Winging it. Always. All of them.

The eldest 3 (in my HC, Motors, Dead End, and Breakdown) are the only ones who really plan things, and even then it's very loose. More so a "we're gonna get this thing" and then plan how to get it when they get there, unless there's a chance of them actually dying.

As a way to help Meansor regulate his emotions, Devastator introduced him to calming building things, like sandcastles and Legos. Menasor ends up subconsciously doing it with rubble and rocks just to calm down.

HI ANGEL trust me i would all the time if i knew how to properly translate whatever the fuck is going thru my mind to a coherent, readable text format. but anyways:

jaden: her favorite color is deep purple, an aubergine kind of shade. but i think she's particular to the colors i usually make her wear such as various shades of blue ranging from a light, powdery blue to deep royal blues, then maroons, along with slightly lighter shades of purple. her fave foods would be whatever fancy rich people eat in their lunch breaks. gravlax. pasta with sea urchin roe sauce. crayfish souffle. idk. as for clans, not to give a stereotypical ventrue answer but she doesn't like brujahs, thinks of them as unruly and a nuisance despite often acting like a stereotype of one herself, being easily angered and violent. she's also rebellious but the reason for that is because she wants to be the power telling people what to do. she doesn't care about bringing down the establishment and all that crap. she wants to be the boot, how is she gonna do that if there's no more establishment?

iggy: browns, oranges, purples, and/or anything you could see in a beautiful sunset, those are her favorites. as a kindred she's an early riser so she gets stoked seeing a wonderful end to the day just as she's about to prowl the night. signifies a lot of things, mainly that she's made it another night in her unlife which is always a good thing. as for food i think she loves pastries, both sweet and savory but leans a biiit more to the sweet side. she loves fruit pies. too bad she doesn't eat food anymore, because she used to make a mean blueberry ginger pie. it's the best thing ever, or so she says. she has many regrets, but not penning that recipe down, for a woman so committed to knowledge and the preservation of it? tantamount to the burning of alexandria. she dislikes other tremeres, particularly the pyramid tremeres who are way too into the power structure-- which are all of them, i guess. well to be fair they have been trying to hunt her down for the last, what? 70 years?

ditya: bottle green. it's such a nice and calming shade, a color that reminds him of his childhood. it's the color of the leaves of his favorite tree to climb as a little rascal. the color of the bottles his uncles drink from when he's listening to them tell life stories as they play cards. the color of his old man's vespa. he's not precious about his childhood memories especially now that it's a really long time ago, but that color is nice to reminisce about. his favorite food would be this one mister's chicken noodles whose stall used to pass by his home. maybe it was the most delicious thing ever, or maybe it was because it was a bargain for the portion you get. again, it was a long time ago. i don't think there's a specific clan he dislikes, though being a ravnos he's bound to have scuffles with the gangrel. but he'd never show disdain upfront. the guy might look like a classless loser but he's a master in javanese social cues. which means he's a fucking weirdo with too much decorum.

▪︎ I like to think that they're both protective over the other 💭 Maybe equally so, it's just a little hard to tell. Denji is more physically protective. He wants to make sure Gabi is safe!! Because he values her and doesn't like seeing her hurt. He isn't overwhelmingly protective, but if she's going somewhere? He's going too (so he can keep her safe !... and so he can spend time with her but shh)

□ Meanwhile, Gabi is protective in the more emotional sense. Ofc she's also protective in the physical sense, but moreso emotionally. She doesn't wanna see Denji hurt in a way that he can't drink blood and heal from. Looks out for him and steers him away from people who only wanna use him!! Gently reminds Denji that he's got people in his corner. Let's him know when someone is ... suspicious. Stuff like that! Or something idk it's like really late right now :3

▪︎ Denji is a better cook, but Gabi is the better baker. In situations where they live together, they'll take turns cooking, but Gabi will always make meals that she doesn't need to make from scratch, like salmon or whatever, whereas Denji would be fine with making things from scratch... sort of. He's definitely willing to learn, at the very least. Gabi? Not so much. She likes baking, though. Finds it easier than cooking, for some... odd reason.

▪︎ I've mentioned this before sometime in the past, but they definitely have promise rings. It's nothing serious, of course. Just an idea that Gabi played around with for a little while that started off as something silly (getting them silly spider rings from Party City) but soon developed into something with a little more merit (getting thin, gold bands). At first Denji wasn't really into it but I like to think he accepted it after a while 💭 And by "accept it" I mean he probably gets really petty when Gabi takes hers off to do something.

"Does that thing mean NOTHING to you?!" And she's just trying to put on some gloves to season some meat or smthn💀

▪︎ Gabi acts as Denji's impulse control. Goes "Hey, let's think about this for a moment!!" When she sees Denji about to make a not so smart decision. She doesn't dictate what he does, she let's him do what he wants at the end of the day. She doesn't like being controlling, and wants Denji to be able to make decisions for himself. But she does let him know when something doesn't seem like such a good idea.

She will, however, put her foot down if he tries to eat raw meat. Or trash. Or something that fell on the floor.

"Put. That. DOWNN."

She's serious when it comes to his health. Will let most things slide w/ his decision making unless it'd directly harm him (eating.. tidepod for $5)

▪︎ Denji sometimes has to squeeze Gabi just to confirm that she's real. Gives her a hug and holds on tightly. Squeezes her hand. Stares at her for a bit before smooshing her face. Yknow. Just to make sure.

▪︎ They're both like.... really jealous people. Sort of ties in to the protective thing mentioned earlier, but Denji's the type of guy to side eye a dude if he's talking with Gabi. It's usually just a feeling of " >:/" because guys don't really approach Gabi and Gabi is ... not a very big fan of speaking with others in general. But sometimes when he feels like there's some ulterior motive behind an interaction, he starts to get more obviously jealous. Definitely whines to Gabi afterwards about how that guy was "totally checking [Gabi] out" and how he didn't like that guy .. He was just asking Gabi for some directions </3

□ Gabi gets jealous easily, but it usually doesn't really bother her. I'd always imagine that, while Denji is insanely loyal, he's still very partial and bias for women. He won't beg for attention from girls, but like ... yk. Ykk. He'll act as a chair for girls, or he'll do things for them if they ask, and Gabi will sometimes be a little iffy about it, but she's got enough trust in Denji not to get too upset. It's really a 50/50% chance if she does something if a girl is like... actively flirting with Denji, though. Sometimes it makes Gabi uncomfy to the point where she's awkwardly standing there, mentally going "who tf ..??", but sometimes Gabi will be petty and not so subtly drop hints indicating that she's his s/o and that things are pretty closed. (Both of their jealousy issues probably stem from .. like.. GENUINE issues tbh but I can't think of what those are rn)

▪︎ As nice as Gabi finds it that Denji would like to help her with her hair, she does NOT let Denji in her head. He wants to play with her hair? Sure, fair game as long as he's careful about it! But she'd rather not let him help her wash her hair out, nor does she want him styling her hair. She knows he'd be willing to learn, but had decided to make the executive decision to. Not let him.

□ Gabi LOVES being in Denji's hair, though. Likes playing with it, running her fingers through it, washing it for Denji. Despite the hypocrisy, he let's her do it with minimal complaints (but the complaints aren't complaints, just him whining that he wants to do her hair too)

▪︎ I like to think that they take baths together 💭 Not all the time because Gabi prefers showers (and she takes them alone) but sometimes they'll hop into the tub for some bubble bath time. I'd imagine that they'd help each other wash off 💭💭 also. Prime time for Gabi to wash Denji's hair for him :3c Although ... Gabi probably did try and drown Denji once but it's okay she was j playing ☆

▪︎ Denji is sort of into Sonic, but only because of Gabi. She's the one whose super into it. In a modern timeline, Gabi forced Denji to watch her play Frontiers (he had to comfort her when she sobbed over the ending. He didn't get why she was crying so hard though </3)

▪︎ Gabi and Denji usually live separately, but want to move in together. But to be honest? They might as well be considered actual roommates considering how much Gabi comes over to Denji's place 💀 Like you sleep, eat, and just chill at his place atp you might as well pack your bags and stay there (lowkey it's because of the dogs. She loves em!! But there's alot of them and unfortunately Gabi is much more of a cat person </3)

▪︎ In instances where Gabi's debut is in part one, their first ever date was a dinner date ♡♡ They prepped and ate Makima btw (delicious)

this is a laptop tutorial, so mobile settings may not be the same

i'm already signed in, but i believe this is what it looks like to new users as well.

(1) click create new and CHOOSE ANY IMAGE SIZE! for a square, press art grid.

(2) now that we're here, we want to go to the left and press the T, which will lead you to a text box, and then CLICK "ADD NEW TEXT", the upmost button on the new pop-out.

reminder: don't use the box labeled "name" to put your text, as that names the layer. use the box labeled "text".

for my example text, i'm going to use "soobfi." from the word i chose, i'm going to take out one letter and replace it with a space.

this is because in the text, you have to leave a space for the cursive letter like shown below. without the cursive "i," it's simply th_ef.

the letter i'll be taking out is B. (3) REPLACE THE LETTER YOU'RE REMOVING WITH TWO SPACES.

(4) now, let's ADD A FONT. the one i'm using below is candu by dora typefoundry. (download is linked)

please ignore how i already sized it up T^T same steps still apply

text sidebar -> scroll until you see font: verdana -> click it and select "+ add local font" -> select an .otf or .ttf file -> press okay (in file explorer) -> font is inputted

don't like the candu font? here's a list of similar fonts to look through! (link)

tip: to adjust your text, click it so the border surrounding it highlights in blue.

use the horizontal knobs on left or right to make your textbox (not your text) shorter or longer.

to make your text bigger or smaller, use the knob on the bottom.

you can also do this by scrolling down on the left side (where you wrote your text) and find size and alter it there.

to move around your text, click and drag.

(my settings: candu, size 200, middle align)

now, let's add the cursive letter. (5) ADD ANOTHER TEXT BOX.

go to the sidebar -> press the "T"

click "add new text"

there are two things that can happen when making a text box (both are shown in the video)

if you make a new text box while having no other text selected, it will add a regular text and you won't have to take any additional steps.

if you make a new text box with the previous text selected, you will have to click *off* of the selected area and unhide the previous layer.

can't see the layers? press the arrow on the right side. how to unhide the bottom layer? press the eye icon with a line through it.

(6) PLACE THE REMOVED LETTER IN THE NEW TEXTBOX. for me, this letter is b, so i'll add b to the new textbox. (i later on changed b -> B)

i'm not sure if it may be me only, but when i tried texting in the new textbox, it wouldn't let me type any letters.

if this is the case- reload. if reloading still doesn't work, copy the letter you're making cursive and paste it into the textbox.

(7) TURN YOUR LETTER CURSIVE. i will show the gif on how to change fonts again if refreshers are needed.

please be aware that you have to click a .ttf or .otf file. if you download a font and it's in a package (.zip), open the folder and extract the .ttf/.otf file.

the font i'm using for the b only is acroterion. (download is linked)

my favorites: darleston, optiyork-script, tc wedding3, and beautiful.

"these look too swirly/extravagant for the style i'm going for" -> don't worry, as we're only using one letter from the font. the contrast from the sans-serif to the cursive is supposed to be drastic. still, if you would like a more minimal cursive look, here are some that i reccommend.

(8) SIZE THE LETTER TO MATCH THE REST OF THE TEXT. you can move text by clicking and dragging, and adjust the size by using the knob on the bottom (pulling it up and down) or scrolling down on the sidebar and adjusting the size from there.

please make the textbox as small as the text.

how? move the tabs on the left or right of the textbox to shorten or lengthen it. this *will* move your text, but it's okay as you can move it back.

i didn't record it, but i re-centered the text because i moved it downwards. if you want to center the text, click the sans-serif (the print letters) and adjust the cursive letter to match.

(9) save using the blue box in the bottom right corner and you're done!! you did so well ^3^ need any help? my inbox, asks, and replies are always open :D
