i feel babygirl standing next to you
babygirl, how do i look in my cat hair?
watch me go zoom-zoom
stay with me and love my video games
or my comic books
babygirl, imma keep on tryna smash
tell me, am i doin it right?
hold me close and like my video games
don't lie to me
but babygirl, how do i look in my cat hair?
baby, you look so good in this cat hair
babygirl, how do i look in my new whip?
would you tell me the truth?
stay with me and love me through the night
or my comic books
i just wanna know how you feel
did i tie it right?
i may be covered in video games
but i still smell good
baby, did you wear that dress just for me?
or my cock books?

American musician Thundercat x Robe Japonica yukata collab
Note how light the obi are. This is in fact much closer to historical 16th century Nagoya obi which were long kumihimo braids - very different that what we usually see nowadays:
You can see here the historical evolution of women's obi:
right: old Nagoya obi, a kumihimo braid belt
middle: sanadahimo obi, stiff and getting larger
left: "modern" obi, made from softer fabric, but still quite narrow by today's standards

Thundercats Headcanons pt 2: Vocalizations
pt1: Grooming
pt2: Vocalizations (you're here)
Alright so part 2 because the juices are still flowing. Picturing these is my head was very funny I hope I can make other people go back to the show so I have someone to simp with 😂
I'm talking about vocalizations aside from speaking. Thunderans' vocal cords allow them this feat.
Those include but are not limited to roaring, chirping, groaning, hissing, clicking, screaming and purring.
They normally communicate via words, but the other vocalizations speak to the more primal part of their brain.
Mothers tend to chirp to get their cubs' attention quickly, and cubs may start moaning and meowing if they have lost their mother.
Aggressive displays in arguments or fights usually come with groaning and roaring.
Purring is a favorite. Thunderans can either purr purposefully to soothe someone else, as it sends a message of 'I feel safe, this is a safe place for you too', or just for the sake of showing their own comfort.
Just as a reminder, purring occurs when the vocal cords are the most relaxed, thus vibrating when the subject breathes.
In general this kind of vocalizations are used as quick responses and mood messengers, as they are still engraved in the most primitive areas of Thunderans' brains, despite how advanced this race might be.
