If you're as intrigued by canon subtext as me, read the full meta for the mind-blowing depth and details! As always, meta is based on the canon versions that hew as close to original Japanese canon as a non-Japanese speaker can get!
Now on to the mind-blowing symbolism of Mulberry (kuwa 桑) in Kuwabara's last name!
#kuwameshi#yyh#kazuma kuwabara#yusuke urameshi#yu yu hakusho#kuwabara#kuwabara kazuma#urameshi yusuke#yusuke#kuwameshi meta#yusuke x kuwabara

Amethyst: Meaning, Benefits, Uses & How to Buy Online

Amethyst is one of the most enchanting gemstones in the world of crystals and astrology. Known for its captivating violet to deep purple hues, Amethyst has been revered across cultures for thousands of years. At GemAstro.com, where we specialize in natural, non-treated, and astrologically significant gemstones, Amethyst holds a special place for its spiritual, emotional, and metaphysical benefits.
Whether you're drawn to it for its spiritual energy, protective aura, or simply its visual appeal, this comprehensive guide will walk you through everything you need to know about Amethyst: its origin, healing properties, astrological significance, and how to select a high-quality piece online or from our trusted showroom in Chandni Chowk, Delhi.
What is Amethyst?
Amethyst is a semi-precious gemstone that belongs to the quartz family and gets its distinctive purple color from traces of iron and aluminum in its crystalline structure. It ranges in shade from light lavender to deep violet and is typically transparent to translucent in clarity.
This gem has long been considered a symbol of peace, clarity, and protection. The name "Amethyst" comes from the Greek word “amethystos,” meaning "not intoxicated," as it was believed to prevent drunkenness and overindulgence. In Vedic astrology and Western crystal healing, Amethyst continues to be a favored stone for enhancing mental clarity, intuition, and spiritual growth.
Amethyst is primarily mined in Brazil, Uruguay, Zambia, Madagascar, and parts of India. Each origin offers unique color variations and quality standards, with Zambian Amethyst being among the most valued due to its rich purple hue.
Astrological Significance of Amethyst
In Vedic astrology, Amethyst is considered a substitute stone (upratna) for Blue Sapphire (Neelam) and is associated with the powerful planet Saturn (Shani). It is often recommended to individuals for whom Blue Sapphire may not be suitable or who are undergoing the period of Sade Sati, Dhaiya, or Saturn’s Mahadasha.
Wearing Amethyst is believed to balance the influence of Saturn, helping the wearer overcome mental stress, delay in career growth, relationship problems, and obstacles in life. It helps pacify Saturn's harsh effects and brings stability and spiritual awakening.
Zodiac Signs that Benefit from Amethyst:
Capricorn (Makar Rashi) and Aquarius (Kumbh Rashi) – Ruled by Saturn, natives of these signs can benefit greatly from Amethyst's stabilizing influence.
Virgo, Gemini, and Libra – Depending on individual horoscope charts, astrologers may also recommend Amethyst for enhancing focus, mental clarity, and inner peace.
As with any astrological remedy, it is advised to consult a certified astrologer before wearing Amethyst for planetary alignment and personalized guidance.
Benefits of Wearing Amethyst
Amethyst is not only visually mesmerizing but also one of the most powerful gemstones in terms of metaphysical and healing properties. At GemAstro.com, our certified, natural Amethyst stones are chosen for their vibrational purity, ensuring you receive the full spectrum of benefits.
1. Mental Clarity and Emotional Balance
Amethyst is widely known for promoting calmness, clarity, and emotional healing. It helps reduce anxiety, stress, and negative thinking. Those dealing with mental overactivity, insomnia, or emotional turmoil often find comfort in Amethyst's soothing vibrations.
2. Spiritual Growth and Intuition
Often referred to as the "Stone of Spirituality," Amethyst enhances meditation, strengthens intuition, and facilitates deeper spiritual awareness. It is especially beneficial for those engaged in yoga, reiki, or meditative disciplines.
3. Protection from Negative Energies
Amethyst acts as a natural protective shield against negative energy, psychic attacks, and harmful influences. It is a powerful tool for those who work in high-stress environments or deal with emotionally draining people.
4. Enhancement of Creativity and Focus
Writers, artists, and creative professionals find that Amethyst boosts concentration and unlocks creative potential. It can also be useful for students and professionals who need heightened focus and decision-making skills.
5. Support for Health and Wellness
Though not a substitute for medical treatment, Amethyst is associated with several health-related benefits. It is believed to support the immune system, improve hormonal balance, aid in digestion, and reduce symptoms of anxiety and insomnia.
How to Use Amethyst in Daily Life
Amethyst can be incorporated into daily life in several meaningful ways:
Wearing Amethyst Jewelry
The most common way to benefit from Amethyst's energy is by wearing it as jewelry—rings, pendants, bracelets, or earrings. When worn regularly, it keeps the calming and balancing effects close to your body, particularly around the crown and third-eye chakras.
Meditation and Energy Healing
Place Amethyst crystals on your forehead or nearby during meditation to deepen focus and calm the mind. It is frequently used in energy healing, chakra balancing, and reiki practices.
Home and Workplace Décor
Amethyst geodes, clusters, and tumbled stones are often placed in homes or workspaces to enhance peace, creativity, and harmony in the environment. Keeping an Amethyst stone on your desk may also help you stay focused and grounded.
How to Wear Amethyst for Astrological Benefits
For astrological purposes, wearing Amethyst correctly is essential to maximize its planetary benefits. Here's how to wear it the right way:
Metal: Silver is most preferred for astrological purposes; alternatively, white gold can also be used.
Finger: Middle finger of the working hand (right for men, left for women).
Day & Time: Saturday morning during the Shukla Paksha (waxing moon) is considered most auspicious.
Purification Ritual: Before wearing, cleanse the stone by dipping it in raw milk and Gangajal (holy water) for 15–20 minutes.
Mantra to Chant: "ॐ शं शनैश्चराय नमः" (Om Sham Shanaishcharaya Namah) – chant 108 times to energize the ring.
How to Identify a Genuine Amethyst Stone
Due to the popularity of Amethyst, many synthetic or heat-treated imitations exist in the market. It's crucial to understand how to recognize a genuine, high-quality Amethyst, especially when buying online.
Color and Clarity
Authentic Amethyst will have a natural violet to purple hue that is evenly distributed. While it may contain minor inclusions, it should be free from excessive cloudiness or bubbles, which are common in synthetics.
Origin and Source
Zambian and Brazilian Amethysts are among the most reputed varieties. At GemAstro.com, we source only ethically mined Amethysts from verified suppliers.
Certification
Always ask for a gem lab certificate verifying that the stone is:
Natural
Non-heated
Non-treated
Origin-documented
GemAstro.com provides government-recognized certification with every gemstone to ensure authenticity and transparency.
Caring for Your Amethyst Stone
Amethyst ranks 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it relatively durable for everyday wear, but proper care is still essential to maintain its beauty and energy.
Avoid direct exposure to harsh chemicals such as perfumes, detergents, or chlorine.
Store separately in a soft cloth or box to prevent scratches from harder stones like sapphire or diamond.
Clean regularly with mild soap and water. Avoid ultrasonic or steam cleaners for untreated stones.
