don’t take this too seriously, i just watch a lot of Blake Jennings and thought it would be fun to make something in that style :P

Well, I got into I Expect You To Die (I'm blaming @solobodor for this!!!!!!!! /lh) and I also got inspired to make my own designs for the characters! These are all very first-pass designs (except for phoenix. maybe) and they're definitely all subject to changing. Especially Hivemind and Ollie who I just threw in there so Fabricator and Solaris wouldn't look so lonely.

The Phoenix page in the bottom preceded the line up, but that's the extent of my concepts for them UDSHFSDKJSD I'm not sure if I'll stick with the silhouette style, or if I'll make these guys actual designs ??? Both can exist at the same time, so who knows.

Oh right yeah also the games are really good and fun!

ok so, apparently I never posted THIS cutie patootie publicly. I kept telling myself I should post it but, well!! I forgor.

Anyways this is Crabicator, aka Crabby! Born from an idea where Fabricator realized Prism left some of her spare parts in her workshop. If Fabby was an outstanding Zoraxis employee (and she is. Or she's supposed to be.), she should've definitely thrown away those parts by now. Pointless scrap from an equally pointless engineer.

And somehow Fabby ends up with a mishmash of a robot in her workshop. More info about it below the cut because I rambled a bit HEH + some concept sketches on its design!

Crabby's functionality is a Bit limited when compared to Prism's dearest robots. It can't float properly and upgrades are a bit sparse. But Fabby did make some modifications to the kinesium core so that it doesn't have to overheat when it does a blasty blast. Also it Knows a little bit of bartending, but the only recipe it knows to make, like, properly is Water on the Rock. where the water is poured in a glass with one singular ice cube. And Fabby is very proud of it, thank you very much.

It also has jank memories of Prism's programming inside its head. It's barely comprehensible to it now, and it doesn't remember anything concrete. It makes Crabby wonder, sometimes, what Dr. Prism was really like. If she'd like to meet Crabby. Fabby doesn't seem to want to answer its questions about her.

Fabricator also claims it's a weapon of mass destruction but if we're being honest, she's just saying that so nobody in Zoraxis has a reason to throw it away. In reality crabby's like this:

So I created a d&d character named Velian and showed it to my partner and they immediately went "Oh that's literally just the fabricator"

And so I asked "Who's the fabricator?"

As promised, here's the next animation! I've since redesigned my rendition of the Fabricator, so this will probably be the only shot that I finish, but for those curious the original animatic and some other behind the scenes tidbits are below the cut!

(Sorry to make it a YouTube link, but I don't currently know if there is a way to get more than one video onto a post and I didn't want to split this up into two separate posts! Either way, I hope everyone here enjoys, even if it's unfinished :] )

Also! I would like to mention that, since I likely won't be continuing this animation, that my ask box (should be) open for suggestions on what lines to animate next! It still amazes me that there are lines I've yet to hear even in my scouring for every scrap in this franchise, so I'd love to animate the lines that people love if possible! I can't guarantee how quickly I get to any of them, but I'll do my best with the time that I have!
