Here's a rarity from me, a Monster Hunter Rise newcomer!

Above is the prototype model of Somnacanth for my instructions pack for my supporters you can find HERE.

I also assembled the subspecies, Aurora Somnacanth! The parts that make up Aurora is actually cheaper than the regular model, which is rare, usually the subspecies end up costing more. I have more Rise monsters on the way soon. I neglected them because of a personal lack of interest. But now it seems all I really have left to build are Rise and Frontier monsters...

Somnacanth [Monster Hunter Rise]

It’s time for another batch of Rise icons. First we have one of the most unique Leviathans that breaks 4th wall with her song - Somnacanth. Next we have a really cool subspecies that’s fought like an entirely different monster but with enough resemblance of original fight, and with a gorgeous aurora crest and pointy snowflakes - Aurora Somnacanth. Then there’s a true queen of the series and a semi-flagship of first games (you can see her on MH logo because she was the first monster they designed for a game) - Rathian along with her wonderful (Sunbreak iteration of the fight is just amazing) rare species - Gold Rathian. And as a final icon for today we have the Subzero White Knight with one of the best snow themes in the series - Barioth
