Sure! It was originally created to be part of an dungeons and dragons campaign, but has kind of swerved off into its own thing and I haven't sorted out everything that's staying.

The Liar is the Archfey. Perhaps it once had a more traditional body, or perhaps it has always been as it is now. It is far too old for most to remember where it came from, and it has kept to its own corner of the Feywild for so long that other old beings failed to notice it until it was a power in its own right.

Every plant, animal, stone, and breeze within its meadow are a part of it. Either as a direct part of a disjointed organism, or as an "actor" that it allows to remain to entertain within it. The line between the two is rather blurred. Some who remain long enough quite literally Become it without ever becoming aware that something is amiss. Others are able to come and go without ever losing their individual will.

Its sole motivation is entertainment. It will orchestrate the death of heroes for the sake of tragedy, or it will set up situations for romantic partnerships to form. What it loves most are novelty and surprise. If an actor can provide an element it doesn't expect, or if they're able to beat it at its own game, it will take special interest in their plot (which can be good and bad, depending on what it comes up with).

HOWEVER

There is only so much it can do with its limited allotment of space. It needed an agent who was capable of travel, and of creating plot arcs in different places.

It found this agent in my other OC, Ajax, who is now its partner. He was taken as a child by fairies (& replaced with a changeling) and raised in the Feywild.

I plan on doing a whole write up on their meeting but basically - At some point he stumbled on the meadow and was just such a weird little guy that The Liar fell in love with him. And he thought The Liar was the most beautiful and interesting being he had ever met.

Now he has a (literal) piece of The Liar and its power (literally) in his heart so he can take it where ever he goes while subjecting unsuspecting people to his lover's stories.
