Wanderer was not the type of guy to show his true emotions to just anyone. Even despite you two being in a romantic relationship, he still had that spiky exterior acting as a shell. He did not want to show his weaknesses to you either.

As of late, however, you both began having your own agendas. You started staying at school longer in order to study in the Akademiya, and he was set out on missions from Nahida. Sometimes he was gone for weeks, months, without ever seeing you. For the times when he was at home with you, you were either attending school or studying at home. There was barely any time left for both of you to pay attention to each other.

That was definitely not good for the relationship.

Overtime, the two of you began to be more distant. It wasn't intentional, of course, but that wasn't a good enough reason. Despite Wanderer’s denial, he had to admit he missed you. Even if you were a big idiot who was ignoring him and wasting away to study. He was done being patient, he was going to get your attention again.

It was the end of the lecture you attended and you exited the building with a fatigued sigh. It looked as if a zombie walked out of a classroom. With heavy eye-lids you dragged yourself towards the nearest library to study whatever you learned at the lecture, much to your displeasure. You were tired; it felt like you had been walking in a daze within the hell of learning. Part of you wished to procrastinate more, but you had too much work to resolve first. Luckily for you, your boyfriend had other plans for you.

“Y/n,” You heard a familiar angry voice call out. Slowly turning around you saw Wanderer hover a few inches above you with his arms crossed with his signature frown.

“Ah. Wanderer. Long time no see,” you have him a small grin and a wave.

He huffed, landing gracefully before walking towards you. “Enough of this.”

‘Enough of this’ could mean many things, is what you thought to yourself. You couldn't understand why Wanderer was acting the way he was so all you did was tilt your head. “Huh?”

“Don't ‘huh’ me!” Wanderer scoffed, roughly placing his hand on your chin. He squinted his indigo eyes to inspect the very much dead eyes of yours. “You look like you’re dying.”

“Thanks for pointing out the obvious,” you joked, trying to lighten the tense aura that he was giving you with a nonchalant, tired smile.

He let out a noise akin to a growl, then swiftly picked you up bridal style. Startled, your eyes widen as your feet leave the ground unexpectedly, your arms flailing for balance. Your mouth formed a silent 'O' of surprise as you were lifted into the air, your heart racing with the suddenness of the gesture.

You looked into his eyes out of curiosity, only for his sharp eyes to glare daggers into yours. If you squinted, you noticed a slight blush appearing on the puppet’s cheek as he lifted you and flew the two of you towards your house, completely ignoring the surprised gasps from the scholars below.

“Are you-” 

“I'm not doing this for you,” Wanderer interrupted curtly, not bothering to maintain eye contact. “You studying simply is not helpful to me right now.”

Averted gaze, tsundere behavior…That's when things clicked for you.

Wanderer was having his little touch starved moments, wasn't he?

A smirk crept its way into your mouth. You speculated that the distance between you two bothered him after being so close before. In an attempt to save yourself, you buried your face into his neck.

“What do you think you're doing, idiot?” Wanderer demanded, his face flushing crimson. His expression of shock lasted only a moment before he discerned that you were laughing, evident from the sudden jump of your shoulders and the muffled chuckles.

It took you a moment to respond as Wanderer landed at your shared home and peeled you off him. “I'm sorry- I just find you silly.” You laughed more when Wanderer crossed his arms in response.

“Whatever weirdo,” he opened the door and dragged you in the house. 

Once he let go of you, you took off your shoes and thanked him for the ‘ride’. Walking to the living room, you sat on the couch and smiled, patting the seat next to you.

Wanderer gave you the stink eye, switching his gaze between you and the spot next to you. “No.”

“Aw, why not?” You feigned a pout. “I could be studying right now, but you dragged me here! For what? Nothing?”

“I have my reasons,” he said in irritation.

“Okay but surely you want something from me, no?”

That smirk on your tired face, why did it have to look so hot to Wanderer, not like he would ever admit it. He wanted your touch, much to his dismay, so he decided it was best to indulge in your little tricks. With an exasperated sigh, he made his way towards the couch and sat next to you with a frown.

“There we go,” your soothing voice whispered as you tenderly encircled your arms around his waist. Warmth enveloped Wanderer's chest and face, feeling the comfort and love you offered. It was embarrassing for him after months of distance, yet also rejuvenating, akin to a spring.

Slowly, Wanderer allowed himself to melt into your embrace with his arms crossed and his head resting upon yours. “I love you, idiot.”

Mikoto really likes it when you rest your head on his lap.

He likes how you wrap your arms around his waist and just contently smile as you lay your head on his thigh. It’s embarrassing on his part though.

Each time you do this, a flutter of happiness blossoms within him.

He thinks you are so adorable!

He hopes you’re comfy though…

Sometimes he would instinctively start playing with your hair. There is just something soothing about it that relaxes the craziness within his head.

He chuckles as you doze off, and will affectionately poke and prod at your soft cheeks. 

Kisses on the forehead are also a common gesture, but he does it even more when you lay on his lap.

John at first hates the fact that you feel comfortable enough to lay your head on his lap. Do you not realize he could kill you so easily? Besides, he isn’t Mikoto, just his alter ego he created due to stress. You should reserve your affections towards Mikoto, not him.

For a while he would shove or kick you off of him, then walk away to commit atrocities.

After a while you still were so insistent on laying on his lap!

When you manage to lay your head on his lap, he would constantly whisper threats into your ear (he does not mean those threats).

It would take him a while to adjust to the comfort and love you provide to him. After all your effort, it would be… disrespectful to deny you. After all, he thinks you’re pretty cute on his lap.

No he did not send you a blow kiss when you slept on his lap. That’s cringy.

Third Person POV

"Shinju wa hitori dewa deki nai~" a man hummed happily underneath the sunset of Yokohama. It was quiet where he was. No cars, no people, just him on a pier over the water.

The pier was high above the water. The salty breeze tickled his nose and dances around his coat. The waves cascaded on the waves repeatedly, creating a soothing ambiance as the man stared into its watery depths. The water constantly moving, never still...what if he went in?

"Oi, Dazai. What are you doing here? Trying to do another attempt?" Another voice remarked.

The said man, Osamu Dazai turned around to look at the shorter male. His face was enigmatic, as if contemplating his decisions in life. "What do you want, Chuuya?"

"I was gonna clear my mind but then you're here," Chuuya growled, placing a hand on his hip as he stood besides the brown haired man. He kept one hand on top of his hat, making sure it doesn't fly away from the violent wind.

"Ew. A slug is next to me," Dazai dramatically gagged, acting  as if he was going to barf.

Chuuya side eyed him, too tired to deal with  dramatic suicidal maniac.

"Oi, bastard."

"What do you want, hat rack?"

"Tch," Chuuya refrained himself from lashing back, despite his muscles really wanting to punch the other man in the face. Dazai just smirked at him. "That new girl in your agency...what's her name?"

Oh? That was something Dazai did not expect Chuuya to ask this soon. Dazai smirked, placing his elbows on the rail as he gazed at the painting of warm colors in the sky.

"Didn't think you had nice taste in women, Chuuya." Dazai said humorously. "Well, her name is Y/n L/n. Quite the beaut, I'd say so myself. She's the new therapist assigned to work for our clients in the detective agency."

Chuuya hummed, his deep voice catching onto his throat slightly as his blue orbs stared at the water. The sunset seemed to melt into the ocean, adding a tint of orange upon the water's surface.

"That so? Good to know," Chuuya muttered pensively.

Dazai side glanced Chuuya, quietly observing his features as he figured out the meaning behind them. "Ah. Shortie has a crush now? Oh wow, and here I thought you were married to wine!" He said in a silvery tone.

"Says the suicidal mackerel," Chuuya retorted, feeling his patience slowly dissipating. "So what if I find someone attractive!"

"So you do admit~" Dazai let out a light hearted chuckling, making Chuuya jump away in disgust.

"How about we make a bet, hm?" 

"Bets with you would be the death of me," Chuuya muttered, glaring daggers at Dazai. To the taller man, Chuuya looked like an angry Chihuahua.

"A challenge then. Wine will be the prize~"

"...What is it?" The ginger grumbled, taking off his hat to place it over his chest as he turned to look at Dazai's profile.

Dazai looked back at Chuuya with a shit-eating grin that made Chuuya want to kick him into the water. The wind made both of the men's hair flutter gently at the rhythm of the breeze.

"I'll make her fall in love with me in 15 days or less!" Dazai smirked confidently.

"Oh yeah? As if I'd let you!" Chuuya stomped his feet like a child, looking pissed at Dazai's challenge. 

Chuuya's response only make Dazai' grin bigger and much more irritating.

"The timer starts tomorrow at eight in the morning. Good luck! You need it since you don't have her contacts~~~ Ack- Chuuya you're chocking me!"

"Kinky bastard, give me her number," Chuuya growled. He kept his gloved hand grasped tightly around Dazai's collar as he stared into Dazai's dead eyes.

"Ahaha. Left my cell phone in my house, aka trash can~!"

And overwhelming about of disgust crashed onto Chuuya, causing him to let go of Dazai.

"You dirty bastard! Nasty! No wonder you get rejected so often."

Megumi Fushiguro x gn reader

Synopsis: Just the day before, Megumi hugged you after a dangerous mission and now you can’t let go of the thought.

There your brain went, wild and running in circles as if it was drunk. You were not dizzy, far from that, but your mind couldn't seem to separate itself from one simple interaction. A hug from your crush, Megumi Fushiguro, from the day prior.

You woke up in your dorm in Jujutsu Tokyo High, thoughts of the hug flooded your mind almost instantly. You clung into your sheets as a blush formed across your face. It was the first time Megumi hugged you yesterday. At that time, you had just come back from a dangerous mission, one that could have easily killed you. As you were making your way back to Gojo to tell him your mission report, Megumi rushed over to you and embraced you with a tight yet warm hug.

The surprise you felt, the confusion. You remembered how tightly he was holding you. His body pressed against yours, his rapid heartbeat beating against yours, how his hands resting on the back of your back trembled ever so slightly. You recalled how his face was buried into the soft part of your shoulder. His deep, warm breath tickled your neck, sending unexpected shivers down your spine.

Though if you were able to recall it correctly, such warm intimacy only lasted for a few seconds.

Megumi, being the reserved and aloof man he is, automatically separated himself from you. How he was acting at that moment confused you. His actions, how his face was turned to look away from you when he usually looked into your eyes, the slight pout in his lips, a pink hue that painted across his face. Your eyes widened, heart skipping a beat when you realized that he was…blushing? A man like him, embarrassed?

You remembered how he muttered his relief for your safety. "I see you made it back in one piece. Good. Not that I cared much." Such words from his mouth caused you to blush slightly yourself, not that you would ever admit it.

Then you remembered how he turned away, as if nothing had happened. No hug. No feelings of embarrassment. 

You remembered how you stood there, not knowing what just happened. At one moment he was affectionate, more humanlike than usual, then he would go back to being aloof and distant. His mysteriousness always left you dazed, wanting to know more and more about him.

You hurriedly sat up upon your bed, your thoughts halting for a moment. With tense muscles, a rapid heart, and a flushed face, you tried to rid yourself from any thoughts of Megumi. Any.

In the process of doing so, you paused to look at the corner or your bed. That's when you recalled the meaning of his name. Megumi, Japanese unisex name for ‘blessing’… Your eyes scanned the walls of your room, looking at nothing in particular as you involuntarily entertained the thought some more. Blessing… That was what Megumi was to you. You cringed at yourself, shuttering at how cliché that was.

“Get a grip, Y/n!” You muttered to yourself, throwing your back onto the soft cushions of your bed. You curled your legs to your chest, clawing at your head with your hands in the process to prevent any more thoughts of said man. “Just one hug and now look at me… It’s all his fault.”

“Hey-“ a voice called out randomly, causing you to flinch in surprise. That’s when you realized it was Megumi’ voice, the realization frustrated you, thus you covered your ears.

“Damn. I think about him and now I hear him? Why brain, why? Why do you live playing tricks on me?” You whined, kicking the bed a little to emphasize your frustration. You were done with such pathetic thoughts.

“Um…What?”

“Oh shit.” It really was Megumi after all.

“School started thirty minutes ago. Gojo-sensei asked me to wake you up, so get up you goober,” Megumi grumbled, causing you to blush.

With one swift motion, you sat up and rolled off your bed, landing on your feet with grace. “Yeah yeah, I’ll get ready if…”

The black spiky haired boy looked at you in confusion, waiting impatiently for you to finish your sentence. “If what?”

You greeted him with a warm smile, which made his heart flutter. Step by step, you approached him at a leisurely pace. When you reached a close distance, you enveloped him in a tight embrace, nuzzling your face into his chest. His eyes widened for a moment before he tenderly stroked your head with a hint of reluctance.

“Don’t get used to this.”

After I’m done with the little one shots I’m planning on writing a short series of a Kaveh x Reader x Alhaitham university au. Unless it changes, the story would be called ‘The Geniuses’ Silly’. This is because I intend for it to be a comedy of some sort.

I’ve recently been obsessed with reading those sagau (self-aware Genshin alternative universe) x reader stories, specifically the ones where the characters go to our modern world. I want to make a series of it after I finished all of my one shots, however I don’t think I want to add all of the Genshin men (the fatui other than Scaramouche and Childe).
