The Life of The Prophet Muhammad(pbuh): The Battle of Tabuk and Afterwards

 Some Other Important Incidents of the 9th year of the Migration

 Urwa b. Mas’ud Becomes a Muslim and then he is Martyred

Urwa b. Mas’ud was one of the notables of Taif. When the Prophet besieged Taif with his army, he was in Jurash, Yemen. He was learning the art of making catapults, etc for the defense of Taif.

After the Prophet lifted the siege, he returned to Taif. After a while, God Almighty placed love of Islam in his heart and he went to Madinah. He became a Muslim in the month of Rabiul-Awwal in the 9th year of the Migration. The Prophet became very glad when he became a Muslim.

After staying in Madinah for a while, Urwa b. Mas’ud said to the Messenger of God, “O Messenger of God! Let me go and invite my tribe to Islam.”

The Messenger of God knew that the people of Taif were the captives of their conceitedness and hence avoided becoming Muslims. Therefore, he said to Urwa, “They will kill you.”

Urwa said, “O Messenger of God! They love me more than their own children.” He repeated his wish to go.

The Prophet said again, “They will kill you.”

Urwa trusted in the love and respect of the people of Taif to him.

He said, “O Messenger of God! Let alone killing me, they will not even awaken me when I am asleep.”

Then, he repeated his wish for the third time.

Thereupon, the Messenger of God said, “All right! Go if you want to go.”

Urwa set off to go to Taif at once. He invited the people of Taif to become Muslims.

The people of Taif, who were the captives of their conceitedness, threw arrows at him and martyred Urwa b. Mas’ud, whom they loved very much.

When the Prophet heard that he was martyred, he said, “His situation in his tribe is like the one with the person of Yasin. The person of Yasin had invited his tribe to believe in God but his tribe killed him.” Then, he said, “Thank God; He sent a person like the person of Yasin to my ummah.”

Death of Umm Ruman, the wife of Hazrat Abu Bakr

Hazrat Abu Bakr’s wife, Umm Ruman, whose real name was Zaynab, became a Muslim in Makkah in the first years of Islam and paid allegiance to the Prophet. She was the mother of Abdurrahman and Hazrat Aisha.

Umm Ruman died in the 9th year of the Migration. The Prophet entered her grave and asked forgiveness for her from God Almighty.

Mash over Khuffs(Leather Socks)

During the Expedition of Tabuk, the Prophet ordered the Muslims to wipe over their khuffs while making wudu. The period for the validity of mash was three days (seventy-two hours) for travelers and one day (twenty-four hours) for non-travelers (residents).

Dhat Al-Hajj fort lies between the Halat Ammar Center and Tabuk city on the ancient Shami Hajj Road, also known as Al-Tabukiya road, which was once a popular route for pilgrims from the Levant traveling to Makkah and Madinah. Many of them would take the opportunity to rest at the fort during their long journey, and it was also a convenient meeting point for convoys of pilgrims — thus becoming a place where cultures would often mix, swap stories and trade goods. Built in 1564 CE, Dhat Al-Hajj is a fine example of the regional architecture of the time and is one of the most historically significant forts on the Shami Hajj Road. Its name is reportedly derived from a plant that grew abundantly in the area. The fort is a rectangular five-room building, with an entrance in the western wall through to the interior courtyard. Outside the fort stands a pool that is the source of the drinking areas used by passers-by. The location became still more important when the Hijazi Railroad was established in the early 20th century.   Despite their names, both the fort and the road were used throughout the year by merchants, and not just by pilgrims during Hajj.

"The Jihad." Introduction to Surah At Tawbah.

At-Tawbah (Arabic: ٱلتوبة, lit. 'the Repentance') is the ninth chapter (sura) of the Quran. It contains 129 verses (ayat) and is one of the last Medinan surahs. This Surah is known by two names, At-Taubah and Al-Bara'at.

It is believed by Muslims to have been revealed at the time of the Expedition of Tabuk in Medina in the 9th year of the Hijrah. The Sanaa manuscript preserves some verses, on parchment radiocarbon dated to between 578/44 bh and 669/49 ah.

I ended Surah Al Anfal with a call for Jihad against the United States of America for failing to deal with grandest threat to world peace and order in history, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and its assmeat puppets the Repubican Party who in spite of the obviousness of the requirements, committed the greatest sin a man, woman or government can commit: in spite of the accumulation of great wealth, all they have done is been stingy. They refused the people of Ukraine when they came to them for military and financial assistance and now millions are going to die.

When Zakah cannot be observed because of corruption, then there must be Jihad.

Further, the White House has failed to end oppression against women, LGBTQ persons, and has not addressed the Capitol Coup on January 6, the election fraud of 2016 and has allowed organized crime and the trafficking of minors to persist within a stone's throw from its front lawn, all perpetrated by Donald Trump, whom it jeers at during election campaigns rather than dousing him with gasoline and putting him to death for his crimes.

All of the above negligence resulted in the terror attacks by the Mormons and Hamas on the innocent people of Israel on October 7, 2023. There has been no honesty about this and everyone is blaming Israel for the defense of itself. Attacks on Israel or its people, the birthplace of the Religion are forbidden, they are utter blasphemy.

This means America is also violating Hudud, Iman, and Sadaq- rule of law, belief in the Sacred, and the Truth. The end result is a dire threat to the hopes and dreams of believers for Masjid, the creation of an international Sacred Precinct that envelopes the entire earth.

All Muslims are required therefore to do what is needed to peacefully curtail the ability of the US Governmnet to continue to promote the existence of Donald Trump, the Republican Party or the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Upon public acknowledgement by Joe Biden of the demise of Donald Trump et al for the grave harm they have done to this world by what they have been done and left undone and release of their plans for remediation, AKA their Repentance, the Jihad will end.

Thus begins the Surah.

9: 1-15:

˹This is˺ a discharge from all obligations,1 by Allah and His Messenger, to the polytheists you ˹believers˺ have entered into treaties with:

“You ˹polytheists˺ may travel freely through the land for four months, but know that you will have no escape from Allah, and that Allah will disgrace the disbelievers.”1

A declaration from Allah and His Messenger ˹is made˺ to all people on the day of the greater pilgrimage1 that Allah and His Messenger are free of the polytheists. So if you ˹pagans˺ repent, it will be better for you. But if you turn away, then know that you will have no escape from Allah. And give good news ˹O Prophet˺ to the disbelievers of a painful punishment.

As for the polytheists who have honoured every term of their treaty with you and have not supported an enemy against you, honour your treaty with them until the end of its term. Surely Allah loves those who are mindful ˹of Him˺.

But once the Sacred Months have passed, kill the polytheists ˹who violated their treaties˺ wherever you find them,1 capture them, besiege them, and lie in wait for them on every way. But if they repent, perform prayers, and pay alms-tax, then set them free. Indeed, Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

And if anyone from the polytheists asks for your protection ˹O Prophet˺, grant it to them so they may hear the Word of Allah, then escort them to a place of safety, for they are a people who have no knowledge.

How can such polytheists have a treaty with Allah and His Messenger, except those you have made a treaty with at the Sacred Mosque?1 So, as long as they are true to you, be true to them. Indeed Allah loves those who are mindful ˹of Him˺.

How ˹can they have a treaty˺? If they were to have the upper hand over you, they would have no respect for kinship or treaty. They only flatter you with their tongues, but their hearts are in denial, and most of them are rebellious.

They chose a fleeting gain over Allah’s revelations, hindering ˹others˺ from His Way. Evil indeed is what they have done!

They do not honour the bonds of kinship or treaties with the believers. It is they who are the transgressors.

But if they repent, perform prayer, and pay alms-tax, then they are your brothers in faith. This is how We make the revelations clear for people of knowledge.

But if they break their oaths after making a pledge and attack your faith, then fight the champions of disbelief—who never honour their oaths—so perhaps they will desist.

So˺ fight them and Allah will punish them at your hands, put them to shame, help you overcome them, and soothe the hearts of the believers—

removing rage from their hearts. And Allah pardons whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

Commentary:

Rage against Jerusalem is forbidden. Deviations from the Law and the laws are forbidden. We are all bound by treaties and agreements and Constitutions that compel us to behave in certain lawful and righteous ways.

Why is this not happening then? There must be a repentance so there can be a pardon and peace and unity can prevail. The White House must lead this effort, of this there is no doubt. Then the world must follow, unify Jerusalem and Israel, establish government and citizenship for the world's suffering, and put all non-believers and usurpers into the fire.

This world cannot be left to wander into the darkness.

Thus begins the Jihad.

They’ll also build a second Marriott with different branding at the resort. Trojena is set to be Saudi Arabia’s first ski resort, located in the Tabuk region in the northwest of the country and near the Jordanian border, above the Gulf of Aqaba. It is a part of the larger NEOM mega city project as the country seeks to diversity from its oil based economy, using its vast income from global oil sales to finance it. The exact details of how Trojena will get reliable snow have yet to be confirmed. The centre is being built in Saudi Arabia’s Sarawat Mountains which peak at over 2,500m and do get temperatures below freezing on occasion in winter, but the climate is very dry and the occasional dusting of snow short-lived. However technologies that make snow in refrigerated units to spray onto slopes in positive temperatures continue to develop, as do techniques to store snow for use at locations where snow cover is more unpredictable, so making and maintaining snow is possible anywhere, it just becomes more expensive and energy intensive the warmer it is. It’s worth noting that the dry climate is favourable to snow production and that the NEOM development is due to be entirely carbon neutral. Besides the ski slopes, it has been announced that Trojena will house other activities including a “futuristic water park.” It is also unclear at what stage the construction of Trojena is currently at and whether construction work has begun. The project was announced several years ago with an opening date of “late 2026” mooted. It was also been awarded host status for the 2029 Asian Winter Games in 2029 before construction began. Although there’s no timescale on construction of the Marriott W Trojena hotel, the company says it will be located within the development’s Lake Village and feature a spa and fitness centre, four restaurants, shops, entertainment areas, 236 guest rooms, including 47 suites, with views of the mountains and a freshwater lake. The wider Lake Village at Trojena where the hotel is being built will be based around a 2.8km long lake that will also feature attractions including an “an enchanted forest” and watersports. The company’s second hotel, a 500 room JW Marriott Hotel, will be situated in The Bow water park, which  Marriott International, will incorporate technology to create a natural living environment in the dry desert mountains. The hotel will feature a spa, swimming pools, fitness centre, kids club, five restaurants and a ballroom. “Trojena redefines the understanding of ultra-luxury hospitality and mountain tourism.
