re my post. it's literally so sick the show has claudia following almost beat per beat what lestat's early years were. an overbearing parent and another more alike but ineffectual, becoming the head of their little family, leaving home. daciana being both nicki, a friend in a hopeless situation, and also daciana being magnus, the first vampire both lestat and claudia meet who is useless and tells them nothing and then kills themselves in a fire. making them have a new life in paris where they meet armand. where then again, lestat/claudia meet him with a parent by their side. claudia learning to love theater just like lestat with the italian troupe. except lestat lives because armand wants him, but claudia dies because she's in the way
