thoughts: okay this was a very chaotic episode - very scattered, cutting to different characters a lot, but like im understanding more of it. zoe was VERY interested in what could have happened to madison, and girlie was determined to help her - nan and queenie were scared to mess with the ouija board but like it helped them find madisons dead body so woo??? I kinda want them to let zoe's powers play into the series a bit more, since they've focused on nan's ability to hear people's thoughts and queenie's voodoo doll energy. what else ummmm Oh it was great to see misty and kyle, but we kinda see how kyle's reacting to the trauma of his mom by lashing out at misty when he's bathed. i rlly want zoe to take more care of him tho, since misty's kinda given up. RIP the fleetwood mac radio. a shame that misty didnt stay at the coven house though! cordelia's rlly going through it with the blindness, her husband cheating on her AND a spirit trying to hurt her??? poor girl! I just want antis to give me a list of non-problematic things that they think I should be allowed to ship. At this point, I really don't think there is a single one. They aren't acting in good faith, they just want an excuse to be bullies.

Well see that's the fun part, there aren't! If casting a Spell Of That's Racist doesn't work then they will simply cast a Spell Of That's Incest, or Spell Of That's Pedophilia, or Spell Of That's Romanticizing Abuse, and they're all cantrips so we're basically fucked. The legends as types of ASMR they might listen to

[I came up with this idea at 2AM and couldn’t sleep. Shhh]

Bangalore

Believe it or not, most of the ASMR she listens to is to relive her trauma. Years of experience in battle can scar a person and being in the IMC??? She’s seen a whole lot, most of it not good. She’ll listen/watch videos that are helpful for people who have experienced trauma. That may include videos that help her try to forget or maybe a few videos trying to help her move on.

Bloodhound

Camping ASMR. Listening to the crackle of the fires or rain always reminds them of home. They can almost feel the late nights in the wilderness on their own again. During very sleepless nights, they’ll open Arthur’s cage and have the bird curl up in the corner of the room and try to mimic sounds that nature makes (look it up, crows can and will mimic the sounds of other creatures)

Caustic

Generally, he won’t listen to ASMR. If he ever has trouble sleeping, he’ll usually take melatonin or drink some tea. But on the rare occasions he does, he’ll try to find carving ASMR. Maybe it’s wood carving or soap carving. The sounds just feel calming and relax him, the sounds can ease his mind. On very super rare occasions, he’ll listen to Mad Scientist ASMR to either make him laugh or just see how some people view him since fan or other legends will joke about that.

Crypto

Anxiety Relief ASMR up the ass my dude. Hacking or spending extended times on his computer will cause him to put on headphones to listen to background ASMR. During the night, it’s sometimes insanely difficult to sleep so he tries to calm himself down. He deep down knows none of the legends would try to hurt him (except for Revanant, that rat bastard that climbs on the ceiling like a fucking creep) so he feels much calmer and safer than he has in a long time

Gibraltar

Not gonna lie, I struggled so much to try and find something he’d listen to. I eventually came up with the conclusion that he listens to nice positive vibes ASMR. Any video that has negative vibes or a weird RP? Begone thot! This man cares about one thing and one thing alone: Trying to stay positive. The original reason he joined the games was to protect those around him and literally all of his lines are along the lines of staying positive and happier. It’s better to keep your head held up high than to put yourself down.

Lifeline

Tapping. As somebody to loves to jam out with her drumsticks, she enjoys tapping on things. This includes when she tries to sleep. She enjoys listening to the sounds late at night as it remind her of her favorite hobby. Anybody who has watched her sleep as she listens to ASMR might notice how she lightly tries to sleepily tap along what she’s hearing.

Loba

Ngl, at the time I’m making this post, Loba hasn’t been out for too long. My personal view of her character may not really be good enough for me to get an accurate viewpoint for this post. Just throwing that out there before I state anything😅

Loba enjoys mic brushing/mic pulling. The sound just feels soothing to her. It drowns out all the background noise that scares her or just makes her feel unsettled at night. Revenant has caused many many many sleepless nights for her so she prefers something to drown out whatever insecurities or fear she might be feeling internally.

Mirage

Positive. Affirmations. Ya’ll. Mirage is so fucking worried all the damn time about everything. He often finds it difficult to sleep because he just worries about a lot. Do the other legends find him annoying??? Do they talk shit behind his back??? Do they hate talking with him??? Do fans only like him for his looks??? He especially struggles after having phone calls with his mom or the anniversary of his brothers disappearing. Those nights are the worst and the hardest for him. He stumbled onto ASMR by total accident and has not stopped using it each and every night since.

Octane

I originally was going to kinda brush this off and say he doesn’t really listen to ASMR and then my brain was like, “You’re a fucking idiot.”

It’s kinda rare to find them (at least in my experience) but Octane listens to ADHD asmr. It is just so fucking difficult to sleep when you can’t turn your fucking brain off. It also doesn’t help when you play video games all night. Octane doesn’t usually listen to ASMR, he’ll try to roll around in his bed for a couple hours before looking up old videos Lifeline showed him when they were kids. He never ever tells her this.

Pathfinder

Doesn’t really listen to ASMR because robot who literally can’t sleep. But, if he finds any of the other legends struggling to sleep, he’ll look up all their favorite ASMR videos and send them to their phones to remind them, “Hey! You use these to sleep friend! You should use them now!” 😁

Revenant

Doesn’t use ASMR to sleep, but will browse old memories or horror movies to hear people screaming. Everybody sleeps super far away from him for a reason

Wattson

Very very gentle and quiet videos. Loud noises bother her so very much that she enjoys very gentle, very soft videos. She enjoys the ones with inaudible whispering so she doesn’t have to focus too hard on what people are saying or doing. No crazy role plays, no doctors appointment role plays, just very very soft and sweet videos.

Wraith

Wraith was one of the hardest to decide because she listens to every kind of ASMR if you want to get technical with dimensional travel. Whispers are definitely a no go, the voices in her head late at night are no fun at fucking all. Doctor ASMR triggers her PTSD at the IMC facility so fuck that. I eventually came to the conclusion that it’s either hair brushing or listening to rain. The hair brushing gives her a sense of peace and eases her mind by quite a bit. At some points, she’ll feel an odd sense of familiarity with those videos. The rain calms almost everybody enough for sleep and Wraith is no exception.

Was really feeling omega Magnus and getting a little desperate I lowered my standards... greatly. But in one of these big yikes fics I found a single very good line accurate to Alecs character. It was something like "id sell my most prized possessions like my bow just to see magnus smile" and then magnus laughed at a joke or smth and he was like "forget my bow I'd sell Jace without hesitation to hear his beautiful laugh 😍" and I was like u got a lot of things wrong but this. This u got right.

LMAOOOOOOOO thats so valid and true. i mean honestly id sell jace for one single potato chip but making Magnus smile is a very good bonus

also if you hadn't read them already, i recommend the Omega Magnus fics that kinkymagnus wrote, they are the one and only i trust, along with kinky_bird's I'm yours (you're mine) which isn't finished but the first chapter stands on its own and tbh i like it a lot better so usually i just reread it. I can't give you any other recs because I have kind of a trauma with A/B/O because of the amount of truly gross shit you see around, so actually those are the only fics of the genre I've ever read (and I only read kinky_bird's because kinkym recced it). i will warn u that kinky_bird's one and the stuck in a rut one both feature brief mentions of br*eding kink so stay safe if u don't like that (i use a word replacer to Begone Thot them because like i said they are good and the mentions are brief, but anyway)

Both Luffy and Tama have wicked puppy eyes but Luffy tends to ruin it by doing something gross.

Sabo “dies” comes back suddenly and is called a ghost for a week straight. (Sabo had amnesia due to trauma but slowly regained it. ((not suddenly like in op but gradually and there are a few holes)) Ace had left Goa and moved to NewWorld ((or w/e)) and it took Sabo a while to find him again but didn’t meet up for a while as he was conflicted because Ace never visited him. Ace never visited him because he was told Sabo was dead.)

Thatch is the self proclaimed (worlds best) uncle and spoils them with little goodies he makes. (Which are more or less healthy, Ace complains but Tama and Luffy don’t even register it.)

Izo tries their hardest to convince Ace to let them dress the kids (and Ace) but Ace insists that they don’t need too. The thrift store clothes are fine. So they’re a little big, that just means there is room to grow.

Tama will hide food and gets upset if Ace tries to clean it up so he gave her a chest and lets her keep dry/long lasting/preserves only. (He does a lot of reading to trying and help her with it.)

Ace is kind of a hoarder, he tries really hard not to be but one moment he has a clean room then next there is a pile of half fixed thing, parts and knick knacks in the corner.

Marco is constantly frustrated over Ace constantly denying when his health is shit.

Ace ends up babysitting all of Luffy’s friends at some point and he’s not sure how it happened.

He gets paranoid about let other babysit Luffy and Tama tho but feels bad when he ends up asking his friends because Luffy is 11yr old manifestation of a sugar rush most of the time .

Lifts Tama/Luffy and tosses them “yeet” on their bed when it’s bedtime. (He does this at some point to Sabo, much to his surprise but says ‘begone thot’ cause he calls ‘em like he sees ‘em)

Sabo wears Ace’s shirt to bed. (Boobs). Sabo in his own clothes / leaving for work. (No boobs ((binder or layers depending)). “Ace, why does Sabo take his tatas off?”  Ace spits soda all over his oblivious 11yr old charge and derails the question by asking where he even heard the term tatas.

Twilight Princess, first play through, part Fifteen.

-Wait a second, are you trying to tell me that Midna was the Twilight Princess the whole time? I thought it was Link! I mean, that is the logic behind the normal game-name issue, isn’t it? Was the actually supposed to be a surprise? I admit that 26 year old me isn’t exactly the ideal or expected audience, so I have no idea if it was done well or not. -Off to the Twilight Realm Dungeon! Or the Trungeon, if you will. -“Is my sword more shiny than usual?”  -Is that the master hand? He certainly keeps trying to grab my ball, the perverted scamp. -So fun fact, my Wife apparently has some childhood trauma related to this enemy. Nothing to do with giant grabby hands, just anxiety because of the music and the stealing and the ever-present threat of having your work undone by a giant grabby douche. -Also the second grabby hand you fight has an interesting glitch I discovered. In the room with the spine of hookshot targets on the roof, it is super easy to set the wall up so that Grabby hand is just stuck on the other side of it, giving you plenty of time to get everything ready.  -The lighting effects in this dungeon are pretty neat. I know that it is a weird little comment, but it is mine.  -Zant…sure was an experience. His lovely little back-leans where he just looked up to the sky and said “oh noes I am le evilz” were amusing, and I got the impression from his actual fights that he 100% had no idea what the hell he was doing. Throwing temper tantrums on top of platforms, making little finger-guns at me, flailing around with swords he clearly didn’t know how to use, just… if they wanted to get across the message of an entitled whiney little shit-wizard than they did it. -I would be more okay with this, except the rest of the game has him in a very serious light, bitch-slapping us with no difficulty. Maybe the rest of his appearances were part of an act, putting on a brave face while he tried to be cool in front of strangers who didn’t know how much of an awkward chuckle-fuck he was, but that still doesn’t explain the lack of Link-being-bitch-slapped in his final boss fight. -Speak of being bitch-slapped, Midna popped his dumb ass like a balloon. It was kind of wonderful. She was all like, “BEGONE THOT!” and then… POP! No more Zant. -Except apparently yes more Zant? I remembered him saying something along the lines of “my master has been reborn in the world of light, but I cannot die until he does”, but I thought that was just him being full of bluster and hubris? You know, instead of hot air, which is what Midna popped out of him. -Except apparently yes, Gannandorf his-damn-self has not just been reborn in the Light-world, he is back in his old body (scar the size of my head and all), and is raring to go. -I addressed my confusion to my wife, admitting that I thought his previous quote was him being metaphorical, only to be told that “Zant is too badshit for metaphors.” Oh well, off to the castle to save the princess from the evil dark lord.  -And Kaiju Midna is here to save the day! She is truly wonderful, and I think link is suddenly regretting all of his short-jokes. Although I also feel that there was a lost-chance to have Link ride her around during a final boss fight like she rode us around during the whole game.  -Fought the Bokoblin Captain who jousted me using my good friend again. This fucker just won’t die. And in fact, he didn’t. He acknowledged my strength, gave me the key to his chastity belt the castle, and then fucked off. Huh. Very much wanted to murder him… -Lot of Dark-dark knights, but thankfully the Cave of Ordeals gave me some practice on those assholes. -*Me, facing Gannon’s Door*, “Welp, time to face the ominous music.”  -Gannon’s entire entrance scene is amazing. Sitting on the throne like a boss, almost convincing Midna to mercy kill Zelda, all good things. -Also neither of us remember the exact details, but at some point during this exchange I said, “huh, wouldn’t it be fun if we got to fight Zelda in one of these games,” to which my Wife only replied. “If.” -Which Gannon, buddy, darling, literally every other member of your race was a woman, and presumably you were raised by all women, how do you not know how to fight in a dress? Seriously, you should show more respect to the body you are possessing to kill me with. -Oh no Midna don’t teleport us away, whatever could possibly happen now that you are trying to monster-mash Gannon? *five seconds later, seeing Gannon posing dramatically in front of the setting sun, the crown of a lesser king crushed beneath his heels* Oh no Minda, who could have possibly predicted that this would happen if you tried to monster-mash Gannon? -Also apparently Zant survived? Even though we haven’t seen him since Midna popped him like a balloon, but here he is! -And now he isn’t. Good. We really needed that. Seriously, why bother with this? I am sure that they could have come up with some way to make it so that Midna popping Zant like a balloon was somehow that final piece of the puzzle to bring Gannon back, instead of Gannon being brought back into the Light world offscreen, Zant surviving being popped like a balloon but not showing up until the 2 seconds it takes him to snap his own neck, and the whole thing feeling cheap. -Hell, I spent about 2 minutes thinking about it. Gannon’s Warlock pact with Zant was that whatever Zant wanted, Gannon would want, and would make happen. Couldn’t this whole thing be Gannon setting Zant up to fail so that Zant would want “to live again/have another chance”, which Gannon would then piggyback on and abuse? I just feel like we needed *ONE* more scene, something to establish Zant being around, and we’d be fine, but oh well.  -And Midna survived? What a twist? -So… before I knew what *actually* was happening, when I saw Midna cry her single tear, I said in my Link voice, “Oh no, Midna, what’s wrong?” and then answer in my Midna voice, “Nothing, Link, just realizing I might actually have to put up with you more in the future,” in a kind of Tsundere kind of joking way?  -Except nope, no happy ending for my otp. Goth girlfriend has left us forever. -And yes, I have a Link and Midna Voice. Fight me.  

-And now for the part you all are waiting for, my final thoughts on the game, and comparison between it and Wind Waker. -Honestly, I ended up saying most of what I have to say now back 2 weeks ago in my post, “Twilight Princess, first play through, extra ramblings.” Wind Waker has the characters and art, Twilight Princess has the gameplay.-Something that I feel needs to be added to that is that Twilight Princess’s dungeons felt a whole lot more challenging and fun. Even though I didn’t always agree with every part of said dungeons, I found the puzzles a blast, whereas I cannot really think of too many memorable puzzles from Wind Waker. -Except for the Triforce block puzzle. Man, that thing stumped me for hours. No wonder it kept Ganondorf, master of evil magic and criminal mastermind out for centuries. -After giving the whole thing some more thought, I would say that Wind Waker makes a better story, but it isn’t just a story. It is an interactive game. And that means gameplay is kinda of important. Thus, Twilight Princess moves forward just enough to get my preference over Wind Waker. 

-Next up, I’ll be (eventually) doing skyward sword, because if I just go straight to BotW, I will never be able to go backward.
