#Their dynamic is my Roman Empire
Text
Its canon that Jason and Leo sneak into Chiron 's rec room in the big house, to play Mario Party six on Nintendo switch. And Leo would also program to game to do stupid stuff so they both can win all the time. I have no idea what you will do with this information, but I'm letting you know anyway.

I'm currently in the process of rewatching The Hunger Games movies, and honestly, I have to be so real "If it weren't for the baby" is my Roman empire. I think about it constantly.
Especially the way they did it in the movie (I'm obsessed with Josh Hutcherson)
THE DELIVERY.
Haymitch's little toast.
The audience SHRIEKING.
Everything about it, I think about it all the time.

Why do you draw and ship skk if you don’t like dazai. I want a genuine reply
this is quite possibly the dumbest question i've ever been asked. i don't hate dazai. he's my second favorite character.
but he's also the character i have a love/hate relationship with due to the fact that he's so complex and intricately written. the moral grayness is such an intriguing aspect and it means i can't love him for everything, bc he HAS committed atrocities that i won't condone. however he's still my babygirl and i love him anyway

“Who’s stupid now, BITCH?!”
Or; Morty finally getting some level of justice via headshotting his grandpa
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I feel like this scene is so underrated. This isn’t the first time Morty has threaten to kill or at least hurt Rick. It is, however the first times he’s actively attacked Rick and had a clear attempt to take his ass out. Morty is so fed up with Rick yelling at him during the standoff that he shoots Rick in the head. Not an arm or leg but in the forehead. He absolutely shot to kill. And yeah, you could say it was a spur-of-the-moment action based on frustration and impulse, but I think that was Morty saying “if we are gonna die anyways, I’ve earned to right to be the one to take you out.”
Because let’s be honest, if anyone deserved to be the one to get back at Rick it would probably be Morty. Now obviously I don’t actually want that to happen. It wouldn’t fit the character arcs they’ve had, but it would also be brutally fitting. A Prime is what got Rick into this mess and a Prime would be what finishes him off. And there’s something symbolical about Morty killing both his best friend and the person that’s hurt him for years.

It’s the way that Annabeth looked at Luke when they were telling percy the plan like he hangs the stars in the sky. The way little siblings (especially with big age gaps) do. Like he is her own personal Greek hero because at SOME POINT HE WAS. And it’s the way that book readers know she will continue to look at him that way in at least a little bit despite knowing what he’s become. Because (a reminder) he was the first person to show her that love isn’t earned.

Meet the Robinsons things I think about way too often: Wilbur Robinson deleted scenes edition
One thing about MTR that I constantly think about is how in the deleted scenes we get a lot of these little moments of Wilbur realizing more and more things about his father and his past.
In the first of the deleted scenes we get an alternate take on Wilbur and Lewis arriving at the future, and in this version, Lewis tells Wilbur just how many failed adoption interviews he has had.
"That's how many adoption interviews I've had, one hundred and twenty four."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And Wilbur looks so sad as the realization hits him. He probably knew that his father was rejected by families in the past, but most likely wasn't told just how many or how that impacted his father.
Then we get another deleted scene, which is a different version of Wilbur trying to cheer up Lewis to convince him to keep working on the memory scanner by telling him about his father's attempts to build the time machine, asking him "what if my dad had given up on his time machine?" and Lewis going "well none of us would be in this mess, that's for sure." Then Wilbur goes on to list all the cool things that Lewis has gotten to do because of the time machine ending with,
"And! I...would never have met you..."
Tumblr media
Like, he looks so happy that he got to meet and befriend this younger version of his dad.
However, Lewis insists on finding his mom saying, that Wilbur is lucky to have such an amazing family and that the time machine is his chance to get one too.
Tumblr media
And Wilbur just looks so guilt ridden here, either because the family Lewis is talking so fondly about is indeed his own family too and its currently at jeopardy or because of the fake promise he made Lewis to take him to see his mom. Or both.
And finally, we get an alternate take on the dinner scene in which the family is asking Lewis questions about himself and he says that,
"Besides Wilbur, I don't have a lot of friends."
And the way this boy smiles when he hears this younger version of his dad calling him a friend just melts my heart every time.
Tumblr media
Overall, I love the film that we got in the end but I still wish some of the stuff from the deleted scenes had made it in, including these little moments of Wilbur understanding his dad more.

ok but like. no children isnt a dean and crowley song at all. i see it on drowley playlists all the time but they literally didtn do jack shit that whole summer but be depressed alcoholics desperately clinging to each other for support ykw i mean. i dont think there was any actual hatred there i think it was just frustration and bitterness over their lost humanity. and theyre fine afterwards, it's not like dean and crowley's relationship is horribly irreparably damaged in any way and it actually gets much better later on
season 6 cas and crowley, though? when theyre trying to find purgatory and arguing constantly, when cas is so full of shame and guilt that he lashes out at crowley every time he points it out and takes it out by torturing random monsters? when crowley finds a twisted sense of satisfaction in corrupting an angel and taunts him for still pretending to be pure and holy? and eventually cas betrays crowley and takes the souls for himself and pays the price for it with his life??? now THAT'S a no children dynamic

ok so i'm re-reading blood and beauty once again, and i have to say that sarah dunant is the superior borgia fiction writer out there. i absolutely love her delicate and evocative writing as well as how she brilliantly humanizes the characters through compelling narratives. not to mention her attention to detail and meticulous research creates a rich historical backdrop, immersing us in the fascinating world of the borgia family. she also has an exceptional understanding of how hot and terrible cesare can be while still making him nuanced. it's a personal win for me as someone who's pretty much bored of his character being softened up and romanticized in other works. the more he does something awful, the more compelling he becomes to me (although he wasn't romanticized much in showtime's the borgias but his image of an over-ambitious, sadistic, gaslighting, and manipulative guy seems to appear innocent that watchers tend to overlook it, and some of his misdeeds were dumped onto juan, like making him the only one having an affair with sancia of aragon when cesare was involved as well, or having him kill lucrezia's lover, paolo, etc., which is why i wasn't as interested in cesare as i was in juan because juan does nasty acts, but you get an idea of why he did what he did and still find the human in the heinous.) the most phenomenal writing part for me was to not lean into the rumors by not having cesare kill juan because it's closer to historical reality. and as much as cesare's 'from envy to fratricide' pipeline can be groundbreaking like how it worked in showtime's the borgias, dunant proved that juan's murder can still be astounding without the fratricide. because even if cesare did have a tempting motive to kill him, as he wanted his position so badly, cesare's letters to him make me doubt that he ever had any involvement in his murder since the letters show so much fraternal love. i also want to add that rodrigo's deep love for his children, while being self-aware and devastated over the fact that he uses them and forces them into roles they're incompetent for and marriages for political gain, was a standout aspect in the book. in short, the book is emotionally engaging because it delves into the intriguing world of the borgia family's renaissance. imo, it's a must-read for borgia enthusiasts.

oh, nothing i’m just thinking about
“i love loki and mobius’ friendship. […] i find it very touching. […] loki is a very defensive, very self-isolating [character]…and mobius is very confronting. because mobius is calm, and warm, and level.
and he confronts loki with, […] a- a sort of presentation of who he is without judgement and with compassion. […] they have a great — it ends up being a great rapport. they have an affection for each other and a -and a respect.
[…] yeah, loki and mobius’ friendship evolves from the fact that they learn a lot from each other about each other. and i think it’s really real. i think there’s a lot of love, and care, and affection there. um, it’s very sincere and…presents something new for loki, i don’t think he’s ever had a friend. before. um.
so yeah. i really loved it.”

what if instead of like regular affiliates, I did like spawnsibling affiliates? because I do like the idea of in threads Ithaca mentioning or making references to other durges/bhaalspawn sibs even though it's not like ""canon"". 🤔
but I'm here to work on a couple of things.
