Building a Circular Future: How LOHUM is Shaping the Next Era of Battery Sustainability
As the world accelerates towards electrification and a low-carbon future, the demand for lithium-ion batteries is surging at an unprecedented pace. Whether it’s electric vehicles, smartphones, or energy storage systems supporting renewables, lithium-ion batteries form the backbone of our clean energy ambitions. But with rising demand comes pressing questions—where will we source the critical materials needed to power this transformation sustainably? How can we ensure that our energy transition doesn’t simply shift environmental and social costs from one place to another?
At LOHUM, we are not just answering these questions—we are actively redefining the lifecycle of lithium-ion batteries. As India’s first integrated lithium-ion battery lifecycle management company, LOHUM is creating a circular economy around clean & green Li-ion battery materials, helping the world move away from extractive supply chains and towards sustainable, localized value creation.
The Challenge: Rising Demand, Scarce Resources
According to the U.S. Department of Energy, the battery market is projected to grow tenfold in the next decade. Yet, all of the world’s current mining operations cannot extract enough lithium, cobalt, or nickel to meet the projected demand. New mines take years to establish and come with significant environmental and social concerns—depleting water resources, displacing communities, and causing irreversible ecosystem damage.
Compounding the issue is the volatility of critical mineral prices. For instance, cobalt, nickel, and lithium—three key ingredients in cathode materials—have experienced price swings as high as 300% in a single year, despite a 90% drop in overall EV battery costs over the past decade. This level of unpredictability presents risks not just to manufacturers, but to the entire EV value chain.
That’s where LOHUM’s innovative model of reuse, recycling, and responsible manufacturing comes in.
From Waste to Wealth: The Future is Circular
Recycling lithium-ion batteries is no longer a “nice to have”—it is a strategic necessity. Research shows that up to 50% of a battery’s cost comes from the minerals inside it. By recovering and reusing these materials, we can dramatically reduce production costs, stabilize supply chains, and minimize environmental degradation.
At LOHUM, we’ve engineered advanced hydrometallurgical and direct recycling technologies to recover high-purity cathode materials while preserving their chemical integrity. Unlike traditional pyrometallurgical approaches—which are energy-intensive and generate toxic emissions—our clean processes avoid costly refining and resynthesis stages.
Take direct cathode recycling, for example. Instead of breaking down battery materials into their base elements and rebuilding them, we preserve the cathode compound and simply “re-lithiate” it. This not only retains its engineered structure and performance but also reduces the environmental footprint significantly—enabling us to deliver clean & green Li-ion battery materials that are as effective as virgin compounds, if not better.
Performance Meets Sustainability
Recent studies have demonstrated that cathodes recovered using direct recycling can actually outperform new ones. Recycled cathode particles tend to be more porous, allowing them to absorb lithium ions more efficiently, charge faster, and resist cracking over time—a common cause of battery degradation.
This innovation is critical to the evolution of battery for e-scooter applications, where performance, safety, and affordability must be balanced. At LOHUM, we manufacture next-generation batteries specifically designed for 2-wheeler and 3-wheeler EVs, using these high-quality recycled materials. Our batteries offer longer cycle life, enhanced safety, and cost-competitiveness, helping OEMs and fleet operators scale faster while staying green.
The Global Impact: Less Mining, More Justice
Beyond environmental benefits, recycling offers tangible socio-economic advantages. Today, over 60% of the world’s cobalt supply originates from the Democratic Republic of Congo, a region plagued by conflict, child labor, and environmental abuse. Reducing our dependency on virgin cobalt not only improves supply chain resilience but also advances human rights and ethical sourcing.
At LOHUM, we believe a truly clean energy transition must also be a just transition. By localizing the supply of critical materials through battery recycling, we reduce emissions, empower communities, and generate green jobs—all while conserving natural resources.
Building a Domestic Battery Ecosystem
India is on the cusp of becoming a global hub for battery manufacturing. But to achieve this, we need more than just gigafactories—we need a circular supply chain that can scale sustainably. That’s why LOHUM is investing heavily in infrastructure, technology, and R&D to ensure every lithium-ion battery that comes to end-of-life is recovered, recycled, and reused.
Our integrated approach includes battery diagnostics, second-life repurposing, and material recovery—all within a closed-loop system that prioritizes safety, transparency, and environmental stewardship. By partnering with EV makers, energy storage companies, and policymakers, LOHUM is catalyzing a future where clean & green Li-ion battery materials are not the exception but the norm.
Policy Matters
For this ecosystem to thrive, we must align industrial innovation with forward-thinking regulation. California has already set the benchmark by proposing legislation that mandates 100% of EV batteries be recycled or reused. India, too, is moving in the right direction with its Battery Waste Management Rules and Production Linked Incentive (PLI) schemes.
LOHUM actively supports policies that encourage extended producer responsibility, standardized labelling, and investment in recycling infrastructure. We envision a future where every battery for e-scooter and electric vehicle contributes to a circular, net-zero economy.
In Conclusion
The transition to electric mobility is inevitable—but how we power that transition matters. At LOHUM, we are leading the charge toward a cleaner, greener, and more equitable battery ecosystem. By innovating at the intersection of materials science, sustainability, and circular economy, we are ensuring that the batteries of tomorrow are not just high-performing, but also responsible.

A Bad Day - Chapter 2 - Lies Coloured Green
The Flying Scotsman attempts to make up for a horrible first impression with Tornado while Green Arrow does some questionable things.
"Well if it isn't the Flying Scooter," the City of Truro's voice called out to him as he rolled into their sheds.
"Did you have a pleasant trip today, Scooterman?" Truro teased playfully. "I hear it was busy all the way to King's Cross."
The Flying Scotsman didn't answer which concerned Truro. He was normally a talkative engine. One that had comebacks for almost every tease. But today he was oddly quiet.
"What's wrong Scott?" Truro asked concerned. "Are you okay?"
The Scotsman was silent for a long moment.
"Have you met the new Peppercorn Steam Engine, Tornado?" He asked his friend. "The very young one?"
"I can't say I have my dear," Truro frowned. "Why?"
"I met her today," Scott said quietly. "It wasn't ideal."
"Why? What did you do to the poor thing?"
"The poor girl was so upset that she ran a red signal and almost crashed into me," the Scotsman said and Truro looked shocked. "She was in tears and she was angry because the other engines kept harassing her for no reason."
Truro looked shocked and appalled.
"I knew that she was getting some bullying, I didn't realise how bad it was," Truro said.
"I spoke to the station masters along the route, they said they saw her harrassed by other engines," The Scotsman said. "They'll file complaints about said engines but I doubt it'll do much. She's only several years old Truro! She’s a child and she's being treated like a criminal, it's disgraceful!"
The Scotsman was furious and Truro looked pensive and thoughtful.
"If an engine like you would take her under your steam, she'd perhaps get less harassment," Truro offered and Scotsman's eyes widened. "And she needs someone to teach her."
The Flying Scotsman was silent for a long moment.
"I saw her being built, you know?"
"You did?"
"Yes, while I was being restored. During breaks between the pain, I saw her slowly come together over the years," the Flying Scotsman said quietly. "It gave me hope, hope that once the pain from the rebuild was over I would finally be free of problems as they were investing money into steam engines again."
"Well, it's been almost a year since you returned," Truro smiled.
"I broke down last week," Scotsman said weakly. "I've been-."
The Scotsman paused before looking away. He didn't want to burden Truro or seem ungrateful but after coming out of his restoration, Scotsman had felt increasingly worse and run down over the past year.
The restorers had implored the Director Cain not to overwork him as the restoration was not up to their standards but Cain had ignored their pleas.
Flying Scotsman was feeling more run down than ever.
Truro was older than him and he seemed to be running perfectly fine. He hadn't had a breakdown in a long time.
Was Tornado meant to replace him? Was his time finally up?
Was that why she was built?
Maybe the writing really was on the wall for him. It wouldn't hurt to befriend the young engine. Especially when she clearly needed a guide to help her. The poor thing was getting the worst harassment he'd heard of.
She looked strong and powerful and a Peppercorn was more than worthy of becoming his replacement.
She was his cousin after all.
"It doesn't matter," he sighed. "Maybe it's just me."
Truro looked concerned.
"Are you alright Scott?" He asked and Scotsman looked away from him.
"Just me being ridiculous and over thinking things, you know me old friend," Scott grinned at him through his worry and doubt. "Don't worry about silly old me."
Truro frowned.
"Well, just so you know that new director of yours, I dislike him greatly. He has no respect for engines, you should be careful," Truro warned and the Scotsman looked dejected.
"I know, I know," he hummed quietly. "He's very different to his father. He seems to resent me. A shame really, he's a bright kid."
"You really should try and help Tornado," Truro advised, seeing that Scott was trying to change the subject. "She’s just a kid, she needs someone to guide her and not that Green Arrow."
"I'll see what I can do."
~~~
"Tornado please," her fireman, Samuel, begged her. "It's been a week."
"If I go out there the other big engines will just harass me," she objected. "I don't want to feel bad every time I go outside. I don't want to be mocked and insulted just for doing nothing wrong."
Tornado had returned to her shed immediately after her near miss with the Flying Scotsman and had adamantly refused to come out again.
Ms Olivia couldn't blame her but her refusal to come out was causing chaos on the railway. Trains had to be rescheduled and her rail tours cancelled.
They had tried to get her friend, Green Arrow, to pull her out of her shed but the V2 hadn't even budged her an inch.
"We need to address the bullying," Olivia said curtly to Sam. "It's gotten out of hand and Tornado is well within her rights to not tolerate such treatment."
Tornado knew that Ms Olivia was right however it still made her feel bad for causing such chaos on the railway.
Apparently City of Birmingham and Clun Castle, had been reprimanded severely and shut in their sheds for the next month for their treatment of her.
All because she'd since refused to come out of her shed. It seemed that her strike was making a statement from what Green Arrow had told her.
What made her anxious most of all had been her encounter with the Flying Scotsman.
She'd made a mistake and she'd insulted him.
Not exactly how she wanted to meet someone who she looked up to. He probably hated her.
Tornado sighed and Olivia came up to her and leaned against her boiler in a comforting way. Olivia had a way of knowing if something was wrong with Tornado.
She wondered if her driver had had or dealt with trouble children like her before.
"Something troubling you little Storm cell?" She asked kindly.
Olivia was a stern woman but she was very patient and gave Tornado a lot more leeway than other engines. She was only a few years old after all, a child.
"I'm sorry for being trouble," Tornado said in a small voice. "I was trying my best but I just can't, I can't handle the other engines. And Flying Scotsman probably hates me now."
"Is that why you won't come out? Because you think Flying Scotsman hates you?"
Tornado didn't say anything but Olivia knew the answer to her question. Tornado had asked her many times about the famous engine. So much so that she knew Olivia was annoyed with her.
"If you were to talk to him and explain what happened, do you think it would fix things?" Olivia asked and Tornado paled in panic.
"No, no, no, I- I-don't want to talk to him!" She stammered nervously. "He's famous and he's probably told everyone about what a useless engine I am!"
"I very much doubt that to be true," Olivia said. "He's known to be a kind engine. He talks to all the little engines, I'm sure he'll be happy to speak with you."
Tornado seemed to shy away from Olivia refusing to speak further.
“At least come out for a washdown,” Olivia urged. “You’ll damage yourself if you’re not cleaned properly.”
Tornado looked at Olivia. Olivia was looking at her with a look of sad desperation in her eyes.
Slowly, Tornado relented.
“Okay Ms Olivia,” she said with a small smile.
“We’ll only be in the yard, you won’t be far. I'll even get Beau to come out and say hi,”  Olivia assured her and Tornado’s smile widened.
She had been lonely locked up in her shed this entire time. Seeing little Beau would be a lovely change.
Ms Olivia saw her engine light up and smiled.
"There you are my happy little Storm Cloud," She beamed at Tornado. "I missed your happy face."
Tornado's smile widened.
~~~
"Hello Cousin!"
Green Arrow inwardly groaned as he heard the Flying Scotsman's voice. He frowned and glanced at the Pacific as he came in with a cheery grin.
Oh how much he wanted to wipe that stupid obnoxious grin of his stupid face.
"Hello Flying Scotsman," Green Arrow returned with a strained smile. "What brings you here from York?"
"Can I not visit my Cousin every now and again?" The Scotsman asked and Green Arrow frowned.
"Not with how busy and important you are," Arrow grumbled and Flying Scotsman gave a small huff.
"True, true," he admitted. "I actually came here to check up on the New Peppercorn, see how she's doing. I fear I may have given her the wrong impression when we first met."
Green Arrow felt a cold feeling in his boiler.
First his promised rebuild, now Scotsman was going to take away his friend.
"No,” Green Arrow suddenly snapped.
"No?" The Flying Scotsman asked incredulously. "What do you mean?"
"She doesn't want to see you," he snapped at Scott. "She's scared of you and all the other engines for making fun of her!"
The Flying Scotsman looked hurt at Arrow's words.
"I truly didn't mean to upset her," Scott said sympathetically. "My fans were cruel to her-"
"Oh go on about how many fans you have please!" Arrow snapped angrily. "Leave Tornado alone you overhyped engine!"
Green Arrow suddenly hissed steam at Scotsman before pulling away without another word.
The Scotsman stared after him before looking at the ground glumly. His encounter with her had truly upset her into staying in her shed for a long while.
He wanted to talk to the young iron but if he intruded on her she'd be even less receptive to him.
He glanced up and saw Green Arrow watching him from a distance glaring at him.
Green Arrow, once a friendly engine, had grown cold and bitter after the new Director Cain had taken his father's place. He knew why. Cain's father had adored Green Arrow and spent a fortune to get him back on the rails.
Cain however hadn't cared less and turned his attention to Scotsman, letting Green Arrow's boiler certificate run out and keeping him locked in a shed.
It was only Cain's father pouring his own money in Green Arrow that had saved him.
It didn't mean he liked the little green engine but he did feel sympathy for him.
"I can try and find Tornado's engineer," Vincent suddenly spoke up. "She is a reasonable person, she might be able to help."
Flying Scotsman had heard of Ms Olivia briefly, she'd been one of the choices to be his engineer after he'd come out of his rebuild but Cain had objected immediately.
It was strange. Cain had seemed to completely reject the woman outright.
He seemed afraid of her.
He watched as Vincent left to speak to the station master while in his cab his fireman seemed flustered.
"What's wrong Oscar?" Flying Scotsman asked and Oscar blushed a deep red.
"Oh it's nothing, don't mind me," Oscar waved his hands around and the Scotsman was suspicious.
"This wouldn't have anything to do with Ms Olivia would it?" Scotsman asked and Oscar tried to hide his face from him. "It does, doesn't it?"
"I like her okay, I worked with her once with Braunton and…" Oscar stopped and turned even redder. "I don't know, I can't explain it, I was just infatuated at first sight."
"How adorable!" The Flying Scotsman cooed and Oscar gestured frantically.
"Shut up!" Oscar snapped angrily and he could just feel the engine grinning mischievously.
Several minutes later Vincent came back.
"Apparently she spoke to Tornado about talking to you to clear things up," Vincent told Scotsman. "But Tornado thinks that you hate her and doesn't want to speak with you."
"Oh." Green Arrow had been right after all.
The Scotsman felt a sinking feeling in his boiler. He didn't hate the young engine. Not at all.
"I don't hate her at all," he said quietly. "But if she doesn't want to talk to me then I will respect her wishes."
Vincent and Oscar looked at each other sadly. They could tell that the famous engine was deeply hurt.
"Shall we go back to York now?" The Flying Scotsman asked and reluctantly, the engine and his crew set off.
~~~
"Feeling better?" A voice asked Tornado as she sat in the sunlight drying off her recent washdown.
Tornado looked over and saw Green Arrow coming up beside her with a small smile.
"A lot better thank-you Arrow," she smiled back at him. "I'm sorry for being such a troublesome engine lately."
"It's alright, I get to pull your trains in the meantime," Green Arrow grinned at her. "It's been years since I got to pull special trains. I missed it."
Tornado hummed happily.
"I'm glad," she said. "I always wondered why you never seem to pull any trains."
"I used to, but then the Flying Scotsman stole my rebuild and I got shoved into a shed to get dusty," he said angrily. His face had turned into a hateful scowl.
"You don't like Flying Scotsman do you?" Tornado pressed and Green Arrow gave a growl of anger.
"I was once the pride of the museum, then they had to go and buy that stupid old unreliable engine," he snarled angrily. "He stole my rebuild and then my trains! He's a good for nothing pompous git!"
Tornado was shocked at how venomous Arrow was becoming. He really didn't like the famous engine.
"The little engines say he's nice to them, they look up to him," Tornado said and Green Arrow gave a snort.
"Little engines are stupid," he snapped and it was Tornado's turn to get angry.
"They are not!" She snapped back angrily. "You don't have to be so rude about them."
"Right, right sorry," Green Arrow hastily backpedalled. "I was joking, sorry Tornado."
"It's okay I just wish the bigger engines would stop bullying everything they see as 'underneath' them," Tornado sighed sadly.
Green Arrow gazed at Tornado for a long while. He remembered his meeting with the Flying Scotsman earlier that day.
He didn't want Flying Scotsman to take Tornado away from him as well.
"I met Flying Scotsman today, he was looking for you," Green Arrow slyly said and Tornado seemed shaken at his words.
"Really? Why would he bother coming out here to see me?"
Green Arrow hesitated.
"He said he wanted to see if the fake peppercorn was as useless as the other engines said. He said that he wanted to laugh at it," Arrow lied through his teeth and he saw Tornado tear up immediately.
"I knew it! He does hate me!" She burst into tears. "He thinks I'm useless!"
Green Arrow quickly moved on to her line and gently touched her buffers.
"It's alright Tornado, you have me," he assured her and Tornado sniffed her tears away. "I told him to go away and he did.!"
"Thank-you Green Arrow," Tornado said with a hopeful smile.
Green Arrow returned the smile but it was hopeful for more insidious reasons.
Hello first off! I love your writing, and I've been on a sudden tf2 hyperfocus especially on Scout so your content? Golden. I usually am hesitant to ask for requests but, if you ever feel up to it, I would love to see your take on Dadgineer and Scout? Thank you so much and happy holidays!!
i would argue the engineer is in a perpetual state of dad but let’s just ramp it up from like a 6 to like an 8 or 9 how abt that
(no warnings)
-
The track of footprints he saw in his workshop first thing when he got out of his truck were a reminder, once again, that he really needed to remember to turn on the security system whenever he went into town.
“Yo, what’s up?” Scout greeted from his place kicked back way too far on one of the shop stools, grinning up from the magazine he was fairly sure he’d left nowhere near that side of the room.
A jab to one of the legs of the stool as he passed by got Scout to squawk and lean it back down to sit properly. He dropped his keys in the tray they belonged to and turned, leveling a stern look at the young man. “Hidy yourself,” he said, tone dry. “Care to tell me why you’re breakin’ into my workshop again, Scooter?”
“Hey, I didn’t break into nothin’, you left the back door unlocked,” Scout protested, tossing the magazine down.
“Well, if you’ve got the time to waste walkin’ all the way around the whole damn building to trespass, you’ve got time to help me unload the truck,” he said, and raised his voice to speak over the immediate groan from Scout. “With minimal backsass, thank you.”
Scout made a face to compensate, but stood up regardless. “No wonder you were gone all freakin’ day, you went all the way into town?” he asked, incredulous as he followed the Engineer out the garage door to the waiting truck. “What’d you head all the way out there for?”
“Xylene,” he shrugged, popping the tailgate down and hefting a canister, handing it off to Scout.
“Hey, good for you, man. Is she nice?” Scout asked as he took the canister with only a bit of a visible struggle lifting it, and it took the Engineer a good five seconds to figure out what the hell he was talking about.
“Xylene ain’t a—it’s not my—it’s paint stripper,” he stammered, flustered, putting down his own canisters to shut the tailgate.
“Look, it’s none of my business if she’s your girlfriend or what, man, let alone her day job,” Scout shrugged, turning to head back in.
“No, not—“ he started to stammer again, and then he caught the way Scout was snickering under his breath and just bapped him on the back of his head with his glove, picking up the other two canisters again and following after him. “Damn fool. Xylene’s just a type of solvent, or paint thinner.”
“So why do you need that?” Scout asked.
“Gonna use it as a cleaner, mostly, then for a bit of help with a few paint jobs I’ve got lined up,” he replied.
“Cool. Like, we talkin’ fences?”
“Nah, nothin’ like that,” the Engineer said, guiding him to set the canisters down to one side of the door.
“I don’t really know shit about paint, besides spray paint,” Scout said, setting the canister down and just barely missing landing it on his own foot, the Engineer flinching a bit at the sight. “Now that I know a thing or two about.”
“Well, you keep your spray paint away from my machines, y’hear? I don’t take kindly to vandalism,” he warned, moving to shut the garage door.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever,” Scout waved off, tugging on his hat.
It was only when he’d finished dusting off his hands that he looked over and realized something. “...Scooter, any particular reason you were in here waiting?” he asked, frowning a bit.
“I mean, nah, not really,” Scout laughed, tugging on his hat a bit more, then finally pulling it off altogether to wring it between his hands, not entirely making eye contact. “Like, it’s not a big deal or nothin’. I just had kind of a weird question, is all. Like, if you’re busy, don’t even worry about it.”
He raised an eyebrow, leaning against one of the workbenches. “Not elbow-deep in anything at the moment,” he said, “I’m all ears.”
Scout nodded, fidgeted. “Uh, guess I was just wonderin’, if uh... so, do you gotta change the oil on a motorcycle?”
“Yup. Regularly,” he nodded.
“Oh. How, uh, how often? Like, how regularly?” he asked, looking a little nervous.
“Yearly, about,” he shrugged. “Every few thousand miles it gets driven. Little more often than the oil on a car.”
“Oh,” Scout said again, and the Engineer’s eyebrows drew together.
“Scooter, are you tellin’ me you’ve never changed the oil on your motorcycle?” he asked, deadpan.
“Uh. Well... yeah,” he admitted.
“How long have you had the thing?” he asked, incredulous.
“Uh. Couple years,” he admitted, more quietly, still not making eye contact.
“Scout,” he admonished, and Scout shrunk a little. “Ain’t you ever had a machine to take care of before? Have you never had a car?”
“I could walk wherever I needed to go in Boston!” he protested. “Or get a ride from a friend or somethin’.”
“So you never had anyone tell you how to change the oil on a car growin’ up?” he asked, outright incredulous.
“Ma doesn’t know shit about cars, you kiddin’? She barely knows how to work the record player and even then she’d call me into the room whenever she wanted to change out the disk,” Scout scoffed.
The Engineer went to ask another question, but managed to stop himself before he could get too far into the sentence ‘What about your dad?’
A beat of silence. “So, uh, yeah, I should probably take that in then, huh?” Scout asked awkwardly.
“Absolutely not,” the Engineer said firmly, and moved over to one of the larger shelves, starting to sift through the tubes and bottles and canisters there. “Your bike’s still parked out ‘round the side of the building by the bread truck, ain’t it?”
“Uh,” Scout said, “yeah, I think?”
“Hold these,” the Engineer said, handing Scout a set of wrenches and starting to load a carrier with bottles. “I’m takin’ you out to show you how to do it yourself, and all the other sorts of maintenance, besides.”
“Woah, hey, c’mon, can’t I just take it into one of those, uh, oil change places?” Scout asked, fumbling for a free hand as he was handed the carrier and a few more tools.
“And have ‘em tell you every third bolt is rusted and you need to replace both tires three times apiece and you gotta rebuild the whole damn thing and then charge you by the hour to do it, no, you’re gonna do it yourself and then you won’t get yourself swindled,” the Engineer said firmly, and gestured at Scout to follow him, taking a few things off his hands when it became clear he’d drop them within five steps. “C’mon, then, let’s go.”
“Uh, okay,” Scout stammered, fumbling further for a moment before hurrying to follow.
And he continued to fumble his way through the process, and through the Engineer’s questions, and on the way back to the workshop again, but nodded with no small amount of enthusiasm when the Engineer suggested he help him next year, too.
So I’m learning how to work on my moped myself, and my friend who rebuilds them directed me to this parts site. (I need a plug tool and a new mounting for my speedometer of lies and deceit*) “It’s an experience,” he told me. It’s a parts site, I thought, how interesting can it be?
Tumblr media
Wow, that’s a splash page.
welcome to treatland, the worlds greatest worst moped discount super disco
Ok, I’m here for this. The dropdown section has the expected tires, engines, etc but also “choose your own adventure” and “party time.” Even the product descriptions are hilarious. A petcock is a switch for turning off fuel flow. Boring right? Not when sold as
the puch maxi PETCOCK EXPERIENCE  take a perilous journey through different petcocks, 3/16" (5mm) fuel line and karcoma fuel filter!! choose your path and end up in a destination beyond your wildest dreams...
We’ve got gloves, aka fly perforated leather fingerless gloves for dudes, or ladies. great for riding mopeds, or typing, or eatin greasy cheese fries on a sorta cold day
And also moped black spark plug caddy - keep your plugs from getting covered in dirt and makeup at the bottom of your purse.
Hey, I feel that one.
I wish Autozone was this fun. I’m probably gonna buy stickers and shit now too, great marketing moped super disco.
*I have a kitted engine that goes faster than what the speedometer indicates, which I'm pretty sure violates DMV rules but being stuck behind Revel scooters would also violate my sanity so the DMV can suck it
Mad Moxxi has a secret that only the best vault hunters know, that only her husbands are privy to, that only her lovers suspect…
Hodunk Years
Moxxi was born a part of the Hodunk clan. She was born and raised in The Dust and there's some part of her that believes that's where she'll go when she dies because all things go to dust in the end, don't they? The thought of it truly disgusts her. She left the place behind and would prefer it stay in her past.
At the age of 15, Moxxi found herself pregnant after a whirlwind weekend with a member of the Zaford clan. It was at this point that Jimbo Hodunk took her under his wing and decided to raise Ellie as his own in an effort to keep Moxxi part of the clan. By the time the two were 18, they decided that marriage was in their cards and Moxxi took up well with him. Within a year, she gave birth to a boy who was quickly named Scooter and Moxxi found herself thankful that he looked enough like his older sister that Ellie could truly be passed as a Hodunk daughter. By the time she was 22, Moxxi had two more children, both sons, with Jimbo Hodunk. However, after the death of her third born in an accident at the Hodunk Speedway at the age of four, she swore off more children, unable to handle the idea of losing another.
On her 30th birthday, Jimbo pulled her aside and reminded her that he knew her secret, that he know she had betrayed the clan with a member of the Zaford's fifteen years before. He had waited fifteen years to make sure she would pay for her transgressions, fifteen years to inform her that her only daughter would be branded as the clan wife. It was then that Moxxi knew it was time to get the fuck out of dodge with her kids. She fled with Ellie and Scooter in tow, her youngest son begging to be left behind and, as much as she wanted him to come with her, she couldn't risk a screaming child when she was trying to sneak out in the middle of the night.
Shotgun Weddings
She found herself under the protection of a man named David Shank. Once again mistaking care and convenience for love, Moxxi quickly married him and found herself... miserable with a man who was far from interested in women. She became a trophy, a cover, and was often pushed to the side in favor of a man. For a while, this was fine. It gave her time to take care of her children and heal herself, to build walls she became known for later in her life. But it was when she found her husband using their marital bed for one of his affairs that she drew the line. It wasn't that his preference bothered her, it was the fact that he had lied to her, was lying to himself everytime she was introduced as the love of his life. In an effort to help him find himself, Moxxi left with a broken heart and the hope that he would learn to be comfortable in his own skin with whomever he wanted. Even after hiring a Vault Hunter to kill him because of his capture of Athena, Moxxi mourned the loss, wishing things could have been different.
It wasn't long before she found her way to New Haven, a sanctuary of sorts. Somewhere she could hide out and know the Hodunks would never get to her. She could let her kids thrive, both of them showing a talent for engineering like good old mom. She could be proud and could rewrite her own story.
New Haven became home. Somewhere she could become Mad Moxxi, a woman sure of herself, confident, and beautiful. She could tuck away all traces of the Hodunk clan except for the heart tattooed onto her chest and even that began to take up a new meaning. She even found love. Or something close to it. Marcus Kincaid was an arm's dealer... good with his hands and good with numbers. He seemed ideal. And for a while, he was. She helped him build his weapon's empire, helped him see how to make sure he was underestimated so that he always had the upper hand. She took care of him and he returned the favor.
But the third time wasn't the charm and they went their separate ways when she realized she would always come second to his money. She could handle being second to a business, but being second to money... something that could be put away and hid in a safe. She refused to let that be put ahead of her. So she left and pursued her own business... determined to make that her new husband.
Red Light & The Underdome
Being married to an arm's dealer in the heart of pandora meant that Moxxi got a taste for watching people tear each other apart. And what better way to satiate that thirst than opening an arena? And open an arena she did. Moxxi's Underdome would become the most well known arena in all of Pandora. People came from far and wide to compete and complete the Underdome challenges. Though, only one Pandoran is known to have done so. A vault hunter by the name of Mordecai who earned her affections in doing so. A relationship that would be short lived, but fondly remembered.
In line with the Underdome, Moxxi opened her first bar, Moxxi's Red Light. It was based in burlesque glamor and became a popular place for those traveling through the Fathoms. She was proud of her bar. Proud of what it had the potential to be. And then she decided to hide an ex Lance Assassin from her ex husband and his lovely band of bandits. She should have known that they would come for Athena, that they wouldn't care about the state of her bar. But it didn't change the absolute heartbreak caused by seeing her bar in complete disarray and littered with the bodies and blood of bandits.
Handsome Jack
It was the Underdome that brought Handsome Jack into her life. A low level Hyperion programmer, he was attractive, funny, and everything else she had been missing in previous relationships. Things had been good in the beginning. He had been fun and interested in everything she was doing. Hell, he had helped her find a place for a new bar. He seemed to be what she'd been looking for ever since leaving the Hodunks, but she could feel something was off about him. Something she couldn't quite put her finger on. He wanted more than Pandora had to offer, more than his position had to offer, and seemingly more than she had to offer.
And still she believed in his love for her.
She maintained her Underdome and her Underdome only for the first year of their relationship. But her heart still belonged to the stories told in bars. So in the midst of the whirlwind of her life, she opened the Up Over Bar in Concordia with support from Jack. While it was her pride, her Underdome remained her joy. But she wasn't sure she could function without either of them. Most of her time was still spent in the Underdome, announcing fights and providing as much commentary as possible, relishing the attention from the crowd.
It was the love of her Underdome that had her blinded to the man Jack was becoming for so long. He wasn't the man she had fallen in love with. He had become cold, distant, almost scary. She always trusted her gut, something she had always kept in the back of her mind. And something told her to run. To get as far away as she could before there was no turning back. And in return? Jack destroyed her joy... blowing up the Underdome in revenge for her leaving.
Sanctuary and Beyond
Recognizing the danger that Handsome Jack presented, she shut the doors of the Up Over Bar and fled to Sanctuary, reconnecting with the Crimson Raiders, Marcus, and her children. Her relationship with Jack was something that few discussed, something that left a stain on her heart and built her walls higher than before. She dumped herself into building Moxxxi's, a bar that would become the central gathering area in Sanctuary. She poured everything she had into it, making it somewhere to be proud of. She was going to make it work.
For two years, Moxxxi's ran successfully. Between Crimson Raiders and Vault Hunters and refugees who had fallen victim to Jack, there was no shortage of business, no shortage of customers. And then Colonel Hector and his band of Dahl soldiers showed up to take a vault key and Sanctuary. At least this time she had the clothes on her back and friends around her which left her able to rebuild even after Sanctuary was destroyed in the following fight.
Sanctuary had truly become home. A real home. So when Lillith asked her to join them as they hunted new vaults, tried to make sense of the map the key had given them, she had agreed under the condition that she could run the ship's bar. She helped turn Sanctuary III into a place that people didn't mind living despite the fact that it was forced, that there was no choice, and that it was the only place they were all safe. But she tried. She tried to make them feel like there was still hospitality left in the universe that they were floating through.
She became the ship mom in a way, taking in those who had been left without a home, those who had fled clans and corporations, letting them all tell their stories at her bar while she listened and poured what little she had for them to drink.
But once things settled down, once the Calypso twins were dead and gone, Moxxi turned her sights to a prize that had only seemed a dream. The Handsome Jackpot, a casino that Jack had originally built for her. A casino that used her designs. A casino that took up an entire damn space station and she wanted it back. She wanted to finally get over him, finally let go of everything she had held for him. And that casino was the way to do it. And what Moxxi wants? Moxxi gets.
Moxxi now splits her time between the newly acquired Moxxxi's Big Score and Sanctuary.
The History of Vespa Scooters, The World's Favorite 2 Wheeler
Tumblr media
   The Vespa line of scooters is one of the most popular personal transportation devices to ever hit the market. The history of Vespa scooters is one that is as unlikely as it is fascinating. The Vespa line started out as a single scooter model in 1946. The brand was created then and is still manufactured by Piaggio & Co. S.P.A. Of Pontedera, Italy. It has quickly become the most widely recognized and popular scooter brand in all of Europe and the fourth largest selling scooter brand in the world in total units sales. Today Vespa is a freestanding brand plate and is one of seven family companies owned and operated by the Piaggio Corporation. So how did one humble scooter model, designed for the working class housewife and teenage turn into the best known two wheeled vehicle name in the world? Following WWII The economy of Italy was in as bad a shape as the infrastructure of the country. The Piaggio Company, which had been previously one of the largest companies in the countries aviation industry. The restriction placed n the country by the cease fire with the allies to limit military activities greatly reduced the nation's ability to produce aircraft. This along with the completely destruction of the company's primary manufacturing plant due to bombings led the ownership to reevaluate their business model. The companies president Enrico Piaggio, the oldest son of the original founder, Rinaldo Piaggio, decided that he could best help his company, his family and his nation by moving the firm into a position to address a dire need Italy was facing, low cost, reliable and modern transportation. This was going to be vital to the rebuilding of the nation. He decided that due to the horrible state of Italy's roads and the large number of people who would be needing a way to get around, the best option would be a 2 wheel vehicle similar to a motorcycle but with a more practical design and easier to ride. If you enjoyed this article and you would certainly such as to receive additional details relating to Elektrische step kindly see our website. Piaggio actually borrowed the original concept for the Vespa from the Cushman Company of Nebraska, USA. The Unibody construction was a perfect match for the vehicle that he envisioned. The Cushman Scooter had been brought into the country as field transportation for the United States Marine Corp by Washington and was very common place to see after the war. Piaggio was inspired by the sweeping front, the flat foot board and the large chair style seat. His concept made a few changes such as moving the headlamp up above the cowling and enclosing the engine inside of a dust shield to keep it out of view. The original Vespa was a huge success right from the start, despite the fact that everyone thought Piaggio was crazy for building them. Soon cities all over Italy seemed to be overrun with the brightly colored pressed metal scooters. They were economical and easy to ride and they made getting around for the daily chores more efficient. With the roads still in a sorry state, the 2 wheel design was able to go places that a car could not and they were able to be parked in alleyways and enclaves. Within a few short years the Vespa was everywhere. The single model grew into a wide variety of formats some geared to working men, some to housewives and some to college students. By the late 1960's, the Vespa had become a major export for Italy and the unique and fun little scooters were starting to show up in more European and Asian countries. By 1970 it was estimated that one out of every four households in Italy owned a Vespa, over 40% of the population of Paris had one, they were the largest selling form of transportation in Bangkok, and more than 1/3 of the college age people of London either owned a Vespa themselves or regularly used one owned by a friend. Over the next three decades the Vespa continued to move around the world and dominated every market that it was introduced in. The scooter coon became something of a cult icon among the young people of Europe in the 1980's and those teenagers who traveled oversees during spring break and summer trips fell in love and started begging mom and dad to import one back to the states for them. This was due to the fact that in 1981 the importer of Vespa to the US had gone bankrupt and until 2001 you could not buy a Vespa directly in the United States. This led to a niche market for personal importing from Europe and made the Vespa a status symbol of high schoolers all over the nation. The Vespa has been a popular choice for people of all walks of life for more than half a century and it does not seem that the history of Vespa scooters will be coming to an end any time soon. Today, the Vespa is the world best known scooter brand and owning one has become as much a fashion trend as anything coming of the runways of Milan. Indeed the unlikely vehicle, born out of war and designed for survival is probably the most well-known product Italy has ever produced.
Honda Phantom Ta200 Specification
Honda Phantom Ta200 Workshop Manual
Service Manual: The Honda Phantom TA200 is a single cylinder Thai-made 'chopper' motorcycle. It is known in Australia as the TA Shadow. Overall design is very similar to the Honda TA150. The major differences are that the TA200 contains a 4 stroke engine and higher engine displacement. View and Download Honda 86-87 TA200 FATCAT service manual online. 86-87 TA200 FATCAT motorcycle pdf manual download. Hi, Vk6cba166 for this scenario you will need your service manual, parts fiche, and owners manual if you can't find the best tool you ever bought for your Honda, despair not, for.
Question:
What are the recommended tyre (tire) pressures for my Phantom? {Sandy, Thailand 2008 Honda Phantom 200}
Answer:
The problem with locating information about this model is that it is not produced for the US or Canadian markets. At the time of this page’s creation, it appears to be sold in the Asian markets of Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore. So I am limited in what information I can find.
The Honda Phantom 200 is one of the most popular cruiser style bikes in Thailand. Its 200cc single cylinder engine delivers a surprising amount of power. It is extremely economical, reliable and comfortable to ride, with exceptional handling and braking. From what information I can locate it gets 35 km/l {about 85 mpg}.
It would probably be considered a Scooter in the US even though it is styled after a standard cruiser streetbike.
Here are the technical specifications I was able to locate for it.
Honda Asian Model Code: TA200 Engine Type: 4 stroke, SOHC Volume Engine: 196.9 CC Bore x Stroke: 63.5 x 62.2 mm Cooling System: Air Compression ratio: 9.0: 1 Transmission: 6 speed Ignition system: CDI Spark Plug: DPR8EA-9 (NGK) or X24EPR-U9 (DENSO) Dimension (LxWxH): 775 x 2256 x 1085 mm The wheel axis distance: 1505 mm Empty weight: 140 kg Suspension Front: Telescopic Rear Suspension: Dual Rear Shock Absorbers Brakes Front: Disc Brake (Dual piston caliper) Rear brake: Disc Brake (Dual piston caliper) Tires Front: 90 / 90 x 17 M / C Load Rating: 49P (tubeless) Rear tire: 130 / 90 x 15 M / C Load Rating: 66P (tubeless) Tank Capacity: 11.2 Liters Electrical: MF 12 Volt – 4.5 Ah
Tire pressures are listed in the owner’s manual. If you do not have the manual for your Phantom 200, I would recommend the same thing that I recommend for most US scooter and motorcycle models. Inflate your tires to 5 lbs under the maximum tire pressure listed on the tire sidewall.
Honda Phantom TA200ManufacturerHondaManualsService Manual
The Honda Phantom TA200 is a single cylinder Thai-made 'chopper' motorcycle. It is known in Australia as the TA Shadow.
Overall design is very similar to the Honda TA150. The major differences are that the TA200 contains a 4 stroke engine and higher engine displacement.
This motorcycle is very popular in Singapore due to it being one of the few cruisers available for a class 2B license (the most basic motorcycle license in Singapore). Class 2B license holders are only allowed to ride motorcycles with displacement below 200cc, and the Phantom TA 200 fits in nicely with a 197cc engine.
If purchased new Honda has a 3 year protection guarantee
John Ackerman vs Autovac Bot Distributor
Tumblr media
Since 2012, Aetis Sdn Bhd was Awarded the Authorized Distributor by John Ackerman Pte Ltd (Singapore) for the iRobot brand within Malaysia. They have helped make awareness among Malaysians that using a robot vacuum cleaner in home could significantly improve life quality.
As John Ackerman concentrates on their business in Singapore, they rely on Aetis to provide sales and later sales service for iRobot clients. After few years, John Ackerman climbed challenging and terminated Aetis Sdn Bhd rights as approved distributor. John Ackerman set up an office in iRobot Empire Subang Jaya (SOHO). Aetis was place to dry. Aetis shortly ventured into selling other items like inkjet printers, canvas printing, smart door lock, along with unicycle or scooters. They still continue to provide later sales service to their previous customers before the takeover.
While all this is occurring, AutoVac Bot tries to disrupt the iRobot market by providing 2 Years Warranty and also beating the high price set by the Authorized Distributor. They look specializing in robotic vacuums only.
Update: It seems the John Ackerman has exited the iRobot market in Malaysia. Currently we're not sure who is your Authorized Distributor for the iRobot brandnew. But from what we gather, AutoVac Bot is still striving strong providing outstanding price and service to its clients.
Tumblr media
It was an extremely late adopter of robot vacuums. The first iRobot ruin shops 15 years before I eventually buy a robot vacuum cleaner for my own home. During I did, I moved low price: I bought an inexpensive vacuum without any mapping capabilities from Amazon. This low price robot vacuum cleaner has served me well, even if it does only bump on every side the room till its battery runs out. I still don't believe that robot vacuums would rebuild a true weekly vacuuming, but my little bot has surprised me with its ability to suck up dust and debris.
IRobot's Roomba i7+ is about the specific opposite spectrum of robot vacuums in the one I own. If the low price robot that I have is a Kia, the i7+ is the Cadillac of robot vacuums. It would map my whole home. It would be controlled by means of a voice assistant or by a smartphone program anywhere on the planet. It would even empty its own bin. Additionally, it prices RM 4950, which is five times extra than the robot vacuum cleaner I buy. IRobot also sells an i7 type which has identical cleaning capabilities but doesn't come with the exceptional automatic bin-emptying base to get a couple hundred bucks less, but that is a bit such as buying a base type BMW.
The i7+ is certainly the future of robot pruning that is available in the present. However there are still things I'd such as to sight enhanced.
Tumblr media
The i7+ is an update to iRobot's high-end Roomba 980 from 3 decades back. The 980 was effective at mapping a distance and economically cleaning it, but it would discard the maps later each cleaning session and then reconstruct them from scratch each time. The i7+ upgrades this feature in a significant way: it can at the moment save the maps it creates and also make use of them to improve its own cleaning patterns. Additionally, it enables me to name various rooms in my home so I can tell the vacuum cleaner to specifically clean a particular space and ignore others.
I can manage as much as 10 heavy floor plans in Roomba's program for iOS and Android, and that I can control the vacuum through voice commands to Alexa, Google Assistant, or in the program itself. My home has 3 floors, and that I can make use of the program to sight every ground and what rooms are in it. When I place the robot on a heavy floor than its home base, it uses the various sensors and cameras on it to identify which floor it is on automatically and load the right maps. Regrettably, it can't yet climb the stairs to obtain to heavy flooring; I still have to pick this up and carry it such as a philistine.
Seeing the i7+ wash a floor is a mesmerizing experience, and it is wildly heavy from the way the non-mapping vacuum cleaner gets the job done. Instead of only randomly crisscrossing the room before it runs out of steam, the i7+ follows a logistical and predictable pattern, almost such as the way the lawn care professional trims a field before a sporting event. It will wash an whole area before continuing on to another one, also if its battery runs low or its bin fills up before it is finished, it will remember where it stopped and return to this spot when it is recharged. It's very satisfying to watch it perform its own job, and if you are running a cleaning cycle, the predictability of this means you can safely maneuver on every side the vacuum without really needing to be concerned regarding getting in its own way.
IRobot says it requires 2 to 3 cleaning runs to get your i7+ to"learn" the room and produce a map, which is regarding what I watched in my testing. My main floor, which has 3 bigger rooms at a mostly open program, has been implicated in 2 runs, while the upstairs floor with numerous bedrooms, bathrooms, and hallways took extra runs to fully map. Once a flooring is mapped, the program will attempt to identify particular rooms, but you would correct the virtual boundaries and then name them later it is tried to sort them out. From that point, you would tell Alexa or Google Assistant to wash a particular area with voice commands. Should you go furniture or otherwise reconfigure a space, the i7+ will correct its map the next time it runs a cleaning job and update its own database.
Tumblr media
IRobot claims these mapping skills not only confirm that the Roomba cleans the whole ground before consuming, but in addition, it allows it to wash at a quicker, extra efficient way since it already knows what regions it has protected and what's yet to be done.
The program also has the usual scheduling options and battery-monitoring features. Unique to the i7+ would be the reports later it has finished a job: it can tell me how many square feet it cleaned, the number of"dirt events" there were, and how lengthy it took to finish the job. Additionally, it shows me an overview of all the places it ruin during the cleaning run. But smart mapping isn't the only luxury feature in the i7+, in addition, it can automatically empty its own bin. The i7+ has a unique charging base that stinks all of the dust and dirt out of the vacuum and sets it into a sealed disposable tote. The tote in the base holds 30 bins filled with grime, and you can purchase a three-pack of replacement bags for RM 180 when you have gone through the 2 that the iRobot comes with.
youtube
This network has 2 advantages over the normal way you drain a robot vacuum cleaner: it eliminates placing the dust back into the air when you hit the bin into the garbage can, and it means you just need to think regarding draining it each month or so, rather than each time it runs. Obviously, the disadvantage to this is that the base is a lot bigger than a standard charging base, the totes are an extra price that you have to shoulder, and also the procedure for sucking the dirt out of the vacuum is very loud.
That leads me into the disadvantage of the i7+. IRobot says that the new vacuum is quieter than the 980 it replaces, but this is not a silent vacuum. It's much louder than the simple robot vacuum cleaner I am understand with, and also the cleaning base sounds such as a jet engine when it sucks the dirt out of the i7+. Should you such as to program your robot to operate at the middle of the night when everybody is sleeping, then you may find it to be too loud when cleaning and draining. IRobot states that the i7+ has 10 times the suction power of its base models, but the price of all the electricity is extra noise.
The i7+ also requires few light in the rooms where it is running so for its various cameras and sensors to operate, so running it in a dark room overnight isn't the most effective method to make use of it. And finally, though the i7+ got stuck far less often than my dumb robot at the months I have been analyzing it, it still has difficulty using high-pile carpeting. The shag rug runner in my upstairs hallway was shown to be especially tricky for the robot to work out, and it has stuck on the carpet virtually each time that it ran it over, necessitating a guide intervention and reset.
The Roomba i7+ is an impressive robot vacuum cleaner with distinctive features which you won't find on lesser models. I don't necessarily think it's worth five times the price of a typical vacuum, but once this automation trickles down to lower-end models, it will be very nice to have. Now, if only robot vacuums could come up with a way to climb stairs.
Conclusion:
With the iRobot market becoming extra aggressive with Lazada and also Shopee, it is definitely good news for the end consumer such as us. We'll obtain greater prices and deals for iRobot items like Roomba and Braava.
With John Ackerman exiting the Malaysia market, it seems that we're place with AutoVac Bot, Kimi Robot Store, and a new competitor, OhMyMi.
Personally, I think that AutoVac Bot is your top iRobot distributor right now, as they are highly concentrated on distributing iRobot goods in Malaysia.
What I such as top regarding AutoVac Bot is that their simplicity of purchase on the website, and very fast response time through livechat on their website. They have been moving in the Singapore market and I am so eager to sight how it ends up. OhMyMi is a new kid in town. We'll need to sight how it goes on.
I'm rather fond of an au where Asami isn't a fighter. She'd be the diplomat, businesswoman and engineer of the group. Maybe it's because I like non action heroes. And that goes double to the ones who have superpowers. No,said superpowers don't have to be combat oriented. Like the lightning benders from Korra. Your Airbender Two is a prime example of that. He's a very skilled engineer,now imagine what he's going to do with bending. I've studied geology,and I'm now imagining what an earthbender...
… Could do. Toph herself invented metalbending. If we’re going to consider waterbending,Katara and Toph purified polluted waters. Not to mention the healing. Now,back to my main point. That’s a thing I like about Sokka. His biggest asset are his tactical(combat oriented,but still)/engineering skills, especially considering that he didn’t get education.
I’m totally with you, Nonnie. I love non-fighter hero characters and I wish we got more of them. I love the non-powered scientists who could upgrade themselves through their science, but instead choose to build cool gadgets to protect and save others, I love engineers, doctors, clever diplomats, female politicians, artists, the everyday heroes finding their own way in a world of powers or magic. I love smart people figuring out brilliant solutions on the fly with everyday objects.
Sokka is a great example - for me the most important part of his arc is figuring out that he doesn’t have to be the type of warrior that is the norm in the Water Tribe. He can find his own way to lead, and his smarts and his heart are not any less contribution to the group than the others’ bending.
Tumblr media
And I think it’s quite important to get those types of female characters. Awesome female representation in media a lot of the times involves taking a girl and giving them traditionally male qualities - especially great fighting skills - and say, here is your girl hero. While that’s cool, we also need the more traditionally female qualities elevated to hero level and give us non-fighting, nurturing heroes who are every bit as brave and every bit as important as the fighters.
 In ATLA, all the main female characters without exception are top-notch fighters. And while with Katara they emphasize more traditionally female attributes as well, she’s not only an awesome fighter, but a great healer, and a nurturing Team Mom, she still defines herself mostly as a fighter.  That’s why I kind of warmed up to Yue’s character (who I couldn’t stand initially) - she was one of the few non-fighter characters who had every bit the backbone and heroism of a fighter and she saved the world without any fighting.
Tumblr media
And I agree, seeing Asami contribute more through science and business would have been awesome. Well, more plot-relevant Asami would have been great - I was really interested in seeing more of her, her relationship with her dad, rebuilding her company, etc.
I also agree with the non-fighting use of bending. That’s why I love that Aang’s main contribution to airbending isn’t a fighting move, but something silly like the air scooter (actually every time he learns a new skill, his first instinct is to use it for something cool). And while Katara initially doesn’t really appreciate the healing, in the end her healing Aang and Zuko are every bit as important to world peace as is her fighting. I love when Zuko uses his firebending that one time with Jin solely for fun, when Toph makes an elaborate sand-Ba Sing Se, just because she can and don’t forget about Iroh, who 90% of the show uses his uber-bending to make tea.
Tumblr media
I think if we got a S4 of ATLA; a big part of the story could have been peacetime bending - to use bending to clean up rivers, rebuild cities, heal, rediscover bending as an art or for fun. It also would have made sense for the characters to become less defined by their fighting and more with whatever roles they choose to play in the peace-time word. The story of child-soldiers putting down their weapons, and I would have been there all for it.
