Enough

I look like this,

And it's never enough.

I act like this,

And it's never enough.

I talk like this,

I bend, contorts, reshape, myself,

And it's never enough.

I don't know what to do,

Where I'm meant to be,

How I'm meant to fit in.

Or how I'm meant to feel safe with you.

You say you I'm gorgeous,

But your eye wanders,

You say I'm special,

But seek the attention from others,

You say I am so lovable,

But yet you can't commit to me.

I feel lost.

Confused,

Insecure,

Defeated,

Insufficient in your company.

I live on my nerves edge,

Never feeling confident,

Always catering to your needs,

Always trying to present perfectly,

Always persuading you to stay with me.

But this is stupid.

Let's take a step back,

Time to look at things objectively...

If you look at you,

Then you look at me,

Why am I pandering to your needs?

I'm gorgeous,

And smart,

Also kind, loving and considerate.

I buy the best presents,

And I give the best hugs,

I champion you in your lowest moments,

And hold space for you when you are afraid.

That's right,

I'm a great fucking catch,

And well above your score,

Anyone would be grateful to have me,

But yet you treat me as if you want more.

Who the fuck do you think you are?

And how am I not enough for you?

Stop pushing me aside with your insecurities,

Stop getting in my head with your criticisms,

Stop torturing me with your contradictions.

You are not better than me,

You don't get to call the shots,

You don't get to hold all the cards,

You don't get to decide if I'm enough for you,

I am a total package, and you don't deserve me.

I look within,

Find my worth,

Get my courage,

Claim what is mine,

And leave your sorry ass behind.

I stand by my personal power,

And I am enough.

I communicate my needs, wants and desires,

And I am enough.

I hold my ground on my values,

And I am enough.

I present imperfectly in my authenticity,

And I am always enough.

Is life merely a series of events, one following the other, each connected to the other? Or is there more to it especially when it comes to those seemingly nameless moments that act as subtle catalysts that are so unpredictable, changing the very course and direction of our lives? I always believe there's this fine element of surprise which God so beautifully throws into our lives every now and then - it may be an incident, or even an 'accident' or a person or something on a really massive global scale but it does happen every single time. We are carried over by our destinies in ways we couldn't have even fathomed. So what's the point? Well, it is to be receptive and welcome with hands wide open for anything that comes to our energy fields. If a matter is destructive or transformational, purely depends on how you receive it. One may actually be getting a blessing and yet wouldn't know how to keep it. Another may actually be receiving a calamity and yet would handle it so well to turn it out into a little treasure in its own way. So keep an eye for all that comes your way - don't be surprised, perhaps your life would change once and for all by something so trivial that would blow your mind away when you think of it at a later phase of life. Blessings are often disguised - sharpen your third eye to perceive it!

imagine you're a mechanic in the Transformers universe and you have a car come in with engine trouble so you open it up and the engine is just full of some kind of weird fast-spreading rust. never seen anything like it before

so you're like. hmmm. and you call the Autobots like 'hi I know this number is supposed to be for reporting possible Decepticon activity but I've got some kind of alien bullshit going on and I don't know who to ask'. they hand you over to Ratchet and Rachet is like 'hm I think I know what that is but let me come run some tests'

SO Ratchet comes over and has a look at the engine and is like yeah as I thought. its crotch rust. and you're like 'crotch rust??' and he's like yeah its crotch rust. its a. well I think humans call them STIs? its like that.

so you're like '..........are you telling me a Transformer fucked this car' and he's like yeah. looks that way. and you're like 'what in the world' and he's like I don't know. people are freaks. anyway we don't want this stuff spreading so I'll be back tomorrow with the right nanites. keep it away from the other cars.

he comes back the next day like okay so I have good news and I have bad news. you're like 'well what's the good news' and he's like WELL I spent last night testing all the autobots for crotch rust and they're all clean. so you're like 'does that mean the car wasn't fucked' and he's like oh no the car was definitely fucked there's no other way this could have happened.

so you're like 'wait. are you saying a Decepticon fucked this car?' and he's like yes. we have a Decepticon fucking cars. and they are giving the cars STIs. thank you for bringing this to our attention here are the nanites goodbye.
