YouTube down: YouTube Is Down for Users in Europe and America

The technical issue leads many pages and videos to Error 404. On Friday 15 May, some users in Europe and America started commenting on problems accessing YouTube. When a user attempted to access a channel page, some videos, or other elements of the site, the error message was presented to them: "This page is not available. Sorry. Sorry. Seek to find something else.' The subscription page led users to receive a message saying: "Sorry, there’s a temporary issue loading your subscriptions. Please revisit this page shortly to try again.” Website status detector Down Detector saw a spike in traffic problems with the website on 15 May 2020 at 12:15am BST. The detector site received thousands of user submissions in countries like the United Kingdom , the United States and Canada regarding the failure. “I almost had a heart attack when YouTube went down. I thought my channel got deleted somehow”, one Twitter user commented about the outage. “what the hell we gon do now”, stated another. YouTube has addressed the error in a tweet stating: “If you were experiencing error messages on YouTube, the issue is now fixed. It lasted for approx. ~20 minutes across home, subscriptions, search and more.
