Hello loves <3
Surprise - I didn’t stop at making Charlie Spring’s room! As of earlier today, here is my miniature version of Nick Nelson’s room!!!
Had the perfect box (no space on the shelf yet) and with a few minor adjustments (namely the vaulted ceiling) I had convinced myself that I needed this in my life XD
About 5 hours, some cardboard and LOTS of fabric scraps later, I now have Nick’s room as a little nook to match my earlier one of Charlie’s room!
Also, check out this one of Tori’s room!!
There was a LOT of hand sewing in this one, but I got the beanbag right on my 2nd try (the first attempt was more a hackey sack lmao) and managed to match as much as I could to the illustrations AND Nick’s room in the tv show.
psst! look at the computer on the beanbag!!
Anyway I just figured I’d continue posting these on here since it’s where I originally put Charlie’s room on, so I hope y’all like it :D
really want @aliceoseman [ @chronicintrovert ] to see this 😭
Unrelated but check out this thing I made while reading The Reappearance of Rachel Price

"Spring box" - maybe it's not the most creative name, but it perfectly describes what's in the picture :D <3
Some old stuff I found and I want to share. I still like it!
It was quiet easy diy project: box + paint + glitter + napkin to decorate the lid using decoupage technique.

I made a lovely living diorama out of things i could find around. Ramble under the cut.
My maing goal was, to have some living organism in my living space, which is tiny. Just like the moss, which needs minimal maintenance, all the while giving me the maximal joy. So here i am with a mini moss garden in my painting cup, because i used everything i already had.
For this DIY project I had to find myself the best living organism which are various type of moss from various places. For example, the best sources were the wall of the local church, a few moss from the bark of a tree in the local park, and another bunch from the sidewalk. As for the rocks i found them on the streets too. I put paper tissue as a bed in the cup, so the moss could grab on something. The tiny benchy boat was a gift from a local 3d printer owner.
Unfortunetelly, this project is addictive, so i already plan to plant another mini terrarium.

Season Jars!
Manifest to the season you desire. They all have their own scent from essential oils. Lights out for summer. Since it's coming to an end. (Forgot to buy lights for it)

finally made a moodboard for my backyard dreams.
this is everything I am hoping to achieve in my small backyard space. A hot tub with a shelter, pea gravel paths, diy furniture, a greenhouse, a thriving garden, and twinkle lights everywhere.
I'm willing to work for it, but this is what I want <3

My daughter's spring break was last week, and we spent some time doing yard work and garden prep when it wasn't pouring rain. She noticed a rogue wisteria vine growing up the siding, and cut it down. I wrapped it around and around itself to form a wreath. (I'm almost incapable of seeing a cut vine without wrapping it into a wreath. I do not know why)
We picked up a few fabric flowers and plastic eggs from the Dollar Store and she spent a happy half hour with the glue gun generating a spring wreath for the front door.

i have too much art i want to finish and no time to do it. none of it is genuinely dire, but it feels dire.
my ideas get stuck in my muscles and itch under my skin. i so badly crave more time to create.

PVC Heat Tape Pipe installation No help required
Last weekend I put a heat tape inside a PVC pipe to put inside my culvert to un-thaw culvert in the spring so water doesn't run over may drive way or main road. This weekend i put 90 degree end with male plug hanging out for power on a dolly to put in culvert by myself no need for helper.

It’s been a busy week in the garden, with new hens arriving (16 wks old) and their coop getting a complete revamp for spring. They’ve settled in well and seem to be really happy in their new home. We’re all looking forward to fresh eggs again. 😋
We’ve also been busy making some raised beds for our root veggies, a real blessing and makes life so much easier, especially with a sore back.
It’s also the last of our up cycled metal and I love that we’ve used every piece … nothing wasted. 😃
It’s been a job and a half to fill them, but we’re lucky enough to own horses, so there’s never a shortage of well rotted manure. Two nearly complete, two to go … 👍
