Asking about one of my rarepairs cuz why not:

Is it okay if you give some headcanons for Lotus x Ananas? Preferably about how they would interact (dynamics and scenarios)!

I have a really clear idea how they do interact, but i just want to hear some other people's ideas (without any context) just for fun! Thank you!

With their clash in personalities: I see them both as being somewhat lavish in a sense? With Ananas being vain in the sense of popularity and gold with Lotus probably enjoying incense and respect. Very similar in that way!

I can definitely see the both of them sitting together on a makeshift throne surrounded by high quality items. Both as a sense of pride but also for their own senses of feeling important.

Unfortunately I don’t think Lotus Dragon can really fly?? They were shown in one video as flying but I’m not sure if that’s still valid?

If they can’t fly, I can see Lotus swimming to the Pineapple Isles on occasion to visit Ananas! With Ananas flying to them but using their cookie form to get through Hortensia Town and the Lotus palace to not cause a panic to the villagers.

Both the Pineapple Isles and the Lotus Paradise cookies are both hospitable in very similar ways so I can see some fun dynamics outside of simply the two dragons.

Ananas would host Luau’s in respect to Lotus and Lotus would arrange festivals for Ananas’s arrival and stay. Again, I see them both as being somewhat vain but they both are aware of it and just feed it.

They are pretty adorable! Their is a bit of potential for other kinds of genre’s (Like Angst, Fluff, Drama, Etc.) these are kind of basic headcanons if it helps.

fun discovery from today's internet rabbit hole:

the first lesbian magazine published in the US, Vice Versa (1947-48), was entirely hand-typed by one Edythe Eyde (better known by her pen name Lisa Ben - yes, that IS an anagram for lesbian). she worked as a secretary with a ton of spare time on her hands, and her boss would tell her he didn't care what she was doing so long as she "looked busy"... so she decided to use her free time to type out copies of a home-made periodical for lesbians, writing most of the content - editorials, book/film reviews, poetry, short stories, and more - herself!

overall, the magazine ran for 9 issues, 16 hand-typed copies of which lisa would mail to friends (well, until one of them advised her she could be arrested for sending "obscene" materials) and distribute at lesbian bars :)

well to answer that, let's look at his mother

and his father - who I owe an apology to! this is a complete tangent, but I thought the other stud at the cattery had cucked him, because Belphegor has white spotting but neither of his parents do. which is genetically impossible (it's a co-dominant, not a recessive, meaning it would always be visible)

but those bat ears of his father, with their notched flanges, are so weird and distinctive! you can see that Belphegor has them, and nearly all of his littermates do too

SO NOW I'm thinking, the father has to have some white spotting that just isn't visible in his photo! right? like a white tail-tip, or a single white toe on his back foot, or maybe a locket on his chest? I've become an ear truther

but what was the original ask, I got completely distracted by the cuckoldry speculation. oh yeah, aging, yeah I think Belphegor will grow up to look noble and beautiful like his mother and his (maybe) father
