Public schools are a public investment. They are not a christian religious school indoctrinating religious opinions.
Public money does not build churches. Public policy has no influence over church doctrine.
See how the separation works?

The misinformation and propaganda from the right astronomical!!! Donald Trump is just as uninformed, trapped in an echo chamber of sycophantic ideologues, who’s ill intent is only superseded by their own self serving aspirations, a chasm void of truth and integrity, where their own misguided theology transmutes into a self fulfilling prophecy ripe with hypocrisy and cruelty, abstaining any honor or values, adhering to an arrogant and false sense worth, dubiously ignoring their unamerican and seditious behavior broadcasted nightly under a pathetic guise they call news, as his maga followers are.
Another thing.
The tumor metastasizing through the soul of America, spreading with devastating consequences into the very skeletal structure of our republic and its democratic principles can be linked to a handful of compounds rooted in the same contaminant. Christian conservatism. This cancer is actively breaking down that which was the potent immunity this nation had against tyranny. Groups such as The Heritage Foundation, CPAC, The Federalist Society, Focus on the Family, and so many more use their religious freedom as the sword and the shield to attack democracy, equality, unity and progress while simultaneously molesting that constitutional right as a guard against any criticism or accountability, conducting immoral and heinous actions then seeking forgiveness after the fact, justified in their confessions while preparing to commit the same atrocities upon others in the solace of repeating the same confessional.
If the church is involved in politics, they can pay taxes..

Always be wary of people who want to restrict your access to information. There are never good intentions behind that. People who are confident they’re correct are not going to discourage you from educating yourself about what the other side says.
As an atheist, I hate The Bible, Quran, Tanaka and all other religious books, they’re racist, misogynistic garbage. However, I still think these books should be accessible for all, studies show that the people most educated about religion actually lean agnostic or atheist. If religious people actually read their entire religious book(s), instead of only their favorite parts of the book(s), many people would leave their religion, religion is a symptom of a combination of people not being informed enough about what religious people believe and not reading enough of their religious books. Reading religious books is also beneficial not just for people who are religious, that may deconvert the more they become educated, but people who are already atheists too, the more we read, the easier it is to debunk the disinformation and misinformation that religious people spread.
As a radical feminist, I also dislike transgender ideology, however, if you’re a radical feminist, I will actively encourage you to read books that have a pro-transgender stance, listen to transgender voices and scroll through social media and view pro-transgender rhetoric. Similar to religious people, I think the more transgender people and their allies talk, the more they expose themselves as being unsympathetic, misogynistic, victim-blamers, lacking thoughtfulness, etc.

The principle of separating church and state is a cornerstone of American democracy. Although the Constitution does not say “separation of church and state” outright, the First Amendment makes it clear. It tells us that Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting its free exercise. Thomas Jefferson once wrote about a wall of separation between church and state to protect our freedom. In a time when religious influence often seeps into public policy, it is more important than ever to honor this promise.
What do you think is the best way to protect this fundamental principle?

Record Group 21: Records of District Courts of the United StatesSeries: Civil Case FilesFile Unit: 69CA109: Madalyn Murray O'Hair and Richard F. O'Hair v. Thomas O. Paine
UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT
WESTERN DISTRICT OF TEXAS
AUSTIN DIVISION
Filed Dec 1 1969 Dan W. Benedict, Clerk
by W E Lyons Deputy
MADALYN MURRAY O'HAIR, ET AL. (brackets)
VS. (brackets)
THOMAS O. PAINE, ET AL. (brackets)
CIVIL ACTION NO. A-69-CA-109
MEMORANDUM OPINION
This is an action brought by Madalyn Murray O'Hair,
Richard F. O'Hair and the Society of Separationists, Inc., against
Thomas O. Paine, individually and as Administrator of the National
Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The plaintiffs are
seeking an order enjoining NASA from (1) doing any act whatsoever
which abridges the plaintiffs' freedom from religion or establishes
Christianity as the official religion of the United States, and
(2) enforcing any policy or regulation which has been heretofore
promulgated and which has such above effect. The plaintiffs
also seek a temporary restraining order enjoining the defendants'
"from doing any act whatsoever which restricts or abridges plaintiffs'
freedom from religion and specifically enjoining NASA and its
administrator and and personnel from further directing or permitting
religious activities, or ceremonies and especially the reading
of the sectarian Christian religion Bible and from prayer reci-
tation in space and in relation to all future space flight activity."
Jurisdication of the case is founded upon 28 U.S.C. 1346 (a) (2).
Upon request of the plaintiffs, a three-judge court was
convened in accordance with Jackson v. Choate, (name is underlined) 404 F.2d 910
(5 Cir., 1968). That Court, consisting of the United States Circuit
Judge Homer Thornberry, United States District Judge Adrian A. Spears,
and United States District Judge Jack Roberts, determined that this
case was not properly a three-judge matter. Sardino v. Federal Re-
serve Bank of New York, 361 F.2d 106 (2 Cir. 1966); Pennsylvania
Public Utility Commission v. Pennsylvania Railroad Co., 383 U.S. 281
(1965). The case was accordingly remanded to Judge Roberts of
decision.
The various plaintiffs are atheists, deists, and believers
in the complete separation of church and state. They have asserted
the right to bring suit in two separate grounds: (1) taxpayer status; [complete document and transcription at link]

Anti-Choicers are so hypocritical they should be ashamed of themselves. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a group of people advocate in favor of killing people more than Anti-Choicers. When they’re not outright advocating for murdering people they disagree with all they do is complain about children receiving free school lunches and about how free healthcare shouldn’t be a thing because “muh tax dollars” yet will happily fork over some money to pay those Trump tariffs and are the most war hungry people on the planet.
