He’s grown to be a pretty sweet old man, albeit still sassy and/or sarcastic on occasion. Using the knowledge he’s gained from traveling firsthand all around the globe, he teaches his young-adult students about different places and cultures, and how those lands have helped shape those very cultures (and so on).

As you can see, the oldie has a pair of glasses. He’s gained quite a bit of things as he’s aged, but—same with his youth—his vision is slowly starting to flee from him in the process. Near sighted; bifocal glasses.

Idk I’m bad at explaining this stuff, just know you’ll get it eventually!! ^^

What is this? Possibly a new challenge based on some random AU plots. It's still in development, but I've already made a sketch for one of the proposed options for the challenge

TEACHER AU

Sonic and Amy tried themselves as teachers, but as soon as they went out to drink tea in the staff room, chao students began to misbehave throughout the school)

Sonic AU idea: the major characters are all kids at the same school and the canon storylines are them roleplaying at recess. Eggman is the teacher or principal they all hate and make the big bad villain of their games.

Other characters like silver and blaze go to another school and that's why they're only in the story sometimes under the right conditions. Because they can only meet up with them after school or during summer.

Outside their game the story is similar to Recess (the Disney cartoon) where the minor antagonists are mean teachers or bullies they have to deal with.

Hear me out, Sonic au where all the characters are preschoolers and all their adventures are roleplay and eggman is the tired teacher who just wants to keep the kids under control.

AU: Dukes got a strange new teacher, Jason has a weird neighbour, Dick helped a poor civillian with two broken legs, and Tim's got a bad feeling about the knew Wayne Enterprises employee. Who knew they'd turn out to be the same person? Or... Dannys stuck in Gotham, how, why, when? To be confirmed, although, he's positive its something to do with a certain time-turning asshole. But now he's got bats on his tail and a serious case of the munchies. Good thing Sam and Tucker learned early on to slap a tracker on his phone.

Smol Teaser

Dick stumbled forwards, chain rattling around his foot as it pulled taunt. He hit the deck.

“No!”

Duke closed his eyes – and for a moment, he wondered what it would’ve been like if he’d just stayed home like he’d planned to – as Danny descended, mouth split into a feral smile and scythe in motion.

Then, “Bang!”

Dukes’ ears screamed as something exploded, a sonic boom erupting somewhere to his right. A fiery green blast flashed through the air, smacking into Danny like a sledgehammer and sending him hurtling into the concrete pillar in a blast of dust and debris.

Duke took in a sharp breath, eyes fettering over where the teacher landed. His eyes locked on Dick, who was staring over his shoulder from his place on the floor.

“Ha! Bullseye!” Duke startled at the voice and whipped to his right. “I am literally a God.”

Had he been transported to Men in Black right now? Because there was no other explanation for what this was right now. The owner of the voice was a young African American, with neat cornrows and dressed in a suit straight out of MIB, save for the sunglasses which were substituted for a slick pair of black framed glasses.

With a huff, the newcomer hefted an enormous smoking bazooka to rest between his shoulder blade and collarbone. He looked over the room with a grin. “Worry not ladies, knight with shining armour reporting for duty.” He proclaimed with a cheeky grin and a wink, patting the weapon’s steel side fondly, “No, need to thank me. Just doing my job.”

There was a click, and the stranger froze, “Who in the hell are you?” Jason growled through his modulator, stepping out of the shadows to the left of new guy, pistol aimed for a head shot.

The stranger’s eyes slid, acknowledging Jason’s gun from his peripheral. “Sure…” He drawled cautiously, ‘shoot the man with the bazooka. Do it.”

Jason pulled out his second gun. Head titling in challenge.

New guy grinned. “Geez, calm your tits. Names Foley, Tucker Foley.” He reached into his blazer pocket, pulling out a badge. “FBI”

The FBI?

Jason lowered his pistols. “The fuck is the FBI doing in Gotham?” Duke would like to know the same thing.

Tucker shrugged, “Shits and gigs” he said, dropping the bazooka from his shoulder, and catching its nose on his foot before he propped it up against the closest wall. He swivelled, jabbing a finger over at the downed spectre. “Mostly that troublemaker though. Do you mind if I–actually, why am I even asking you?” He stalked over to the cracked concrete pillar and jabbed at foot at Dukes downed teacher, shifting his lifeless body “Oi, Danny.”

Duke didn’t know how to break the news. “Um, Mr. Foley? He’s not–Well, he was killed by something, we don’t know what exactly. I don’t think he’s–yeah…Sorry.” Ever so eloquently put.

Tucker raised a brow, “Are you trying to tell me he’s dead?”

Duke resisted the urge to point out that this Tucker guy did actually shoot him into the wall with a bazooka. He was dead before anyway, but still.

“Obviously,” Jason grumbled, crossing his arms. “Some occult thing.”

“Right.” Tucker’s face twisted into a slight frown, and he nudged the body again. “Danny, stop foxing and get up.”

There was a groan and Duke took an involuntary step back.  

Tucker prodded Danny again. “C’mon, up and at ‘em.”

“5 more minutes.” Danny rolled over onto his side. “M’kay?”

Dick’s mouth was wide open at the scene. “Are you serious right now?”

Danny popped his head up, hair and face covered in dust, his eyes narrowed. “You’d think coming at them with a scythe would scare them off, right Tuck?”

“I told you it wasn’t going to work.” A feminine voice came from the doorway, and a woman stepped into the room. “But please, feel free to be disappointed.” She was dressed in back cargo pants, and a cropped purple tee, dark hair neatly braided down her back. She leaned against the door, “You missed our anniversary.” She said pointedly towards Danny.

Danny dropped his head back to the floor. “Can we go back to when I was just a lifeless corpse?”

Tucker gwuaffed. “You’re already a lifeless corpse, there’s nothing to go back to, stupid."

Doodle Request #5!

You have no idea what you've done. This doodle request has made me spiral into making my own self indulgent au.

I've never more times in my life used 'cause I want to' as an excuse for something. This entire au is just self indulgent fluff. At first, I looked at the request and went 'oh, they probably don't realize how small hedgehogs are or how big baby foxes are.' and then I was like 'okay, but Mobian'. AND THEN I was like 'okay, but it'd be funny if Sonic was like- almost an adult in this drawing.' and it just spiraled into this. I want to make so many more doodles of this au FUCK.

So everything isn't set in stone yet, aside form their ages I think.

Amy is 19, she's studying to become a teacher. She works at a daycare.

Sonic is 22, he picks up odd jobs where ever he travels in his van.

Tails is 8, he also picks up odd jobs, but more mechanically centered ones (and way less jobs because Sonic will not allow the kit to overwork himself).

Knuckles is 23, he guards the Master Emerald still, but he also is a pro at arts and crafts (mostly pottery).

I know I wrote 'plane' in the doodles (if you can even read them, my handwriting is a nightmare there), but I was originally thinking van that Tails later modifies into a plane-van combo.

Do they have powers? Yes. Because I want them to. Are there magical gemstones? Yes. Because I want there to. Is Eggman trying to take over the world? Eh, I don't think so. I like chill vibes, plus how is Sonic gonna beat up a Motobug if he isn't even as tall as the tire? Why are they wearing clothes? Because I want them to! Why is everyone but Tails aged up? BECAUSE I WANT THEM TO (and it's funny to me).

Sonic and Tails live in a van (that he stole) and travel around. Sure, Sonic has super speed (he's not afraid of showing it off), but he just likes driving (he had to diy an entire system just so he could drive). Plus, it's fortunate that he stole that van, because carrying around supplies needed for a toddler already twice your size when you met them is definitely not light.

Sonic AU where Sonic is really just a highschool kid and the Sonic franchise as we know it is really just him daydreaming in class and/or writing fanfic about his life.

In reality, Sonic isn't cool or confident at all. He's kinda a mess and always gets picked on. He's not good at sports and he runs out of breath just running to class.

He's hopelessly in love with Amy, but she's way too cool for him and doesn't even know he exists, so that's why he always makes her super in love with HIM in his fantasies. Amy’s also on the cheer team.

Tails is still Sonic’s best friend honorary little brother irl, but he has trouble learning and is really struggling in school. Sonic always believes in him though.

Knuckles is the waaaaaaay cooler than Sonic captain of the football team. He's beat up Sonic once or twice, but overall Sonic looks up to him. He sees Knuckles as his role model, the kind of guy he wants to be someday. Confident. Strong.

Shadow is the weird new kid that never talks and always sits at the back of the class. Sonic knows practically nothing about this guy, so he made up most of his backstory (and personality) from scratch. So, the Ark, the Ultimate Lifeform, even Maria’s existence?? All 100% fiction created by Sonic.

Rouge is the popular girl who's always spreading gossip with her friends. She keeps up to date on all the latest fashion trends and always looks absolutely stunning. Sonic had a crush on her for a second there before he fell in love with Amy. Sonic’s also seen Rouge talk to Shadow a few times, which is why he made them friends in his daydreams.

Silver comes from a MEGA rich family. He got all sorts of high tech stuff that he just treats so casually. It's like this kid is from the future!

Blaze is a foreign exchange student who only barely speaks English but is still doing pretty well in school and is pretty well liked by the other kids. Sonic’s hung out with her a few times to help her with her science homework.

Finally, Eggman is really a teacher at the school. In fact he's the teacher who all the students universally agree is the worst and they all hate him. Most of the daydreams happen in his class. Other villains from the Sonic franchise are in actuality, other teachers at the school. Sonic doesn't have as much against them though, which is why they're usually one-off villains.

Putting a read more cause I'm gonna go off and it might be a little long.

For a very general rundown of what Hearts of Chaos is, I mish-mash Sonic and Kingdom Hearts together. Amy is the protagonist and she gets to have a keyblade. She essentially becomes a magical girl keyblade wielder. That's the bare bones explanation for now.

Just for fun, I'm gonna make a pocket AU of Hearts of Chaos where these two exist (because I can and I love these two a lot). I'm gonna be focusing on Camellia a lot, so stay with me on this.

Since Amy is a keyblade wielder in my AU, that means later in the future, she becomes a master. When her and Blaze do make it official and have Camellia and Thistle, Camellia becomes the next keyblade wielder. And who is her teacher? Amy. Thistle can't have a keyblade yet because he's not old enough (not old enough according to Amy). With Camellia being able to wield a keyblade, it makes travel between the Sol dimension to Sonic's much easier than having to rely on the Sol Emeralds.

However, Camellia has competition. Another hedgehog; Not Shadow, not Sonic, not Silver. Another hedgehog who looks similar to her mother. Another hedgehog who has her mom's pyrokinesis.

An AU where Twilight Sparkle is the Tree of harmony. The Sonic rainboom having an unexpected effect on the Tree, it seemingly shattering in a burst of magic and a Crystalline unicorn filly in its place.

Twilight Sparkle was born and raised in the Everfree forest. Raised partially by the forest itself, and by a white alicorn who visits periodically. Twilight Sparkle considers the white alicorn her mother and teacher. The Everfree forest is her home which she protects and guards.

The Everfree forest, while it is kept at bay by Twilight's magic, is protective of her. The wildlife and plant life that calls it home guards and protects her just as much as she guards and protects them.

Around the time Twilight was born she accidentally hatched a dragon egg. A dragon egg that was previously unfertilized and abandoned. Now the dragon that follows her is a new breed of dragon special to the Everfree forest. Twilight named him spike. He looks Crystalline like Twilight and how the tree of harmony once was.
