Imagine your city is fucking gone. Really sit with that thought. Let it germinate within your mind. It's no longer there. The streets you lived in, where you played with your friends as a kid, where you fell in love. Gone. It's a pile of smoking rubble. It's not there. You can't go back there. It's not there. It no longer exists. This is what russia did to Avdiivka. This is what they did to Bakhmut earlier, and to many other cities and towns. All because Western aid is being stalled. Because a lunatic religious fanatic is the Speaker of the House, and his party is full of self-serving traitors to the country. Because Polish farmers are blocking transit of important military aid at our border. Because all of you drank up russian psy-ops like thirsty wanderers in the desert. Because we gave away the weapons that could've prevented this to the perpetrator of this, in exchange for a deal to "guarantee our sovereignty" which one of the signatories broke and the other two are afraid to fulfill.
So sit with that thought now, and draw conclusions, and be better, and do whatever is in your power to prevent it from happening in the future, because if they aren't stopped in Ukraine, they won't stop with Ukraine. Do everything you can, so that the thought is a hypothetical, not a premonition.

You Are Not Obligated
Nobody is obligated to speak about Palestine. Nobody is obligated to speak about Ukraine. Nobody is obligated to talk about ANY political issue. If you don't want to talk about any of these issues because it is too distressing for you, you are valid. You are NOT complicit, you do NOT have blood on your hands. Do not let those toxic assholes on Twitter or other sites tell you otherwise. They're abusive, and they want to control you. Your mental health comes first. Is this about ignoring these issues? No. This is about the fact that nobody gets to decide what YOU post.
This is not even mentioning that, realistically, those politicians up at the top don't give a shit about us whether or not we agree with them. We are merely a bunch of little pawns to be be used by them. They don't give a shit, and they will ignore us. Either that, or they will abandon us once they decide that our usefulness has ended. This is not a nihilistic view. This is a realistic view.

OK, so I've been seeing MULTIPLE posts on my dash about Palestine and I'm thinking, "Yeah, but what about Ukraine? Don't any of us still care about them?" Keep in mind that Russia and Iran are allies.

[ 📹📸 A Russian military transport plane, was in the process of flying 65 Ukrainian POWs to a location in the Bolgorod oblast to facilitate a prisoner exchange when it was shot out of the sky by Ukrainian missile, killing everyone on board.]

UKRAINIAN MISSILE SHOOTS DOWN RUSSIAN MILITARY TRANSPORT PLANE FILLED WITH ITS OWN POWs
74 are dead, including 65 Ukrainian POWs, after a Russian military transport plane being used to facilitate a prisoner exchange scheduled for Wednesday was downed somewhere over the Bolgorod region of the Russian Federation, near the border with Ukraine. The prisoner exchange has since been called off by Russian authorities.
In an article published by Ukrainian Pravda, a Ukrainian news periodical, a source is cited as saying that the aircraft was downed by Ukrainian forces near the border with Russia's Bolgorod region, however they have since retracted the source, and are now claiming they cannot confirm the news. The Russian authorities have since confirmed that the plane was in fact downed by a Ukrainian missile, likely using either an American Patriot air defense missile or a German-made Iris-T.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Russian authorities say that the crash took place at approximately 11:15am (local time), when a Russian Il-76 military transport plane filled with Ukrainian POWs was downed near the Bolgorod region.
“At about 11:00 Moscow time, an Il-76 plane crashed during a scheduled flight in the Belgorod region. On board there were 65 captured Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen, <including> six crew members and three accompanying persons,” the statement says.
In its statement, the Russian Defense Ministry slammed the missile strike, declaring the "Kiev regime committed a terrorist act" in downing the military transport.
According to Russian sources, the aircraft had been en route from the Chkalovsky military airbase in Moscow, and was shot down by air defenses stationed somewhere in the Kharkov oblast in the northeast of Ukraine, killing everyone on board.
The Russian and Ukrainian authorities had agreed to conduct a prisoner exchange later on Wednesday, with the exchange set to take place near the Russian village of Kolotilovka, also in the Bolgorod oblast, close to the border with Ukraine.
A second military transport aircraft carrying some 80 Ukrainian POWs was turned around before reaching the danger area, and was successfully diverted to another airbase after news of the downing reached Russian authorities.
The Ukrainian officials have so far refused to comment on the crash, remaining mum as news of the event spreads, although Andrey Yusov, a spokesperson for the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) confirmed a prisoner exchange had been scheduled for Wednesday, adding that the exchange has since been cancelled.

"None of it makes sense unless you understand that it is a politically incoherent expression of a desire to go back to a better time," Ian Garner (a historian and expert of Russian war propaganda) says.
This is not about communism but this is about to restore the glory of Russia, to make Russia once again have a place in the world (I'm not supporting Russia okay).

After seeing Westerners bully a 14-year old boy from Odesa for not wanting to potentially interact with people who are committing genocide of his people on twitter, I felt compelled to return to that hellsite for a while to write a thread to explain why we might feel that way. Here it is, I feel it might be useful for those who don't understand why we're like this when it's "not all russians":

What is next for the Ukraine-Russia war and if Ukraine can win this war?
Tumblr media
Right now, there is too much chaos and major things are happening behind the scenes in Ukraine. Time is tough for them but they are being led somewhere where they will find balance in their situation. Their leader Zelensky has the capabilities to speak and motivate others to give them what they are asking. They will receive multiple things especially what they need but it could be delayed. The government and people need to learn from their past mistakes. I see more changes in their governance and authority. There will be a moment when everything will stand still and chaos will embrace the country but they need to stay strong again. It is all happening for a reason because they are working hard for their freedom and they will be rewarded. They have carried enough on their own and the support is coming through. They are moving towards their freedom.
Will they win this war?
According to the cards and their current energy- A BIG YES.
