It's been a really warm winter here, this year... which is super lame. Online I've seen all these places that never have snow get pelted by blizzards... Can't I have some? Just one? Pleaaaaseeeeeeeeee? I'll shovel every sidewalk in town if I have to! X) Despite my grievances, it is a very lovely day out today... so I thought I'd take a little walk. There's a bunch of forest out behind our house. We used to walk through it a lot when I was younger... but my parents never let me nowadays. Thankfully, no one's home to stop me today XP Stepping into the woods, it felt like stepping through a portal... everything looks exactly how I left it. The trees all have the same marks that they used to... the dead leaves still give the exact crackle as I walk. I used to love stomping down on them, trying to make the loudest CRUNCH sound I could. It was a competition, sometimes... whoever out of the two of us had the best crunch got to pick what we watched on TV for the next week. I don't remember you ever winning... maybe you let me win to make me feel better. Or, maybe I really was just a good stomper. My stomping days are behind me, now... I'm happy to softly step through the duff. A little ways further, I sat down on a big rock, and closed my eyes. I could hear every little sound for miles. I could hear noise from the town, families of birds above... but I was mostly listening to the wind. The breeze was blowing in such a way where it was almost... melodic. A gentle melody flowing through my ears. I'm home now... but I think a part of me is still there, sat on that rock, listening out... I hope it snows soon.

In the past while it was raining sometimes Remilia would take walks at night around the forest, but now... She complains about such routine activities, not primarily because of how much her waddle stompers ache, but because she outgrew her once spacious umbrella and gets SOAKED. A frilly dress isn't meant to cling onto rolls!

@bergdg — The Lady of Crows

We've seen quite a few blink-focused creatures in this vein, but few are quite so specific as asking for permanents to specifically enter from exile. Restrictions breed creativity, though, and an army of Storm Crows is a good reward for going to the trouble. I am kind of curious about specifically using a Storm Crow token rather than just a Bird. It could be something as simple as just really wanting to name it "The Lady of Crows," but it's got me imagining any number of in-universe reasons, and I admit I'm quite fascinated. There's a point of awkwardness hanging off of this, though. The second ability being mandatory on a card that creates tokens means it's entirely possible you'll be forced to obliterate a poor, innocent Storm Crow, which just feels bad. A nontoken rider could be warranted here.

@horsecrash — The Kessig Stomper

That is a lot of ramp, immediately, and it's even untapped! That would normally have me concerned, but it's evidently been accounted for. Principally, ramp is always going to be less generally valuable the more expensive is. This card is also extremely specific to morph/disguise, an archetype that's extremely mana hungry and still very much appreciates a glut of lands in the midgame, which props up its opportunity cost in more general strategies quite a lot. And of course, restricting it to being flipped up means that, unlike something like Primeval Titan, it's much harder to cheat the cost. Plus, the name just tickles me. A beast big enough to be referred to as a "Stomper," and yet it's apparently stealthy enough to melt into the dense Kessig forest.

@izzet-always-r-versus-u — The Hand of Death

It may be in the same vein (heh), but Sanguine Bond this is not. Outright converting life gain into burn rather than simply accompanying it is a harsh price to pay for being cheaper and stapled onto an efficient body, for sure. However, the cheaper cost allows it to better tap into what Sanguine Bond was trying to do when it's not causing infinite comboes: life gain is almost universally more efficient than burn, because it's less valuable. Flip that, and suddenly you've got some extremely efficient burn spells for as long as this can remain on board. And that is more of a concern, being attached to a creature rather than an enchantment. Top that off with the fact that it's also a punisher card if anyone else gets any funny ideas about gaining life, and this is a scary strong card. It is a bit awkward that in a multiplayer game, any one opponent gaining life makes everyone die. That could feel pretty bad, and maybe asks for it to be changed to "target opponent."

That's about it. As alluded to a few weeks ago, I can't reasonably hold myself to a writing a full slate of commentary anymore, so I want to try an alternative.

physical descriptions/style: 4’11, droopy green eyes, long wavy dark brown wolf cut with a pale blue streak on one side, lip ring and lotsa tattoos, always wearing black w big chunky boots. i call em my stompers. love accessories with spiderwebs and skulls, but i also really love cutesy sanrio stuff or just plain ol cute; cats, bunnies, bows, lace and whatnot. i love to combine both aesthetics :3 most of the time my style is very fem, but can lean androgynous from time to time.

personality: the all black emo look reflects my music taste (lots of rock and metal) and the cutesy stuff reflects my personality. i’m pretty introverted, but very bubbly when i get comfortable. easily excited, laughs a lot, very friendly and smiley. i think the biggest drawback of my personality is that i have a low social battery and need a LOT of alone time. i am also a little ditzy and awkward at times…lol

interests: i’m an artist for a living, so lots of my interests are within the art world. i especially love drawing and photography, but will easily take interest in anything in the arts. i do also love to read, bake sweet treats like cookies and cakes, attend concerts, and just generally be outside. love picnics and sitting by the ocean or taking a stroll in the forest. nothing strenuous, just like to appreciate nature in like a calm, quiet way. bonus if i have a coffee or tea.

Hi it’s me agsin I hope things are oksy. Anyways I just thought let you know I did begsin write different epic fan fictions. I’ve been writing them lot lately. I probably re-edit them and maybe possibly load them on fan fiction. Net and here. If I get around to might try hand at drawing some scenes based on fan docs post on deviant art and here.I just have wait and see.

As on top that I still have to focus on my school and taking care of family. So be when I can anyways. I was wondering I know haven’t in long time if like to continue with epic role play? Or say like start a new one be cool. If not it’s fine I know both lives can be crazy at times.

Anyhow some of epic fan fictions I’m writing I give brief here:

Untitled epic fan fiction 1: Ronin dies of old age and Nod having hard time coping with loosing another person cares about. But thanks to mk his now wife plus thier children help nod get through difficult time.

Untiled epic fan fiction 2: set pre ending of movie but before Nod visits mk ( after mk returns home) as see at end of movie. Ronin tries make reason with Nod his new relationship with mk. About complications of leafman and stomper being in relationship because of being from two different worlds and two different dimension sizes. Of course Nod refuses to listen and chooses to visit mk regularly while thier relationship grows.

Untiled epic fan fiction 3: Mandrake breaks free of his tree prison with new unbeatable strength, now some special dark magic power. He out for revenge for ones took pod from him and trapped him in tree. Mandrake has bogans set up trap. Process of the trap they get Nod. Mandrake uses his new special power to curse nod to follow mandrake every whim against nod will. He uses nod as bait to get to ronin and mk. Among mandrake revenue tries make nod kill ronin and mk but he refuses as saying he ratger die then kill his father figure and love of his life. Therefore mandrske totures nod more, where nod no longer has control over his own body.

Ronin, mk and rest of nod family and friends try find some answers how set nod free and get rid of mandrske once and for all. With help of Nim glu from scrolls there old prophecy tells of the events happening and whst must do. But unfortunately by prophecy only way stop mandrake and break curse nod has. Is to use of special magical sword of great power and has to be driven into both of them. Will Nod survive or will he die?

Untiled epic fan fiction 4: Two years after nod and mk been together, they break up. Due to complications of size differences, from two different worlds and never be able have real relationship like most couple have. Of course at end Nod is devastated by break up and say something’s to mk he regrets tries make up bit too late. Nod never gets see or speak to mk again. Or will he?

Four years later after heartbreaking break up of nod and mk, each has tried move on with thier lives. Mk is in city going to college while nod continues his life as leafman. But somehow over 4 years nod hasn’t been sane after mk,he just wrapped himself in leafman duties, as feeling he had nothing else live for. He lost himself, all gone was his free spirited loving , caring self. Now he became bitter, cold and distant and empty shell of his former self.

One day leafman are called to edge of moonhaven after some disturbance. Nod goes along with them with ronin to investigate. In process of it there surprise attack of bogss which caues leafman be outnumbered. Among that nod gets knocked off his bird and gets captured. Trying plan his escape ftom his captures, he ends getting hurt in process, and blacks out. When wakes up he in edge of forest not far from mk home. Nod now by some mysterious accunce has lost all his memories and not only that but no longer his leafman size, he now stomper!

Dazzled, confused, and scared Nod trying remember all events happened as well figure out he got where he at. Not sure what to do he wonders off forest and see some type home and heads to it. Unknown to him it’s actually mk home. Mk happens be there for time visiting her dad. She gets unexpected visit from nod at her door. Will this change of events help bring nod and mk back together? Will mk be able help nod to solve mystery of his lost memories and whst happened to him? Unknown to both of them a new enemy along with bogsn are threatening forest and moonhaven again. Will ether be able to help?

Well so far this it of stories I’m working on. Of course each will be edited before I send it to those sites.

More Sons of the Forest.

Winter has come, and I don't know if I'll survive it. I know water'll be harder to get now. Should I start on the caves? I bet they're immune to weather. I mainly think that because "affected by cold" doesn't seem like something they'd program into caves, but also, real-life caves don't get cold in winter. Or hot in summer. Go down far enough, and the temperature on the surface stops mattering.

That's why I fantasize about living in an underground bunker. Even more, as the summers get hotter.

I don't know why I didn't expect the water in water collectors to freeze. Maybe because it's the kind of thing I'd expect the programmers to have overlooked in The Forest, but they've clearly upped their game for Sons.

I'm saving next to where soda spawns, so maybe I'll be okay at staying hydrated. Maybe. Thanks to my chronic restartitis, I've never gotten through winter before.

I'm definitely getting better with the bow. I breezed through a Spine Clubber a Big Red and a Floppy Lady (a reference to her bellyflop attack and her... physique) all attacking me at once.

This will probably be hilarious to reread when I learn their actual names. For now, I'm avoiding spoilers.

I had nicknames for the mutants in The Forest, too, though that was mainly because I wanted to steal them to be bad guys in a world I was worldbuilding. The Lovely Ladies, the Armsmen, and the Stompers.

I'm still lurking around the beach. I'm only getting a few turtles, but there are enough seagulls to keep me fed. I don't have a winter-ready shelter, but I've got a large holder full of logs where I want to build, so I should be able to put together something.

I should probably have been expanding one base instead of half-building two and starting on a third, but I am terrible at sticking to that.
