The Youngest Toretto || GN!Reader (Longer Version)

•Summary• You are the youngest Toretto sibling. ⚠️Warning’s⚠️ Blood, Major Character death, slight swearing, slight violence, gun, gun wound, Angst might make you cry might not. •A/N• Please let me know if any mistakes. I did try to make this gender neutral but let me know if J should change anything. This is not proof read.

*** You were sitting in the cafe finishing off some last minute homework while Mia was behind the counter making sure that you finished it correctly. You then heard a car pull up outside and turned your head to see Brian walking over. “Mia look who’s here” you teased Mia just stared at you clearly annoyed at you “just do your homework” she huffed before smiling at Brian as he entered the cafe and sat down next to you.

“Homework, huh?” He said looking at your book “mind your own business tuna breath.” You replied not even looking up from your book. A couple minutes later of trying to do maths while having to listen to Brian and Mia talk to each other you heard a familiar sound before turning around and seeing all of Doms friends enter the cafe “hey YN mind if I sit there?” Vince asked while leaning against the counter.

“ But I’m here,” you responded “Just move!” Vince said clearly running out of patience so you packed up your stuff before moving to the other side of the counter “asshole” you whispered under your breath making sure you where just loud enough so that Vince could hear you he looked at you surprised at the response before sitting down next to Brian and starting a conversation about something.

You had only zoned out for a couple of minutes before looking over and seeing Vince and Brian throwing punches at each other.

The fight had gotten the attention of your older brother Dom who hadn’t gone out to stop it yet “DOM! As much as I enjoy seeing tuna breath over there being beat up I don’t really feel like having to deal with a dead body today!” You exhaled looking him dead in the eye for a second before he finally walked out to break up the fight you following him with a glass of water in your hand.

After Dom broke up the fight you threw the glass of water on Vince’s head “what you need to cool off” you chuckled “fuck you YN” Vince said back “HEY. TAKE A WALK VINCE” Dom shouted in his face “and YN get inside” “but-“ “GET INSIDE” Dom shouted losing his patience. You rolled your eyes before giving him the finger and walking off Mia right behind you.

“YN you can’t just do stuff like that.” She scolded. “Come on you have to admit it was funny.” You laughed but stopped when you noticed Mia wasn’t laughing.

“Don’t you have homework” she said stepping back behind the bar. “Already done.” You quickly placed your books into your backpack.

“I’m bored I’m going home” you said slinging your bag over your shoulders. “What, by yourself? But it’s starting to get dark.” She said worry in her tone.

“I’ll be fine I have my bike.” You said confidently and if you were being honest you didn’t think anyone was stupid enough to go after the little sibling of Dominic Toretto.

“You know Dom doesn’t like you riding home alone after 5pm. He’ll kill me if he finds out I let you and then kill you for for being stupid enough to go by yourself.” She said thinking that would be enough to keep you there.

“Well been nice knowing you see you on the other side.” You joked walking out the back door hearing Mia call your name as you secured your helmet before riding off.

It had gotten really dark by the time you were almost home. Normally you would already be home by now but with construction on your normal route you had to take a back alleyway. You knew Dom would already be angry so you decided it best if you kept that part to your self.

As you were pushing your bike up the driveway when you heard a gun fire. You rushed to get inside as you saw the car drive by with someone hanging out the passenger door with a gun but you suddenly you felt a a sharp hot pain in your lower stomach.

You fell to your knees the pain being to much. You heard the car drive off with whoever fired the gun laughing. Was this how you were going to die. You placed your hand over the bullet hole feeling the hot liquid cover your hand looking down you saw your top had turned red.

You where losing blood fast and you knew that you would die, die with out seeing your siblings again, die without graduating, die and miss out on so much but you would be able to see your parents again and knowing that brought you a slight sense of comfort.

“YN! YN!” You heard your name the voice sounded familiar but it was muffled and you thought it was miles away. You saw a bright light of a car but it looked like there were multiple. Then it all went dark you heard nothing and you knew that you had taken your last breath the pain finally going away.

•The others POV•

“Wait so let me get this straight you thought it was a good idea to allow YN to go home alone when it’s almost dark.” Mia had just finished explaining to Dom where you were after he had come back inside with the others and noticed your absence.

“I tried to stop her but she wouldn’t listen and just walked out.” Mia tried her best to defend herself but knew that if anything happened to you she was responsible.

“Ok everyone get in your cars we’re going to my house.” Dom announced to the gang. “Hopefully they’re there.” He whispered that part under his breath not want to stress his sister out more then she already was. He knew that you were probably already there but this was a dangerous town they lived in and Dom had made a lot of enemies, enemies who he knew would do anything to get revenge even bring a innocent teenager into it if it meant it got to him.

As they were driving down the street he and his family lived on he heard two gunshots ring through the air moments apart from each other. He sped up hoping to find you inside the house safe and sound.

Once they pulled up to the house Dom was horrified to see his little sibling on the ground bleeding out.

“YN! YN!” He called out as he approached your body the others only a few steps behind. Mia pushed him aside and knelt down next to you. Your eyes were blank and you were in a pool of your own blood.

Tears started to escape her eyes. “Hey.. hey YN look we’re all here the whole gang is here for you… you’re gonna be alright, yeah.. please say something. YN? Please” Her voice broke this was her fault if she tried harder then you would Still be here.

“YN please I’m sorry I’m so so sorry… YN come on say something” She cradled your head in her lap pushing pieces of her away from your face.

“Mia they’re gone.” Vince said as he tried to pull you away. “NO! NO! They’re not gone… they can’t be.” She cried into Vince’s arms as Dom was comforted by Letty. He wasn’t one to cry but he had just lost his little sibling someone who had practically raised.

Vance picked Mia up pulling her away from your body that was now cold. She continued to cry as Letty led her and Dom inside while Vince, Leon and Jesse handled your body.

•Brian’s POV•

Brian went into the house where they were operating everything the next day no idea about the devastating news he was about to hear about the Teretto family.

“O’Conner my office now.” Sargent Tanner ordered. “What’s going on�� Brian asked sensing the seriousness about the situation.

“Do you know anything about a shooting at the Toretto house.” Brian was shocked he knew Dominic had enemies but didn’t think they would try and kill somebody.

“No.. what happened?” Now he was scared what if Mia had gotten injured yes he only knew her for a short amount of time but he was really starting to have feelings for her.

“You know the youngest one.. what was their name again.. uhh-“

“YN” Brian was pretty sure he knew where this was going and he prayed that he was wrong.

“Yeah YN they were shot didn’t make it died within a few minutes.” Sargent Tanner said not a shred of empathy going right back to his cigarette.

“Oh… umm… wow they were so young hadn’t even finished high school yet.” Even though Brian barely knew you, you were still a kid who had done nothing wrong and had actually been getting good grades.

“Yeah sure sure.. oh well that’s one less problem we have to deal with, probably had no future anyway. The killer probably did the world a favor.” The Sargent said not even looking up from the file in his hands.

“What the hell man! Look I know that we’re trying to bust Dominic but YN had nothing to do with what he’s doing ok. They were a good kid and didn’t deserve to die so young.” Sargent Tanner was shoulder by Brian’s outburst.

“Yeah… umm yeah sorry” Sargent Tanner apologized before dismissing Brian.

•Mia’s POV•

Mia was heart broken she had just lost her little sibling and all she could think of how she won’t get to see you grow up how she won’t be able to hear you laugh or see your eyes light up when you talk about something that you love ever again and all because she couldn’t stop you. Now instead of helping you with homework or watching bad romcoms with you she was sitting before your grave your favorite stuffed animal in front of it with a bouquet of white roses. You where gone you where really gone.

#33. “Don’t do that… let me see you”

You heard a loud thud against your front door and then you heard the door bell ring.

You immediately sat up from your bed, quickly putting on your robe and grabbing your gun. You cautiously walked down the stairs of your home, then to the front door. You looked through the peep hole but didn’t see anyone. So you slowly opened the door.

There leaning against the door frame, barely propping herself up and covered in blood, was Cipher. Your breath got stuck in your throat and you immediately put your gun down to help the woman.

“I—I’m sorry, I didn’t know where else to go…” Cipher grunted, some blood dribbling from her mouth as she spoke.

You nodded and quickly reached for the woman. Cipher’s body instinctively jolted and almost jumped back at your touch, but her mind calmed her body enough to remember that you were safe.

“I won’t hurt you, love. Please…” you gently pleaded.

Cipher let you take her into your arms, carrying her to the living room and onto one of your couches. She let out small groans and whimpers of pain as you two moved in tandem.

Cipher winced as she sat. Once she was sitting down, you got up to go grab some supplies. She looked around at your festive decorations around the place.

“Nice decorations…” she mumbled.

“Thanks. One sec, let me get some things…” you muttered, before leaving the room.

You came back with your first aid kit and you sat down in between Ciphers legs to tend to her. As you began to inspect the woman’s many injuries, she pulled away, not letting you see her many many deep cuts and jabs.

“Don’t do that… let me see you, love” you softly chided.

Cipher blushed lightly and nodded, letting you properly tend to her wounds.

“I’m sorry…” she mumbled before losing consciousness.

You started to panic now. She was losing blood fast, and now she was out like a light. You worked quickly to repair and stitch all her open wounds. After a while, and with a lot of bloody gauze around you, you wiped your forehead after having finished.

Cipher still lay there unconscious, and she would stay that way for a couple more hours. And your work wasn’t full proof, it was only a temporary solution.

When the blond did finally wake up, she was pretty intent on leaving, mumbling something about Toretto and his family.

You grabbed Cipher as she moved to the door, and she winced in pain.

“You can’t leave, you’re in no shape…”

Cipher turned to look at you. Her eyes were glossy and filled with a mixture of sadness and rage.

“I have too.”

“Why…?” You asked softly and vulnerably.

“I’m… I’m afraid I might hurt you… that they might break me by finding you…” she breathed out.

That was one of the most vulnerable things she’d ever said to you. In response, you kissed your wife lightly on the lips.

“Please be safe.”

“You know me, Baby… Always for you.” Cipher hummed, kissing you back with more depth and fervor.

She then pulled away and went to leave out the door, but not before saying one more thing,

“I love you, Baby.” She hummed.

“Hmmm, love you too” you hummed back.

LAVENDER NAIL POLISH: Dante Reyes x fem!reader

Summary: Sitting at the table with Dante as he paints her nails, makes her wonder why he's doing that in the first place.

Notes: English isn't my first language. I apologize for any mistake I may have made while I wrote this short story.

For my friend who watched these movies with me during a movie night - I love you girl <3

She knew for a fact that there were many things in this world she should've considered as unnerving - like racing itself with all the possible consequences. Yet the scariest thing on Earth for her in that very moment was one of the most common things possible: nail polish.

She pulled off many dangerous stunts, she almost got caught by the police more times than she could count; yet that little tube full of colorful liquid was far more frightening than that.

She didn't choose the color, he did. He was the one holding her hand in place as he painted her nails to a light shade of purple too. Perhaps in another situation she would've found it a nice color and a nice gesture - but she found it scary instead.

He never touched her or made her do stuff before. She was never even tied up or anything. It was new - completely new and that's why it scared her so much.

"Am I going somewhere?" she asked as she watched him work on her nails - she was quite jealous when she noticed that he did a better job than she usually did.

The question was meant as 'Am I going somewhere with you?'. She never saw where he went, she only stayed at the hotel rooms he rented for the occasion. But he talked about it - he liked to talk a lot. It was more like ranting - Dom Toretto this, Dom Toretto that, he did this so I did that. That's why she ended up with him in the first place, because Dom Toretto did that.

The first day she had to spend with Dante Reyes was the first day she realized that being a part of Dom's family isn't that much fun all the time.

"We are going to a race, darling." he let go of her hand with a girly movement after he blew on her freshly painted fingernails, and for a second she thought that he's mocking her. "Now give me your other hand."

She did as her eyes lit up at the word - race. She hadn't had the change to take part in one since forever - or watch one at the very least. A race, she'll finally go to a race.

"Where?" Dante actually chuckled at the excitement in her voice - and she never thought he could chuckle without being psychotic or sarcastic.

"We're going straight to Rio de Janeiro." he took a hold of her other hand as he answered and soon her nail on her pinky finger was purple as well. "After your nails are done."

Her excitement stopped for a moment - Rio de Janeiro. Her, Dante and Rio de Janeiro. That sounded like a not so good idea, especially because she had a feeling that Dom will be there too. That's why she'll be there. So Dante can show her off - so he can show that he has her, a part of Dom's family.

She tried to ignore that thought, she should talk about something else.

"Why purple?"

"Lavender." he corrected her with an 'are you this dumb' look on his face.

"So why lavender?" she asked as she purposefully changed her tone on the word lavender.

"Because I have to match my car..." he explained. "And you have to match me."

She tilted her head a bit - trying to hide the sudden pain in her heart at what she just heard. Only then did she notice that his nails were the same color as hers.

"Must be a nice car." she said instead of questioning it any further. "And a nice choice in color. It's pretty."

"Yes, that's what I'm talking about!" Dante spoke up with a shout as if she'd be the first one to think so. "You see, sometimes we have to let go of all that masculinity. And on the other hand, it'll look good on you too."

She didn't know if she should be flattered or not.

"You know." she began saying as Dante finished with the nail polish and let go of her hand completely. "In a different world we'd actually be pretty good friends."

"We'll be in this one too. Eventually." he put the nail polish aside and crossed his legs as they sat at the table together, looking at the other without saying a word.

Is he mocking her, she had to ask herself again.

If she didn't know about his vendetta against Dom, she'd maybe consider him less psychotic, but still kind of crazy. Maybe then he'd be more funny too. Dante sitting there with a bathrobe on, with his hair up in two small buns was actually funny and oddly enough, friendly. He still seemed strange, but he seemed less like a guy who murders people for fun.

"Continue on with the princess treatment and we might be." she joked. "Will we wear matching clothes too?"

"Of course we will!"

"Of course we will." she repeated. "Because you're a show off."

"I never said I wasn't."

"Dom will be there, won't he?" she asked with a slight head tilt. "That's why I'm going with you. So you can show me off."

"Clever girl..." Dante praised as he patted the top of her hand with his. "But you should go get ready, because this will be a race you won't want to miss." he then stood up and left her alone in the kitchen - but later on he shouted: "I'll go wash my hair until you get ready!"

And she laughed. Not chuckled quietly like she used to - but laughed.

Perhaps if Dante would be a bit less psychotic, she could let herself like him a lot more. Perheps she'd actually like him.

Then, perhaps, she'd actually have the bravery to admit to herself that she already does.

Description: You and Mia make a promise after Brian and Dom save her

You feel emotion and relief pour out of you seeing Mia with Dom and Brian after you got shot and had to be treated by Han and Giselle not being able to continue onwards with the boys to save her. After hugging the boys you practically leap and hold her in your arms despite having an injured leg, everyone leaves the two of you alone after being bickered at by han for standing so quickly on your leg before sitting back down with mia beside you "God I thought I lost you" she wiped the flowing tears down your face and whispering to each other before everyone comes back and all of you head back home after weeks and weeks of searching and the crazy journey of saving Mia, you all head to dom's house traveling of course by the many cars you had finally getting home after hours and hours of driving only taking quick bathroom breaks after long intervals. You all have a big feast enjoying the time spent of being back together as family noticing mia going inside with tears following her upstairs "Hey you okay?", she pulls you to her holding you in her arms saying sorry repeatedly "I am so sorry you got shot and that you had to think you would be planning a funeral" you stop her with a delicate kiss wiping her face like she did for you earlier "Baby it's okay you're here and I am okay that is all that matters" the two of you sway slowly while still holding each other before heading back to the home the two of you shared and slowly grew tired as time went on until as you said out you see mia with a bouquet of flowers and a ring "I have loved you so long since we met and i have known but earlier today when i finally saw you again i truly knew i couldn't live without you and i want to make that a promise will you marry me?" You say yes and after sharing a tender kiss smiling tearfully looking at the ring mia asks you to make a promise with her "No matter anything that happens from this point on will you always not only be by my side but...will you stand by me?" you seal the promise with a kiss wrapping yourselves around each other before holding her face in your hands "Of course I will".

Five years have passed since that day.

Five years since she lost one of her best friends. 

Five years since she last saw Dom, Leon, or Vince. 

Five years since she lost the love of her life. 

Life's been quiet since then. 

Mia graduated college and eventually got a job at the firm she's always wanted to work for. Monty moved in with them as well. It didn't bother Y/n one bit as he was the person who made Mia the happiest. And her happiness is the only thing keeping Y/n alive. 

Y/n decided to go back to school, finish up the degree she was majoring in. She eventually graduated and got a job. She was floating, but barley. 

But one morning, her life preserve sunk completely. 

Y/n was awoken by her phone ringing. She groaned for a moment, annoyed by the sudden wake-up call. She looked and saw it was Mia; her and Monty were in a different state for a work thing. She eventually sighed and answered the phone. 

"Hello?" Y/n said with a yawn. She was wide awake once she heard sniffling on the other side of the phone. "Mia? What's wrong?"

"She's gone, Y/n." She sniffled once again. "She's gone."

"Who's gone?" Mia didn't answer right away. "Who, Mia? Who's gone?"

"Letty." Y/n's heart dropped. Tears filled her eyes as she took a shaky breath in. 

"How?" she asked.

"She was murdered, Y/n." 

"Brothers and sisters," the priest said. "we have gathered here to pay our final respects." 

Brian O'Conner stood in the distance, watching the ceremony take place. He looked different. Older. His blonde hair was shorter while he was sporting a little scruff. He stood by the cars, looking at one person in particular. Y/n Toretto. 

After five years of longing for her, there she was in all her beauty. She looked as she did when he'd last saw her. Just as beautiful, just as golden as the days he'd visit her in the shop. 

One of the other agents slid up beside him and said, "Facial recognition software matched Toretto about ten minutes after he crossed the border." Brian watched as Y/n comforted her younger cousin. "I don't get it. I thought he'd show." 

And in that moment, her eyes finally met his.

Y/n couldn't believe it. There he was, in all his glory, standing next to a couple sleek, black cars. His eyes blared into hers, seeing every aspect of heartbreak that was swimming in them. 

She was the first one to look away, and it was the first time she'd had the strength to look away from those electric blue eyes. 

Mia slept over in Y/n's room. I mean Y/n wasn't complaining. All the girl wanted was comfort from the only family she had at the moment. Eventually, Mia fell asleep with dried tears staining her face. She's been on and off since the funeral earlier that day, and Y/n couldn't blame her. 

Y/n eventually got up and started rummaging around the house, cleaning and getting rid of anything that they didn't need. 

"Hey." Monty said, coming into the kitchen where Y/n was washing the dishes.

"Hi." Y/n mumbled, glancing over at him.

"How is she?" he asked, knowing Mia was crushed by the fall of their friend. 

"She's upset." Y/n replied. "I mean, I don't blame her. Letty was family."

"How are you?" Monty asked, hesitantly. Y/n was so worried about Mia's emotions that she hasn't even gotten to grieve herself. Of course when she got the news, she sobbed but ever since, she's been quiet. She'd busy herself, just wanting to distract herself from reality. 

"I'm fine." she shrugged. Monty gave her a look, not believing her one bit. "Seriously, I don't dwell on things too much. I mean of course I'm upset about it, but it's a part of life, things happen, ya know."

"I saw Brian." Monty said, finally after a beat of silence.

"Yeah, me too." Y/n whispered, remembering those blue eyes glaring into hers. She finished the dishes, and started to move towards the table where a box sat. "Uh, I'm gonna take this to the garage." 

Monty nodded, worried for his friend. He's never seen her this anxious, frantic even. But he didn't want to push it. He didn't want her to crack. 

Y/n walked out of the back door, box in hand, and into the garage. She put the box down on one of the old tables. Suddenly, she heard a rustling from the back of the shed. She turned to see the last person she'd ever thought standing behind her.

"Dom." she mumbled, teary eyed. Y/n then ran towards him, pulling him into a tight hug. "You shouldn't be here. They're staking the place out. If they find you here..." 

"They won't." Dom said. "Look at you." Dom pressed a hand onto her cheek. "You're grown up." 

"Yeah, you can say that." Y/n's tears finally welled over, streaming down her cheeks. 

Dom looked around in silence, soaking up the moment. As he did, he thought of the memories this place holds. The team, his family....Brian. He remembered when he had that conversation about his dad in this place. Dom thought he could trust him but obviously his trust was burned to the ground.

His eyes then fell onto his dad's old challenger. He glanced at Y/n before going over and inspecting it. 

"Letty and I wouldn't let them junk it." Y/n commented "When she came back, we'd always be in here. Trying as hard as we can to try and fix it up, ya know. Day and night. It was weird. I think we just knew you'd come back."

"I wanna see the crash site." Dom told her, tears filling his eyes.

The Torettos and Letty had met you at a race, Dom and Letty both liked your driving so you competed against her.

When you won and she was about to give you her car keys you told her to keep it, deciding that you were fine that way, so Dom decided he wanted you on his team.

You worked at the Toretto's store and coincidentally over time a blonde with blue eyes came daily for his tuna sandwich.

A horrible sandwich, by the way. Nobody liked the tuna there, Vince's words, not yours.

Mia realizing this, once Brian left after finishing the sandwich, smiled knowingly.

"He likes you." She decreed approaching you, you decided to play dumb like you didn't know what she was talking about.

"What? I don't think so." you denied turning over the magazine you were reading, she took it out of your hands.

"It's more than clear, I mean, have you seen yourself? You're super hot." she added and you denied smiling.

"Maybe it's another reason why he come to eat those horrible sandwiches." you winced at the thought of the first and last time you tried them.

"They're disgusting." both laughed agreeing. "But seriously, he likes you, at least he's attracted to you."

You sighed without saying anything, biting the inside of your cheek.

"Is Mia right?" you thought.

A few days had passed in which Brian had officially joined the team, when he went to the first barbecue that y'all organized every Sunday.

You both sent each other some meaningful looks. He couldn't stop looking at you, and you avoided his gaze out of embarrassment, but with a smile on your lips that let him know that you noticed his looks.

While the boys were watching a movie, you and Mia took care of the dishes even though you insisted that you could alone.

When Brian entered the kitchen Mia looked at you and nudged your shoulder covertly.

And you looked at her trying to tell her to calm down.

"May I help you with something?" He asked more than anything looking at you, and Mia took the opportunity to leave you both alone.

"Yes, actually I have a headache, good night y/n, good night Brian."

"Bye." you murmured going back to washing the dishes.

"Where I come from who cooks doesn't clean." He mentioned and came over to your side, drying the dishes after you washed them.

"I really enjoy doing it." you nodded without looking at him.

"You know what I don't enjoy?" he asked looking directly at you, you hummed to keep him talking. "that you never look me in the eye."

"What? That's not true." You denied, still without looking at him.

"Then do it, look at me." he ordered, and you put your shame aside to do it.

But it didn't last long because shame returned and you looked away, with a smile on your lips.

"See?! You can't do it." he mocked and when you finished washing the dishes you threw a rag in his face.

"It's just that you're too handsome." You said and quickly regretted it, where was your shame now?

"Handsome?" your face was literally a tomato. But that didn't stop him from walking up to you, tucking a lock of your hair behind your ear, and looked at you in the most beautiful way you've ever been looked at in your life. "Then you are gorgeous."

His ocean blue eyes looked into yours and honestly you could drown and die happily.

He leaned towards your face, and a little brush of lips made you join your lips in a kiss that was slow at first, but it became more passionate when he put his hand on the back of your neck to hold you in place.

A few minutes later they separated with a smile on their lips and continued cleaning.

At the end of the day you ended up kissing him and with a pending date.

The whole team was in the Desert Race. It was night and Dom asked you to help them and the others to steal some trucks that had waited too long to do it.

"I feel like something is going to go wrong." you murmured biting your lip anxiously and Letty nodded agreeing with you.

"We shouldn't be doing this without Jesse."

Dom asked you to calm down and so y'all went to start the mission.

The hours passed and you reached the trucks. And it all went horribly wrong.

Vince ended up with a shotgun wound to the abdomen, his arm totally bruised, and Letty was thrown off the road, causing her car to crash.

When Brian and Mia arrived to help y'all, Letty was in Leon's car.

You were next to Vince, on the side of the road. Brian reached for his phone to call an ambulance or something.

But his words left you stunned.

He was a cop. And he hid that from you.

He lied to you.

He looked at you with his blue eyes, hoping you weren't angry or upset with him.

But what you felt was beyond that.

When the call ended you got up to get away from there.

And he followed you.

"y/n! wait."

"What for? So that you continue lying to me?" you faced him, looking into his eyes.

"I'm sorry." I was going to take your hand but you took it away denying.

"You're just a liar." You declared looking at him with tears in your eyes thinking that probably everything he had told you that he felt for you was also a lie.

And he answered you as if he was reading your thoughts.

"Everything I told you, my feelings for you are true." he confessed taking one of your cheeks. "Please believe me."

You denied at first, unable to look at him, but he raised your face by the chin, bringing his face closer to yours. He stopped long enough for you to pull away, but when you didn't, he kissed you.

Just like your first kiss.

And even if you wanted to avoid it you couldn't, you were totally and irrevocably in love with Brian O'Conner.

So i had this idea for a deckard shaw x reader.

The reader is the top assassin of the world and is on everyone's radar. She is also very good at tracking people which is why mr. Nobody recruited her when dom went rogue. She is only there cuz she was offered money and conformation that the government wouldn't hunt her down anymore. She is kinda like natasha in a sense cuz she was also trained not to show emotions and she playfully flirts with everyone. But even after these years she still doesn't break the rule of not showing emotions. Deckard comes along and is naturally drawn towards her. So he asks someone on the team about her.

Deckard: what's her name?

Team member: she'll squash u like a bug

D: her name?

Then the team member tells him the name and description like how dangerous she is and what she is capable of. He has heard about the assassin called shadow bit never thought he would meet her or that she would be so beautiful. He keeps staring at her. The teammate notices and says: no staring......keep it moving.....keep it moving.

He also notices that she doesn't interact with anyone unless necessary and doesn't show emotions. He is curious so he tries to talk to her.

Her answers r always very short. A couple words at max. But he is very determined to get through her so he doesn't stop trying.

She just naturally flirts with everyone cuz its fun to watch them get flustered. So maybe somewhere in between she flirts with someone on the team and they get all flustered and start stuttering. She just smirks and walk away. She flirts with deckard too and at first he is surprised by her boldness but flirts back anyway which surprises her cuz he doesn't get flustered.

Roman tej ramsey and little nobody r very intimidated by her but at the same time also find her very attractive. So maybe a convo with them talking about her when she is not around.

When everyone is trying to find dom after cipher takes gods eye she is not in the room when everyone is bickering then the convo about ghost flights happens and towards the end when they ask deckard where dom is she comes in and says: toretto is in new york. And everyone looks at her in shock and mr nobody says to little nobody: see i told it was a good idea to bring her in!

During her and deckard's playful flirting she starts coming out of her shell. She starts getting close to deckard. But when deckard gets shot she gets a flashback from her training when the superiors r telling her how she doesn't deserve anything and anyone she gets close to will die coz they will kill that person. She gets reminded why she was distant and closed off in the first place. After getting the news that deckard is dead a tear slips from her eye but she immediately put her guard back on.

She is cold and closed off for the whole thing after that which scares everyone. But mr nobody hobbs and letty r genuinely concerned about her. They try to talk to her but she doesn't respond.

During this time she realizes that she felt something she had never felt before. She had started developing feelings for deckard.

After the mission is over and everyone is celebrating on the rooftop she is just standing in the corner away from everyone with her drink. She needs to get things off of her mind so she drinks smtn strong. Probably straight vodka on which we all know roman will make a comment. She can handle her drink so she doesn't get drunk. Deckard comes with dom's baby and someone on the team tell him how affected the reader was after his 'death'

Then he goes behind her and surprises her with a cocky cheezy pickup line. She turns around and sees him and slaps him hard. For the first time in his life deckard shaw is genuinely scared because of the deadly glare she sends his way. But she can't control herself and immediately pulls him in for a kiss which surprises everyone including him but he kisses back after a moment.

We all know Roman will make a snarky comment after seeing that but everyone else starts cheering for them.

When she sees the happy toretto family qnd dom's baby a tear unknowingly slips through her eye as she knows she can never have that.

No family

No kids (of her own atleast)

No love

Deckard reassures her that he will always be there for her no matter what. Then dom comes to her with baby brian and thanks her for all she has done. He tell her that she is also the part of the family now. She asks him if she can hold baby Brian and he gives him to her. She and brian play for a while and deckard watches from afar where he is now having a conversation with dom. A smile unknowingly spreads on his face watching them play. They all have dinner and mr nobody tells the reader that she doesn't have to hide anymore and no one is gonna hunt her down. She thanks him. Before leaving he tells her to be prepared anyway as he might need her for some other mission to which she just smirks.

You then heard a car pull up outside and turned your head to see Brian walking over. “Mia look who’s here” you teased Mia just stared at you clearly annoyed at you “just do your homework” she huffed before smiling at Brian as he entered the cafe and sat down next to you. “Homework, huh?” He said looking at your book “mind your own business tuna breath.” You replied not even looking up from your book. There were two rules you had, two rules your half brother gave you when he promised to take you in when you had nowhere else to go.

Rule One you kept up with your studying, just because you had the surname Toretto didn’t mean you could slack off, he wanted the best for you and not to end up like him or the rest of the family.

Rule two was you would keep out of trouble. Stay off the police radar and keep your head clean.

The first rule was easy and you were keeping your grades up and would be ready to sit the Bar soon enough, becoming the first lawyer within the family. But the second rule was hard, you grew up around cars and the fast life so it was in your blood.

It had been a long and exhausting week of studying and you needed a break, before you exploded. So as you climbed into the driver's seat of your Hellcat you went into auto pilot, cruising through the streets until you found an empty parking lot. You needed to let some steam off, it was late so you were less likely to get caught, or that’s what you thought. Little did you know you had a cop following you ever since you left the campus library.

A few burnouts and donuts never hurt anyone.

There was something about throwing the car about that made you feel free, the smell of burning rubber was one of the best smells and you found it relaxing. There was no doubt that you were a Toretto, it didn’t matter that you didn’t have the same mother as Dom and Mia, all that mattered was the Toretto blood than ran threw your veins.

You were in your own little world as you tore up the car park, leaving tyre marks as you went, to even notice the cop had put his lights on. It was only when you heard the blip of his siren you knew you were fucked. And you had broken rule number two.

“Fuck,” you mumbled bringing the car to a stop, killing the engine before slowly climbing out of the car.

“Should have known it would have been a Toretto,” the cop scoffed, instantly getting your back up.

“Talk about pre-judgement,” you mumbled under your breath.

“What was that Toretto?” The cop spat.

“Nothing,” you shrugged. “Look can I just go and we pretend this never happened?”

“I’ve been watching you all night, ever since you left campus, so far I can do you for speeding, reckless driving, criminal damage, and I’m sure if I looked probably illegal modifications,” he said, puffing his chest out.

“Look, do what you gotta do, I need to know what’s happening with the car so I can arrange a lift,” you said calmly, when inside you were panicking. You knew Dom was going to flip.

“I’m tempted to seize the car,” he laughed.

“Do it,” you shrugged, pulling your phone out, looking for Dom’s name, hitting call.

Within three rings he answered.

“You do realise the time right?” He laughed.

“Yeah I do but I need you, look don’t flip out but I went to let off some steam in an empty parking lot,” you sighed, “turns out a cop followed me from the campus and is tryna do me for so many things. And is now threatening to seize the hellcat.”

“Fuck sake, Y/N. What did I say?” Dom shouted.

“I know I broke rule two and I’m sorry okay.” You mumbled. “Just please come down, I don’t like the look of this cop, he is giving me the creeps.”

“Say no more kiddo, I’m on my way, ping me your location.” Dom said softly, he knew you didn’t get scared or creeped out often so he trusted your feelings. “I will bring the busta as well. Don’t worry.”

It didn’t take long before you heard the sound of Dom and Brian speeding down the street, pulling into the parking lot, parking with your car.

Dom jumped out the car, instantly pulling you into his arms. It didn’t matter that you were half siblings, neither of you saw each other as that. You were blood and he was going to do anything he could to keep you safe.

“You wanna shut your fucking mouth officer,” Dom snapped, pushing you behind him. “I mean is it that slow of a night that you have to follow a young woman and keep her blocked in a parking lot at eleven pm?”

“She was breaking the law,” the officer shrugged, “and just one look at her car tells me that it’s been illegally modified,”

“Well I’ve just had a walk around your car and I can find at least three different violations,” Brian said calmly. “For starters your tyres are bald, you have a brake light out, and the window wiper is broken, that is just from walking around the car.”

“What would your chief say if we reported you?” Dom said, “told him all the issues with your car and how you made a young woman feel uncomfortable. I’m not quite sure that would go down well.”

“Dom my dash cam is still recording,” you whispered.

“And we have proof,” Dom laughed, stepping closer to the cop. “So here is what’s gonna happen, you are going to climb back into your squad car and drive off, pretending that this never happened, that my little sister was never here.”

“But she obviously was here,” the cop laughed.

“I mean it’s our word against yours, these tyre marks could have been from anyone,” Brian shrugged, “and plus Y/N has been with me working on my car.”

“Fine,” the cop huffed, “but if I catch you driving so much one mile an hour over the speed limit I will be coming for you.”

“And then I will just come after you and send this little video to your chief.” Dom hissed. “Now get the fuck out of here and go you know, be a police officer.”

The three of you stood there, watching as he pulled out of the parking lot, driving off into the distance.

“Thank you,” you whispered, hugging Dom. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to cause you any trouble.”

“You are kidding right?” Dom laughed, “Trouble is your middle name”

“So you aren’t mad?” You asked looking up at him.

“What is there to be mad about? You were never here remember,” Dom laughed, “Now come on let’s get you home.”

"What about parts and service?" Mia asked as she held a folder full of papers in her hands. Y/n and Letty stood by a car, fixing it up. 

"Hold off on that." Dom answered.

"But, Dom, I don't know what to do with--" Mia cut herself off as a nasty, old wrecked, car was backed into the garage. 

"All right, what the hell is this?" Dom asked Brian, coming closer. Everyone else came closer as well, wanting to know what the hell that thing was. "What do you got there?"

"This is your car." Brian said, proudly.

"My car?" Dom pointed to himself as Jesse hit on the side of it with his fist. "I said a ten-second car, not a ten-minute car."

"You could push this across the finish line, or tow it." Y/n said making Letty laugh. 

"You couldn't even tow that across the finish line." Dom said.

"No faith." Brian shook his head a little with a smile, as the group laughed.

"Oh, I have faith in you, but this isn't a junkyard." Dom said, gesturing to the car. "This is a garage."

"Hey, pop the hood." Brian told Jesse

"Pop the hood?"

"Pop the hood." Brian grinned at Dom. The team moved the car into the garage where Jesse opened the hood, making it fall completely off. 

"Two J.Z. engine. No shit." Jesse said. 

"Goddamn, look at that thing." Y/n leaned closer to inspect it. 

"And what did I tell you?" Brian smiled, crossing his arms.

"I retract my previous statement." Dom said, a little impressed.

"You know what?" Jesse said holding onto the crowbar he used to open the hood. "This will decimate all after you put about fifteen grand in it or more, if we have to overnight parts from Japan."

"We'll put it on my tab at Harry's." Dom said. 

"Yes!" 

"I gotta get you racing again so I can make some money off your ass." Dom said to Brian. "There's a show down in the desert called Race Wars and that's where you'll do it." Dom started to walk away but stopped and turned to Brian. I'll tell you what. When you're not workin' at Harry's, you're workin' here. If you can't find the right tool in this garage, Mr. Arizona, you don't belong near a car." 

Y/n walked closer to Brian with a smirk, she got close enough to feel his breath on her face, "Guess your his bitch now." She chuckled at her comment before going working on her car.

The next day after a morning at the garage, the Toretto family decided to make the team a family dinner. 

"Mia! Y/n! Come on, the chicken's dry already." Dom called out to them as Monty and himself grilled the chicken. 

"Oh, shut it, we're coming!" Y/n called back to him, as she, Mia, Jesse, and Brian walked out the door bringing the things to set the table. Once the table was set and the food was placed onto it, they sat down, ready to eat. 

"Wait. Hold up." Dom said, as Jesse grabbed a piece of chicken. "Because you were the first out of everyone here to reach in to get the chicken, you say grace."

Everyone bowed their heads, and locked their hands.

"Dear heavenly, uh--" Jesse blanked for a moment, making Y/n want to burst out laughing. 

"Spirit." Leon finished for him.

"Spirit. Thank you." Jesse continued. "Uh, thank you for providing us with a direct port nitrous, uh, injection," Y/n let out a quiet snort making Brian nudge her side in amusement. "Four-core intercoolers and ball-bearing turbos, and, um, titanium valve springs. Thank you."

"Amen!" Leon said, as the rest of them clapped.  

"He was prayin' to the car gods, man." Letty said, amused.  

"If he's not the best--" Dom said with a smile, as he passed the plate of chicken around.

"Look who it is." Leon said. Y/n turned her head to see Vince walking towards them. "Old Coyotes 'R' Us. I thought you we're hungry, pumpkin."

Y/n's face dropped from joy to annoyance. Brian saw this and placed a comforting hand on her thigh. She looked at him and then down at his hand. He quickly pulled it away and before he could apologize, she put it back, placing hers on top of it. 

"You know, I gotta eat." Vince said. 

"He's always hungry." Letty said, blankly.

"All right, sit down." Dom waved him over. As Vince passed, he rubbed Dom's head inaudibly saying thank you. Vince greeted Mia before patting his brother's shoulder. His eyes fell onto Y/n as he sat down but she converted hers to Brian, who smiled at her making her smile back. 

After dinner, the team went to the living room to watch a movie. Y/n decided to wash the dishes, opting to do it then rather than later. 

"You need a hand with anything else?" Brian asked, bringing in the rest of the plates. 

"No, I'm good." Y/n said, focusing on the dishes. "You can go join the boys watchin' the movie."

"No, you see, the cook doesn't clean where I come from." Brian said, slipped beside her. He took a towel and started drying the already clean plates and cutlery. 

"Yeah?" Y/n questioned, glancing at him. "I'd love to go there." She then remembered something from a few days ago. "Hey, you remember you were gonna ask me something the day of the race?" She asked after a beat of silence. She stopped and turned, leaning her back against the sink. "What was it?"

Brian sighed and sat the plate he was drying down, "I was gonna ask you out. Which reminds me, do you wanna go out with me?"

Y/n tapped her lips in thought, "Hmmm, I don't know. I don't really date my cousin's friends."

"Oh, well, I guess I'll have to kick his ass then."

Y/n tried to hid her smile as she nodded her head, "Oh, yeah, I'd love to see that one. I would even pay to see it."

"Okay, but seriously. Am I gonna have to get on my knees and beg you or?" 

Y/n smile grew even more, her heart bursting with adoration. "I don't know. You on your knees sounds like a good sight to see."

Y/n's head turned at the sound of the microwave opening. Vince let out a wheeze as he popped in a bag of popcorn. 

"Wash my car when you get done." he said, laughing.

"Excuse me?" Y/n glared at him. 

"No, Y/n, I'm talking to the punk. And wear your favorite dress, 'cause when you're done, I'm puttin' you on the street where you belong, cutie." Y/n bit her tongue so hard she could taste blood. Vince laughed before looking back at the microwave. He pushed some buttons and hit the side. "Is this thing broken? What's wrong with this thing?"

She couldn't stay quiet anymore. "V?" She walked closer, grabbing his attention. "V, what was that Cuban restaurant you wanted to take me to? The one with the picadillo and the--"

"Little red candles and the wooden table?" Vince grinned.

"Yeah," Y/n said, coming a bit closer. "the plantain too. I see it all over the place, what's it called?"

"Cha Cha Cha." Vince said, still grinning. Y/n grinned back and she turned to Brian, walking closer to him. "Well, you can take me there. Does Friday night at 10 sound good to you?"

"Yeah, it's perfect." Brian said. 

"Good." Y/n said, looking down at his lips before going back up to his eyes. The two of them looked at Vince, who was backing out of the kitchen. He hit the door as he walked, angry.

"Make your own goddamn popcorn!" they heard Vince shout. Y/n placed a hand over her mouth to keep in her giggles. Brian smiled, not believing he's got a date with the most beautiful girl he's ever seen.
