Very unhelpful for this poll to end in a tie. I think we'll go with the "sacrifice the next unfortunate visitor/raider" because it makes me feel slightly less guilty about using Dev Mode to spawn a ship even though there's no such thing as cheating in a singleplayer game

Whatever happens, we don't need to include Vance on our ship roster. He's off to enjoy life with his new husband, hopefully somewhere far away from the frosty mornings and brisk winds of this tundra.

I love the name "Sarcastic Fringehead", by the way. I'm convinced Vance's beloved looks like a stereotypical edgy 2000s scene kid, and nobody will make me think otherwise.

as much as I can appreciate the interpretation of enjolras as being a naturally kinda quiet and calm guy, I tend to prefer the idea that he had to teach himself to be charming. he isn't necessarily cruel by nature, but he's intense. the force of his passion can scare even his closest allies as well as his enemies so he learns to file the edge of his knife sharper and smaller and sharper and smaller until he can hide it in a bouquet of flowers.

Steve blinked several times.

Nope. The hole was still very much there. Big and revealing.

Steve blinked at it some more.

There was no way Eddie knew about it. He was pretty weird, granted, but surely, he wasn’t that much of a freak!

“You don’t understand,” Steve tried again. “You have a big hole, right there in your—”

“I said I know!” Eddie’s head turned back, throwing him a look over his shoulder. “What’s your problem, Harrington?”

“No, I-I don’t… I’ve… No problem, man” he finished rather lamely and Eddie turned back to his task.

And it wasn’t a problem, really. But try as he might, Steve couldn’t keep his eyes from wandering stupidly right back to the non-problem. And look, Steve was a jock. He lived and breathed by the simple and sacred laws of the locker room: do not stare at another guy’s junk; and, specially, do not stare at another guy’s ass.

Which was what he was doing. Very much currently.

Eddie snorted loudly and Steve immediately took offence, forcing his eyes away.

Why should he care anyway, if Munson was showing half his ass, his jeans ripped off at the back pocket; grey underwear a bit ripped too, showing more of his pale skin than was probably appropriate.

Why should he care if he found Munson sitting on the picnic table when he came earlier, looking like he got on a fight with the forest floor and lost, badly. Hair wild and riddled with dirt and leaves.

Why should he give a damn about anything, anymore!

Eddie straightened up then, turning with a little bag of five joints dangling off his fingers.

“Here you go.”

Money exchanged hands and Steve took his leave.

He was no more than six steps away, when his own feet betrayed him, making him turn against his will.

“Are you ok?”

Eddie leaned back against the picnic table, giving him a slow once-over.

“Why do you care?”

“I don’t.”

“Then go.”

So Steve did, loudly crushing leaves under his sneakers.

i feel like as a result of fixating so hard on xiv ive been lacking as a friend & just as a presence in ppls lives & i feel some guilt over it but at the same time ive been insanely depressed & otherwise mentally (& physically) afflicted for so long bc of my living conditions & i still have acted as a therapist & cushion for many many ppl to the point of social overexertion & burnout repeatedly so. Merlin but Merlin loses it when Arthur dies and instinctively starts a time loop and every time Arthur dies it automatically resets...for angst purposes it could stay tragic..no matter what he does to change the past kilgharra was right. no one can change their destiny nor can they escape it. or by starting this time loop at all he's doing is preventing the rise of the once and future king so by staving off Arthur's death he's actually preventing anyone from ever really living again. a never ending story with one character aware of the narrative but powerless to change it. a puppet with a brain but no autonomy to put it to use. A tragedy of his own making instead the one prophesized

Kill the notion that Star Wars needs to step away from force users. I don’t know about you, but I love to see space wizards fight with glowy swords. The only thing that needs to change is the good/evil dichotomy of the Light and Dark sides of the Force. Give us a show about a Padawan who tries her hardest to be a great Jedi so she buries her emotions so deep within herself that she loses herself and becomes complacent with Jedi/Senate corruption and turns to the dark side to reconnect with herself and rediscover what made her want to be a Jedi in the first place. Give us the story about a child who’s sibling is taken by the Jedi so they ally with a Sith to break into the Jedi Temple and rescue their sibling. Give us a movie about a Dark Lady of the Sith and her apprentice defending their home planet from being absorbed into a sector of the Republic where their historical oppressors would hold their seat in the Senate.

All those stories could feature epic clashes between Force Wielders without contributing to the perceived stagnation of Star Wars shows featuring Jedi and Sith.
