day 9 and 10 baby!! ive been drawing so much recently and i think i feel a sort of burnout coming so uhm. thats wonderful. but ill try and persist and finish stickmintober impossibly late because i refuse to give up. school is starting soon though so these drawings will be slow sorry!!

anyway. for day 9 i interpreted the jewels as kids - specifically, henry’s kids, and in the drawing theyre arguing over whos henrys favourite. i think they would definitely be little rascals - i mean, look at their dad/old family (the toppats). i made their ages based off of when henry got them, so diamond is oldest, ruby is the middle child, and emerald is youngest. also, theyre all adopted since theyre all different nationalities - diamond is tunisian, ruby romanian, and emerald norweigan, as stated in the games.

for day 10 - im not sure if dave x charles is a rarepair, but i havent seen a lot of content for them - ive seen two oneshots max. anyway, i think theyre pretty cute together, and since they were the most rarepair-y ship that i could see myself shipping, i decided to draw them! yes, i know theyve never met, but if they met i think they would definitely like eachother. i do still ship polythreat/stickvin but i am, after all, a multishipper.

Supercorp head canon: Lena does not grocery shop. Lena Luthor actually, is not entirely sure how grocery shopping works. In theory? Yes…but like she has never done it. Which is a fact she just keeps to herself. Once when Ruby was a five, Sam asked if she could pick up more milk on her way over…and Lena completely gave a group of teenagers a one hundred dollar bill, with the provision if they brought her a gallon of 2% milk they could keep the change. (She heard one of the teens ask if they should call someone for that nice lady?)

Kara meanwhile loves food shopping. It was one of the first Earth activities she really figured out and loved. And not like in a “she gets whatever she likes way.” No, she loves budgeting, comparing price per ounce, stuff like that. It’s one of the few times the Danvers didn’t mind her doing complex math in public. So yeah, on Sunday morning? Kara treats herself, buys a lil drink, and goes shopping.

And when she starts dating Lena, she assumes it would be utterly normal to invite her girlfriend to come. Except, apparently it is not. Lena cannot handle the grocery store. She is so confused. For instance, Kara mentions having brought coupons and Lena smiles in a way that suggests…Kara may have momentarily spoken Romanian. Finally, beside the dairy fridge, Kara asks: have you ever done this before?

And Lena Luthor must admit: no. No. The Luthor said food shopping is a staff activity.

Kara raised her eyebrows. A staff activity? She asked.

Yeah, Lena said, like cleaning the bath tub…or walking the lizard.

Kara readily does believe she wants to marry Lena one day, but there are moments she forgets Lena grew up around unfathomable wealth and status. She starts to get on her middle class high horse…until she remembers Lena was really just raised in a family that occupied the Earth equivalent space of the house of El. And so Kara slowly dismounts her high horse. Turns to her girlfriend, and begins to calmly explain how one should and should not grocery shop.

At the end of the trip, Kara suggests Lena select a candy bar from the shelf at the checkstand. And Lena gets so giddy, Kara’s heart melts.

• Before Sanji could say a word Zoro slammed his hand over the blondes mouth quickly.

• "Madam Dracule" He said formally and bowed respectfully

• His whole crew stiffening at hearing the formal use of your name.

• Sipping your tea you raised a brow at Zoro as he bowed deeply to you. You knew he respected you just as much as Mihawk- the wife of his teacher as well as one of his teachers as well since you did assist in training.

• "Zoro, My dear child what brings you and your friends here?" You ask calmly, setting your tea aside as you felt the shift of the room.. they were nervous.

• "We came here to ask you-" The sound of the door slamming open shook them as they heard heavy footsteps walk to them. Revealing the man of the home, Mihawk. Wet from rain and pulling his hat from his head with a stoic frown

• "Dragă (Darling), What is this?" Mihawk questioned as he returned to his island home to see a familiar pirate ship docked and his Pupil on their knees before his wife. Paired with the group of familiar pirated standing in his livingroom.

• "I am not sure yet love, We were just about to discuss it" You say softly, standing up to gelp him take off his sword and coat. Already feeling his eyes following you as you did this-

• Both of you knowing it was an excuse to touch him.

• "We wished to temporarily barrow your ruby necklace Madame." Zoro said still bowing formally

• Mihawk's eyebrow twitching at hearing this-

• "You wish for my wife to give you her necklace?" He said as his eyes narrowed down at them.

• "J-Just for a little bit Sir!" Nami said, feeling anxiety wash through her system.

• "My Love" You cooed, reaching a hand over and touching the side of his face. Immediately it was like dealing with a feline, Leaning into your touch as he gave you a warning glare.

• "Barrowing a necklace is so minor compared to us at that age. Remember Cohi Island?" You purred, Mihawk giving a subtle growl in the back of his throat. "Ah Cohi Island, How can I forget?" He all but purred out.

• The two of you reminiscing as Mihawk began to place kisses up your arms as you pulled him close and whispered sweet sensual words and memories to him.

• "A little necklace won't be much trouble, Especially since it will be returned~" You whispered in his ear

• The poor strawhats subjected to the very outward affection of the Warlord. It was quite a unpleasant experience for them all-

• Mihawk unclasping the necklace with his teeth before tossing it at Zoro who quickly caught it. The Warlord glaring at his Pupil lazily

• "It will be returned' He said stoically, before returning to his task at hand.

• You wave them off, Smiling softly as Mihawk leaned into your neck to lay kisses and love bites.

• Zoro bowing again quickly as he held the necklace and the youthful pirates quickly filed out of the castle as fast as possible. Zoro still clutching the gemstone

• "Holy fuck! She literally got Hawkeye of all people to give you the necklace!" Usopp said in shock as Zoro nodded. Nami's eyeing that diamond necklace

• "Yes but it must be returned-" He stressed. Not being stupid enough to let anyone steal from his mentor or his wife-

• The group nodded and looked out at the raging storm that beat against them.

• "Well it's raining maybe we can ask for a room-" Usopp started but Zoro quickly shook his head, His face pale and eyes like he was living through War Flashbacks.

You should totally pose for him like that, wearing everything he got you and the most intricate and ornate of dresses he got you. Caius may be known as the painter of the three but he can still try. Though no painting or picture could ever do you justice.

Lovesick Aro who pampers you daily. He loves to brush your hair and upkeep your makeup, even if it is just your lip balm. Let him bathe with you in bubble baths and rosewater, let him care for you please.

Lovesick Aro who loves physical touch. Not many touch him winningly now because of his gift, but the man gets butterflies every time you kiss. Stroke his hair, hold his hand, kiss his cheek and interlock your arms. He adores it, plain and simple. His day is made when you lay with him, he has hearts for eyes when you rest your little head on his chest. He could ascend from just holding you close to him, truly.

Lovesick Aro who, despite already being a little bit insane, would absolutely lose his shit if anything were to happen to you. I mean it in every sense of the word when i say he would go ballistic, rampaging and murderous through anyone innocent or guilty, friend or foe, anyone who was in his path and blocking him from getting to you. When it comes to the case of the Romanians or any other potential wars, you will be promptly taken out of any nearby country and sent to the other side of the world with the best of his guards. He would rather die and not have their help than leave you without at least three.

Lovesick Aro who worships thee ground you walk on. Human or vampire, you are the most amazing thing to ever exist in his eyes. Anything to get you to smile at him is on his mind constantly, from fresh flowers and expensive trips out, to quality time in comfortable clothes. His main love languages are physical touch and quality time, and he could almost cry from the peace he feels just spending some much needed quiet time with you.

Rwby headcanon #6

All of the team strq can speak multiple languages, and they did this only so they could understand what the other was saying, so if their fellow teammate was talking crap they could call each other out on it. Though summer was the only one who didn't learn her teammates' languages in this way, she mainly learnt them so she could bond with the others.

Nowadays they don't use the languages they learnt respectively to do that kind of thing anymore, tai and qrow actually taught yang and ruby how to speak there native languages later in life, now ruby and yang use it to mess with their friends

MerMay Sticks or Something I Guess?

I saw somewhere that May is MerMay month, where you draw mermaids and stuff? So I thought I'd try making some mersticks for the fun of it. It took a long time to get a good design but I eventually found something that actually looks pretty good! If it looks familiar, it's because I based it on some art made by Noir Jung (you can find their twitter here)! Anyway, enough gab, here's the art:

They're supposed to be doing that "Spirited Away Holding Hands while Falling from the Sky" thing, which... wouldn't really make sense since they're underwater? But oh well, we can just pretend they're floating down into the abyss, or spinning around in a whirlpool or something. RHM gets dark gray/black scales while Reginald gets coppery scales, like his name! I probably should have found a way to give them their hats, but I was way too proud of this piece to add anything else. Happy MerMay!

Panprice Week 2024 Day 4!

"Angst"

TW: Mentiouns of G*n Violence and bl00d.

(This story takes place during the PBT Ending)

[Rupert's POV]

I knew it was a bad idea to put a criminal to fight against other criminals, now we were fighting the Toppats in the middle of the desert after that bastard decided to go rogue on us and steal the Romanian Ruby from them, not that I was complaining, I much rather being on the battlefield than in that helicopter.

As I was shooting some Toppats I saw someone running through the corner of my eye, I didn't recognize him at first due to all the time that had passed but when I looked more carefully there was no doubt on who it was, Dave, the very reason I even joined the military in the first place and he was right there in the middle of the battlefield, I didn't question what he was doing there and instead immediately started shooting at the Toppats that got too close to him while trying to get closer myself so I could hopefully lead him somewhere safer. However as I was approaching him I noticed someone shooting in his direction, to my surprise it wasn't a Toppat shooting at him but one of my colleagues who had probably confused him for a Toppat trying to escape the battle.

"Wait! You're making a mistake!" I shouted, but the sounds of gunshots and battle drowned my voice, when I noticed that the guy wan't going to stop anytime soon I ran towards Dave, hoping to shield him with my body instead so the bullets didn't hit him, I had been searching for him for far too long to lose him now!

But I wasn't fast enough.

The bullet hit him by the time I had finally reached him and all I could do was hold him as he fell.

"No, no dammit! Don't you dare die on me Dave..!" Those were the only words that came out of my mouth as I desperately tried to think of a way to save him, eventually I ripped a part of his uniform to try and use it as a bandage in the meantime so he didn't bleed out.

"Hold on Dave please! I already lost Johnny I can't lose you too!" I thought, seeing how much blood he was losing made me even more desperate than before so I carefully grabbed him and tried my best to get him to a medic somewhere, there had to be way to save him right? I saw some of my colleagues start to cover me while also calling out for a medic.

Eventually the medic arrived and we ended up once again travelling in a helicopter to get to a hospital to save Dave as soon as possible, I hated it but was the only way to potentially arrive in time, however having to stand idle again just forced me to think about what just happened.

"You were late to save him again." "It's all your fault, you should've watched out for him more." I tried to shove away those voice away but I just couldn't, it didn't matter how aware I was that I did what I could to help him I still believed I should've done more somehow, he was the only thing that kept me going after all...

I paced around endlessly as I waited in the hospital, not knowing whenever Dave would make it or not had me on my nerves and my thoughts weren't helping either.

"If you had made sure he checked the package that time then he wouldn't have gotten fired and gotten a job as a security guard, that way he wouldn't have gotten kidnapped by the Toppats nor would he have ended up caught in the crossfire!" I shook my head, there was no way thinking about what ifs would help me at the moment, plus if there's someone to blame for this theres only one person... Henry Stickmin, the guy that escaped that prison in the first place, stole that diamond and went rogue on us in that airship, if he didn't do any of that then Dave would've never been in the Hospital in the first place!

My thoughts were interrupted by the light sound of the door opening, I saw the doctor, the neutral expression on her face didn't help ease my concerns.

"How is he?!" I asked, my emotions making me ask it louder than I wanted to.

The doctor simply nodded and I could see a slight smile forming.

"You may go see him now."

I immediately headed inside, when I saw him sitting I could feel the relief course through my body but I still got beside him as quick as I could.

"... Rupert?" He said, his voice was a bit weak from having just recently woken up, he looked at me confused while I hugged him carefully not to hurt him on accident, seeing him there alive and well made me tear up, I hated being vulnerable like this but I couldn't help it and cried on his shoulder.

"Daveyou'reokayohmygodIwassoscaredIwouldloseyouohmygod." I felt Dave slowly and gently put his hand on my shoulder as I sobbed, I really hated the fact that he had to see me like this but his comfort made me feel a bit better about it.

"H- hey Rupert... It's okay, I- I'm here..." He tried his best to comfort me with his words and I made an effort to stop my neverending tears to look at him in the eyes.

"I missed you so much..." I whispered as to not let my tears get the best of me again.

"I missed you too." He responded with a gentle smile.

FINALLY I'M DONE geez this took a while, I'm blaming my procrastination for this/j. Originally I was planning to kill off Dave but I felt lazy kind so have this instead lol.

Not sure why I started shipping Gremlin and Ken but I guess there doesn’t need to be a reason to ship characters. I think just because they seemed cute. Though they’re closer to platonic life partners.

ARIADNE (the puppeteer, fickle sister, wistful lover)

a/n : here are some lore about one of my ocs for my twilight saga fic series. for the sake of fitting the narrative, there are some aspects from canon that has been modified such as timeline, characterizations, locations etc.

BACKGROUND

she had been nameless when he found her, or maybe she did have one but the transition took too much out of her. it stripped her of her mortal memories, of her identity. so marcus named her ARIADNE after the princess and goddess.

she has no recollection of her human life and has no interest on learning of it due to how uncomfortable the topic makes her close companions feel.

she is aware that she was born around 1100 BC and was turned by Marcus when he found her supposedly on the brink of death, he was the one to bestow her the name that she still uses until this day.

it didn't take long for her to discover her gift, Physical Compulsion which allows her to control the physical actions of others. her victims still retain their awareness even while obeying her orders. this ability of hers had earned her the moniker of The Puppeteer.

though she maintained a good relationship with a good majority of the Volturi's members, she was closest to Sergio and Matthias, both who were also sired by Marcus and therefore were viewed as her elder brothers.

as one of the early members of the Volturi, she was a part of every single major battles that the coven had gone through in order to become the governing power of their species.

in 600 AD, after the war against the Egyptian Coven, she found her mate in Demetri who was quickly accepted into the Volturi due to his advanced tracking gift. unfortunately his entrance into the coven led to the defection of Matthias who refused to be replaced as the main tracker of their coven.

when Aro brought back the witch twins in 800 AD, she became their main caregiver, responsible for their education and upbringing alongside her mate.

following the death of Didyme in 1000 AD, she joined the secret investigation to find the true culprits of her maternal figure's death. due to the sudden departure of Sergio who was leading the investigation, the case remained without any definite answers which left her frustrated for a very long time.

the year 1300 proved to be the most interesting when a young witch by the name of Castor Santos marched into the Volturi headquarters and demanded to be turned into a vampire because he was getting sick of the rules of his witch coven. due to his young age at the time, Aro decided to have him fostered until he was older. Ariadne and Demetri were assigned with this task thanks to their experience with many newborn vampires. surprisingly they enjoyed the task and actually view the boy as their own child. unfortunately, tragedy struck when the strays of the Romanian Coven launched an attack against them. this resulted in Castor having to be turned at sixteen instead of the initially plan to wait until he was at least twenty-one. His transition brought forth the existence of witch-vampire hybrid. he left the Volturi around 1500 with the intention of travelling to which he was given permission to do so.

everything went on rather smoothly since then, with only a couple of hitches here and there which were easily handled.

her life took a turn once more with arrival of Carlisle Cullen during the 18th century.

IN ORBIT AU

"i gave you a choice," she whispers, her voice soft and quiet and sad. hesitantly, she places a hand against his cold cheek and he turns to look at her, ruby eyes filled with so much hurt that it makes her heart weep. "i'm sorry that it was taken from you."

she left the Volturi along with Carlisle and began the journey of vegetarianism which she struggled with a lot. she had asked Demetri to leave with her but he refused, mainly due to Chelsea's influence. they separated on less than pleasant terms to say the least.

almost a century after leaving Italy, she decided to set out on her own in order to find the whereabouts of her brothers. unfortunately she found nothing and returned to Carlisle after a few decades to find out that he had turned a boy into a vampire in her absence. she was unimpressed.

she remained with the Cullens every step of the way since then to make sure they remain in line. she often found herself frustrated with Carlisle's lenient method of raising his family but rarely voiced out her opinion mainly out of respect for him.

her favourite of the Cullen children is Jasper ─because she can relate to his struggle in transitioning to animal blood─ while her least favourite is Edward ─initially due to his mind-reading gift which she believed to be invasive, but later on it's because he kept making horrible choices in life.

while living with them, she took the chance to further her education in many fields; psychology, history, arts. she avoided medicine at all cause.

the discovery of shape-shifters fascinated her, unfortunately their hostility towards vampire kind didn't allow her to learn about them deeper.

when the Cullens returned to Forks for the second time, she decided to not work, choosing to help Esme around with whatever chores she had.

within the first week of them moving back, she met with a newly phased Sam Uley who had gone into their territory without knowing. she helped him with his first transformation and it was during this moment that they both found out that she was his (platonic) imprintee. it caused some problems.

she was more supportive of Jasper's relationship with Eloise Lewis (oc) than she was with Edward and Bella's. this is mainly because Eloise was a witch who was aware of the supernatural world while Bella was just a normal human. however, she was not against it as much as Rosalie was because she understood the fact that they were mates. but, she was very much against Edward's insistence on keeping her human, seeing it as a threat to the family's safety.

note: in this au, the story line doesn't really change much other than the addition of witches into the twilight saga universe. ariadne completely cut herself off from the volturi here and only got involved with them again due to what happened in new moon.

NATURE'S LAW AU

her light hair acts like a halo hanging above her head. for a moment he thinks he is looking at an angel. but he knows that's not true, it can't be. because this woman, this ancient vampire who is smiling so kindly at him has spilled more blood than he ever thought possible.

she still left the Volturi. but instead of following Carlisle and cutting off all contact, she left centuries before he even came to them and still maintained a good relationship with the coven. Demetri didn't follow her still, but they visit each other regularly so everything between them was well.

she left because she no longer saw any reason to remain there. all battles have been fought and there were no longer any coven that were even close to them in terms of power, everything was at peace. so she left when Castor decided to start travelling.

Aro was not the cause of Didyme's death in this, so there were no secret investigation held because her death didn't happen in the dark like it did in canon.

while she had removed herself from the Volturi's inner circle, she was still an active figure in the supernatural world as even those of other species reached out to her for help and guidance sometimes.

she maintained the usual human blood diet and was against the whole vegetarianism in vampires, viewing it as harmful to their health. but she wouldn't go out of her way to shame those who chose to consume animal blood at their faces, most of the time at least.

note: ariadne in this au is much more confident than the one of "in orbit" au. both of them are still kind and all but this ariadne is not afraid to voice out her opinions or resort to violence as an answer. kind of excited to start writing this one because it has a whole lot of (made-up) lore and world-building.
