She was quite delighted at how Santa took that tale. Elaborated a bit. I imagine it went something like this:

"...you what?" Her murderous look intensified. Santa could easily picture the darkness gathering around her the way it did in cartoons when the evil character was. Well. Being evil. "You heard me!" She sounded way too delighted, Santa noted. "I killed my predecessor! You know, the guy before me? Yeah. Stabbed him right dead. Pulled the vest out of the melted pile of slush that was once Jack Frost the first and put it right on." "...Jesus Christ."

Anyway, after that, she goes home and Jack pops in for 4 o'clock coffee and the final image ensues, lol. This interaction follows that:

"And he believed you?" Jack asked, pulling out the chair next to her and plunking down, stretching out his legs and crossing them at the ankles. "Damn near shat himself about it, too," Jacqueline confirmed, looking sly over the top of her mug. Jack laughed. "Oh that's, that's marvellous." "Mm! It was! THEN I elaborated. Told him I took the vest like a war trophy, you know? Didn't even wash it or anything. Shame I said SLUSH instead of BLOOD because I bet he would've like. DIED on the spot picturing me putting on a blood soaked vest, ehehe. I swear Jack, I could see his soul leave his body. Definitely top 5 best days at work. Maybe top 3, even."

Jack is deffs enjoying retirement in this au! Going full vacation mode, spending most days in various hot spots on various beaches with various drinks, usually popping by the family home for 4 o'clock coffee and cocoa--and a break from the sun since he burns and Winter worries

TID: Gabriel and Gideon. For sure. It's just gonna be about Charlotte and how cool she is. One of them (Gabriel) actually refers to them as Mom.

TLH: The Merry Thieves. It's just chaos. No one knows what the podcast is actually about.

TMI: Jace and Simon. They just dish and gossip the whole time. Also randomly break into songs. Jace sometimes gets emo and trauma dumps in the middle of the podcast.

TDA: Emma and Cristina. They just play silly games like 'Kiss Marry Kill - Head of the Institutes Edition'

The Cursed Weapons, Charcter Intros

The Curse Weapons is a story created by me, following the story of Zachary and the young Fairchild twins in 1922 Los Angeles.

Zachary Arash Carstairs: After his mom died when he was 7 in 1911 from old age and declining health after giving birth to him in her 40s he went to live with his brother Alastair and Alastiar's boyfriend Thomas. Later at the age of 13 he became Parabatai with Thomas' younger sister Catherine.

Catherine Barbra Lightwood: The youngest of Sophie and Gideon Lightwood. With her middle name taken from a sister she never knew. She was partially raised by her older sister Eugina who taught her that she didn't need a man to be strong and fierce. Childhood friends with Zachary -who she later became parabatai with at 12- they bonded easily being outcast from the rest of the Clave because of their brothers for reasons they both found stupid.

Agatha Marigold Fairchild: Daughter of the retired council Charlotte Fairchild. Agatha and the rest of her family moved to Idris when she was very young. She and her Twin sister Emily became childhood friends with JOseph and Alexander Lightwood being the only kids their age whose parents didn't strongly discourage playing with. When she was older she often visited London to see her older brother Matthew. While she was there she made good friends with Catherine and Zachary. ONe day she hopes to become a strong leader like her mother and help her brothers to love whoever they want.

Emily Jessamine Fairchild: Daughter of the retired council Charlotte. Emily and the rest of her family moved to Idris when she was one. She and her Twin sister Agatha became childhood friends with Alexander and Joseph Lightwood being the only kids their age whose parents didn't strongly discourage playing with. When she was older she often visited London to see her older brother Matthew who she greatly admires and wants to copy his travels through the world. While there she became a close friend of Catherine and good friends with Zachary. When she was 15 she ended up developing a crush on him. She became interested in engineering when she was 13 and helps her father and aunt Grace in the laboratory when she can.

Philip Edward Blackthorn: Part of a long lost descendants of Ezekiel Blackthorn who moved to los angeles over a century ago. Philip grew up with knowledge that he was a descendant of shadowhunters; he was offered little else in knowledge of his lineage. He lost his older brother early on in the Great War.

Maria Evelyn Ashdown: The only daughter of the Ashdowns, Teh head of the Los Angeles Institute. Maria didn't start seriously training to be a shadowhunter until she was 14 -when the shadowhunter ranks had fallen short after the great war- when her mother relented and allowed her to begin training. She is a fierce fighter despite her mom's wishes that she simply stay at home and become a respctible wife. And she definetly, absolutley does not have a crush on the institutes resident maid.

Norman Michael Ashdown: The eldest child of the Ashdowns. His mom -Nancy Ashdown- expects him to run the institute when his father retires despite his wish to simply reside and read all the books in the institute's library and create an actual appropriate shadowhunter family tree.

June Lucile Elliott: Being partly kicked out and partly running away, June left her parents 2 years ago when she came out to them. She managed to get a job as the institute's maid. Even though she's supposed to be helping everyoen in the institute she's more turned in Nancy Ashdowns personal helper. She's very stubborn and used to judgement from others but does apritiate the Ashdown's children kindness to her and often repays them by leaving extra treats by their bedsides.

Clary had been struggling with this pregnancy this time around, having two young kids might have something to do with it. And being sick all the time doesn't help that's how she first knew they were having another girl cause of all the sickness, they also went to the silent brothers and found out. Jace was filled with so much happiness and clary was overjoyed. Her and jace can't wait for the little one to be here, she loved seeing jace as a father and the vulnerability he has with their kids. He's gentle and so cute with them. When he reads to them and plays the piano for them before they go to bed. And when he gets silly and goofy with them and they laugh so hard and that big smile on his face, it makes her think of when he thought he would never have a family and was hopeless. But now he is filled with hope and happiness and love for his family and every time she has told him she's pregnant he cries with happiness and can't believe he deserves this, she tells him he does and that he does deserve all this.

She falls in love with this man more and more every day. She was heading back to her and jace's room to turn in for the night, she just finished tucking Charlie and James in to bed after she read to them and sang lullabies to them while jace play the piano in the New York institute. They do this every night.

As she came into the room jace was getting in the bed, She went to get in bed as well. Clary and jace were settling in she was laying on his chest listening to his heart beat, that sound she loved and told her he was here and safe. Then she felt their little girl kick. She shot up and said she's kicking. Jace got up as well, she took his hand and put it on her stomach where her womb is, he always had that look of amazement on his face when he felt a baby kick in the womb. She loved the look it showed how gentle he really was, she's so precious jace said. It brought clary out of her daze, they always kicked harder when jace would put his hand on her stomach. She said it's because they know that he's their dad and they feel safe, he disagrees but she knows. I can't wait for her to be here clary said and then she looked over at jace who was emotional and said neither can I he was starting to cry and she loved how vulnerable he was with her, it showed how much he has changed over the years. Clary asked what do you think we should name her I mean we only have 2 months left before she's here, I'm so big I almost wonder if she's gonna be early. I was thinking Tessa for the first name jace said I mean she's had a big part in both our lives and I like the name. It's beautiful clary said I love that idea, how about Jocelyn for the middle name? "Tessa Jocelyn Herondale" sounds like a good name to me said jace, yeah me too. Tessa and Jem are gonna be overjoyed to her this! Said clary, jace nodded a sweet nod. They were both exhausted and were dousing off and she knew there was only a matter of time before they both passed out, so they snuggled again still feeling their baby kick and move. They both fell to sleep with smiles on their faces and love in their hearts.
