actually, medical gaslighting is when you’re stuck in the hospital and a nurse comes in and says “okay we’re just gonna run this one test and talk to the doctors and then we can probably discharge you in about ten minutes, okay?” and they do the test and they leave and then about FOUR HOURS LATER the nurse comes in and repeats the exact same pantomime and this goes on for about 3 days and every single day they tell you you’ll almost definitely be allowed to leave that night but you stay there anyway and never once does anyone tell you what was wrong with all the other damn tests they just ran and why those weren’t good enough to let you leave.

I was sitting on the couch scrolling through my phone with my AirPods on so I could hear my thoughts and music. Matt and Chris were streaming for a third time this week and all I could hear was their screaming. I did not mind I knew there were having fun finally streaming games. I was a little bored and I knew that they still did not have dinner so I stood up and went to their kitchen to check what they have in the fridge. But of course there was nothing that much useful because all they had was variety of drinks. I mange to get stuff for fried rice and also I made instacart order for some groceries and for stuff to make Matt's favorite cookies.

When I was cooking the rice Chris came in to the kitchen for some water.

"Are you cooking?" He smiled and came closer to look what I was doing.

"I am I figured none of us actually had dinner so I am making some fried rice and cookies" I smiled looking at him.

"Smells amazing you're the bets bro" He said and went back to Matt's room.

I laughed and stirred the rice on the pan. I chopped the green onion and the chicken I got from the order and put it all in the other pan.

I send a quick photo on snap to Nick and captioned it "being a wife material when you gone come back homeeeee". Nick was already up so he send me back a surprised face saying "what did they do to you".

I laughed and put my phone down so I could out away the rest of the groceries away and come back to the rice.

When it was all ready I nicely transferred it to the plates and I texted Matt and Chris on the group chat asking if one of them could come and get the food.

Me and Matt did not really share a lot of our relationship online. It was there, people knew but that was it.

"Are you kidding me? We were actually talking about being hungry" Matt came to the kitchen and looked at the plates. I was sitting on the countertop holding my own bowl and eating already.

"Well.. you are welcome, take it and you guys eat it when it is warm. How is the stream going? I think all the neighbors heard you screaming at Chris" I laughed looking at him as he steps closer to me.

He came to stand in-between my legs and I smiled and him.

"Well.. he is an idiot so.." He laughed and he took my bowl and put it next to me and he stepped even closer.

I put my arms around his shoulders.

"Go do your stream Matt, when you done we can make your favorite cookies I also stock up your fridge because you guys do not own food in this house" I said.

"You did not have to do that baby..."He looked at me with eyes full of admiration.

"I wanted to... now take the food and go before they will yell at you" I pushed on his shoulders lightly.

He stole one kiss from my lips and smiled. That made my face bright up and I fixed his messy hair from the headset.

"Can't wait for the cookies. I love you, thank you" He said and took the plates and disappeared in his room.

I finished my dinner and cleaned up my mess after cookies and started to prepare the cookies.

"The rice was fire y/n thank you, I told Matt he can marry you already" Chris said coming back to the kitchen an he put the plates in the sink.

"Thanks god we have your blessing" I put my hand on my chest where my heart was.

He laughed and in the same time I felt arms hugging me and soft lips on my cheek.

"We are done for today... and yes this dumbass actually said that on the stream and chat was going crazy and like 10 thousand people came because they though they will see you" Matt said and my eyed widen at his words.

"That is crazy, well I look like shit so they would not see me for sure. I spent half of my day watching tiktoks on the couch" I laughed.

"You are always beautiful" Matt looked at me and gently patted my back.

"You guys are both cornballs, I am going to shower but if you make the cookies please tell me" Chris said and waved at us as he went to his room downstairs.

"You are cornball actually" I said turning around and wrapping my arm around his neck.

"Well... if it comes to you..."He started with a smirk but I rolled my eyed and laughed.

"Shut up" I said and brought him in for a kiss as I practically did not even talked to him today.

The kiss was slow and his warm lips on mine made me shiver. I parted my lips to let his tongue slip in. His hands traveled on up and down my sides and finally stopped on my hips. He gently squeezed them making me gasped a little. The distance between us seemed to disappeared completely when I tangled my hand into his hair. My heart was bitting so much faster when we stopped away from each other breathless.

"Hi"He said as he rested his forehead on mine.

"If you think that this was enough to make me to make cookies by myself than - wrong ,you are still helping Matthew" I said moving away still short on breath and he laughed at my statement as he sook his head at me.

"Let's bake the cookies then..."

a mean mug quickly grew on your face. this man just completely ignored your complaint and threw his head straight into the gutter. this that shit you be talking about, him not listening when you need him to, but always expecting you to do so when he wants you to. “no nigga i wanna go the fuck home” you said. your words didn’t really bother him that much, besides the cursing. ony was in a good mood today, he made a lot of money and planned to spend it all on you later despite your attitude. “aye aye…be nice” he mumbled, moving his head over the center console to give you a kiss.

once again this man didn’t give you the reaction you wanted, so you pushed your luck. before he got too close you decided that it’d be okay to take your hand and mush it across his cheek. ony seen it coming though so he moved back, but your long stiletto nails still grazed his cheek, making a small scratch appear on his upper cheek. fear quickly ran through your bones as you watched your boyfriend lightly tap the scratch on his face, a small drop of blood sitting on his finger as he picked his head up and looked straight at you. “b-baby i-” “get in the fucking back”

this was the one time in your life where you felt like you deserved what was happening to you. back arched deep into the cousin of his seats as your angry boyfriend fucked you with anger in the backseat. his big hand wrapped around your ankle to keep you from running as he let you cry out many apologies and promises. “daddy m’sorryyyyy” you whined, your arm stretching towards the door to try to pull yourself away from his brutal thrusts. “w-won’t do it again i swearrrr” ony scoffed, fucking you so hard that you couldn’t even keep your arm up. too fucked out to even remember that you were trying to run. “fuck up….puttin y’fuckin hands on me, you crazy or sum?”

It’s Halloween and you get invited to a party of a close friend. You spent the whole day before trying to chose a costume and end up going with Betty boop. Not your first choice but it’s was simple so oh well.

You arrive you with a friend, then meet up with your other friends. It was a house party so things weren’t too crazy. You sit down on the couch with your friends as you catch up with what’s been going on with your lives recently. You slowly see more and more people coming in, some you recognized and some you didn’t. You decided to get yourself some food, you excuse yourself.

You’re getting yourself some food as you reach for the spoon and someone next to you bumps into you reaching for the bowl too. “ Oh shit my bad, sorry” says a tall Frankenstein with curly hair. “ Dudeeee, I’m so sorry about my friend” says a tall vampire. “ It’s okay, did you want to get some?” you say with a smile. Frankenstein stares at you, “ Oh no no it’s okay you can go first, all you” he says with a smile gesturing to the bowl. “Thank you uhhh??” “ Hamzah” “ Thanks Hamzah, here you go” you hand him the spoon. He smiles and you walk away.

You head back to your friends and finish your food. “ Do you guys want to go play beer pong” “ Yesssss” you say. You guys all walk into the next room and set up to play. You and your friends are playing, as you go to pick up your ping pong ball, someone picks it up for you. You look up and it’s Hamzah, you smile kinda blushing.

You walk back to your friends, “ who was thattttt” “ask him if he wants to play” “ he’s cutee ” they all say giggling and teasing. “ NO STOP”, you knew what was coming,“ HEYYY FRANKENSTEIN DO YOU WANNA PLAY?” Hamzah looks over at them then you, “ Yea”. “ Great you can play with y/n”, you stare at them in disbelief.

You and Hamzah set up the game refilling the cups. “How many rounds?” he asks ending the silence. “Huh!?, oh as many as you want” you say. “ How many can you handle?”, he says looking up at you, you stare at him, “ Didn’t mean for it to sound like that sorry, y/n was it?” he says chuckling. “ You’re good and yea y/n” you says laughing nervously.

You guys begin the game, and later on you win. “ AHHHHHHH” you scream in excitement with your friends. Hamzah leans on the table, head down, as Martin pats him on the back, “ bro it’s okay”. You laugh staring at him defeated, “it’s okay Frankenstein, here “ you walk over to him with open arms. He accepts the hug and you pat his back.

You and Hamzah end up talking more and sit on the couch together. You sit down and Hamzah hands you a pillow, “ for your lap, I saw you fixing your dress”. You smile ,“ so observant, thank you”. “I like your costume by the way” “Thanks me too, you don’t see too many Frankensteins” “ Yea huh, sooo do you live by here”. “Yea not too far like 15 mins, I’m close friends with the host, how about you?” “ I’m about the same, like 18 mins away from here, I was invited so I don’t really know many people but I’m glad I came” he says staring at you.

You giggle, “Is this you trying to flirt with me?” He smiles tilting his head, “If its working, yea”. “ Never thought I’d have Frankenstein flirting with me but you’re cute so I’ll let it slide” “ Yea?!” “ Yea” you smile making eye contact with him. You and Hamzah keep talking about different things, your interest, what you do as a job, your dreams, just getting to know each other.

It’s getting late now and you’re ready to go home. You call your friend that you carpooled with and she doesn’t answer and appears to have left. “ Fuck” you say as the phone call goes to voicemail. “ What’s wrong” Hamzah says. “ My friend that gave me a ride here isn’t answering her phone and I don’t see her anywhere” “ I could give you a ride if you want” “ Really!?” “ Yea, I don’t mind”

You say goodbye to your close friend and thank her for inviting you. You and Hamzah walk outside to his car and get in. As your driving Hamzah gives you the aux and you blast your music. You guys arrive to your apartment. “Thank you Hamzah” you smile at him. “ No problem” You exit his car and start walking toward your apartment but then you walk back ,” Wait I just realized we didn’t exchange contacts” “ I was just about to tell you that too” you both laugh and exchange phone numbers. “ Well thank you again,I hope we can hang out soon” “ Me too, I’ll see you soon” You walk back to your apartment and look back seeing he’s waiting for you to walk in. You wave goodbye and walk inside.
