Do you know what it's like to become a paladin? Do you know how much it hurts? You're not embracing the divine like a priest, you're having the divine used on your body, both it and you are a tool for the machinations of humanoid factions, both divine things used by mortals.

They force you to drink angel's blood. They pour metal onto your skin taken from the forge of the god of crafting. They make you sit for hours in a pool of the tears of the goddess of the dead. They make you wear artifacts from random faiths, day and night, the metal creasing your flesh. They break your flesh with a holy spear, and heal you with a spell from an unrelated god, again and again, until it barely hurts at all.

They watch you every day. You eat when they tell you to. Exercise when they tell you to. Sleep when they tell you to. There are people observing you when you sleep. When they ask for your happiness you try your best to be happy, when they ask for your anger you try your best to feel rage.

Your body changes. You're stronger then you should be, you lose fat, gain muscle. You grow taller with time, and soon your face becomes what you should feel is pretty, but it just seems creepy how little it looks like you. Your skin becomes unblemished, your hair the expected gold. You loose your digestive system and reproductive system, your mouth only staying so you can talk. You don't eat, don't sleep, don't even breath. You feel perfect, but you're not you anymore. Your bones feel wrong, you think they're metal now.

It hurts so much to be perfect for someone else.

What was with this coffee machine? After every cup of coffee, she just felt more .. feminine..?

On Monday it was jeans, sneakers and an old t-shirt. By the time Thursday hit, it was stockings, a satin party dress, heels and lots of ruffles. She even decorated her kitchen to be more feminine. It just felt "right".

Her hair was growing super fast too, and became soft and silky like her dresses. And each morning, she spent an age putting her make-up on perfectly, followed by going online to find a bigger petticoat or some hair accessories.

What on earth was going on? Maybe another coffee would help her think.

Some of you might know from reading my journal, but my cat that I've had for 14 years has been very sick and needs to be put down on March 9th. This is hard for me, but it's also hard for me financially, because his vet bills building up to this and the cost of euthanasia and cremation all adds up to around $400. I also want to start saving up to adopt a kitten from a reputable cat adoption agency. I have all six stages scripted out so I know what transforms when and I think people will find the results quite cute. I will also make sure I get these out much faster than I did the Link TFs, if I can help it. The character is easier to draw and there won't be background elements.
