Tumblr media
I’m not going to watch this video, because it will probably get my blood pressure rising. Could this title just be clickbait or ragebait? Possibly, but based on the comments I saw, probably not.
I bet it is filled with:
1. An inaccurate definition of what queerbait actually is.
2. A lack of understanding of past anime that have queerbaited (Getbackers, Saiyuki, Princess Princess, etc.) and a lack of anime that have existed in more nuanced and subtle queer spaces (Nabari no Ou - written by an actual x-gender, asexual mangaka, Tiger & Bunny, Samurai Flamenco (from my understanding), and possibly the anime series called Pet (I only watched like the first 3 episodes or so of this one).
3. A straight or gay reading without a single glance at more nuanced queer interpretation of the pair (aka an aspec or queerplatonic reading).
Based on the comments (and the tagged sections of the video), it seems that there was a mention of how the female characters were treated in the series, but I wonder if there was any analysis on how which female characters were treated in what ways, how those female characters engaged within Japanese society, and what messages the series might be saying about Japanese society as a whole, and about the world of men (the hitman business Rei and Kazuki were apart of) vs. the world of women (the childcare business Rei and Kazuki enter into).
Working three jobs now, I don’t have the time or energy to watch this video right now, but if anyone else does, please let me know if this is an accurate interpretation or not. I’ll update the post if need be.
But, this is such a stale and broken take on the series and it saddens me that basically one of the only videos I’ve seen on this series, going actually in-depth on it, from someone with a decently sized platform is going with such a bland and honestly straight up wrong take (the series isn’t queerbait, since it was never ever promoted or advertised in a way to make you ship Kazuki and Rei). A show having queer subtext or a queer reading to it =/= queerbait, which is a specific marketing based term.
I feel like an interpretation like this one is missing out on the whole point of the series, as well as on various other messages and themes it is trying to tell. And if this is just a ragebait or clickbait style title, then that’s frustrating too, because it instantly turns me off from actually watching this video and what it might have to say and tell about Buddy Daddies as a series.

Note
why is sanzang often a woman in japanese media? even dbz bulma is his female counterpart.
I can’t say for sure why this all began but I can say that it was most likely because of the first popular Japanese version to do it.
Monkey Magic (1978) also known as Saiyuki isn’t the first Japanese Xiyouji content but it was definitely one of the most influential since many Japanese media followed its example and had Sanzang be a woman. Most of this is parodies of the show, directly influencing it, or rather having Sanzang be the token girl in their product.
Before the TV series was produced, the director planned to turn it into a movie and have it in a kabuki style. He wanted Tamasaburo Bando to play the role of Tang Monk (Sun Wukong is Wakayama Tomisaburo, Zhu Bajie is foreign sumo wrestler Takamiyama Daigoro, and Sha Monk is Nakadai Tatsuya), But they couldn't reach an agreement and didn't hire him. Later, they re-planned the cast and boldly hired women. After using Natsume Masako, the response was surprisingly great. Later versions of Tang Monk were all played by female actors as well.
Some viewers may think that Tang Monk in the play is a woman because of Natsume Masako. But the intention of the show is that it the actress was playing a male role. Later Japanese remakes also used this setting casting the actor of Master Tripitaka as female. The first episode of Journey to the West was broadcast on Japan Television from October 1, 1978 to April 1, 1979, with a total of 26 episodes. Because the series is very popular in Japan, The Japan Television Bureau produced and broadcast 26 episodes of "Journey to the West II" from November 11, 1979 to May 4, 1980.
On the other hand, in China, in case of making Master Tripitaka a girl, others commented that it was tampering with the original work. certainly, In this work, Master Tripitaka was not set as a female; it's just because the actress played a male role, so it's a misunderstanding.
I can’t say for certain why they made Sanzang a girl in the 1970s but the best I can say is that it could follow that more Japanese humor of having a “damsel in distress” tv trope since that was pretty common around that era. It could be that the producers were trying to have that angle of showing Sanzang as a younger boy since women did play male youth often enough in older films, it certainly wasn't unheard of. And that only later adaptions tried to go for a romance angle considering that there are no real female leads and it was highly doubtful they would have a male romance. I haven’t watched the show myself so I can’t be 100% certain just based on what clips I have seen.
But needless to say, it’s because of that version we see so many girl Sanzangs in Japanese media, and I honestly don’t know if maybe another version down the line could’ve done the same gender swap and be just as influential or not.

[Recommendation] Picking Up Older Works Now
Tumblr media
Source: Promotional images for Sailor Moon, Inyuasha, and Naruto
By: Peggy Sue Wood | @pswediting
It has never been easier than now to pick up older anime. Older works are widely available on legal streaming sites like the YouTube channels of official license holders, Crunchyroll, Netflix, Funimation, Peacock, HIDIVE, and more. Moreover, many older works can be watched for free online without the need for a membership.
Although some older anime may contain what would now be considered questionable content, such as nudity in Ranma 1/2, many still hold a valuable place in the anime community and history of animation.
As an “older” fan of anime, I’ve been reflecting on the merit of older works and how I might recommend them to new fans of the medium. While newer fans may be drawn to recent anime, I believe that older, slightly more obscure works are worth exploring, especially since they are readily available.
Many series that I once considered recent are now five to six+ years old. The works that introduced me to anime are even older, and their graphics may not be appealing to new fans. Additionally, remakes of these series may lack the same charm that the original works had within the community.
Still, I’d like to argue in favor of giving older works a try. Many older series have seen revivals, such as Sailor Moon and Fruits Basket. Longer ongoing series like One Piece, Naruto/Boruto, and Dragon Ball also have continued fan appreciation.
While I understand that some new fans may be overwhelmed by the length of these longer series, there are other options available. Some big ones for me include CLAMP’s other significant works like xxxHolic or Tsubasa Chronicles, and shounen like Detective Conan, which is still airing to this day with a largely episodic format for easy pick-up. These works, along with many others, are available but overlooked by many newer fans in favor of more popular series like Cowboy Bebop or Card Captor.
Finding a title of interest can be as simple as Googling older series that are similar to something you are into now or picking up works that are ongoing but lack the same complicated history regarded in serialization as some of the bigger works do. In my personal experience, looking up older works led me to Saiyuki, which has since become one of my favorite series of all time. It has multiple seasons and sparks my interest not just because of the action parts but also because of the introspective moments that likely stem from its source material.
Who knows? You might discover a new favorite series that has been overlooked for far too long. I certainly have!

i'm listening to one of my playlists and i'm suddenly reminded of that fact that i would watch anime openings/endings every single day like a normal person on my iPod nano (that i still have too) but in a super normal way aka earbuds in while going to school, even when i was doing an exchange in Germany (watching the saiyuki openings and endings like my life depended on it)
i also did that with kpop mvs for a long while too. I'm not saying it's weird but also I'm listening to chAngE by miwa and remembering that yes. i did watch that everyday to cope with the fact that i couldn't watch bleach episodes. for 1 WEEK mind you. not as if i would have missed more than 1 ep.

20 questions for fic writers
Saw this post by @gekidasa and I thought I wanna do this thing too. Cos I rarely get sent or tagged with this kinda stuff XD
1. How many works do you have on AO3? 581 (including the ones posted anonymously)
2. What's your total AO3 word count? 1,649,635 as of currently
3. What fandoms do you write for? Saiyuki, Goblin Slayer, Code Geass, Yugioh, Yami no Matsuei, some other niche anime and manga titles, Toku series (Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Ultraman, GARO and one very rare Cybercop fic, a whole bunch of KDramas, JDramas, BBC dramas which includes the Whoniverse and a few original writings. And oh... some game fandom too.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
"Wife" - A Beyond Evil fic... based on this ONE scene that seemed to be so gay lol
Unread - A Descendant of the Sun fic set around the moment priot to the main leads reunion after the guy supposed died/went MIA on a mission
Alstromeria - A Detroit: Become Human fic set on a happy end outcome of the game.
Che ricorda - A Vincenzo fic.
Rouge - A fic based on Tomorrow kdrama
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Sometimes. Usually when people ask me stuff in the comments I'll definitely give some replies. Or if there's a very enthusiastic one that I can't help responding. Or just to thank people for the comments.
6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Unh... this one was a very hard question lol, since I wrote plenty of angsty fic. Heck, my main genre had been angst. Though I guess some of my angstiest fic I've written would be the one I wrote for the Hidarime Tantei Eye jdrama. There's this one Anti Hope AU I did about a scenario where Ainosuke was so in denial about his older brother's death that he actually created a delusion that his brother was still alive.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Hehehe. Another hard stuff, one because I wrote more angst than fluff... and another, I'm not sure that I'm the write person to have a proper opinion about this XD. But if talking about my recent works... I might say my TanuKitsune series. Which basically referring to Sleeping Tanuki.
8. Do you get hate on fics? I did used to get some, just because I mainly wrote LuluKallen pairing in the Code Geass fandom. But in terms of flames... I already forgot about it cos that's like so many years ago.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Hehe. Nowadays... yes. I wrote quite an amount, openly and anonymously. Mostly from the Geats fandom.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written? I used to. I wouldn't say any of them came close to being described as 'crazy'. Cos there's one on CCS/YGO and KR/SS multiverse project that revolves around Decade and Gokaiger. In terms of scale, I guess the Gokaiger one was crazy. Like imagine trying to add more inside lore to the one in series since Gokai barely delve too deep when doing all the episodes with the previous teams. Or if you count that tiny crossover I did in some of my Geats fic, yeah that's crazy. Like KR Geats and Team Batista series had NOTHING in common between them.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Has it happened before? I don't really remember.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Several times. I've got someone asking me if they could translate my fic into Russian, and several other requests asking to translate my fics into Mandarin. I forgot if there were any other requests for other languages besides those two.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Nope.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship? Kouga/Kaoru is still my all-time fav even if I don't write too much Garo fic. In that case, KeiAce probably fit the bill more now.
15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? Passing the Torch - because it'll require me to rewatch the episodes and the corresponding tribute series that by know I don't think I'll have enough attention span and time to do and think up stuff.
16. What are your writing strengths? To be honest, half the time I'm not sure what's my real strength in anything. But depending on my level of hyper-focusing at a time I can be pretty good at keeping the voice of my characters... and sometimes people say that I could emulate the same writing style as the original writers, which had been one of the sweetest compliments I've ever received.
17. What are your writing weaknesses? Dialogues... maybe, because sometimes I have harder time trying to voice out my characters thoughts on something... also I get distracted/derailed easily so half the time the plot just ran off on its own.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? I usually avoid it unless I'm proficient in said language.
19. First fandom you wrote for? Gensoumaden Saiyuki, I think. Goku/Sanzo
20. Favorite fic you've written? I wrote so many it's hard to pick any favourites tbh But I guess my TanuKitsune series would be some of them. Also Atonement. Just because I love how the plot end up coming together nicely.
Tagging: Not sure if anyone would bother doing this... but feel free if you wanna do this

My Fandom Journey: Anime
I thought I'd make a little series talking about my various fandoms and my journey in them. I'm starting with a broader topic of anime, getting into more specific titles at a later post. I'll do a manga one next but my initial introduction into Japanese media was anime so I'll start here. This is gonna be a long rambly post btw.
When I was in the Philippines at a young age (I wanna say around 5 or 6 years old), me and my siblings started watching Digimon Adventures first, we literally watched all the episodes up until Digimon Tamers. We did watch western cartoons as well, we were lucky enough to have Sky so we had Disney, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. One of the reasons I think I liked anime was because it wasn't as overly stylized as cartoons, human designs and characterizations weren't overly exaggerated like in Hey Arnold or Rugrats for example, not to say I didn't enjoy those cartoons because I totally did up to a certain age. Also because anime tended to have overarching storylines and arcs for the most part, compared to the episodic nature of early western cartoons, I found myself focusing more on the story and wanting to watch every episode. Honestly I remember being glued to the screen while watching Digimon and always made sure I watched every episode and if I missed one then I'd catch the re-run that they aired on the weekend (I remembered the exact airing schedule of this damn series when I was a child). Whereas when I missed an episode of Spongebob Squarepants or Courage the Cowardly Dog I'd be fine about it.
Most animes that were aimed at kids were licensed and aired on local channels like GMA and ABS-CBN and were majority dubbed in tagalog but there were a few channels that aired anime in english dub so that's how I watched anime most of the time. I am glad though that they kept the original Japanese openings and ending songs for the Tagalog dub. (I loved Hunter X Hunter's Ohayou Opening, it was seriously the best)
Majority of the imported anime to the Philippines were mostly shonen (as far as I was aware anyway) so the other animes we watched after school were Slamdunk, Medabots, Yu-gi-oh, Beyblade, Hunter X Hunter, Yu Yu Hakusho, Flame of Recca and a few episodes of Rave Master and Case Closed/Detective Conan. Surprisingly we weren't that into Pokemon but we did watch majority of the early seasons (Can't remember which ones, but Brock and Misty were the entourage). I think we watched Zoids too but only a few epsiodes.
When we got a bit older but still children (I was around 9-11) we started watching animes that would be considered seinen such as Rurouni Kenshin, GetBackers, Saiyuki, Cowboy Bebop, Galaxy Angels, Ranma 1/2, and a mecha anime that for the life of me I cannot remember the title of (It might've been part of the Brave franchise??). I also occasionally watched You're Under Arrest and Lupin III. Anyway most of these were obviously more censored than the manga or original Japanese version but they were still definitely innapropriate for my age range. I still don't understand how we got away with watching Rurouni Kenshin as kids it was aired on a sky channel that wasn't aimed at kids so the violence wasn't that censored, I think it was the first subbed anime that I watched
There are also animes that I didn't really watch but I was aware of like Naruto, Dragon Ball (Sorry to the fans I never quite got into these two series), Outlaw Star, Ah My Goddess, Inuyasha, Baki the Grappler, Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura.
Side note there's also another anime that I can't remember the name of but I've been looking for it forever, It's an old sci-fi spaceship anime about a man going through a mid-life crisis and becomes isekai'd(?) into this spaceship where he plays the electric guitar to power the ship and fight. Does anyone know this anime???
After moving to New Zealand when I was 11 I got exposed to different genres outside the usual Shonen and Seinen I grew up on. My first shoujo anime was Ouran High School Host Club followed by Fruits Basket, which while they're not my favorites, they hold a special place in my heart. I do remember watching animes early morning on Sunday, I would wake up at like 6am to watch Megaman, Digimon Frontier and Tokyo Mew Mew (yeah... 4kids ver). After school they aired Yu-gi-oh GX, Shaman King,
How I watched Anime also changed from just seeing what was on TV, the internet was becoming more accessible in our family (we had dial-up at first) and there were also video rental stores as well as the usual ripped DVDs that we got from friends. There wasn't a lot of choices in rental stores but they always had a decent selection of anime films and that's how I got into Ghibli films, also I think I watched the Ghost in the Shell film and 10 Centimeters per Second. At this time I watched The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Ao Hana, Hell Girl, xxxHolic, Mushishi, Death Note (early episodes), and Bleach (only until the end of Soul Soiety arc). You can kind of see from my selection here that I had a phase of mystery, supernatural anime.
I can't quite remember at around what point I transitioned to being manga only but once I came across the original source material of my favorite anime I stopped watching anime for the most part. There are notable exceptions, such as anime-only series like Psycho-pass and K, music related series like K-On! (I really wanted to hear the songs). Nowadays I'll read a manga or light novel (if translated) first then decide if it's worth it to watch the anime. I did that with Kuroko no Basket and Haikyuu! but I haven't done it recently. Basically if the anime has a manga as it's original source I'll choose that but if it's an original anime or a game-based, light novel based anime then I'll watch it.
This has been a loooong post. I'll do another one on my manga journey maybe tomorrow. This series essentially is just so I can word vomit about my fandoms because a lot of my friends don't share as many fandoms with me. If you've read until here then thanks for listening to me ramble.
Bye-bee~

Sorry for the Late and thank you for the tag, @slainbanjos! I have had this tab open for like a month oops
8 TV Shows to get to know me! (In whatever order)
If you care to expand this to read it, consider yourself tagged! If you want :3
First is the one that defined my childhood: the Saturday morning Sonic The Hedgehog cartoon. It was everything to 8-year-old me. Foundational. Even as an adult I still think it’s cute and fun.
The next show that was everything to me was definitely Dragonball Z. Yeah the pacing sucked (especially before Kai) but the pain of the excruciating wait for anything to fucking happen was part of the fun. And in college it was the first show I played a drinking game to.
Supernatural was my comfort show in college up until S9. I still have the DVD box sets. I drank way too much vodka (playing more drinking games) watching this show. I have fond memories. And some episodes I don’t remember so well.
.hack//SIGN. This is how much Nothing I will tolerate in a tv show just because I thought the visuals & music are fascinatingly pretty (and the premise is pretty neat)
The Good Place. My favorite TV sitcom ever. Philosophy good. Humans good. Humans better than they were yesterday. And all the memes.
Breaking Bad! The very second TV show I was ever able to binge! (The first was Saiyuki) Extremely fucking cathartic to watch Walter be an asshole, make himself miserable, and wonder why everyone hates him.
If you like Doctor Who but hate Nine we can’t be friends lmao
Steven Universe FUCK the haters, FUCK the discourse, I’ve always said I’m so grateful to have existed at the same time as this story. And Alone Together and the Season 1 finale were the first times I saw “we and me, multiple people are happy to be one person” on TV that I can ever recall. Yeah it was groundbreaking queer representation but also it meant a lot to me while I was talking to my therapist about my OSDD. They’re HAPPY. I’m HAPPY. We’re HAPPY. This doesn’t have to be how everyone understands (or experiences) systems but I say it can’t hurt to point to it.
Most people doing this tag meme are probably not including explanations or paragraphs and just doing lists but I just wanted to. If you’re reading this I’d be interested to see what your answers are! Please tag me if you also do it! :)

It’s just a weird way of viewing Kazuki, okay? lol
The dudebros over on MAL calling Kazuki a womanizer is so weird. Before the series started and it said in his bio that he “liked women and gambling,” I thought that he might be a womanizer as well and definitely used that term once or twice in regards to him. But by Episode 12?
Yeah, Kazuki likes women and seems to still go out with them from time to time. But...that’s not the same thing as a womanizer. Womanizers in anime, especially, have a very similar personality type that Kazuki just straight up does not have. That personality type is more like Brock from Pokemon or Gojyo from Saiyuki, where they would ask out every woman they saw to go out with them, date them, kiss them, etc. etc.
Kazuki never does that. Like, the absolute closest we ever see of that is him with the Daycare Moms in Episode 4 when he winks at them, lmao. Outside of that we see him engage in sex to gather intel for work and flirty interactions with Carol and Dorothy (as well as the other women) in Episodes 1 and 7, but nothing necessarily sexual (they are adult entertainers, but probably don’t engage in any actual sexual acts - just the fantasy or illusion of sex, similar to like a stripper, etc.). Carol, Dorothy, and the Fairy Lips is more about the illusion of spending time with pretty ladies, similar to a hostess club type of situation (just with a casino and gambling element to it).
In Episode 12, we get a very vague description of Kazuki hanging out a woman, which could mean he did engage in sexual acts or he just engaged in something more flirty like the Fairy Lips sort of stuff. None of that is “womanizer” behavior. “Womanizer” has a very negative connotation to it, at least, imo it does, and it makes me think of men who constantly hit on women, which isn’t Kazuki’s actual MO at all.

Saiyuki Livewatch: Episode 1: To the Distant West
First time posting on this tumblr but welcome to my blog! I figured, since Saiyuki Reload Blast, part of a series that I’ve loved since my teenage years, is coming out WITH a dub this year I’d go ahead and just watch what came before to prepare for that. And I mean EVERYTHING. I might not cover Requiem until at least after Reload and Reload Gunlock but we’ll see. And I’ll be going by the dubs because 1 it’s what I grew up listening to and 2 I just perfer dubs. That means I will be commenting on the change in cast when we get to Reload and how I feel about them. My overall plan is to talk about at least one episode per day until I’m all caught up. But with all that out of the way, let’s get started!
First things first: I LOVE the first op. I used to have the thing memorized and it is now my current ringtone. It’s catchy, it’s upbeat, and just gets you ready for the show that’s coming up.
I love the line that explains how the relationship between demons and humans changed. "Humans became Abel to demons' Cain" Aaaand cut from doom and gloom to Goku munching on holy peaches in the temple courtyard. XD And gives 0 shits about the monks's whining. Hello, Greg Ayres!
For those not in the know, I actually was not aware of this particular actor until this role. And frankly I adore Greg and I LOVE this role.  David Matragna takes a few episodes to fully settle into the role of Sanzo but once he does, he's a great pick for the prickly priest.  And I just really like Illich Guardiola as Sha Gojyo. He balances the pervy side of Gojyo and his more heroic aspects. What there is of him. ( ....I have no idea why Gojyo's hair is fucking pink though. We SEE red in this series. I don't know why they thought to make his hair pink) And a hello to a rarely seen VA Braden Hunt as Cho Hakkai. He's easily my favorite, balancing the darkness in his soul with the facade of a polite, cheery young man.
*squee* And there's the ever adorable Jeep/Hakuryu. Depending on which you saw first, the manga or the anime, he's the transportation that the guys are gonna use to head west. The names differ because, well, licensing.
XD Took almost ten minutes but we get our first whining from Goku about how hungry he is. This is a constant gag that still gets a giggle out of me.
Hello floating heads. I was wondering when you'd show up. I'm...not a hundred percent sure if they're gods or something in between god and human or what. However they give Sanzo his quest to save Shangri-La, which I'm still not 100% sure is just the name of the world or the country.
Regardless, long story short: Sanzo is off to prevent the revival of an ancient demon named Gyumaoh that took the War Prince of the gods to finally put down. What's causing the demons to go mad is the combination of science and dark magics that is being used to revive Gyumaoh.
The reason why Sanzo brought the others? It was an order, otherwise he more than likely would have done it alone and also more than likely gotten his holy ass killed. Because Sanzo is a loner and really doesn't like being around the others save maybe Hakkai. Mostly because Goku and Gojyo argue a lot and they generally just aren't quiet. Hakkai is and knows to give him his space. Goku and Gojyo? Not so much.
And the introduction of Sanzo's gun. It's easily one of the most powerful weapons in the show because of how it works. It's a banishing gun and, at least for the first season, completely atomizes demons. It’s actually a plot point for a future episode if my memory serves correctly.
Aaaaaand that line from Hakkai about being the only demons to still have their sense of self turns out to not be entirely true. Other demons are out there who have some semblance of sanity. They just generally either choose to work for the enemy, who will be revealed in due time, or they lose it shortly after meeting the Sanzo party.
And why these four are sane? They all have a tragic past that connects them not only to each other but to their humanity. Plus, well, Gojyo is only half-demon which could be the main reason why he’s sane. Although you can make an argument for if that’s gonna stay that way.
....No I totally haven't overthought this shit at all since I saw it as a teenager. What are you saying? ....Yeah I've seen it. Repeatedly. At least the first two season. I can’t say the same about Reload and Gunlock.
It's easily one of my favorite anime. It's not the best written or necessarily the best acted or best animated. But I adore the characters yes, even Gojyo who is my least favorite, but we'll explore that as we learn more about our heroes throughout the series.
So until next episode, remember to be attached to nothing and to hold no side but your own! ....Yes these are main themes of the series.

Summary:
From April 2, 1978 to August 26, 1979, it was broadcast on Fuji TV every Sunday from 19:00 to 19:30. All 73 episodes. From episode 65 onwards, the title has been changed to "SF Saiyuki Starzinger II". Aired on Toei video production. Strangely enough, at about the same time, Nippon TV aired the drama "Journey to the West Series" and TBS aired the drifter puppet show "Fly! Son Goku" on the same subject.
Based on "Journey to the West", Eisuke Ishikawa's science fiction novel "Science Journey to the West" is the original draft. Produced in the midst of the Leiji Matsumoto boom that began with "Space Battleship Yamato" in the late 1970s, following on from the previous program "Wakusei Robo Kano no Danguard A", Matsumoto drew the settings for the anime. Unlike the previous work, Matsumoto himself does not comicalize, Gosaku Sakurata is "TV Land" and Shigeto Ikehara is serializing the manga version as " Adventure King". In addition, the main character of this work, Kugo, has been changed from the giant robot series that has continued with the "Mazinger" series and "Wakusei Robo Danguard A" to a life-size hero. However, perhaps because of the setting that Son Goku in Journey to the West can also be gigantic, after becoming "SF Journey to the West Starzinger II", a setting has been added in which the main character becomes gigantic and fights.
The galaxy was in turmoil. Due to the weakening of the galaxy energy emanating from the center of the galactic universe, Great Pluto, even the good cosmic creatures became ferocious and rampaged as space monsters. In order to stop the progress of the situation, the power of Princess Aurora, who lives on the planet (Earth) of the solar system, was necessary. Therefore, Princess Aurora follows three galaxy cyborgs, Jean Cugo, Don Hakka, and Sir Jogo as knights. To restore peace in her universe, she continues her journey to the great planet while fighting space monsters and evil aliens.
