Welcome Home by @partycoffin is right up my alley and has been consuming my thoughts for the past month. Finally bit the bullet and started making some fanart of this Silly Guy!
I have some ideas for actual videos (ooh hoo hoo!) to make down the road dedicated to this wonderful project, but for now have this art and the spotify playlist I’ve been making based on it!

I've been loving your worldbuilding/culture/science stuff— and I haven't even watched VLD. I just found your stuff incredibly neat. I think you mentioned that someone can rise to being Emperor from any of the Three Pillars of Galran society— except for the Archivist. Is the Archivist barred from being the Imperial Consort as well, or is the path available for them? Has there ever been Emperors/Empresses that rose to the position from the Druids side of things?
imperial societal structure | duties of the imperial consort | kral zera eligibility
I'm pleased to know that you're enjoying my worldbuilding(!!!) despite not having watched the show lmao
Though there have been monarchs from all three pillars of imperial society since the Empire's formation under Brodar, of the 33 to have triumphed at the Kral Zera and ascended the Imperial throne, the overwhelming majority have done so via the military sphere, with only 7 successful candidates ascending via the State, and a mere 4 via the Church.
((and I do think it's worth mentioning that though the Druidic Church's primary doctrine is an amalgamation of Druae & D’iijac—the two most prevalent belief systems from Daibazaal's desertous phenotypes, Kyx & Byal respectively—the Church as a whole practices complete religious freedom so long as to do so does not violate imperial law, meaning eligibility for the Kral Zera is not restricted only to High Priests/Priestesses of the galra's most prevalent faith, but anyone holding an equal rank in any alternative religious sect))
Interestingly, though the Church has produced the lowest numbers of monarchs, it’s also produced the least unsuccessful candidates! Some believe this to be due to Sa favouring her blessed few, and so ensuring their triumph, whereas others argue for a somewhat less romantic notion: that druidic quintessence-manipulation is exceedingly difficult to counter, especially when participating in a battle-royale, and so the victory of a skilled druidic combatant is a foregone conclusion.
As for the Archivist becoming the Imperial Consort, though it’s never before occurred, there's no explicit rule barring them from serving both roles; it would, however, be discouraged by,,, pretty much everyone? Both positions are a HUGE commitment, and between serving as the Conduit of Sa, and the secondary Head of State, the Archivist/Consort would end up so thinly spread that they’d rarely see their Emperor/lover in an unofficial capacity. As you can imagine, the kind of pressure that would come with maintaining both roles would take an incredible toll on not only them as an individual, but their relationship too... and unhappy/lonely galra are seldom the strong leaders a demanding institution such as the Empire requires.
Shared Progress and Prosperity based on global solidarity.
The International Human Solidarity Day serves to remind us about the importance of solidarity for the achievement of the international agreements on social development, including programmes of action of international conferences and multilateral accords.
“By adopting the historic 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, world leaders expressed their resolve to seek shared progress and prosperity based on a spirit of global solidarity.” Ban Ki-moon

||. one whole "today years old" post!ragnarok and hela's reveal. Except, even then, according to the movie, not really because Thor is still in heavy denial about all of it where Odin is concerned. I've spoken a bit (here) about how Thor adores his family; he idolizes them and views them through blinding rose-colored glasses, (especially when they're deceased) and that is especially true of his circumstances.
So, very often times when the truth clashes with the rose-colored view of them (namely: his father), Thor does one of two things: find a way to justify the words or action with the surrounding context of the time to make it make sense (e.g., well he scolded me harshly because i was talking back), or avoid it altogether. (this is his go-to. no talking about it; thor would rather not right now, so he does not.)
Key example being: he would rather focus on how his father changed his ways, and the Odin that he knew and grew up with was a man who had turned away from pursuing war for war's sake, and was instead one who valued peace and life. He would rather focus on that aspect of Odin, and take in the broader picture of Odin's life. REGARDLESS of the fact that what Thor is deeply, personally affected - not with the realization that Odin changed his ways once upon a time - but by the fact that he lied to him, manipulated him, and controlled and shaped every aspect of his being, for Thor's whole life, JUST to avoid another Hela. Someone who Thor is not, could not be farther from, and never knew about, because Odin (apparently) kept the matter of his true first-born a closely-guarded secret and seemingly would have continued to were it not for Odin's death, Hela's escape, and Ragnarok all coinciding at the same moment in time.
And this, all because Thor rationalizes it as "well, I wouldn't want to be remembered and judged based on the person that I used to be. I should extend that same kindness to my father, because he too, changed." (x10 because now Odin is dead. And it's in poor-taste to speak ill of a dead man.)
The problem namely being: Thor only talks about things when Thor decides it's time to talk about things ; when he is ready. ...but as this is a topic that ripple effects down to Thor's core, good luck getting him to open up about it, even just with himself.
I think one of my worst opinions is that i just don't respect most visual artists on the internet, or take their alleged problems seriously, or sympathize w their desires, because their art looks mostly bad to me.
like for sure everyone deserves to live at a certain standard and have their needs met, but thats bc that is their right as a person and not bc of the value of the generic cartoons that they draw
Considering how little privacy there probably is on the ship, it would have to be somewhere on main land or when the rest of the crew are below deck. Maybe they get in one of the row boats and tether to the ship to be pulled along behind it. The crows nest may be cramped, but at least it's higher up and away from the crowd.
Or when they make port, they go off somewhere with the time they have before departure. It's a lot of wanting privacy together for a bit. Nothing fancy or extravagant. It looks more like them doing everyday things with each other.
