Anyways, I don’t wanna give TOO much away because she’s half of the main focus of the mini comic me and @fowlaroundtown are currently making but let’s just say home girl has been through the RINGER!!

Oh and side note. Pronouns were TRICKY on this one. Cause this Raph is trans-femme but didn’t figure that out until she was in her 20s. So I just used He/him on the 14 year old side cause she hasn’t figured it out yet??? OH WELL!!

It truly was a scene out of a fairytale. Amira, dressed in a beautiful green gown with matching makeup, carried a basket brimming with Ferrari cupcakes. Little did most people know that her true passion lay in baking.

With an exuberant grin, she entered the paddock and spotted Lewis and Fernando. Skipping over to them, she called out, “Lew-Lew, Nando. Guess what?” The two men exchanged grins, eagerly asking, “What?” Amira proudly presented her cupcakes: one adorned with a tiny racing helmet for Nando and another shaped like a car for Lewis. Their awe was palpable as they stared at her creations. “Go on, try them,” she urged, nervously playing with her hair.

After the first bite, the two world champions showered her with praise. With kisses on their cheeks, Amira sought out her other friends. Max, Key, and little P were next. P, with her innocent curiosity, asked, “Aunty Ami, what’s in your basket?” Amira replied, maintaining a serious tone, “Well, my lovely gato, this magical basket holds cupcakes for you, your Mama, and your Papa.”

Kelly and Max, overhearing the sweet exchange, approached. Max hugged Amira tightly, while Kelly planted a brief kiss on her forehead. As she distributed the cupcakes, they all savored the magical treats. Max leaned down to Penelope’s height and whispered, “At least one of your Mamas can bake.” making him share a meaningful glance with Kelly.

After a sweet goodbye and a promise for dinner this weekend Amira ran to Kika and Pierre. Before she could run too far, a pair of strong arms picked her up from the ground. She immediately realised who it was. "Pierre, let me down" she laughed. Kika and Pierre were giggling with her, immediately crowding her against the wall. The two of them really had no limit. After sharing two kisses with Kika and Pierre on the lips, because according to them this is how close friends greeted each other in France and Portugal, she told them a bit breathless about her creation. "Oh Babygirl, you are truly an angel" whispered Pierre in her ear while Kika slowly kissed her neck. Pierre took a bit of the cupcake cream, smeared it on Amiras lips and kissed it off of them. "Mmmmhhh, amazing" he whispered. He held the cupcakes up for Kika, who did the exact same thing. While Kika was cleaning Amira from any excess creme (kissing her breathless) Pierre brushed his hands over her body and kissed her temple.

Before the situation could escalate anymore, the little group got interrupted from Pierre team principal. "You know, babgirl. If you come over to us tonight, Pierre and I can show you the real way to use whipped cream in the bed" Kika said to her with a predatory glint in her eyes. "The real way?" asked Amira naively. "Ohh amour, we have a lot of learning to do."

Amira, having settled down from her playful escapade with Pierre and Kika, continued distributing cupcakes. As she encountered George, Alex, Lily, and Carmen, she offered each of them a sweet treat along with a warm hug, saying, “One for you.” Lily couldn’t help but exclaim, “This girl is too good for this world,” a sentiment echoed by the other three.

Amira followed the same approach when giving Oscar and Lando their cupcakes. However, the two papaya drivers weren’t willing to let her go so easily. They convinced her to play a round of Monopoly, which was really just an excuse to keep her company.

As for Carlos and Charles, after the race, they discovered picture-perfect cupcakes waiting in their drivers’ room. Attached were two heartfelt notes. If the two of them shed a few tears after reading Amira’s encouraging messages, well, that was their little secret.

“Happy birthday!”, Jake whispered-screamed as soon as you opened your eyes. You smiled, stretching your body on your bed. He was sitting on the edge of it, holding a little box onto his lap while smiling at you.

“You didn’t have to buy me anything, babe”, you mumbled in a hoarse voice. Jake rolled his eyes as you sat on the bed, now facing him. Your eyes were swollen along with your cheeks and he found it adorable.

“Let me spoil my girl, hm?”, he said in a cute tone before leaning in to peck your lips. You rolled your eyes but didn’t say a word. It doesn’t matter how many times you tell Jake to wait until you brush your teeth, he’s always gonna steal a little good morning kiss.

“You spoil me every day”, you chuckled, rubbing your eyes. Jake smiled, caressing your messed-up hair.

“True”, he shrugged. His free hand deposited the little box on your lap, smiling. “Open it.”

You sighed, breaking the delicate ribbon on top of it apart. You opened the box with care, afraid you’d ruin anything inside of it.

“Holy shit”, you mumbled as your eyes fixated on the ring inside of the box. It was a Tiffany & Co platinum ring, covered in stuff you hoped were just random beads instead of diamonds. “Jake, that costs my left kidney!”

He laughed, shaking his head. “Money’s not a problem and you know it, silly.”

“Yeah, but...”, you shrugged. “You shouldn’t spend so much money on me, Jakey.”

“Why not?”

“‘Cause... I’m not that worthy”, you laughed. Jake frowned.

“Don’t say that, not even as a joke.”

You pouted, placing the ring on your finger.

“I’m sorry. It’s beautiful, Jakey. Thank you so much!”, you said in a cute tone, throwing your arms around his neck. Jake chuckled while circling your waist and pulling you upwards. The sudden change of position made you a little dizzy and you whimpered.

“You ok, love?”

“Yeah, I just got a little dizzy”, you explained with your eyes closed. Jake caressed your back, waiting for you to feel better again. When you tapped his shoulder, he let go of you and the both of you got out of your bedroom, ready to make breakfast.

“Sit down, I’mma make some pancakes for my birthday girl!”

“Happy birthday, babygirl!”, Chaewon chanted as you walked inside the classroom. You smiled and happily accepted her hug.

“Thank you, my love”, you muffed against her hair.

“Did you have birthday sex already?”, she asked funnily. You let go of the hug, laughing and slapping her arm playfully.

You walked towards your spot, placing your bag on the floor. Chaewon walked behind you asking “huh?” repeatedly like an excited puppy.

“No, pervert”, you responded rolling your eyes. “It’s eight a.m., chill out.”

“Plenty of time for a quickie”, she shrugged.

“God, why are you acting like a man?”, you laughed. “He made me breakfast and gave me... this...”, you said, casually showing the ring.

Chaewon’s jaw dropped at the sight of the pretty ring on your finger.

“What the fuck, did he propose or something?”

You laughed out loud as Chaewon held your hand and took a closer look.

“No! He just gave it to me as a birthday gift. I’m thinking about putting it in a necklace, so I won’t lose it during my shifts at the coffee shop.”

“That’s kinda adorable, not gonna lie.”

“Why?”

“You’re clearly falling harder for him”, she shrugged. Your cheeks got hot as you looked away, collecting your hand back to your torso.

“Ay, come on...”

“Y/n”, Chaewon chuckled, sitting next to you. She turned your stool in front of your usual laboratory counter, making you face her. “It’s great that you found love. Your ex-boyfriends were such jerks, you deserve someone like Jake.”

You sighed, pouting.

“I’m afraid things are gonna go way too fast. I mean, we’ve been living together for the past year, I’m afraid we’re gonna jump some steps and go straight from friends to a married couple.”

“Stop overthinking, girl. Things happen at the right time, hm?”

You nodded, knowing she was right. Nothing’s gonna run out of control, right?

“God, why does this smell so strong?”, you mumbled behind your mask.

Jay turned around, facing you confused from his counter. You haven’t been around formalin since your third semester, but now it smells so much awful than you remembered. Your eyes were burning — so was your nose —, your throat felt dried and your head was about to explode.

“What’s wrong with you today?”, Chaewon asked almost whispering, worried. “You’re like... Super sensitive out of nowhere. Last week you almost threw up.”

“I don’t know, I think I’m not used to that anymore. I like Petri Dishes, not dissecting stuff freshly pulled out of formalin!”

“Ladies, eyes on your project”, the teacher chanted with no emotion. You sighed, rolling your eyes.

“Y/n almost passed out during class today”, Jay commented during your break. You put your phone down after texting Jake about your location — the poor boy began making an effort to eat with you and your friends during lunch. “She almost turned green.”

“Stop being so dramatic, Jongseong”, you groaned. “I did not, it was just a little bit of sensibility over the formalin’s awful smell.”

Yunjin raised her eyebrow at you, not buying that. You ignored it, stuffing your mouth with a red velvet cupcake.

“I thought you hated red velvet-flavored cake”, she commented, completely out of the blue.

“Who hates red velvet?”, Sunghoon interrupted her thought. “It tastes like chocolate, it’s just... Red.”

“I don’t hate the batter, I hate the oily filling.”

“It’s not oily!”, Chaewon replied, almost offended. “It’s deliciously moist!”

“Hm, I don’t think so”, you shrugged.

“And still you’re going downtown on that poor cupcake”, Yunjin scoffed. “Are you pregnant or something?”

You choked — and so did Jay, for some reason.

“Are you crazy, Huh Yunjin?”

Chaewon gave your back soft slaps, trying to help you. You chugged a bit of your strawberry milk, eyes almost teary.

“I’m just saying, my aunt was the exact same way. Eating random stuff she usually didn’t like, over sensitive to smell, her hair looked thicker and prettier...”

“I’m gonna consider just the compliment”, you mumbled. “I’m not pregnant.”

“Ok, if you say so...”, Yunjin shrugged.

“But it would be so cute”, Sunghoon mumbled in a quiet tone. You kicked him under the table — and so did Chaewon. “Ow! Why are you hitting me?!”

“Probably because you deserve it”, Jay stated with a shrug.

The pregnancy topic didn’t show up again during that break, however, your mind ran a thousand miles away trying to remember when you had your last period.

Your boss gave you a free afternoon as a birthday gift, so you sat home completely bored for a while after having lunch with Jake. Jake gave you something else as a gift as well, but you couldn’t fully enjoy it because of the new paranoia Yunjin installed in the back of your mind.

Having too much of your own thoughts and not paying attention to the TV show playing on the screen in front of you, you unlocked your phone. Your hands were shaking as you looked for the app you used to control — or try to —  your period. The gray letters said the worst sentence you could read: missing by eight days.

“Fuck”, you mumbled, slapping your forehead.

You had nothing going on your mind before that morning, mostly because your periods never got to the point where they would naturally regulate themselves. Sometimes you wouldn’t bleed for three months and then you’d be like a fountain for almost a whole month. That’s life, right?

After ten minutes of dissociation in front of the TV, you sighed and got up. You grabbed your keys and your wallet before going out of your apartment. You had around an hour and a half before Jake got home from school, so it meant you had an hour and a half to take that shit out of your mind.

Instead of taking the bus, you walked to the closest drugstore, which took you around ten minutes. You felt judged by the cashier but pretended not to care as you swiped your card. On your way out, you called Chaewon. Luckily for you, she was home and wasted no time in inviting you in as you sounded desperate.

“Hey, beautiful”, Yunjin responded funnily as she opened the door of her house. “Chaewon is in the shower, make yourself home.”

You pouted, getting inside.

“I thought you were working”, you commented while taking your shoes off.

“Not today”, she cheered behind you. You couldn’t see her face, but you just knew how she looked. “I have two days off a week, luckily for you today is one of them.”

“In the middle of the week?”

“I traded with another girl at the office.”

You nodded, not saying anything. Yunjin looked down at your hands, noticing the drugstore’s bag.

“Oh...”

“Don’t, Jinnie...”, you moaned. You could hear the shower being turned off and sighed while sitting on the couch.

“I’m not gonna make any stupid joke”, she said with her hands up — looking like she was ready to surrender. “I just didn’t think it would be stuck in your mind like that, I’m sorry.”

You chuckled, shaking your head.

“It’s not your fault, my dear. It’s just that I need to take this out of my head and get back to enjoying sex again”, you explained with your head leaned against one of the pillows and eyes closed.

“Jake tried to give you birthday sex and you denied?”, Yunjin laughed. You groaned.

“We never once forgot a condom, that can’t be happening”, you said, missing her question on purpose.

“Have you ever watched FRIENDS?”, she asked. You opened your eyes, looking straight at her.

“What?”

5 years had passed since the incident. Riki sighed, Kyle standing directly in front of him, Riki played with his hair, a small pout on his lips, not wanting to let go of the little boy, though he has to go to school. "Kyle... when you go to school... make sure you listen to the teacher" Riki warned as the boy grinned "I won't listen~" he cooed as Riki frowned "Don't cause any trouble" he sternly added, but the little boy giggled "I will cause lots of trouble" Kyle smiled as Riki sighed, bending down to the 5 year old's height.

"Daddy's going to miss you littlun... but it's ok because I 'll be happy knowing you're having fun on your first day at school" Riki added with a smile, making sure the sound proof headphones were safely in his school bag. "Kywe will miss daddy too" the baby added, barely being able to pronounce his words properly, which made him sound extremely adorable.

With a final hug, the tiny boy ran inside the school building, immediately being met with more kids his age, and smiley, sweet teachers. Riki randomly started crying when he saw the boy go in, and Heeseung laughed at him. "Please even Y/n wouldn't cry over something like this" He teased as Riki smacked his shoulder "Speaking of y/n... we need to go visit her..." Riki trailed off, his face showing just how troubled he was feeling..

Oh how much god loved reminding Riki the pain of losing a loved one, all those death scares. Riki arrived at the hospital, and there through the window, he saw her, sat by the baby incubator, a small pout on her lips as she fell asleep. "She stayed overnight again?..." Heeseung asked as Riki nodded. "She refuses to leave the baby's side... the doctor told us we should be expecting bad news Hee..." Riki trailed off as he tried to hold back the tears that dared to fall.

He wore the necessary protective wear as he stepped into the room, standing just by the baby. Y/n fluttered her eyelashes, having been awaken by the presence beside her. "Riki?... how was Kyle? he went to school right?" she asked as Riki gave her a warm smile "He was so excited about it, didn't even throw a tantrum" Riki said as y/n smiled back at him. "The doctor said we can start talking to the baby..." she added, staring up at Riki with hopeful eyes.

It's been 2 weeks since the babygirl was born, and y/n never even got the chance to hold her. There hasn't been a day she didn't cry. Riki barely ever went in the room, he didn't want to break down before her, wanting to stay strong for her and the baby. He glanced at the small little baby girl, safe in the incubator, how fragile she looked, so innocent and sleeping oh so peacefully, not a care in the world, and no fear for what may happen, he turned to y/n, that same innocence, and hopefulness...

Hesitant, he approached th incubator, his hands in the 2 holes, which already, safely, gloved his hand, which only barely touched the baby. "sweetie..." he trailed off, staring down at the baby, "You may feel comfortable in there my little one, but trust me, out here, you have a better world, way more comfortable, a life of fun, and seeing how you're fighting now, something tells me you will make a pro mob boss in the future" Riki said as y/n frowned at him.

Riki chuckled softly, "Well mommy doesn't want that but its ok. You have a mommy, daddy and an excited brother waiting for you back home sweetheart" Riki said with a smile, pulling his hands out softly, as he went to y/n and Hugged her. "Yeseol..." y/n said, hugging him softly "hmm?" Riki asked, a little confused. "Let's name her Yeseol" y/n said staring up at him as he smiled, hugging him. "That's a pretty name for our pretty girl darling" Riki said with a smile.

my thoughts so far on the characters in scarlet.

koraidon is adorable. i cant believe miraidon is apparently more popular. miraidon has that robot dog toy from the early 00s appeal sure but koraidon is just soooo cute. chicken lizard creature. its SO goofy how its tail and its chest frills thingies turn into wheels but it still runs on its silly frog legs. love that. also im loving the skyrim terrain horse riding experience it provides i think thats exactly what pokemon was missing

i dont like clavell hes ugly and i dont think it was appropriate for him to comment on how well my stupid little uniform suits me right in front of my mother no less and i wish he would stop popping up because all he does is make me mildly uncomfortable

arven surprised me because at first i was super put off by him, although honestly that couldve been because his animations are SO scary like whyd they make him move like that and make those faces. either way i then saw him stumble around in the cafeteria with his enormous backpack, presumably in-universe he was like knocking shit off the tables with every move, and i found that endearing and relatable as i tend to do that too but without the backpack. and after that i hung around him a little and he turned into a fussy little housewife guywife babygirl like cooking for me and stuff like being like ohh omg of course i made extra for you you worked so hard today you gotta eat!! idk im really amused by this i like the guy and his huge clinically depressed dog
