Here's an entertaining slice of Batman history from 1966! In this three-panel comic strip, we get a classic early morning Gotham City chase scene. The Dynamic Duo are in hot pursuit of Catwoman at 5:41 AM (because crime never sleeps in Gotham!), with the Batmobile racing through the sleeping city.

What makes this particularly interesting is that it's from the vibrant 1966 era of Batman (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman), when the comics took on a more playful, campy tone. You can see it in Robin's classic "Holy handcuffs" exclamation - these kinds of "Holy" catchphrases became a signature element of this period (https://13thdimension.com/the-exact-issue-when-batman-66-took-over-the-comics/)

The strip gives us a perfect snapshot of the classic Batman elements: Commissioner Gordon coordinating from his office, the iconic Batmobile in action, and of course, the pursuit of one of Batman's most enduring villains, Catwoman. The dialogue is delightfully dramatic - "Catwoman is a wily witch" is exactly the kind of line that made this era so memorable!
