Hi, I remember following the development of a superhero IF where MC "dies" in battle, but wakes up 10 years later in the ruins of this battle. MC was the leader of an elite hero squad and was popular, however, they discover that everyone has grown older (around 20s -> 30s) and jaded. Everyone has been traumatized by MC's death and are not as close as they used to be. Superpowers and superheroes aren't common in this world (I think they were the only squad?). The synopsis implied that MC had awakened with an evil force inside them. I recall an RO named J, who used to be younger than MC and admired them a lot. There was also an RO planning on marrying MC, but their death altered those plans. I'm unsure if the blog has been deleted or I accidentally unfollowed, but I can't remember the name of it at all. I think the overall aesthetic was black/green? Thanks in advance if you find it and no worries if you don't.

book two’s biggest problem isn’t even the fact that it’s awful, because it isn’t! but the problem is that it’s so … boring, so woefully uninspired and diconnected from the themes & characters that made book one amazing. i love zoe and jay ( maybe not as much as other fans, but i do adore them and find their last scene together perfectly written ) but seeing vince get sidelined that hard is, frankly, awful to witness. while i know vince was technically our main protagonist for an entire book, it never felt like it, not when he was constantly surrounded by the other main characters - - his screen time was shared, and we learned as much about the people around him as we did with vince himself. the switches between jay and vince were so flawless and well done! meanwhile book two is so jarring ??? like, zoe doesn’t even come in until the last chapter … and instead valuable time is given to characters like paul and ash ??? sure, we learn things from these scenes but it feels foreign to suddenly introduce these characters as playable when it seemed as if vince, jay, and zoe would be our main three. also don’t get me started on how poorly vince ( & tyler and michelle, jesus ) is treated … vince in particular is baffling to me because he stops being a character completely! he ceases to exist when book one is over, despite being such a pivotal character in how the desert dream shakes out, purely because of his important relationships formed with the holts and dante and his own family. we spend so much time dedicated to him and his bond with said fractured family only to have none of that matter in the end!! its so infuriating, even more so when his trauma would be just as massive as zoe’s, since he already had trauma to begin with.

like idk i love vince and i do not talk about him often enough but he really made adf for me. he’s such a refreshing male character, and was so utterly realistic and interesting … truly haven’t seen a protagonist as good as him in a while and i do love jay, really, but seeing someone like vince get shafted for jay ( a character type i’ve seen countless times before, even if he is unique ) is tragic. and the vince problem extends to a larger issue in book two which is the complete lack of the walkers at all! in book one, the holts & walkers were intertwined, they did not exist without one another, and this almost fated encounter is furthered by the revelation that the walkers past with the holts goes back decades. like!! they had such a good concept going on!! the past, the present, and the future of these two families who just can’t shake each other no matter how many years is put between them … they always fall back into one another’s orbit … they cannot run from their mistakes ( aka each other! ) … and they had a good cast to personify this theme! sharon and jim are the past, tyler and vince are the present ( which is the boiling point and climax i’d say ), and zoe and jay are the future. it’s perfect and there’s a lot to work with here, theme wise, but book two feels like they lost this plot for two whole chapters and instead fixated on an escape story / romance nobody really cared for and it’s just!! ugh!!!

If you’re in the know, Wetciabatta (don’t ask, I just threw words together) is my account for uh. Materials I can’t post here. You can now also find it on Cohost and Pillowfort, mostly for uncensored images but also if it comes to it, they can be the main places, esp if Twitter continues to shrivel up and turn to dust or it bans that kind of thing (it’s in fact a miracle it allows that in the first place)

Since cohost allows multiple images, I will prioritize that for linking to posts that require it, like images with alts. Nsfw commissions will also go on one of these and twitter, but probably pf and twitter primarily due to more common usage in nsfw spaces. Main operation will consist of posting cropped versions with a link to the external posts since that seems to be the method people tend to do and seems to work out well. Keep in mind both sites have a relatively low upload size, which isn’t surprising as they’re small and don/t have the budget of big social media, but it does make things a little crunchy! There’s nothing I can do about that but hopefully one or both can eventually afford to allow higher limits as userbases grow.

Juggernaut... A god from Indian myth.  It was believed that those crushed beneath the wheels of his cart would be reborn in paradise.  It also means a fearsome, absolute power or entity that demands sacrifice.

HikVision

Amnesty International has documented high-resolution CCTV cameras made by Chinese company Hikvision installed in residential areas and mounted on Israeli military infrastructure for surveillance of Palestinians. Some of these models, according to Hikvision marketing, can connect to external facial recognition software.

TKH Security

Amnesty International has identified cameras from the Dutch company TKH Security used by Israel for surveillance of Palestinians. TKH supplies the Israeli police with surveillance technology used to enforce apartheid.

Ok hear me out: Full DILF box ghost. Don't scroll away and just give me a second of your time ok?

Boxy gets swoll. Real swoll. His gimmick might still be dumb but now he's so strong that no one dares to point that out anymore. That being said, he is still the best dad ever to Boxed Lunch. I'm talking about helping her tie her shoes, being a willing participant in her tea parties, tucking her in at night, the works. He's such a good father that when Boxed Lunch asks for a super rare Orphan toy that was only ever distributed in Gotham, he immediately agrees to get it for her.

Johnny 13 hears about Box Ghost's little outing and invites himself along as he wants to get Kitty some new jewelry to make up for their last fight. Thus begins a wild night for Boxy and Johnny as they both have a heart to heart (now that Johnny 13 can't make fun of him for fear of being punted through a wall) plus they even bond over how much they love the women in their lives.

All is going well. The boys have done some fun stuff around the city, gotten up to a little mischief, and even picked up Johnny's apology jewelry. The only thing left is Boxed Lunch's toy. As they're scouring an abandoned warehouse full of discontinued toys that's when Jason drops it. He'd been getting reports of strange occurrences all night from his men and he'd finally been able to track it down to this warehouse. Of all the things Jason anticipated, it was not two weird looking metas going through boxes. But nevertheless he has a job to do.

He aims his gun at the two metas and demands they step away from the boxes. They don't. Why would they? They're ghosts, this human can't hurt them. Sure enough when Jason eventually fires at their knees after a couple of warning shots, the rubber bullets go right through. Jason is shocked to say the least. And now his mind is whirring a mile a minute trying to figure out how those two just did that. Meta powers? Hidden tech? How is he going to deal with this? He doesn't want to go through the embarrassment of calling for backup.

Johnny 13 on the other hand, is pretty peeved this guy won't leave them alone. He's ruining their night out! So he decides to scare him. Maybe that will make him leave. So Johnny gets right up in Jason's fac- er mask and lets out a pretty impressive ghostly howl if he does say so himself. Except instead of running away, Jason instinctively punches him. In the nose. And it hurts. A lot.

So now Johnny is reeling in pain, Jason realizes he can take care of these guys the old fashioned way and Boxy has finally found the Orphan toy. "Oh no!" I hear you say. "The fight of the century between Boxy and Jason is about to go down!" Actually no. Not really.

Box Ghost has been teaching Boxed Lunch about conflict resolution recently and he is not about to let his actions contradict his words. So he explains the situation to Jason. Jason for his part is a little miffed but understanding. You're just trying to be a good father. I get it. Besides these toys are just gonna collect dust in here anyways. Oh but you do have to return the jewelry. *Sad (and pained) Johnny 13 noises*

Jason kinda feels bad for the whole, punching Johnny in the nose thing (even though it was totally his fault) so he offers to take them to find non-stolen jewelry for Kitty instead. Thus the boys night continues! Now with extra shenanigans.
