Moon Twelve - Highdark
Sedgeclan has no Deputy!
Murekit, Pinekit, Saltkit, and Timberkit are made apprentices. Coniferstar tells the story of the clan's founding.
Murekit takes a deep breath, holding carefully still as Wormturn rasps her tongue- again- between his ears.
His littermates- already groomed- are fidgeting a hare-leap away, their pelts sleeker and neater than Murekit’s ever seen them.
Pinekit looks sideways at Timberkit and- slowly- reaches out one paw to swat the back of her head. Wormturn doesn’t even stop grooming Murekit. “Pinekit, if you muss your sister’s pelt–”
He stops, guiltily. Saltkit and Timberkit dissolve into giggling.
The ‘day’, deepest in the heart of winter, is pitch-dark. The sun has not risen for days and days now, and will not rise again for quite some time.
Silhouetted- dark, against the darker sky- is Coniferstar. He stands on the Splitstone, waiting. The jagged, flat-topped boulder is kissed by moonlight, where it spills into the centre of their camp.
He opens his mouth, at last, and calls out, voice high and clear: “Cats of Sedgeclan! Any who have paws to carry them, and ears to listen– gather ‘round!”
Wormturn pulls away from Murekit, at last. He pauses, to smooth the last tuft of unruly fur flat, with his own paw.
He can’t afford to make a bad impression, at the ceremony.
Quickly, Sedgeclan gathers. There aren’t many of them, and everyone’s been expecting it. Harebolt and Snowstreak pad up to sit by Wormturn, chatting with her in low voices.
Murekitturn sits neatly by his siblings, tucking his tail around his paws.
He’s trying not to meet Coniferstar’s eyes directly, worried the older tom will be able to read his desperation in his thoughts. Notice me, pick me, look at me, look at me, won’t you look at me?
He glances over at his siblings instead; big, pale Timberkit. Speckled, nervous-looking Saltkit.
And Pinekit– his only brother. Ginger, like Murekit is, but darker, and more sturdily built; the second biggest, after Timberkit. Everytime Murekit looks at him now, he tries to drink in every detail. One day, he’ll be exiled. And Murekit will never see him again; the faint tabby striping on his tail, and legs. The mischievous twitching of his whiskers, when he’s going to pounce on one of their sisters. The warmth of his pelt, when they all curl up together in the sun, and drift off into sleep.
Unless–
Murekit looks back up to Coniferstar. Look at me. Look at me.
And he does. Just– briefly, Coniferstar glances down. Murekit freezes, the leader’s eyes boring into him; pale, and flat, and calm. His expression is unreadable.
And then he looks up to sweep the clan. The chattering between the adults falls silent. “Today is a day that we should mark. The very first young, of our clan, receiving their apprentice names.”
Murekit lifts his chin, hoping the fur hasn’t sprung back out of place, where a messy tuft tends to stick out beside his shoulder. Pinekit jostles him, nudging his side with a grin.
Coniferstar says; “It feels only right that this should come at a holy time– during the darkest days, when the warmth of sun cannot tempt us to indolence, and the prey is hard– and mouths hungrier than ours stalk the tundra.”
The wind whistles around the camp. Saltkit huddles closer to her siblings, eyes huge and worried.
“But why is this a holy time? These days when we all wish we were curled up inside our dens, sheltering against the cold?” Coniferstar looks across his clan; studies each of them, in turn. “I will tell you, now. The story of our clan. And usher in, with this tale of the path, a new beginning– carried in these brave, young paws.”
He nods down at the group of kits. Murekit meets his eyes, unwilling to seem nervous. Is that a flicker of approval, in his leader’s face?
“In the clan of my birth,” Coniferstar says, “the land was easy. We didn’t have to fight for prey, or warmth; more cats grew old than didn’t, and warriors whiled away their idle days in play, and relaxation.”
It doesn’t sound so bad to Murekit. He glances at his littermates, remembering the hungry days before the clan. Seeing Pinekit and Saltkit withering away, little by little, as starvation gnawed at them. Hearing the desperation in Wormturn’s voice, as she promised them they’d be alright, even as her milk dried up, and her fur fell out, in patches. He tries not to let any longing show on his face, at the description of Coniferstar’s rich territory, the easy hunting.
Coniferstar carries on, meeting every cat’s eyes in turn, so it feels like he’s talking directly to each of them. “But the clan turned away from our ancestors; what use did cats have for Starclan, when the earthly world provided such bounty? They grew selfish, and lazy– without respect for starclan, they abandoned the warrior code, and lived like low, base animals. Even in that plenty, kits and elders starved. A warrior might catch a mouse for sport, and leave it rotting in the sun, while a queen, in the nursery, cried out for the meanest morsel.”
There is a noise, behind Murekit; a little breath. Wormturn– he’s not sure how he knows, only he would recognise his mother, no matter what. Is she remembering the hungry moons, as well? Thinking of a queen starving, with no one there to help?
“And so– as Featherclan had turned their backs on Starclan, Starclan turned their backs on it. They visited me, in my dreams, and delivered me a prophecy. I was newly-named, then, and hoped for a way to save my clan… but it was beyond saving. Instead– I would leave my clan, and go on to build something new.”
He closes his eyes, and then intones, solemnly:
“A cat of tender years will go / Beyond the place that trees can grow / To find a land that’s hard and cold / And gather up brave cats, and bold / To those that linger in the dark / The Stars will grant their brightest spark / And life will spring, for worthy ones / Untainted by the clans of sun.”
There is a silence, in the wake of this strange poem. Cats glance at one another.
Forced to sit still too long, Pinekit fidgests, and Murekit wants to clobber him. Don’t you know how important it is that Coniferstar thinks well of you? You of all cats?
Their leader opens his eyes. They glow white-silver, in the moonlight, something nearly unnatural.
Murekit finds that he believes it, after all. About Starclan, and the rest. That something…. else really has touched their leader.
“And what do you think that means– Harebolt?”
Murekit turns, surprised. Coniferstar doesn’t spare much attention for Harebolt, usually– not since Wormturn really started learning her herbs.
Harebolt looks as surprised as Murekit is; her ears lie back, briefly, then relax. “It’s about you, obviously.” Her tail twitches; is she irritated? “And it’s telling you to come find us.”
Coniferstar nods, one ear flicking in amusement. “Quite right. Starclan guided me to all of you. To new cats, who can build a new clan– if we are willing to endure this harsh tundra. Do you understand?”
He’s still looking at Harebolt; but there’s no warmth at all, in his eyes. Murekit’s pelt prickles– glad, for once, that the leader isn’t paying attention to him instead.
Harebolt nods. “To those that linger in the dark. I get it.” Her tone is flat, echoing the prophetic words.
Snowstreak’s voice, when she cuts in, is not. “That’s why this time is special.” She looks up at Coniferstar, eyes glowing. “Right? Because– um.”
Coniferstar blinks, warmly, as Snowstreak falters. “Right you are. Because this time- this harsh time- is so little like the clans of the south. If we endure this– we prove we are more worthy cats, than they were. You have heard me say, from every frost, a thaw. This is what I mean. If we endure this hardship long enough– I believe that Starclan will grant us a great bounty. We must only prove we are capable of receiving it, without running astray.”
He glances up at the dark sky. “And that begins with these young cats.” When he turns down again, his manner is warm, familiar. “You have all waited very patiently. Now–”
He studies the kits, for a moment. Murekit’s skin burns, beneath his pelt. He resists the urge to squirm, and fidget, like Pinekit had been doing– though even Murekit’s troublesome brother is still, under their leader’s eye.
“Pinekit,” Coniferstar says. Murekit’s throat is dry. “And Saltkit. You have both reached the age of six moons. Clan law dictates it is time for you to take on the duties of an apprentice. From this day, until you have earned your warrior names, you will be known as Pinepaw, and Saltpaw. Your paws now walk the path of Sedgeclan cats, in full. I trust you will place them carefully.”
The two young cats step forward. Saltkit- no, Saltpaw- is shivering with nerves, and big Pinepaw presses his side to hers, offering wordless support. Murekit’s heart squeezes with affection for his brother. He could be an idiot– but no one would ever accuse him of being a bad brother.
Coniferstar blinks warmly at them– and then looks to the grown cats, behind them. “Snowstreak. You are ready to take on an apprentice. You have endured great hardship, and shown yourself to be a loyal and courageous cat. I believe you understand what it truly means, to be a warrior of Sedgeclan. You will be mentor to Pinepaw and Saltpaw– I expect you to pass on your wisdom.”
Snowstreak steps forward, too, her white-and-ginger fur fluffed up with pleasure. “I will!”
“Then touch noses with your apprentices, and let us all greet them by their new names.”
Snowstreak bends to touch her nose first to Pinepaw’s, and then- with a murmured word that Murekit doesn’t quite make out- to Saltpaw’s, too.
“Saltpaw!” Coniferstar calls. “Pinepaw!”
The clan, after an awkward few repetitions, joins in, and a ragged cheer goes up. Coniferstar’s tail twitches- just the once- as they struggle to arrange themselves into a proper chant. Murekit wonders if he’s remembering his old clan– the ceremonies must have been a lot smoother, with cats who knew their roles by heart.
Even though it’s kind of embarrassing, Murekit keeps chanting until everyone else has stopped, so his fading “Saltpaw! Pine…paw…” is the last to echo in the camp. Coniferstar– is that a look of approval, on the dark tabby’s face? It’s hard to tell, quite, in the dark.
Whatever it is, it vanishes as he begins to speak again. “Now. Murekit. Timberkit. I haven’t forgotten about you. It is time for you, as well, to be made apprentices. From this day forth, until you have earned your warrior names, you will be known as Murepaw, and Timberpaw. And I myself will mentor you.”
Murepaw- the name sends a thrill through him- finds his head spinning as Coniferstar springs from the splitstone to touch noses with him. He can pick out his clanmates’ voices as they chant his name.
“Murepaw! Timberpaw! Murepaw! Timberpaw!”
Their voices are a little less hesitant, this time.
In the middle of the racket, Murepaw meets Coniferstar’s eyes. “I’ll do my best,” he says, solemnly. “I’ll be a true warrior of Sedgeclan.”
Coniferstar purrs. “I know you will.”
He has to. If he doesn’t make a good impression– who else will convince Coniferstar that Pinepaw’s worth keeping around?
They part, after that, and Wormturn rushes over to congratulate her kits, and thank Coniferstar and Snowstreak for taking them on. The litter reunites, bumping their heads together and chattering excitedly–
Only Harebolt lingers, on the outskirts. Watching them– alone.

Dark Skies
a warrior cats and danny phantom crossover

DannyMay Prompt Cats (and Lore Drops)
Book One: DUSK
Duskpaw, an AmityClan apprentice, introduces us to some notable Clan members, as well as the Clan camp, which is centered around an odd stone structure the audience can determine was once an ornate decorative fountain.
Duskpaw overhears Darkshade, a warrior that is close with his parents, tell the Clan’s deputy Coldridge about a potential Rogue den in a nearby building. Coldridge dismisses Darkshade’s concern, saying that he must be mistaken as Rogues wouldn’t den within Clan territory. Darkshade insists that there is a threat, and Coldridge should listen to him, but Coldridge refuses. Duskpaw wants to do his part to keep the Clan safe, so he sneaks off to investigate the Rogue den. Inside, he hears something strange upstairs and goes to investigate. However, much of the floor is rotted, and he falls through, landing on a large pile of metal, becoming injured and scratched. He is unable to leave, and falls unconscious.
Duskpaw slips in and out of consciousness, eventually being found by a frantic Sparktail, and then being cared for by Frostbite and Whiteflower. At one point, he encounters a glowing, transparent molly who promises him that everything will be okay. He later sees a terrifying Rogue who leaps to attack him, but he wakes before it touches him. He wakes fully, and sees Bumblebelly asleep next to him in the Healer’s Den. He falls asleep again, much more stable this time.
He heals slowly but surely, and rejoins his apprentice group. His mentor, Redpelt, does everything he can to support his younger sibling.
While Duskpaw, Timberpaw, and Sparrowpaw are on their own practicing hunting in the territory, Duskpaw begins to feel strange. He soon transforms into a glowing Rogue, startling Timberpaw and Sparrowpaw. Panicking, he runs back to camp, where he is attacked by the Clan’s warriors. He manages to escape back to the forest, and returns to his usual form, tired and battered. The group lies about how he was injured.
Duskpaw begins learning to transform on purpose, and gain control over his new form. Sparrowpaw and Timberpaw work together to aid him.
Rogues begin crossing the border again. The warriors of the Clan worry that they will lose more territory. Duskpaw learns that shortly after he was born, AmityClan lost a good hunting ground to the Rogues.
At one point, Duskpaw worries that Darkshade may have seen him transform. Be soon believes he is mistaken, as Darkshade gives no indication of knowing.
A group of Rogues attack the camp. Duskpaw sneaks away to transform, in hopes that it will help the Clan win the fight. As he is sneaking back into camp as a Rogue, he sees Darkshade corner Coldridge in a secluded area of camp, and kill him. Duskpaw is horrified by what he’s seen, but before he can confront Darkshade, he hears someone yell that the Rogues have gotten into the nursery. He races into the fight, saving Dawnkit from a Rogue. Working together, the Clan is able to drive away the Rogues.
Amberflame, Shadekit, Flameburst, and a handful of others are killed in the attack. Darkshade is gravely injured, but Frostbite is able to save him. Duskpaw wants to tell the Clan of Darkshade’s betrayal, but Skystar appointed him deputy for his bravery in the fight, so Duskpaw feels as though he must have not seen what he thought he saw. Skystar makes the three oldest apprentices warriors: Brightwhisker, Lionstrike, and Sweetsnap.
Book Two: NIGHT
Following the Rogue attack, the Clan begins searching for a new camp.
Duskpaw begins making nightly patrols in his Rogue form. Timberpaw and Sparrowpaw cover for him when his absence or tiredness is noticed.
Dawnpaw is apprenticed to Sparktail.
Whiteflower becomes suspicious of Duskpaw’s injuries, and he tells her about his Rogue form and nightly patrols.
The Clan decides on moving their camp to The Valley. They begin preparing it, building dens and starting to move items over. Duskpaw and the other apprentices are kept very busy with the preparations.
Duskpaw, while working with Dawnpaw, learns that Darkshade brought Shadekit outside of camp the morning of the Rogue attack. Dawnpaw says that Shadekit hadn’t been feeling well, and was taken on a walk to help improve his health. Duskpaw reflects that he didn’t remember seeing Shadekit and Darkshade leaving, and doesn’t think Whiteflower would have let a sick patient leave camp. He also wonders why Darkshade would have put his son in danger like that, as Rogues are attracted to the young, old, and weak. Dawnpaw confesses that she followed them, and they walked almost all the way to the border before returning to camp.
Duskpaw tries to push away his suspicions about Darkshade, especially now that he knows the Rogues likely followed Shadekit’s scent back to AmityClan’s camp. The Clan continues preparing for the move.
Skystar names the four oldest apprentices warriors during a day of preparation at the new camp, claiming it is a test of where he wants to make Clan announcements. They are named Timberstep, Badgerclaw, Eaglethorn, and Hawkshadow.
Rogues are seen more often on the border. Duskpaw begins to become exhausted from chasing them away each night.
The final stage of the move is when the elders, caretakers, and kits will be moved. Darkshade, as deputy, is put in charge of the patrol, and Skystar is waiting at the new camp for the patrol to arrive. As they are traveling, the patrol is attacked by Rogues. Darkshade struggles to coordinate the warriors, both unable to come up with a plan and unable to communicate it well. After an elder is dragged off by Rogues, Sparktail takes charge and gets the rest of the Clan to the new camp safely.
Once they arrive, for their part in the fight, the final three older apprentices become warriors: Sparrowheart, Larkcall, and Dusksight.
Dawnpaw is badly injured in the attack, and is close to death.
Book Three: DAWN
Dusksight has a dream that he is facing the rising sun, which becomes a bright flower. He tells Whiteflower about the dream, who then has him tell Frostbite. Frostbite confirms that it is a vision, and that it is likely the herb that will save Dawnpaw’s life.
Frostbite tells Skystar he would like to go retrieve the herb. Skystar is hesitant to send away the senior medicine cat with a warrior escort when the Clan is facing increased Rogue activity. Darkshade urges Skystar to do so, worried for his remaining kit.
Skystar sends Frostbite, Eaglethorn, and Dusksight to travel and retrieve the herb. Frostbite warns the younger warriors that the world beyond AmityClan boundaries is overrun by Rogues.
They learn that this is not true. Something about AmityClan or its territory draws the Rogues in; it takes a few days to leave Rogue territory, but they eventually leave and meet cats who inform them that the Rogues are unique to that location, and they assumed that nobody was able to survive there.
The group travels a few days more, and meets a colony of cats who recognize the flower from Dusksight’s description. However, the flower is spiritually important to the group, so they are reluctant to give it away to the Clan cats. The group proposes a trade: the Clan cats help the group to defeat a cougar that has moved into the area, and the group will give them the flower in return, as well as a pawful of seeds so that the Clan can grow more.
The Clan cats agree. Eaglethorn excels at teaching, and both warriors enjoy spending time with the colony. They learn more about the colony’s beliefs: they place great importance on cycles within nature, especially the cycles of life and death. The Colony uses plants to help break down the bodies of cats who have passed away. This particular flower is used because they believe it helps release the cat’s spirit back into the world, allowing the cycle of life to continue.
Dusksight isn’t sure how this will help Dawnpaw, but trusts Frostbite when he says it will save her.
Finally, its time: the cougar is lured to an ambush, and led by Eaglethorn, the colony manages to drive it away. They give Frostbite the flower and seeds, and the Clan cats leave the colony behind. All three are somewhat reluctant to leave the peaceful group, but know that Dawnpaw is depending on them.
Their return home goes quickly. When they are close to the Clan, but still in Rogue territory, they are attacked by a group of Rogues. Dusksight slips away to transform, and is able to help win the fight. However, Frostbite is killed in the scuffle. Eaglethorn believes that Dusksight left her to be overrun.
The two warriors carry Frostbite’s body back to camp. When they return, they learn that while they were gone, Skystar died, and Darkstar has risen to power. He has yet to name a deputy, but interrupts Frostbite’s vigil to give Eaglethorn an apprentice (Flickerkit) and names her deputy. The Clan is apprehensive about such a young cat becoming deputy so quickly, but nobody argues with her appointment.
Whiteflower is able to stabilize Dawnpaw with the flower, and carefully plants the seeds near camp. She tells Dusksight that she suspects that Skystar’s death was likely a murder: Darkstar had said that he and Skystar went on a patrol and were attacked by Rogues, and that Skystar died saving him, but Skystar’s body didn’t indicate that there was a fight, just an attack. Dusksight realizes that he was right to be suspicious of Darkstar all along.
When they return to the medicine cat den, they see Dawnpaw briefly transform into a Rogue, similar to Dusksight.
Book Four: SHADE
Once Dawnpaw is cleared to return to her training, Dusksight begins teaching her to control her Rogue form. She joins him on his nightly patrols.
Eaglethorn does her best as deputy. Sparktail often steps in to help, as Darkstar does little to nothing to help run the Clan.
Eventually, Graysight confronts Darkstar about doing nothing. The leader insists that he is helping, and that they’ll need him to be ready to fight and defend the Clan from Rogues. Sparktail smooths everything over.
Dusksight and Dawnpaw realize that there are more and more Rogues near the border. They do their best to let others know so that the Clan is prepared, without revealing their nightly patrols.
A handful of Rogues attack camp; Darkstar leaps to the front of the group of defending warriors. Before a single blow is exchanged, he loudly orders the Rogues to leave AmityClan’s territory. The Rogues hesitate, and he repeats himself. To the disbelief of the gathered cats, the Rogues turn tail and run. The Clan immediately changes tune, and begins treating Darkstar with awe and respect.
Dusksight begins recognizing the same handful of Rogues that are always on the border. In his Rogue form, he follows them off of AmityClan territory. He sees a pair of Rogues together, one large and imposing and one very small, and can’t shake the idea that he recognizes them from somewhere.
Darkstar begins joining border patrols, and scaring off Rogues that are hanging near the border. Eaglethorn still struggles to fulfill her duties, as Darkstar continues not to help with leadership.
Darkstar makes Dawnpaw a warrior over a moon early, naming her Dawnstone. She grows close with Eaglethorn, as Darkstar now treats them both very preferentially.
Dusksight is sneaking around Rogue territory when he is confronted by a large gray Rogue. He is intimidated, and doesn’t immediately attack; the two stare at each other, and finally the Rogue struggles to say “Duskpaw”. Dusksight then realizes he is looking at the spirit of Skystar.
Book Five: LIGHT
Dusksight shares his discovery with his friends Timberstep and Sparrowheart, as well as with Whiteflower and Dawnstone. He begins recognizing other lost and dead Clanmates, including his brother Darkflame, and Dawnstone’s brother Shadekit.
Whiteflower attempts to speak to StarClan about this, but is unable to learn anything. She confides in her brother that StarClan often communicates by dreams and signs, and she has never spoken directly with a StarClan warrior. She swears him to secrecy, as that knowledge is supposed to be only for medicine cats and leaders.
Darkstar continues to scare away Rogues. However, while Dusksight is on a border patrol with Darkstar, Lionstrike, Sweetsnap, and Quillstep, they encounter a massive Rogue that isn’t intimidated by the leader. Dusksight, who had been left behind to leave a border marker, transforms and chases the Rogue away. The patrol recognizes him as a Rogue who has been helpful in the past; they thank him and leave. Once they are gone, he returns to his normal form, pleased that his Clanmates seem to be coming around to his Rogue form.
Darkstar begins growing temperamental and paranoid. He often punishes cats harshly for “disrespecting” him, and the Clan becomes somewhat divided over his leadership. Sparktail and Eaglethorn attempt to keep the Clan running smoothly.
Dusksight and company begin trying to figure out how to oust Darkstar. Dusksight keeps seeing Rogue Skystar near the territory, and tries to communicate with him.
Dusksight catches Darkstar plotting with some Rogues, and realizes the intimidations were all staged.
One morning, Rogue Skystar appears near camp, and Dusksight tries to get him to leave. However, he realizes that the Rogue is focused on the flowers that had cured Dawnpaw. Skystar is attacked by a nearby patrol and chased off.
Dusksight picks a flower and brings it to the edge of AmityClan territory. He calls for Skystar, and the former leader soon arrives. The Rogue eats the flower, and is able to speak more easily. He tells Dusksight that all Rogues were restless spirits unable to reach StarClan. Dusksight asks how he can help, but the flower’s effects seem to wane, and Skystar is unable to answer. Dusksight sees his brother again, and resolves to find a way to cure the Rogues.
After discussing it with Whiteflower, Dusksight comes up with a plan. Whiteflower will order the Clan not to attack, and Timberstep, Sparrowheart, and Dawnstone will ensure the Clan listens to her. Dusksight leads Skystar’s spirit to the center of camp. Darkstar tries to attack the Rogue, but Dawnstone is able to convince Eaglethorn to help her keep the leader subdued. Dusksight gives Skystar’s Rogue another of the flowers, and asks the Rogue to tell the Clan what happened to him. Skystar reveals Darkstar’s treachery.
The Clan turns on their leader, who transforms into a Rogue, and attacks Dusksight. Dusksight transforms as well, and fights back; he is able to turn the tide of the fight, but accidentally kills the leader. Darkstar’s Rogue form rises from his body, and leaves the camp.
Skystar’s spirit changes to reflect how he looked in life; he thanks Dusksight for bringing him peace, and warns the Clan that Darkstar has been plotting for months, and will not let the Clan oust him peacefully. He then ascends to StarClan.
Book Six: AMITY
Eaglestar takes control of AmityClan, and appoints Sparktail her deputy. Dusksight and Dawnstone explain their abilities to the Clan. While some of their Clanmates are fearful, a majority treat them the same. Eaglestar confides in Dusksight and Whiteflower that she received all nine lives from StarClan, something that hasn’t happened in generations.
Rogues begin trespassing on AmityClan’s territory. Darkstar is seen prowling the border as well. However, some Rogues begin showing up near camp, peacefully sitting and waiting nearby. Dusksight goes to speak with the peaceful Rogues, and brings them one of the white flowers so that he can speak with them.
Shadekit and Amberflame are two such Rogues; Amberflame says he wishes to remain nearby and help in the coming battle. Dawnstone speaks with Shadekit, and is able to bring him peace. He returns to how he looked in life, and ascends to StarClan.
The Clan prepares for battle. More Rogues come to aid them. Amberflame is eventually able to communicate without the aid of the flowers.
Darkstar and his army attack. The battle is intense, and the Clan must deal with waves of Rogues arriving to replace the ones they’ve already defeated. Darkstar eventually appears and attacks Dusksight. The Rogue nearly wins, but Amberflame comes to his brother’s aid, giving Dusksight the opportunity to kill Darkstar and end the battle.
Amberflame and a handful of other Rogues ascend to StarClan, finding peace in being able to defend their Clan.
Eaglestar names Dusksight the Clan’s Ambassador, and Dawnstone his apprentice, putting them in charge of helping to bring the Rogues peace, and help to repair the boundary between the worlds of the living and dead.

I love that you used forgotten characters to build out the clans in Flesh and Bone! You pointed out Lavenderhaze and Thistleheart. Are there any more?
There's only one more!
Lavenderhaze and Thistleheart get the most screen time, but there's also Blossomtail (Blossomkit in one of the field guides; she replaces Nightwing here as the mother of Smokepaw and Talonpaw because I kept confusing her with Nightcloud). But I add more cats as I need them, so by the end of the fic there might be one or two more!
There is actually a cat who gets erased though, lol. Stonepaw/Stonestream. I reference Stonefur too often for there to be another Stone- in RiverClan, and while he was likely named after Stonefur, Stormfur has enough emotional baggage on his plate without getting into that. So, he's renamed Timberpaw here!

Some cats of mine from Clan and Kingdom! (The ones using the base are by @fern-bee !)
In order:
Tempest, a returning member of the Coven
Pepperpatch, currently the oldest living cat. Member of Lostclan.
Brambleburst, a war-enthusiastic queen of Crimsonclan whose kits were meant to help continue the war. Unfortunately for her, the war ended shortly after she announced her pregnancy.
Teenie (not here yet! Gotta wait for march!) is a LaPerm kitten who was abandoned in the woods and found their way here. Timberpaw is a temporary clan name.
Princess Talonsting, the second oldest of the Heir to the Wild Kingom throne's litter, and Spoiled Brat numero uno.
Flamethorn (waiting for all my backlog to clear before she joins officially), a member of the dark forest who was killed in the event that sparked the war. Formerly Crimsonclan.
Stormlight, current deputy of Cobaltclan. He is the guy ever. So sweet and happy, I had to take him out of other upcoming rps because i couldnt stand the idea of him having as much trauma as is typical for him.
Steppepaw, a young cat in Crimsonclan whose mother disappeared alongside the rest of what is now Lostclan.
Solacekit, a lil guy who was abandoned by his mother to live with the-then traveling Lostclan cats.

Moon 109-Newleaf
The Clan is shocked by Judaschaser’s death. She was so powerful. Who could have killed her? Only two cats know, and neither of them are saying anything. Yuccastar (88) doesn’t understand why her Clanmates miss Judaschaser so much. Couldn’t they see that she was horrible? Oh well, at least nobody seems to have realized it was her that killed Judaschaser. Little does she know that Yellowcreek (36) has now seen her commit two murders. But no one trusts him. He’s even heard rumors around camp that he was the one who killed Judaschaser. He wants to scream at them that he didn’t do it! But he knows it wouldn’t do any good. The Clan hates him for something he can’t control, and they will never see past that. A stream of dark smoke comes out of his nose in frustration. Despite feeling like no one in the Clan likes him, a lot of the younger cats actually really look up to Yellowcreek. They find him more down to earth than the other powerful cats in the Clan and think he’s easy to talk to. Needlepaw (12) even tells him to count on her if he needs someone. The Clan has some distractions of the death of their clanmate. Frostpaw (12) has been given the warrior name of Frostheart, honoring her tranquility. Gentle’s (96) kits have also been made apprentices. Midgepaw (6) has been given to Moorleg (21), as the young warrior is ready for her first apprentice. Timberpaw (6) has been given to Chasingskip (21), as their personalities are similar so she should be able to understand him. And Pythonpaw (6) has been apprenticed to Peakspots (78), as the deputy has had very few apprentices due to the lack of other fire-blessed cats in the Clan. He is enjoying having an apprentice and is discussing training methods with Chasingskip.

Season: Leaf-bare
Overarching Events:
PikaClan doesn't have enough medicine cats Mass extinction is toggled on
Births
Frogcry and Cobaltnose found a litter of 4 kits and decided to adopt them
Wolfkit (male), Patchkit (male), Mosskit (male), and Starlingkit (female) are born!
Deaths
Timberpaw died of yellowcough
Fadedflake and Molepaw grieve but are not stricken
Misc
Hazyseed wasn't looking where they were going and tripped over a small trunk, but came out of it with only their pride bruised
Health
The LionClan medicine cat asks for herbs once again but we refuse Tremblemask recovered from whitecough Pikepounce recovered from yellowcough Fadedflake recovered from greencough Caribouthunder's nose is no longer running Tricklesnow's nose is no longer running Beampaw recovered from whitecough Bluebellpaw's soreness is gone
Patrols
Flitchest comes up with a plan to sneak out of camp with Barleypaw (medium positive effect) As the medicine cats' patrol pads into PikaClan territory, Barleypaw tells Flitchest about the dream they had last night, and what the StarClan vision could mean (proceed) Flitchest shakes their head sadly. They can't make sense of the vision
Beampaw comes up with a plan to sneak out of camp with Avalanchebeetle (medium positive effect) Touring through the territory, Avalanchebeetle spots a thrush and begins to quiz Beampaw on the best strategy to catch it (proceed) Beampaw tests the wind. They correctly identify that because of the wind they'd need to approach the thursh from the side. Avalanchebeetle purrs, complimenting them on how much they've learned
The patrol comes across a SplinterClan apprentice, waiting quietly at the border. When the apprentice notices the patrol, they press themself to the ground, begging to join PikaClan (proceed) Pikepounce is eager to steal a SplinterClan apprentice right from under their noses. They stick close to the apprentice on their way back to camp. At first, the Clan is unsure, but Pikepounce vouches for Scorchpaw, and they are allowed to join.
Scorchpaw (male) joins the Clan, is intact, and is given Hazyseed as a mentor
Your patrol cautiously moves towards the sound of barking. Near the border, they spot a dog chasing something. Oh no, it's a cat! (proceed) The patrol swiftly jumps into action. They capture the dog's attention and draw it away from the cat. Shrewdusk stays hidden and goes to the cat while the rest of the patrol lures the dog away. They're unharmed and the display of bravery makes them want to join!
Cougar (male) joins the Clan and is intact

Patchpaw cheered as Timberpaw and Stoatpaw were hailed as apprentices. Perchstar called Heartwhisker forward and assigned Stoatpaw to her. Meanwhile, Timberpaw was assigned to Tawnyraven, a warrior that Patchpaw rarely saw as it seemed like she was always out of camp. Patchpaw could only hope that Timberpaw didn't take on this trait.

nightwatcher my beloved..
this ref fails to mention that nightwatcher has children - wasppaw and spiderpaw. (waspheart and spiderstrike respectively.) their other father is timberfall, who will eventually get a ref himself. they're extremely divorce-core.
a respectful and respectable young tom who goes way off the deep end as a leader - goes through their nine lives faster than you can believe. nightstar gets way too involved in eldritch phenomenon and has almost everyone outside of his clan out for his blood.
very astute and aware despite being blind. can hear, smell, and feel you coming before you know he's there. ironically used to have a staring problem when he was younger.
wolfjaw was very strict and harsh on him as an apprentice, and he took it too far to heart. went from being curious and excitable to serious and blunt. trained alongside timberpaw and personally made sure Tatteredstorm was cast out after Heavythorn's murder. killed wolfjaw after oakstar's passing to make sure he wasn't able to become leader.
