Does this whole car crash scene not look almost exactly like the car crash scene in Devils Trap (the s1 finale)?? Like, they can't come up with anything on their own... jfc. And why did they make their vampires so... over the top and cliche?? One thing about vamps in spn was they were so human passing. Yea they were rough and all, but this feels like caricatures of spn vamps. You can hear Rich's voice in there too and I know LS is supposed to be in this ep and I tried to pause on the band and see if it was them but the two background guys playing guitar are wearing wigs that may be worse than that Sam finale wig and I can't tell who they are. Then showing someone warming their hands over the fire (of what is presumably a burning body) much like Aaron (Adam Rose) commented on the brothers doing in Everybody Hate Hitler. And the dialogue... jfc they need to fire all the writers... I mean, "there's a monster out there who needs hunting, lets go hunt"? RIVETING.
Is there a way for a train wreck to get worse? I mean, wow! And there are how many more episodes? This show should not have made it past the prepaid six episodes. (Technically, it shouldn't have been made at all, but unfortunately we're beyond that now.)
The acting alone is terrible. All the lines are delivered with the most uninterested tone, and, like you've shared, there are no original ideas: "You sing a song tonight, someone burns, and the curse is lifted?" Um... that's pretty much the plot of BTVS Once More With Feeling (though the curse wasn't lifted until the person didn't burn.)
No matter how much they try and make it like Supernatural, or Buffy, or Scooby-Doo, it will never be any of those because they're trying too hard to imitate successful shows that their own show fails to have it's own identity. The sooner TW is canceled, the sooner the fandom can move on and pretend it never existed.

Vixvox3's Big Ol' Games of 2023 List
So I'm stealing this idea from Moxie and wanted to talk about the games that I played this year. This is going to be a long post so, you know, grab a chair and let's talk.
Dead By Daylight
So, I played a lot of DbD and it was part of my early Twitch career. The game is solid when it works and the star power of having so many horror icons in the same game is undeniable. Plus, I met some great friends through it (I'm looking at you Jumpscare Myers Katie and Rorydiesalot).
But I'd be lying if I said that it's not fallen flat for me of late. Mostly because I like horror and want my horror games to feel like the license I'm playing. DbD is the smash bros of horror in that it's a great game, but it isn't what I want to play when I want to play something that FEELS like a particular license.
Final Fantasy XIV
Hard to believe that I played this game for about three years now. I initially quit the game cause of the ARR slog and some negative play experiences a friend gave me. But I came back during the Blizzard controversy. And it's been fantastic.
The story is some of the most heartfelt gaming I've experienced with characters that I've fallen in love with over the years. While I haven't done nearly enough RP in the game world, I have also met some of my best friends through it.
I'm excited for Dawntrail!
I will say that I wish I didn't run into some creeps.
Signalis
So this game was introduced to me by Dot. And I'm so thankful she introduced me. This game ruled. and playing it on stream at twitch was a delight. I didn't get all the endings, but I enjoyed playing it, learning about the plot afterwards and then discussing it afterwards. I think I played this around February and it's still on my mind.
Easily one of my contenders for my GOTY.
Inscryption
Similar, Dot introduced me to this game as well. And my god was this fun. I Loved stumbling into some busted ass card combs, like making a stinky bug during the fight against the moon. I had a blast playing this game and learning about it and finding fast sympathy with the "lonely wizard".
But then learning how deep the ARG madness goes afterwards was a ton of fun as well. Awesome game! And I could see myself playing this annually.
Limbus Company
I'll admit, I was worried about this game cause it was billed as a "good gacha" game. But it is so much more. I found fast sympathy for the characters via the plot. The generosity is through the roof. And I honestly enjoyed playing this game so much. I can honeslty say I didn't expect Canto III or the "fried chicken" chapter.
I love this game and look forward to playing more.
Library of Ruina
Similarly, this game is really cool as well. It's a horror game hidden under a jazzy cool soundtrack with a lot of style. Very much a cyberpunk tale of how shitty corp life can be. But what shocked me most was how horrified I was during "Lovetown". If you know, you know. If you don't, please don't look it up.
Potionomics
This game absolutely ruled. I enjoyed it so much and will never forget how much Roxanne knocked me on my ass from the moment she showed up. During my playthrough I fell for Mint, but I can honeslty say that every character is positively lovely and I'm looking forward to giving this another playthrough.
Street Fighter 6
The first game on Steam that I 100% completed for achievements and the first fighting game I played for more than 25 hours (currently about 300 hours of play since it's jUne launch as of now). It's a fun game with great characters, including some of the only openly lgbtq+ characters with Marisa.
I'm a proud Manon main and I will be for the life of this game.
Dragon Ball FighterZ
So I did like this game even with the netcode issues. But I had quit the game last year because a crash killed my progress through story mode and I didn't want to replay a bunch of content.
So after trying out the rollback beta I can say that this game is still fun. It won't replace SF6 for me, but I like it.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous
Ok so, Owlcat improved MASSIVELY after Kingmaker. I like the characters. I like the setting. And I enjoy the gameplay mechanics and music. This game is definteily a d20 power fantasy but it's one done right since a lot of the evil paths feel as rewarding as the good paths. Plus, it's solidified Desna as being my favorite Pathfinder deity via the Azata storyline.
I love this game and would play it even more if the text font size wasn't so god damn small. My eyes are bad and until I get eye surgery I just can't play this game without pain so my latest play through has to remain incomplete.
Lethal Company
Space capitalism the game is actually kinda fun. And if you play it as intended with proximity Voice Chat it can be loads of fun with friends. and it's proof you don't need whizbang graphics to create an engaging experience.
Also the arachnophobia mode is the funniest shit ever.
Guilty Gear Strive
The game that got me back into fighting games because Bridget is a Transgirl. I love Strive and though I'm still learning Bedman? and Asphalt and haven't played it as much as SF6, I'm still thankful that it got me back into one of my current favorite genres.
Also, I love listening to the character themes and thinking about their meanings. Truly Strive is a $60 soundtrack with a rad game attached.
Monster Hunter Rise
I love Monster Hunter games since world and while I will agree that Rise's cast isn't as strong as World's, it has a sense of community that I adore. There's something special about summoning villagers and named characters to fight with me during horde missions that I can't deny I love. Plus, the game feels much easier to get started with and I love how vertical the design and mobility is.
It's a worthy addition to the series and I'm glad to call Kamura Village, home.
Vampire Survivors
This game is such a simple design and it's so much fun. I love it and can just get in, play for an hour, and feel like I've made good use of my time. Plus, now I can play levels with kazoo music.
A+
Fear & Hunger
Yo this game is fucked up. It's kinda fucked up. It's interesting and I'm not sure if I like it per se. But it is fucked up yo.
Rogue Trader
I fucking love this game. I haven't played it long, but Owlcat keeps iterating on their past successes and are doing a pretty good job. I like it and look forward to exploring the plot.
FlipWitch: Forbidden Sex Hex
The only porn game I'll talk about. But I love this game. It's a fun metroidvania, sex is treated with humor and positivity, and it's just a good time with some catchy music.
Plus, sexy ghosts are always going to get thumbs up from me. I also like how the sex-switch mechanic is used for puzzle solving similarly to Wayforward's Mighty Switch Force. I've only gone through the first boss thus far, but I like this game.
Pizza Tower
Another Dot recommendation. But this game rules. It's a lot of fun and has just this undeniably charming style. I adore this game.
Octopath Traveler II
I was very disappointed in the first game and almost gave this one a pass. But I gave it a try when it had a demo and realized that it was pretty good. And I blame Ochette and having a howl as a victory bark. But then playing it revealed a heartfelt game with some of the best voice acting, writing, and gameplay I've experienced in a square game that wasn't a Final Fantasy.
The devs learned their lessons from the first game in a huge way and I easily recommend this one.
Romancing Saga: Minstrel Song Remastered
So this game is a lot of fun. But it is a VERY old style RPG. And the SAGA system can be obtuse for a lot of players since most character stories just drop you into a world and says "Go play".
I was happy to play this since it is nostalgic and Passionate Rhythm is an awesome boss theme. BUT, boy howdy is the voice acting uneven with some folks having dogass voicework and some NPCs changing voices depending on when you talk with them.

Things that happen in Bojack Horseman without context
Jessica Biel kills and eats Zach Braff (both of the real celebrities voice themselves doing this)
The D on the Hollywood sign is destroyed, and instead of fixing it the area is just renamed Hollywoo for the rest of the series
One of the most emotionally raw episodes is called “Free Churro”
A character is allowed to open his own Disneyland because Walt Disney misspelled his own name on the copyright documents
The race for Governor of California briefly becomes an actual ski race
There is a recurring character who is very clearly two kids in a trench coat, and only one other character actually notices this
There’s an episode where, due to the framing device of two characters talking about the story while having to respect client confidentiality, everyone’s name and design is slightly changed, resulting in Bobo the Angsty Zebra
A biographical book wins a Golden Globe for Best Musical/Comedy
One of the in-universe shows Bojack stars in is hosted on a website that was created to tell you what time it is right now
Todd creates a sex robot
This is after Todd realizes he’s asexual
A character has eight dads in a polyamorous relationship and this is treated surprisingly normally
JD Salinger (author of Catcher in the Rye) is still alive and, when brought in to pitch a tv show, creates a celebrity game show
The spaghetti strainers

DP x DC: The Most Dangerous Card Game
Ok so Danny has essentially claimed earth as his. And he is fully aware that there are constant threats to the planet. Now he can’t stop a threat that originates on earth (that’s something he’ll leave to the Justice league) but he can do something about outside threats. Doing some research on ancient spells, rituals, and artifacts, he cast a world wide barrier on the planet to protect it from hostile threats so they cannot enter. This will prevent another Pariah Dark incident. However, barriers like this come at a price. You see, there are two ways to make a barrier. Either make one powered up by your own energy and power (which would be constantly draining) or set up a barrier with rules. The way magic works is that nothing can be absolutely indestructible. It must have a weakness. The most powerful barriers weren’t the ones reinforced with layer after layer of protective charms and buffed up with power. Those could eventually be destroyed either by being overpowered, wearing them down, or by cutting off the original power source. No, the most powerful barriers were the ones with a deliberate weakness. A barrier indestructible except for one spot. A cage that can only be opened from the outside. Or that can only be passed with a key or by solving a riddle. So Danny chooses this type of barrier and does the necessary ritual and pours in enough power to make it. And he adds his condition for anyone to enter.
Now the Justice league? Find out about the barrier when Trigon attempts to attack, they were preparing after he threatened what he would do once he got to earth. How he would destroy them. The Justice league tried to take the fight to him first but were utterly destroyed, so they retreated home to tend to their injuries, and fortify earth for one. Last. Stand. Only when Trigon makes his big entrance…he’s stopped.
The Justice league watch in awe as this thin see-through barrier with beautiful green swirls and speckled white lights like stars apears blocking Trigon and his army’s advance. The barrier looks so thin and fragile yet no matter how hard the warlord hits, none of his attacks can get through and neither can he damage said barrier. That’s when Constantine and Zatanna recognizes what this barrier is. Something only a powerful entity could create. For a moment, the league is filled with hope that Trigon can’t get through yet Constantine also explains that it’s not impenetrable. And clearly Trigon knows this too for he calls out a challenge.
And that’s when, in a flash of light, a tiny glowing teenager appears. He looked absolutly minuscule compared to Trigon and yet practically glowed with power (this isn’t a King Danny AU though).
And that is when the conditions for passing the barrier are revealed. And the Justice realize that the only thing stopping Trigon and his army from decimating earth. The only way he can get through….is by beating this glowing teenager in a card game.
Not just any card game though. The most convoluted game Sam, Danny, and Tucker invented themselves. It’s like the infinite realms version of magic the gathering, combined with Pokémon, and chess. And Danny is the master. So sit down Trigon and let’s play.
(The most intense card game of the Justice league’s life).
After Danny wins, this happens a few more times with outer word beings and possibly even demons attempting to invade earth, yet none have been able to beat the mysterious teenager in a card game. Constantine might even take a crack at it and try to figure out how to play. He’s really bad though. Every time this happens, the Justice league worry that this might be the time the teenager looses. Yet every time, he wins (even if only barely).
Meanwhile, Danny, Sam, and Tucker have gotten addicted to the game and play it almost daily. Some teachers might seem them playing the game are are like ‘awww how cute’ not realizing this game is literally saving the world. Jazz is just happy they aren’t spending as much time on their screens playing Doomed.
#DPxDC#Kizzer55555 ideas#Danny makes a card game to save the world.#Technically he worded the ritual so that they had to ‘beat’ him as those are the most powerful barriers and most reliable.#keys can just get lost or stolen (like the one to Pariah’s Coffin)#A riddle would be useless once someone figured out the answer. Like how no one takes the sphynx seriously anymore.#(Sorry Tuck. But it’s true).#And there is NO WAY Danny is just leaving a hole open for anyone to pass through. No thank you!#So…beating him. But it’s not like Danny wanted to fight so…he edited the ritual a TINY bit. Card games are good. Much less painful too.#Danny Tucker and Sam made the most complicated card game they could imagine.#It’s based on their strategies for fighting ghosts. Capturing them in thermoses. And MUCH based on a on field battle strategy.#It often requires spontaneous thinking on the spot. So Danny? In his ELEMNT. It doubles as practice for his actual ghost battles too.#They had SO much fun making this.#Sam added an entire series of plant cards that act as traps and healing ointments and duds that just take up the field.#Tucker added legitimate hyroglyphics combined with Latin as well as English and ghost speak.#Yes. You actually have to speak that language to play. With proper pronunciation. (Amity Parker’s think the three are talking gibberish.)#I headcanon Sam and Tucker are fluent in Ghost.#Constantine WILL figure this game out SO HELP HIM!#Some of the cards also have combinations related to constellations either in name or placement on the board.#By the way the board is based on a Hexagonal summoning circle with Rhunes along the edges#And the placement of the cards on the board and on what rhune MATTERS.#Also the cards move disintegrate and have certain abilities. Think of Harry Potter Wizard Chess.#But they are normal when Danny plays at school. This is just for ✨effect✨ Against invaders.#Danny faces multiple opponents. He also halts alien invasions.#While Danny COULD stop crime on earth he’s not sure how to fight a normal human and hold back so he sticks to ghosts.#The Justice league are going crazy trying to figure out who this entity is and after deep research are convinced this is some sort of#Ancient being who has protected earth for millenia. They have paintings on ruins and everything.#Danny is not aware they think this.#Raven starts praying to Danny as if he is a god and wrangles the other Teen Titans into doing so as well. Danny is still unaware of this.#Danny is not a King or an ancient. Just a very VERY strong ghost.

Just so y'all know, if you as a fanfic writer come up with something, and another fanfic writer coincidentally comes up with the same thing... That is not plagiarism. That is a hive mind, and it happens a lot. A lot. And you do not have the right to make someone "credit you" for an idea that they came up with, just because it's similar to yours. By the way.

You can read the fic in AO3 , Just a heads up tho: Audience is teens and up and Amy and most of the characters are +20 yrs old in this fic,so while It doesn't have anything NSFW or explicit in it,some scenes are steamy.Thought i'll mention it in case that sort of thing makes anyone awkward and/or prefers to avoid it.

Mullet Stanley Pines tries to steal your wallet
You're on a date tonight with Stanley Pines. With his charm and questionable mullet, you walk under the moon talking about life.
"And that's how my totally real friend gave me hundreds of bucks!" he chortled, snaking his arm around your waist.
You smiled as you looped your arm to his. "Is that why you're stealing my wallet?"
and then you headlock the guy and report him to the police... he'd probably fall in love if u impress him enough

(i am not immune to peer pressure so here's a continuation. part one here)
It’s so rare that Steve meets anyone nice anymore.
It’s just hard to find people. Dating apps suck, and ever since Robin and Nancy got together, they hardly ever want to go to bars together. And what’s he supposed to do, just drink alone and hope he stumbles across someone?
Well, that’s exactly what happened today, sans drinking. He was heading for the bus stop, a tiny bit lost but he had a map and was pretty sure he could figure it out. He realizes he’s a tiny bit directionally challenged, and he’s still relatively new in town, and Robin and Nancy just moved to a new place, so it all came together to mean that getting there would take some puzzling out. All the same, he was prepared to figure it out on his own right up until he saw the super hot guy sitting at the bus stop and figured a little help couldn’t hurt.
And that’s how Steve ended up with an unexpected date (sort of) to Robin and Nancy’s baby shower (not a real baby shower).
Robin answers the door and smiles, then does a double take when she sees Eddie. Whoops, Steve probably should have texted her that he was bringing someone. He’d gotten a little caught up in the moment.
“Hey, hope you don’t mind I brought a plus one,” Steve says, hugging her before walking inside. Eddie follows him.
“No, no, that’s fine,” Robin says, voice a little strange as they take their shoes off and she shuts the door. “We’re all in the living room.”
They follow her through the kitchen and into the living room where half a dozen calico kittens and several adults are on the floor.
“Oh my God, they’re adorable,” Eddie says, leaving Steve’s side to get down next to the kittens. Steve gets a huge smile watching him. Fuck, he’s super hot and he’s now holding a tiny kitten, cooing at it? Steve might just get on one knee right now. Or both knees. Honestly, either one works.
If he were paying more attention to literally anything other than Eddie, Steve would notice that nearly everyone else in the room is also staring at Eddie. The only exception to that is El, who’s sitting cross-legged on the floor with the mama cat in her lap, both watching the kittens with the same wide-eyed intensity.
There’s a tap on Steve’s shoulder, and he turns to look at Robin. “Can we talk for a sec?” she asks, voice still odd.
“Yeah,” he says and follows her back into the kitchen.
She crosses her arms and leans back against the counter. “So are you gonna tell me what Eddie Munson is doing in our living room?”
“Oh, have you already met him?” Steve asks.
Her eyes widen. “Are you being serious right now?”
“Uh. Yes?”
“Steve, that’s Eddie Munson,” she says, “From Corroded Coffin?”
“From what?” he asks, though as she says, it does sound a tiny bit familiar.
“Corroded Coffin?” she says, “It’s that band the kids love. Along with like half of America if they’re not completely scandalized by them.”
“So what, you’re trying to tell me Eddie’s famous?” Steve asks. Robin nods. “Hold on, this isn’t like Paul all over again, is it?” Paul was a guy Steve briefly dated a few years ago, and Robin had somehow convinced Steve that he was an Olympic athlete. In his defense, she had mocked up some seriously convincing news articles.
But Robin is shaking her head. “No, I’m serious this time,” she says. She reaches into her pocket and pulls out her phone. After a second she turns it around to show him the Google results for Eddie Munson. There are a lot of red carpets and pictures of him onstage. And damn, Eddie seriously is so hot.
“Alright, well, you definitely didn’t have time to photoshop these,” Steve mutters. Robin nods, patting him on the shoulder. How did he accidentally bring a famous guy over?
Just then, Eddie comes into the kitchen, a kitten in his hands.
“Stevie, look at her,” he says, holding the kitten up.
Stevie? Robin mouths. Steve kicks her as he reaches out to scratch under the kitten’s chin. It mews at him.
“I asked Nancy—she’s terrifying, by the way,” Eddie adds to Robin, “And she said I can keep her.” He lifts the kitten to his face and it purrs as it rubs its cheek against Eddie’s. Steve is actually going to combust.
“Alright, well, I’m heading back in,” Robin says, voice back to that strained quality as she escapes the kitchen. Eddie doesn’t seem to notice, too busy whispering praise to the kitten.
Steve scratches under its chin again and it purrs at him. “What’re you gonna name her?” he asks.
“Don’t know yet,” Eddie says, “Isn’t she per—oh, hold on.” His phone is ringing, so he moves the kitten to one hand as he reaches into his pocket and pulls it out. “Hey Gar….Yeah, ‘cause you abandoned me….No, I’m in Japantown getting a kitten….No, that’s not a euphemism….Listen, I’m kinda busy, I’ll call you later, alright?…Yeah, see you, man.”
While he was talking, the kitten clawed its way up Eddie’s shirt and into his hair. “What’re you doing in there, sweet girl?” he asks, tucking his phone back into his pocket and reaching for the kitten. It’s gotten very tangled in his curls, though, and apparently really likes being there.
“Lemme help you,” Steve says, stepping closer to Eddie and extricating the kitten. Eddie’s hair is very soft. Good to know. “Here you go,” he says, holding the kitten out for him.
“One sec,” Eddie says. He ties his hair up quickly (also hot, fuck) before taking the kitten back. He boops noses with it. “Such a mischievous little girl.”
“Well, can you blame her?” Steve asks. He brushes a loose curl behind Eddie’s ear. “Your hair seems like a nice place to be.”
Eddie smiles at him, a dimple appearing on his cheek. “I’ll be honest, Stevie,” he says, voice getting a little lower as he moves closer, boxing Steve against the counter. “At first I just came along because you’re gorgeous, but I think I’ve fallen in love.” He holds up the kitten in one hand.
“You think I’m gorgeous?” Steve asks, feeling his face heat.
“‘Course I do, big boy,” Eddie says, leaning closer and putting his free hand on the counter by Steve’s hip.
Maybe this is stupid and way too forward, but Eddie is so dreamy with his eyes and his dimple and his hair and the kitten in his hand, so Steve leans in and kisses him. It’s a little relieving when Eddie kisses him back, free hand lifting to his hair while Steve wraps his arms around his waist.
Steve doesn’t notice the front door opening or a new group of people that includes Dustin Henderson coming inside. He doesn’t notice them entering the kitchen and freezing as they take in the scene.
That is, not until Dustin shouts, “Holy shit, is that Eddie Munson?”
