2. Favorite Song Character: This is SO HARDDDD UGGHHH…..I love them all so much grrrrrr

I’m gonna narrow this down for myself to songs ABOUT a character, and then go from there, because I could argue with myself about this for hours. Because while Macavity slaps, Macavity would slap. Me. In the face. With his claws.

I’m gonna have to be a lil basic and go with Mistoffelees :). I just….love him lots…..and Tugger is always so fucking excited to sing about his special guy…..

8. Favorite Make-up: Oooo good question……I have a couple favorites (that aren’t from 1998 because let’s be honest I could rant about 1998 makeup forever (even though it’s the most subdued)).

Off of the top of my head, Tugger from Hamburg 1991, Jellylorum from Macskák 2001 I believe? (I think it’s Hungary, either in 2000 or 2001), Skimble and Misto from Mexico’s tours in 2013, Macavity from Buenos Aires and Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer from what I THINK is a Canadian tour.

I’ll put pictures of all these guys under the cut, I ADORE the makeup in these shows, and there are a ton more that I didn’t bring up.

9. Favorite song?: Another hard fucking question 😭😭😭 why would you do this to bestie. I don’t think I can pick a favorite, (the only song I actively am not the biggest fan of is journey to the Heavyside layer, and I STILL cry during it).

I think the song I listen to most as an actual SONG, like in my playlist along with fuckin Mitski or Aurora would have to be The Rum Tum Tugger? It’s just easily digestible, a very vibe worthy song, whereas other fun songs like Macavity are very much a moment, yk? (Shoutout to mungo and rumple, because Ive looped their song for weeks at a time (the German version vibes so hard it’s so good)).

20. Did you see cats live? If so, where?:

I fucking DID and I am mad about it TO THIS DAY. I’m SO mad. I’m not gonna reveal the location because that would be very not good and Internet safe™️, but it was at a theater that housed tours of shows, which means I also got to see Jesus Christ Superstar, Hadestown, Hamilton, the like. Thank god my father is a huge theater nerd.

Anyhow, I saw Cats when I was 13, and I remember loving it, and that I picked up on Misto and Tugger immediately.

And that is ALL I remember. WHY? Because not only was I 13, I was coming down from being an Uber-depressed 12 year old, which means there is a year and a half of my life that is almost ENTIRELY gone. Literally could not have picked a worse time to go to see Cats. Every time I’m reminded that I saw Cats live and literally don’t remember it, I throw myself upon the floor in despair.

Aran studied your features when you said all of this, his eyes softening. As soon as you were done speaking, he romantically pressed his lips against your hand again and then brought your hand down between you two, holding it. 

Next, he gently turned your chin with his free hand so that you were facing him, and so that you could see the sincerity in his eyes. 

You whimpered from the intensity you saw there. 

“Y/N,” Ojiro began in his gentle-king voice. 

“I could really go on with a monologue right now about how you carry yourself the same way you just described for me—like a Princess who overtakes her father’s throne and denounces any preexisting closed minded laws, then decides to give the humble baker—that’s me, a shot at a life of euphoria with you...... but I’ll save that for another time....” he paused, and you swore that you would never forgive yourself if the tears you were feeling decided to fall and ruin this moment. 

“No! It’s you, Ojiro. I’m not even close. You’re so perfect and—“ A handsome smirk graced Aran’s handsome face, making your butterflies explode. Somehow looking at that smirk you just knew that he could tell you were holding back tears with everything in you, so, being the modern Prince he is, Aran came to your tear-saving rescue. He lightened the voice, effectively lightening the mood; but his eyes remained just as intense. He chuckled cutely before explaining the reason behind the intensity. 

“Okay well uhh, hey, if you insist on calling me a Prince.... Then... as my first order of duty 👑, I’d like to ask you, my fair maiden, if would consider being so kind as to call this Prince: your new boyfriend? I mean—damn—sorry, did they even use that term back then?!” 

Your heart bursted, practically springing out of your chest:

Not Prince Eric, not Prince Charming and not even Flynn fucking Rider had anything on how amazing this Prince was! 

Your emotions bubbled over, letting out giggles that sounded just like a real Disney Princess’.

You scoured Kenma’s condo since you have been staying here and won’t have time to go home.

Speaking of the devil: kenmas phone starting ringing with the Kuroo ringtone, meaning he was calling. 

Kenma tried to ignore it, so you went into his game room to retrieve his phone for him. 

While you looked for his phone near his gaming set up, your eyes fell on your boyfriend’s Professional Gamer headphones.

As I mentioned under Slimane's section, I first found out about him via an album he and this other artist, Vitaa, made together called VersuS. I literally love this whole album; like, I can't choose which songs are my favorite from that one... so one could imagine my delightful dilemma when they released the 2nd volume, VersuS - CHAPITRE II. Again, I can't choose which songs off of these 2 albums I like more than others, so I say just listen to both albums and get into it, yuh! (Shoutout to Doja Cat 😁✌🏾)

What's funny about Maître GIMS is that when I first heard some of his stuff I didn't really like it because I thought his voice was WAY too strong for what I was hearing him sing. Eventually I realized that I simply wasn't hearing the right songs by him... something that was easily fixed when I heard the song "Bella Ciao" that he made with Slimane, Vitaa, and these other 2 French artists Dadju and Naestro (this song was also in that French playlist on Tidal). And if you're wondering, yes that song was inspired by the "Bella Ciao" from the Spanish Netflix series La casa de papel. sarah zedd: Sarah’s channel itself is type a as fuck. she's so organized and poignant and thorough. Her channel covers old internet drama (and new internet drama) that revolves around old internet phenomenons and queer media.I appreciate this because Im very much out of the loop on everything so in a way sarah keeps me hip with the kids. I also appreciate that shes dedicated to getting a comprehensive look and different perspectives on all the topics she covers. She identifies as bisexual and queer so she also has some personal hot takes that give the videos extra *zest*. (shoutout to emily, sarah’s trans cowriter)

Troyce Tv: Asexual icon. He has all the hot takes. All of them.  He basically owns them now. While all of his content and opinions are highly subjective I really enjoy it. He’s never been one to mince words and its messy and I enjoy it. Even the interview he did with that one guy that straight up didn't understand what being asexual was, was fun to watch. xiran jay zhao: A chinese history buff who blew up after a comprehensive and education drag of Mulan (2020). I quite enjoy their videos. Theres a lot of educational tidbits and well thought out commentary on media either inspired by or based on east asian history. Xirans calm demeanor, wit, and unique style also makes them charming to watch. Some of the best parts of their videos is when their cat kokochin sits in front of the camera and Xiran refuses to acknowledge it. Its not even there. Doesn't even blink. Little shpiel, Xirans stated they them pronouns are preferred but she her are fine too, Xiran uses both to refer to themself so I cant straight up state their identity here oop.

PD (for of therapy): PD!! as you guys may not know, a bitch loves kpop. bitch is me, i am very much into kpop. Pd’s channel form of therapy is dedicated to music video breakdowns of new releases in the kpop world. PD is a director themselves so they always have the tea. whats real, whats cgi, whats clever, whats messy, wheres the lighting, how’d they pull of that transition? Pd has all the answers. ANOTHER shpiel. PD is a transgender lesbian woman. Not common knowledge to the *casual* watcher its in the youtube bio. Also note PD is fine with she/her pronouns. Pd made this really good two part short film 1 in10,000  about two girl besties that fall for eachother. Pd also podcasts sometimes on viral stories in the korean entertainment sphere, I really enjoy it because PD bridges korean and american views for a very whole outlook on the topic at hand.

Nick DiRamio: Clip Breakdown is another great directorial perspective on movies, music videos, shows and more. Nicks experience working in the industry and unrelenting one liners are the perfect balance of an educational drag. Nick has been very open and candid about being a gay man and this works so well with his commentaries. I personally appreciate how he breaks down things that me straight ass would not have caught onto otherwise. He’s very clever, hes entertaining and thought provoking at times too. Relationships with others Opinion of other people in general: kody is a big ole’ ball of love, and thus so, he tries to share that with everyone. strangers are treated with compassion, acquaintances are treated as old friends, and friends are treated like family. unless kody already knows someone to be a bad person, or is wary of them, he’s genuinely one of the nicest people one could ever meet. Opinion of the Scooby Gang: talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it. Does the character hide their true opinions and emotions from others?: it depends on the topic, but for the most part, yes. when it comes to most scooby gang related endeavors, kody will share his thoughts -- if it’s something related to movies or tv, he’ll be talking your ear off for hours. if it’s something that could result in it hurting someone else, he’ll be quiet, and if his vampirism was ever to come into question, he’d be absolutely be suppressing it.  Most important person in character’s life: oh god, not to pick scooby gang favorites, but probably aj. she’s the closest thing he has to a sister, and he doesn’t know what he would do without their banter, and her support. Romancing: kody wouldn’t know the first thing about trying to get someone to date him. all he knows is the stuff he’s seen on tv, watched in movies, or experienced around him ( such as his parents successful marriage, or his friends dating people ), but if it were to come down to him, he’d be extremely awkward. picture tom holland’s spiderman trying to talk to zendaya’s mj in far from home -- because that’s extremely accurate. kody isn’t trying to date anyone right now for a couple of reasons: one being that he’s too nervous, and not exactly looking for love, but if it were to happen... he wouldn’t run from it necessarily. but two being that his vampirism creates a bit of a problem for him, and he’s not sure if he should subject anyone to the curse he’s stuck with.

Extra Physicality: if necessary, could probably lift a car and throw it down the street. as of right now, doesn’t know how strong he really is / is more concerned about hurting his friends with this supposed strength than he is finding out how many hundreds of pounds he could lift. kody in a fight? probably losing within the first five seconds, unless bloods drawn and the instinct to pounce takes over.
