Maybe you’ve seen it already, but I did one just about Charles’ pins and buttons and patches.

I did ask Kelli Dunsmore (costume designer) for some help with them and she gladly answered, so I can say that at least the info there should match with him!!

I just add little color and value shifts! Though in order to be able to tell what color the object is, it is important to not overdo it and keep the original color dominant

As long as the actual color is in the middle of the transition from shadow to light, you can tell what color the object is!

It'd be harious if they were also created in a lab like their Canon counterparts but instead of making an army Draxum was trying to bring a species of revered and legendary dragons back to life, for nefarious purposes of course. It worked... but there were... issues. The biggest one being the little rat thay stole the eggs!!

I adore the idea of Draxum trying to bring a species back, because it opens up so much room for background lore. Like where they went, what happened to them, what does the yokai society think of dragons, are they even actually extinct? It’s just the kind of deep, complex world building that works well behind the boys’ usual dorky shenanigans wheeeze.

And Splinter definitely took these tiny babies without fucking know what they were, absolutely. I imagine Mikey was still an egg at the very least when Splinter got them all out… so really he just has to overlook Raph’s wings lmfao.

OHHHH NGL THIS MADE ME EMOTIONAL READING IT THIS IS MY FAVORITE TROPE EVER

obviously trees and grass and more nature related stuff will be an amazing experience. even when he was a kid, he spent most of his life in the junkyard in the desert, and Ed and Edna didn't want to let him go to a bunch of far away places since he was so young, so seeing trees and forests and places will be an incredibly exciting experience for him

he finds a lot of comfort near the ocean (which is a headcanon i have for normal ninjago stuff too, which isn't really a headcanon? given? skybound and crystalized? anyways) so being able to spend time there means a lot to him

oh but storms. BUT STORMS.

even as a kid jay was drawn to thunderstorms in a way he couldn't explain. jay's first storm post-prime empire is magical

the lightning reflects in his eyes as he steps out into the rain, the wind ripping at his hair and gi and a wide grin splits his face. he's laughing and smiling as he spins around the monastery courtyard in awe as electricity dances across his skin

it's the closest jay's ever felt to a proper home
