Some late August Tachikawa shenanigans with Mia

In late August, the Kobe earl tea brand Catherine Tea had a soft cream fair in Tachikawa, and I used that as an excuse to go try some kissas on my list, but we kept being turned away (too full or just closed), so we ended up going to an old sobaya and a semi-old kissa that only had healthy drinks left on their menu.

Lumine Tachikawa Tamagotchi Summer 2024 Event

Lumine Tachikawa, a big shopping center in Tachikawa City, Tokyo, Japan is holding a summer event in collaboration with Tamagotchi! From Thursday, August 1st, 2024 to Sunday, September 1st, 2024.

You can buy a riddle-solving kit to take part in for ¥550, solve the riddles all around the shopping center and it turns into a ¥500 yen gift card. Mametchi be visiting to greet guests on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 & Sunday, August 4th, 2024.

The three shops in the shopping center will sell the limited sweets of Kuchipatchi and Mametchi (Kuchipatchi confectionary, Mametchi taiyaki, Mametchi strawberry tart, cream sodas). If you show the kit to some restaurants, cafes and shops, you can get an original Tamagotchi sticker, there are five total.
