Can you imagine if we get Bi Buck and confirmation of his feelings for Eddie and eventually get confirmation of gay or bi Eddie who's been in love with Buck the whole time!!!???!!! That Eddie has been pining the whole time but never said anything cause he didn't think Buck was gay or bi and was afraid Buck wouldn't feel the same, etc so he pushed his feelings away?! Or at the very least is still pining for Buck secretly even though he thinks nothing could ever possibly happen between them???!!!

And then imagine if we get Eddie being extremely jealous of men being into Buck and then seeing Buck and other men flirt!!??!! We've seen jealous Buck and jealous Eddie before but somehow I feel like the jealousy would be top notch to see play out and would be different in a sense cause Buck's romantic interest would be a man instead of a woman. I hope and strongly think we are getting Bi Buck and I love it, but I also really really hope for a gay or bi Eddie who's been pining from the start. THAT WOULD BE AMAZING!!!!!

Notes: hi hi i tried to use american terms like mall and mom, but i am not american and i say mum, so if you notice any slip ups pls let me know and i will change it. I feel like it would be weird to picture chris saying mum in an american accent so i tried to only used mom   Also i have started watched the walking dead and am obsessed so pls feel free to request some fics for the walking dead (i’m halfway through s7)

When you and Eddie started dating, you waited quite a while before meeting Chris as you wanted to be sure in your relationship so as not to unsettle Chris. After about 8 months, you were pretty sure Eddie was it for you, and you eventually met Chris. Within 6 months of meeting Christopher you had pretty much moved in with the boys, and when the lease on your apartment was up for renewal Chris was the one who suggested you move in. That was over a year ago and since then the three of you had been living life as a happy little family. 

Today, you had a day off from work but Eddie did not, so you had decided to take Chris out for the day. For weeks, Chris had been saying his shoes were starting to get tight so you had decided you would take him to buy some new shoes and buy him a couple extra treats. It wasn’t often you and Eddie weren’t both at work at the same time, even if you didn’t have the same shift, you often overlapped so Chris would spend time with Carla.

Eddie was at work before you even woke up, so you and Chris had a slow morning before heading to the mall. The car journey was filled with music and laughs, you loved spending time with Chris and you guys always had an amazing time. 

Once you got to the mall you found yourself chasing Christoper, the shoe shop was all the way on the other side of the mall so you had decided to do fun shopping first. The first stop was at the ice cream parlor, and then the two of you made your way quickly over to the lego shop. You both bought a lego set, as you planned to watch a movie and build lego together in the afternoon. Once the pair of you had gone to all the shops you wanted to, you slowly walked back to the car, trying to agree on a movie to watch while you were building your legos. 

You were nearly at the car, when the ground started to rumble. Small tremors weren;t uncommon living in LA, but this was not that. The slight rumble turned to full blown shaking and the lights in the parking garage started to come loose and smash to the floor. You quickly dropped your bags and grabbed Christopher and headed for the car, it might not have been the smartest idea but in your panic it seemed like the safest option if the garage was to crumble. 

Somehow, you managed to get to the car in record time as you were opening the door, you noticed a piece of debris falling and you quickly pushed Chris into the car. Within seconds of you getting Chris safely into the car, the debris had come down, knocking you down in the process. You hit your head on the concrete and briefly lost consciousness, but you quickly came around to the sounds of Chris’s cries. 

“I’m here Chris, I’m okay,” you mumbled as you tried to wriggle free. Although, your right leg was trapped under the piece of the parking garage that had knocked you to the floor.

Not long after you regained consciousness, sirens were all you could hear and it became nearly impossible to keep your eyes open, and you were soon consumed by the darkness.

“Cap, get Eddie over here!” You heard being yelled from close by. Squinting at the bright light you started to blink your eyes back open and were met with Buck’s face looking down at you. 

“Chris, is Chris okay?” you forced out, your throat was hoarse and felt as though you had woken from a deep sleep. You could feel yourself being rolled onto a stretcher, presumably to move you to an ambulance, or at least a safer area. 

“Chris was with you?” Buck panicked. 

“I think I got him in the car,” you coughed, “Check him first.”

A couple minutes later you heard a car door be forced open, and then Buck’s shouts. 

“Chris!” Eddie’s shouts were so loud. He had arrived onto the scene and saw Buck carrying Chris over some rubble away from the car. You turned your head slowly and saw Eddie embrace his son tightly. 

“Where’s Y/N?” Eddie suddenly asked. The panic in his voice was palpable.

“Over here,” You heard Buck’s voice get louder as he led Eddie to you. Eddie placed Chris down next to your stretcher and cradled your face.

“Baby, are you okay?” he questioned, whilst scanning your body for any obvious injuries. 

“My leg got crushed but I’m fine. How is Chris? Is Chris okay?” you spoke so fast. 

“I’m fine,” you heard Chris speak. You could have cried with relief upon hearing his voice. You had seen Eddie carry him, but hearing him speak and confirming he was okay made you so happy.

“Now, let get you taken to hospital, Buck can you take Chris to Athena and get her to call Carla please,” Eddie said as he began to wheel you out of the area. You saw Buck begin to usher Chris towards Athena who you could see a while away directing people. 

“No.”

You and Eddie both stopped and looked at Chris who was avoiding Buck and walking towards the two of you. 

“Chris, bud, y/n is okay. Your dad is just making sure she gets her leg checked out,” Buck tried to convince Chris.

“No,” Chris shook off Buck’s arms and carried on walking in your direction. Eddie sighed, letting go of your stretcher and turning to Chris before squatting down to his level while holding onto him. 

“Chris, I need to take y/n to get checked out. Can you please go with Buck?” Eddie begged.

“No.” Chris was being stubborn. 

“Chris please,” Eddie was starting to get desperate.

“I want to stay with mom.” Chris yelled. 

You, Buck and Eddie all went still. Suddenly, the atmosphere had changed. Chris had never called you mom before. The three of you all looked at each other in shock unsure what to say or do next.

“Come here Chris,” you beckoned the boy, before helping him to sit on one side of the stretcher after you had collapsed the arms, “You can stay with me.”

Eddie was still looking at you in shock, starting to feel love swell in his chest. The idea that Chris saw you as a mother figure made him so happy. 

“Chris, it looks like your dad is frozen,” you laughed whilst looping one of your arms around the boy. You had managed to get him in a place where he wasn’t near your leg which was causing excruciating pain. 

This brought Eddie out of his shock and he walked over to the two of you.

“I love you both so much,” he breathed as he leant to kiss both of your foreheads, “Let’s go get mom all checked out.”

i'm seriously living for oliver and ryan's renewed friendship. the ig stories, the likes and comments, interviews, pictures taken by oliver for ryan... really giving me life tbh (forever grateful for it) and s7 is gonna be ryan and oliver more than eddie and buck. i can feel it in my bones.

so i'm back? maybe? weird ramble under the cut

so... it's been 18 months.

lots has happened, which you might know if you followed me on twitter before i bowed outta there lol. i got engaged, i got a cat, i'm converting to judaism. i moved house. i'm doing fine <3

and i've really missed legends?

i haven't watched it since cancellation, not a jot, and i watched a lot of other shows since, and i tried branching out original writing, but i had the inspiration to write some more fanfic a few months ago and i've got it again now, and i just - i really miss legends.

i left tumblr one month to the day after cancellation because, frankly, tumblr was giving me massive amounts of anxiety. i worried Constantly about getting called out or getting misinterpreted - which was made 200% worse at the end of s7 because the baby and the renewal campaign got kind of divisive, and i knew i was going to have to quit for my own mental health, so ... i did. and it was a really good decision.

but all other social media just seems ... not for me, and i miss the community on here, and i miss reblogging gifsets and making my little textposts and coming up with silly headcanons, so - i'm back

and it's no secret that - i mean the fandom is gone, right? not totally - and i'm so excited to see everyone who's here - but there just aren't as many people, and that gives me a sense of peace. it doesn't feel so high stakes anymore. and the renewal campaign is over, so that's not something i worry about anymore.

i'm setting myself some boundaries. 1 - if this becomes another source of anxiety for me, i'm leaving lol. 2 - i'm shutting my ask box whenever i want, and i'm not answering asks if i don't want to. 3 - i'm moving this away from being a totally legends blog, bcos there's other good tv shows lmao. 4 - i'm going to be talking more about original writing. fanfiction is still really fun for me, but i want to do Something original, just once in my life.

entertain us with some headcanons?

uh, okay let me see:

after their first kiss mickey was overthinking and wondering if ian liked it, during their "sleep over" at mickey's house he probably looked at ian a hundred times because he wanted to kiss him again so bad but again, he didn't know if ian liked that first kiss so he was scared. but ian noticed that, ian could almost sense his doubts so he just kissed him again.

ian secretly writes poetry and i think he does because he has a very rich inner world, he's emotional and he's so connected with his feelings and emotions, so i think poetry feels right to him for that. and because it's a way to identify and understand even better his own emotions.

everyone finally saw mickey's soft side, they saw that side in little details of his marriage with ian, the stuff that didn't happen when they were alone. they finally saw that every armor or wall falls when he's with ian, that he would leave everything and risk even more for him. and they won't tease him much about it but mickey would still try to appear tough half of the time.

mickey and ian sing and dance a lot in the kitchen, no one knows this and it's just their silly thing. and they also usually have the same song stuck in their head.

mickey steals Ian's clothes CONSTANTLY and ian pretends to get mad but he loves it because adores how mickey smells.

ian thought about going to mexico after he left mickey at that mexican border, he considered the idea of looking for him.

mickey wrote letters to ian in s6 when he was in prison but also when he was in mexico, he never sent them. both times because he thought that maybe the best thing was let ian move on even if he couldn't do it.

mickey organizes the bday parties of their future daughter

they absolutely renewed their vows

ian is the one that surprises mickey in their second wedding anniversary. and it will become a tradition.

mickey hates pickles

ian definitely asked mickey when he knew he was in love with him

ian is a hopeless romantic and when mickey was in prison in s6 until he escaped in s7 he just wanted to be loved like that again, he wanted that passion, that breathtaking thing but there was always something missing.

mickey likes hickeys but blushes every single time ian makes sure it's visible and everyone teases him about it.

even if the misspelled ian gallagher tattoo happened in s6 when it was too hard for ian to see mickey and he wanted to move on so it wouldn't hurt anymore, ian adores that tattoo so much and thinks the cutest and most romantic thing.

ian likes to say "honey, im home" just to see mickey roll his eyes

Every time I see another show get renewed I get aggravated we haven’t heard about S7. Normally it’s far too early to worry about such things. But this isn’t a normal tv season. Also a lot of shows have been renewed early on so far from other networks and some on ABC. We’re only 3 eps in so I know I should be more patient. I have a good feeling we will get this announcement. But does anyone have any insight on what the holdup for S7 announcement is? It’s been their top streamer for Hulu almost every week this season. It’s a popular veteran show. Feel like that makes it a no brainer IMO.

Should I just chill and be more patient? Its not my strong suit LOL Also this mini hiatus has my brain thinking extra on things I probably shouldn’t. Haha I know part of this is just me overthinking things. *sigh* Just needed to rant and see if anyone in this lovely fandom of ours had any TV insight to why ABC dragging their feet with it. You may now go back to your regularly scheduled scrolling. 🙃

With ABC making the decision to renew Abbott Elementary less than one week after it's Season 3 premiere, I think @northern-neighbor might just get her wish and we'll see a S7 renewal announcement for The Rookie just as quickly.

Abbott opened Season 3 on Wednesday with an hour long episode and drew in 2.8 million viewers watching live.

I have no doubt The Rookie will at least match, if not surpass, those numbers. And with them both being ABC shows, it seems the network is wanting to renew series quickly and get a fall line up going now that television is back in business.

They separate to get the bad guy and then after the suspect is arrested Lucy sees Tim from across the street and yells Hey Bradford YES!!! This is inspired by STVOY.

*I would like to hear more about Lucy's background, especially the rebellious stuff she did.

*Have Tim tell off Vanessa Chen

*See Tim and Lucy move in together maybe buy a house.

Right now I'm still living in the hospital scene from 6x04. That scene left me so emotional and was so beautifully done.

I looooove the Chenford dance in 6x02 as well. I'm thrilled we got ILYs from them early in the season because I think that really laid the foundation for whatever is coming the rest of the season for them. And the ILYs were wonderful, however, I really hate that Tim's ILY got accidentally spoiled for us. It would've packed such a bigger punch had we not known it was coming. But I'm still so happy we got it.

I also loved the 17st place adorableness!

As for S7, my biggest hope is that we GET one. 🤞 Come on, renewal! After that, I hope they continue to do bigger story arcs like they're doing this season, giving plots and scenes a chance to breathe a little. I know it's their style to pack so much in, but sometimes it feels like whiplash keeping up with everything in an episode!

In addition:

Chenford proposal/moving in together. As much as I love Lucy's apartment, I think it's time for Tim and Lucy to find a new place together. Logistically, they can build a new set for them, and either Tamara can move in, too, or just visit on occasion.

KOJO-where are you, boy? Bring him back! The fact that we've seen ASHLEY interact with Kojo more recently than LUCY doesn't sit well with me.

Give Baby Girl Evers a name!

I REALLY want to see some more group scenes where they are hanging out together off duty, and if we get a full 22 eps, I feel there's more chance to do that. It doesn't have to be action all the time. Let this group have some fun! They've earned it.

More Genny! And it would be interesting to bring Lucy's parents back at some point, too.

I need a scene or two of Tim and Lucy in bed, either going to sleep or waking up, just cuddling together. PLEASE. And maybe a couple of passionate moments? Look, Wopez got to have their hot make-out sesh in the storage room. Can't Chenford have a moment in Tim's office?? I also want to see Tim come up behind Lucy at home and wrap his arms around her waist.

Lucy's career to have some kind of progression. I think we'll get some of that by the end of S6, but I want her to be able to explore some different avenues and find something that she truly loves and is good at, hopefully putting this whole UC trajectory behind her, which seems to be where they're headed.

Tim to call Lucy by a term of endearment/nickname. I'm still hoping for "baby".
